Corbet's Cabin Top of the World Waffles

Soft, buttery and freshly made waffles! We got the gateway which includes the bacon and peanut butter. Our order came out in 10 mins, we took the tramp up just to see the view and have the most wonderful waffles. Totally worth it! The wait is not long however they do get crowded inside and out so come warly, I wiuldn’t recommend coming during the middle of the day as that is the most busy time for them. The atmosphere was cozy. Waffles with peanut butter and bacon sounded different but drizzle a little honey to yout waffle and you will be in heaven! Hoping to come back here sometime soon!

Fast service and amazing waffles! Soft, buttery, and delicious—the Belgian waffles were a standout and paired perfectly with their rich hot chocolate. The Ski Bum drink was strong but tasty. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking! A must-stop spot at the top.

What a cool experience at the top of the mountain. Worth the wait in line. The absolutely best waffles I have ever had. They melt in your mouth. You eat them like a sandwich stuffed with fillings like peanut butter and bacon or fruit. Highly recommend a spiked hot chocolate too. The cabin is small. The crowd moves fairly quickly through. We shared a table with other people not in our group. Everyone was super nice.

Loved this place! We went with a party of 9 so we split all the waffles. By far the best waffles I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, light and thin. My fav was the biscoff cookie butter and caramel. Coffee was good. Staff was excellent and they even played Lettuce the band! My girl and I loved it.

If you have the opportunity to make it up here in the summer, DO IT! You will not regret it. The views from the top is just breathtaking! I guarantee you have not had better waffles anywhere on earth. They would make the batter at the bottom of the mountain and they bring it to the top with the tram is why they are as fluffy as they are. Its amazing! If you are visiting the area, this is a must!

We come here every time we ski Jackson Hole, and we always bring friends so they can experience this gem for themselves. I sincerely hope the resort never renovates or tears this place down—it’s a true experience just as it is. The moment you get off the tram and walk down, you’re greeted by the sweet smell of waffles—and another very distinct odor—all part of the quirky charm. The views from here are incredible, and the inside is cozy. If you want a table, you often have to snuggle up with strangers, which just adds to the fun atmosphere. While the waffles are famous and supposedly delicious, we unfortunately cannot enjoy them as they don’t offer a vegan mix. Cross-contamination isn’t a concern for us, we just wish there were a vegan recipe—please add one, we beg of you! Last season, we enjoyed the hot huckleberry vodka drinks instead, which are perfect for warming up before hitting the slopes. After a few of those, it’s especially fun to take on the Hobacks. Corbet’s Cabin is a must-visit experience at Jackson Hole—quirky, cozy, and unforgettable.

Definitely worth the $59 Tram Ride for the Nutella Waffles and views. Don't be worried about the line cause they will get you through in no time. It has the outdoor/ski vibe which makes it even more enjoyable to visit.

Gotta love a place that only does one thing so they can do it well! Locally known as the spot for waffles on top of the mountain. Easy to access by the tram from Teton Village or hike up the mountain if you're ambitious and in great shape. There are four varieties of waffles and you can't make a bad choice. Served on a sheet of foil to be eaten with your paws. No utensils here. So lick your fingers if you must. Great coffee drinks too, options for adult liquors added for making it indulgent. Orders are ready super fast, team works like a Swiss watch. I was amazed at how light and fluffy their waffles were. I don't know how they do it, is it the altitude? Should I bake waffles at home in a vacuum chamber to simulate 10,000 ft?

Corbett's cabin nestled just above Corbett's couloir and Teton Village, Wyoming is a cute cozy spot to grab waffles and a cup of coffee to warm up and fuel up after a day of skiing or hiking. Only accessible by tram or hiking Corbett's cabin is a great place to hang out on your next trip to Jackson. Corbett's cabin is a quick service style restaurant with a gift shop where you can purchase Jackson Hole Mountain resort apparel or Corbett's cabin unique apparel such as the iconic "waffles" branded merchandise. It is handicap accessible, and there are bathrooms available.

