Corazon Mexicano Cantina

The chorizo appetizer was dynamite. The rest... good, just nothing to write home about. It was warm, not hot. The enchilada sauce was watery and the chimichanga needed to be crisper. The atmosphere and service was great though. I'm sure I would eat there again, just not sure i would go out of my way.

I can’t say enough good things about Corazon Mexican Cantina. Whenever I’m craving truly authentic Mexican food, this is the place I think of first — especially the Montarey salmon dish. It’s cooked perfectly every time, beautifully seasoned, and full of flavor in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite salmon dishes anywhere. Not to mention, the fajitas and carne asada tacos are a hit every single time — bold, fresh, and consistently delicious. If you appreciate authentic Mexican cuisine that’s prepared with care and intention, Corazon Mexican Cantina is a must. I’ll gladly keep coming back — and yes, ordering the Monterey salmon every single time. Highly recommend.

This might be my favorite Mexican restaurant! I loved the interior, exterior, and the food as well! The colors inside are so lively, and the outside has this cozy vibe to it. We went at a random time so it was pretty much empty, but the waitress was so kind and attentive. The food was served quickly and hot, the plates are extremely hot just as a warning! The menu is quite vast, and there is definitely something for anybody.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff right away. I ordered the 20oz watermelon margarita, which was refreshing and perfectly complemented by a Tajín rim. The carnitas were well-seasoned and tender. Overall, it was a good dinner and an enjoyable experience

Our experience was great thanks to Ramon! He explained the whole entire menu, gave a great recommendations on food and drinks! Great service! And amazing food! We had Corazón Rice Texas, Steak was cooked great! We also had Corazón wings and shrimp which was super tasty and from kids menu, we got chicken tenders which our daughter loved ! Fries were amazing! Ramon thank you for choice in margarita ! Best prices in town!

Yummy Mexican food. I ordered a Jamaica which was tart and sweet. I also ordered chilaquiles which were delicious. The salsa and chips were very good. They have a parking lot.

Was just padding through, soo glad I stopped. Food was fresh and tasted amazing! Great staff. Clean and friendly. Did i mention the food was amazing? I ordered the steak quesadila and chorizo queso.

Everything is good here! Their chips are so fresh and they provide great service. Their Texas margaritas are strong. Chimichangas were delicious and huge portion for the price!

Overall an amazing experience! I loved the ambience and our sever was very friendly! We got our food fast and it was delicious. If you're around the area I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant.

Love, love, love this restaurant. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. Corazón is in my hometown, and when I visit I always make a point to either pop by for dinner or order delivery. The enchiladas in a cheese sauce are so dang good. They also make a tasty marg! Service is always great. And they put up a beautiful Christmas tree for Christmas time!

So on a Friday after work, this place gets packed. I had to create my own parking space. My friend had a table outside and it was very very loud. Definitely not the best option if you want to catch up and talk. The road is nearby, and there were multiple people with their big barking dogs. Our waiter was Fernando and we could tell that he was pretty busy. We ordered a skinny margarita pitcher and our meals. I had the combination (taco, rice and beans, and burrito) and it was very flavorful. We all enjoyed our meal and drinks. I'm not in a rush to return but if I did eat here again, I would definitely have to be inside.

Food was amazing, they brought delicious chips and salsa to the table and took our drink order. For appetizer I had the queso fundido, small guacamole. As entree the birria tacos, carne asada tacos, enchiladas corazón. Everything was amazing. Daniel our server was very attentive, and courteous. He spoke to us in Spanish and repeated everything in English. Would definitely come back!

This place is beautiful from inside and out. Lovely artwork on the walls and beautiful outside seating. It just happened to be a very cold Wednesday night, so we sat inside. We got seated promptly, and Roberto, our server, greeted us immediately. The entire staff was friendly. There were a lot of good choices on the menu, but I wanted a Taco Salad with ground beef. It was great but smaller than at my usual Mexican restaurants. Cheese Dip and Salsa were good and not too spicey. My daughter ordered a Corazon Quesadilla, and she was pleased with her meal. Their prices were compatible with other similar restaurants in the area. Very pleasant experience, a lot of parking! We will be back.

Having moved close to this restaurant in June of '24, I have visited at least 2 to 3 times a week, and with each visit there have been no let-downs. The beef is particularly tasty and the Pollo Con Championes is wonderful. Don't hesitate!

I visited for my first time this past Monday. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a very friendly host who sat me & my guest on the patio. I immediately loved the atmosphere. It was clean & festive. I was greeted by another host who delivered our chips & salsa and he was very friendly as well. The chips & salsa were delicious! Warm & very tasty! Our server, Jesus, came directly to our table as soon as he saw we started eating our chips & took our drink orders while we looked at the menu. All of the items on the menu are very well priced and everything looked very appealing. The meal I ordered was absolutely delicious & the plate presentation was very nice. Jesus was very courteous in doing table check backs & refilling our drinks. He was extremely friendly throughout our whole time there. I would have to give this place definitely a 5 out of 5! It is definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in my life. If you haven't tried it I highly suggest it. It's very family friendly and just an all around great atmosphere for a date night or gathering of friends.

Great Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are reasonable and good. The Mole sauce is excellent and not too spicy. Guacamole is also great handmade. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner early on a Saturday night. Good service. My wife ordered chicken tacos, asked for flour tacos, they brought corn. She really wanted fish tacos, but all they offer is tilapia. I ordered the Texas fajitas. Meat was very good, but vegetables were swimming in oil.

This is by far the best Mexican food I've had since I have been here in Atlanta. I am originally from LA and San Diego area so I know great Mexican food when I taste it and this place definitely makes me miss home. Can't wait to go back for more, salsa and guacamole alone had me in a chokehold.

Met a friend for lunch. Friend is vegan/vegetarian and I am plant based, but still eat meat if I want to. Decided to try the vegetarian nachos and friend had the vegetarian quesadillas. Was good food. I would have given five stars, but the queso was a sauce and not gooey. Also, it was poured over the nachos instead of served on the side. Great flavors, though. Server was prompt in taking our order and made sure we had drink refills. They also offer QR payment of the bill which is very convenient as it charges through ApplePay or SamsungPay. It was a little windy, but it was a nice day to sit outside. The restaurant has a large bar and decent sized dining room. Very casual and felt very comfortable while waiting for my friend. Will definitely go again, but try another dish.

I recently checked out Corazon for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't packed, but there was a nice amount of people in the restaurant. I sat at the bar since it was just me. The bartender immediately greeted me and took my drink order. I ordered a water and a Texas Margarita. The margarita was nice & strong. For my food I ordered the Enchiladas Corazon with grilled chicken ($12.50). You get a choice of red or green sauce and it comes with cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and a side of rice and black beans. I must add the black beans were seasoned so well. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. They also provide complementary chips and salsa upon being seated. This will be a go to spot for me when I'm craving Mexican food.

We love this restaurant and come almost every week. We like the atmosphere and we always have great service. We usually always get the same things- I always get the Mexico City Tacos, and my fiance always gets the Burrito Marietta. You can't go wrong! We also love their queso with jalapeños and their margaritas are bomb! Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Marietta!

Food is great! Service is great. I've been multiple times and enjoy it immensely, Sometimes I think it's too good, causing me to eat more quickly and not fully enjoy the dish. But that's a me-problem - 5 stars

Been frequenting this local for a few weeks now. A few interesting choices like the Corazon Rice keep us coming back. Bartender is friendly and efficient. The staff keeps the place hopping. 4 weeks now and the food has been great.

We had to drive from NC to pick up a car from repair shop. Stumbled across this restaurant. WOW! The staff is very friendly and fast. The food is terrific. The chimichanga with shredded chicken was delicious. The Corazon bowl was huge and so so good. The margaritas were on point. Don't know that we'll ever be back this way but it is very worth a visit!

This is a good place to visit for quick food and great margaritas. We have visited a few times and haven't been disappointed.! My only real complaint is the black beans are not really seasoned well but everything else is really tasty.

All I can say is wow!!!!! BIRRIA tacos were delicious. But you got to get extra cheese Verde, and limes. Add limes to Birria dipping sauce and on top off BIRRIA tacos and go to town!!!!!

We have been here three now and it is our new favorite. We have several Mexican restaurants closer to us but this place is worth the extra drive. Everyone is so nice and the food is amazing. I have had the Chicken Soup, Birria Tacos and the Corazon Bowl Grill. All were delicious. The restaurant is super clean too and restaurant has a great vibe. I prefer sitting outside but inside is good too.