When I was planning activities with my friend during our visit to Jackson Hole, I put on the list "ride the tram up the mountain and get a waffle." Riding up the aerial tram, in Teton Village, Corbet's is the only spot for some warmth and sustenance. It's no frills, no nonsense and simple. Waffles, coffees, spiked hot drinks, tea and cocoa. It gets crowded so be ready to share a table with strangers and get cozy. The line moves quickly and the staff can seem brusque to some but to me, I loved it. Come in, pick which waffle you want and movie it along! Lol-and I love it. My friend I split the lemon curd waffle and had some hot drinks. It was a nice way to spend a little time at the top of the tram and warm up before we did the overlooks and headed down. Really yummy waffle and I left completely happy with the experience. Just what I expected!

Unique place for a waffle. The price of the lift ticket plus the waffle price needs to be ignored. You can't put a price on the experience and view. No utensils so use your fingers. I can check this off my bucket list!

If you've been skiing all day, I could see where this would be a good waffle. Basically any waffle would be good at that point. If it was an authentic Belgium waffle, sure or something that was very flavorful, but this is just a powdery mess.. the three stars is for the coolness factor being on top of the mountain and how tough it probably is to get your products up there

This is a great little spot to enjoy some warm waffles and hot chocolate before jumping on the aerial tram to head back down the mountain. It is very snug inside and more than likely you will end up sharing a table with some of the tram passengers. There is also deck seating outside but in our case it was very cold outside and I believe we were currently stuck in a cloud so we stayed inside. For as busy as it gets the service is pretty good and they get your waffles out to you quickly. If you are going up the mountain you should definitely try this little place.

We didn't try the famous waffles (although the aroma was tempting) but opted for a nice, cozy hot cocoa. It was deliciously topped with a huge dollop of whipped cream. Views can't be beat, although it was extremely cloudy and day we visited. We walked the top of the world trail and we're able to see some cloud clearings but mostly just white up there. The tram ride up and down did provide some excellent views, including wildlife hanging out on the mountain. Maybe we will get to try again on a clearer day.

Although it may seem odd to serve waffles at the top of a mountain...this place is perfect. After hiking the six mile, 4000+ foot elevation to the summit it was just what we needed. The waffles were served quickly and served well. Sitting at the outdoor table enjoying the view of what we had just accomplished was an unforgettable moment. Highly recommend even for those less insane souls who take the tram to the top.

Busy environment but great service! Love the decoration and cabin feel. Remember to bring a jacket gets pretty chilly even in the summer. The hot cocoa is a must! Best hot cocoa ive ever had. Also recommend the nutella waffle.

I don't generally eat waffles but I heard from our guide this was not to be missed. Take the tram up to the top of the mountain and you will see a cute "shack" when you get off. There are a few different kinds to choose from. I had mixed berry and husband had brown sugar. It's folded in half and cut in fours so it becomes a finger food. The waffles are light and fluffy the perfect pre hike meal.

This is by far the BEST waffles I've ever had. The only downfall is this place needs a little outdoor bar area like they do in Lake Tahoe but I would definitely be back just for those waffles.

A quintessential Jackson Hole ski experience for a reason! To get here, you must take the aerial tram to the top of the mountain. Then enjoy a waffle in a cozy atmosphere to fuel your epic ski down!

Worth a stop! We went both days we skied at jackson hole. When we went the first day we got the Nutella and split it between two of us it was delicious and filling. The second day we got the melted brown sugar (forget the actual name) it has a similar flavor to syrup while being less sticky which is why they do that flavor, but it was less filling than the Nutella. Definitely would recommend the Nutella. The hot chocolate was delicious and the value of the PBR wasn't bad considering you're at a tiny hut. Seating is tight so best to be patient and kind to others and share a table. It was a bit frustrating that some people were saving seats for their friends who were coming on the next tram because people could've sat and ate their waffles by the time their friends got there. It's a fun experience and we recommend checking it out!

These will be the best and most expensive waffles you will ever eat. You are paying for the experience and don't have to buy the waffles to enjoy the view. The waffles themselves aren't that expensive but add in the tram ride to the top it was a $200 breakfast for 4. Staff were amazing. Nothing like eating a hot fresh waffle smothered in Nutella, peanut butter, huckleberry compote or biscotti at 10,450 feet and hang gliding back down the mountain.

The waffles were so delicious. The atmosphere was great. I highly recommend checking it out.