Delicious, fresh food and margaritas--not your typical Tex-Mex fare. Even refried and black beans were uniquely spiced and wonderful. Fabulous chile poblano at lunch

The food here is great! This is Mexican food that's a step above the Laredos and Los Bravos and other area spots. However, I will criticize them on the margaritas. They are from a premade machine and without much Tequila. You're drinking margarita mix that has a ratio of tequila not equal to the mix. I'm giving this review on the food/margaritas after being there 10+ times. Again, the food is spot on so I'll keep going but I'm done w the margs as it's a waste of money.

We really liked this place! It's not your typical Mexican restaurant that's going to be playing Selena in the background lol you're going to hear the great hits of the 80s, 90s and today. The patio is great! Covered so you can be outside on even the rainiest of days. The queso is creamy and delicious. The margs are strong. I got the carne asada and man was it tasty!! The best seasoning on carne asada that I've ever had.

We've tried Corazon 4 times now. We were stoked when they opened. They invested so much, completely redesigned the old space and it does look great. No taking that from them. But all 4 times service is really bad. The servers seem like they have little to training. And rarely do they check on you, so when your order is wrong you're stuck waiting. If you need another drink...waiting. If you're missing something...waiting. The quality of the food is super hit or miss, too, but mainly feels like lower end Sysco food. I never feel well after I eat here. Thought it was once, but 4 times is plenty of chances to invest in a restaurant when Marietta is chock full of better Mexican restaurants. A real shame...the patio is awesome, but the service and food just isn't our bag.

Host from Friday night came to my table 4 separate times to make sexually inappropriate jokes to me in front of my girlfriend on our 7 month anniversary. Food and serving is always amazing here, but if that young man is hosting I would never come back.

Wow i really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back soooooon! I ordered the Costillas Mexicanos and as you can see in my picture I ate good. This place was the opposite of what expected all the way to the service. Andres was our server and he was the best server we've probably ever had, very attentive and made my family feel cared for and happy. The owners work the establishment so you know it's always going to be good. The inside is well decorated and inviting. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun so I'll definitely be back with all of my friends. I also order the skinny marg. And I'll go ahead and give that a 10/10. I'm so happy this place is close to my place because I plan to come back for drinks and tacos. FYI their tacos are a hit!

Good food, lots of outdoor seating and a killer jalapeño margarita. Popular spot on a Tuesday night. It's right by a busy road but that's not a problem. Ask for their special house made hot sauce.

I found my new Mexican restaurant! Since moving to Kennesaw Georgia, my husband and I have been in search for a great Mexican restaurant. We've tried to so far and didn't care for the match. I stopped here on my way from a doctors appointment and I'm so happy I did. The food here is amazing! I ordered the chicken taquitos with beans and rice. The beans are so good! The taquitos were delicious and crispy! The food is amazing! Don't miss out!

This place is a classic. Near and dear to my heart. From beginning to end it's a great experience. Parking? Great. They have their own parking lot with lots of spots--however they can fill up because it's so busy some evenings. Seating options? Great. I especially love their outdoor seating. Chips and salsa? Great! I love their chips, they're thin and crispy and not too oily. Their salsa is also good, not very chunky and a mild spice. Menu? Everything under the sun, of course. And it's always delicious. I have been disappointed a couple times, but it's only because I didn't know what to order--no blame on them. Servers are always so friendly and I've never had a problem here. It's tastefully decorated and totally on point. Definitely where I'll be for Cinco de Mayo and for a few more times in between!

We have stopped here for dinner a couple of times because we pass it driving from Marietta to Kennesaw often. It's nice inside, decorated with a lot of bright colors and furnished with nice booths and tables. The food that we have ordered has been good (the cheese dip is yummy). The staff are always nice, and the prices are average. We will definitely continue to stop in here, when it makes sense and we will be driving by!

Boy am I glad Corazon Mexicano Cantina came here when it did. Corazon Mexicano Cantina occupies a space that has had little luck in the past 20 years. Cycling between about three different Mexican Restaurants, this space has always failed not because of the food-but because of the lack of effort. Fortunately look no further because Corazon Mexicano Cantina has saved Bells Ferry. Starting with the space, Corazon Mexicano Cantina didn't change the layout very much from that of its previous tenant, but Corazon Mexicano Cantina did certainly lighten the space up by removing the carpet, painting the walls, and creating a more modern welcoming bar area and dining area alike. Likewise, the outside space is brightly decorated with fans and umbrellas and definitely lends itself to ample outdoor seating. Corazon Mexicano Cantina's greatest strength comes from its staff and from the diversity of their well organized menu. Corazon Mexicano Cantina features your standard Mexican fare, but never before have I seen so many egg dishes on a Mexican restaurant lunch menu-which is alway fun to see. I also enjoyed the way in which the menu was organized as I felt invited to try dishes that I have never ordered before. Nonetheless, Corazon Mexicano Cantina separates itself from others through its staff. My server, Andres, created a genuinely memorable experience. Not only was Andres kind, but he also expressed a keen interest in getting to know who we were. Unlike other Mexican restaurants in the area, I felt as if Corazon Mexicano Cantina was a true "neighborhood spot." I have no doubt Corazon Mexicano Cantina will continue to prove itself as a welcome addition to our community.

The Pancho Villa burrito was incredible. Honestly, I've been thinking about it since a few days ago. The service was great and the employees are very warm and very hospitable. Came for dinner so it was packed and good atmosphere enjoyed families having dinner with their love ones

Let's start off with Andrés' abuelita makes the best damn Molé I've had outside of Southern California and Oaxaca Mexico. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, Let's get onto this review... We found this place when our usual joint decided to close sit down service due to the high number of to-go and Uber Eats/Doordash/etc orders. I hopped on Yelp and found this little hidden gem and off we went. After sitting down and being greeted by Andrés, we felt like regulars. This truly is a family run restaurant that prides itself on staying true to their family roots, not only when it comes to food, but also friendly service and treating you like you're extended family. When Andrés asked what I liked, and I mentioned Molé, he immediately smiled from ear to ear as his grandmother makes theirs fresh. So I ordered the Enchiladas Tepoztlan. When our food arrived I can tell you Andrés wasn't kidding about the Molé. It was hands down the best I've had outside of Southern California and Oaxaca Mexico. Not too sweet, just the right amount of spice, and packed full of flavor! Since that first trip 3 months ago, we no longer go anywhere else. We visit at least once a week. We've never had a bad dish, and we've eaten over half of the items on the menu. Service has always been impeccable and you just can't beat supporting a local family during these hard economic times. So if you're looking for real authentic Mexican food, go check them out. If you're not truly adventurous in what you eat and you are your normal taco and burrito kind of person, they've got that covered for you too.

This is a hidden gem!! I stopped by for lunch because the sign said I'd enjoy a "taste of heaven", and who could resist that? I wasn't greeted right away when I walked in, so wasn't sure if I needed to seat myself or be seated. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. Arriving after 3:30, I was pleased to be able to order from the lunch menu. I ordered the Chilaquiles (Mexican casserole) and LOVED it. I would have taken a picture but my stomach has other plans and it was devoured quickly. My server, Andres, was SUPER attentive and had the best personality and smile! I haven't had service that friendly in a very long time. Definitely recommend grabbing a taste of heaven.

The service was so slow even though the waiters were all available and hanging around. Food is overpriced for the quality...small portions and bland. Some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had.

Great find for a nice lunch with outdoor eating options. Service was exceptional. He had steak fajitas and I had Shredded chicken chimichanga from the lunch menu. Food came out quick and was fresh! Food was delicious! Definitely recommend. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had here on a Saturday afternoon! The servers are all efficient, friendly and energetic. Our server was magnificent! We sat outside under the covered patio. There are large televisions on the inside and outside. They also have a full bar with seating. We ordered chimichanga with rice and beans and a burrito supremo along with a regular margarita and a virgin daiquiri. Everything was delicious. In fact, my husband said the rice was the best he's ever had. Also, the bathrooms were clean. We will definitely return. It's a great spot for families, date nights, and watching sports and from the crowd many already know this.

Stopped in for a quick bite and ordered the carne asada tacos and OMG they were really good. I cannot wait to go back and eat other items from their menu. The staff was really nice as well!