Such a fun spot with beautiful views! It's worth noting that this is at the top of the mountain and you must take the Jackson Hole Tram to access it. Such a perfect way to carb load before or after a hike and/or skiing. It's a pretty small place that got incredibly crowded after a cold rainstorm blew in and they were forced to close the tram, but people joined together and shared tables and it all worked out. We ordered the Getaway Waffle (peanut butter and bacon), a plain waffle and several hot chocolates. The hot chocolate was hot and rich and the waffles were amazing (more soft than crunchy, most likely because they wrap them in tinfoil and they continue to steam after they're done cooking. We also loved that they had complimentary whipped cream, chocolate and honey that you can add to your waffles! The gift shop is also nice and has some of the cheapest stickers in all of Jackson Hole. I will warn you that the bathrooms are camp style and the heat is turned on to help with decomposition, not amazing accommodations, but it's hard to expect a lot at over 10,000 ft. Also, I'll warn you that there are poisonous flowers outside near the steps. There are signs on the trails warning you about these flowers, but I didn't notice them until my 4 year old came running up with them in her hands. It would be nice if they kept the area clear of these as a safety precaution to guests.

I loved it all except not being able to purchase a sweater after 4:45pm I was freezing and wanted to buy a waffle sweater after our hike.

Epic what can I say it has been 10 yrs but still the best food on any ski mountain in North America. I've made life altering decisions in this place, magical for me. Don't remember them having liquor in the past but that's new. Couldn't stray from the traditional Trad. I do remember a whole plate of waffle a decade ago but hey they really have great combinations. I just don't like much sugar or booze when I'm skiing, especially cliffs! Get a T Shirt too!

The best waffles I have ever had. Ten thousand feet on top, don't leave Jackson hole without trying this place. Take the Ariel Tram up, great view and so much fun! Wonder wonderland experience. This little cabin is cozy crowded. Don't be afraid to share the tables! Both the brown sugar "Trad" waffles and the Italian Nutella waffles are delicious, they are hot and made to order. Of course, you must wash them down with Irish cream coffee: a little buzz keeps your warm and happy

The only way to get here is up the tram (which you should expect to wait an hour or more to arrive at the top). Normally the tram holds 100pp. With COVID only 25pp. But in a group of savory eating breakfast skippers (including myself) we were all pretty impressed with how the crispy sweet waffles just melt in your mouth. Only advanced skiers should expect to ski down. We had to send half of our party back down the tram. Everyone agreed the waffles and view made this long detour worthwhile.

You had me at Nutella waffles and 10k+ feet. The only way to get here is by the tram which wait times vary but I promise it's worth it. Spectacular views of the clouds and the town of Jackson making the overall experience surreal and a tough one to forget. Aside from waffles, they have coffee, merchandise, and other beverages available for purchase to help keep you hydrated. The cabin is cozy and warm inside incase you get caught midst storm this is ideal to help get warm and quick.

Great view, mediocre waffles made the same way as do it yourself hotel breakfast stations. The waffles were not worth the wait. Take a picnic up the tram and skip Corbet's.

Definitely worth the trip to the top of the mountain for the best tasting waffles that melt in your mouth. So light and fluffy and the atmosphere is so cool and unique. Can't beat the view and the service is super friendly.

The waffles were great! Just stinks to pay $125 to ride the lift for a family of 4. Staff was great. Food came out super fast.

It was a long walk to the top of the mountain but it was all worth it after seeing the gourmet waffle shop. Walking in I was met with the amazing smell of waffles. The food came out quick and I had a nice, helpful conversation with him. Overall the food made me enjoy the long hike up.

Waffles hit the spot, and the selection of hot drinks, (spiked or not) leaves something for everyone!

This isn't your typical 'cabin', it's a warming hut at the top of the tram and the starting point for some of the steepest and best skiing on the continent. But.... They serve these incredibly delicious waffles with gooey fillings and fabulous coffee or bar drinks that warm you from the inside out. My only caution is that you are at over 10,000 feet elevation and alcohol can be pretty hard hitting so don't get more than one! Seating is where you find it, service is great, and the view is wonderful. And, you can always take the tram back down if you're not too sure about dropping off the edge and onto the steeps up there.

I'm not a waffle person, but these are amazing!! Husband and I got the Trad with brown sugar butter. Add honey to it. The kids demolished the cobbler with berries and whipped cream and the Belgian with cookie butter, caramel, and powdered sugar. They sound super heavy but are remarkably light. Highly recommend the trip up the tram.

If you are thinking about going up the mountain to get waffles here, do it. This place should be more famous.

Waffles on top of the world with views that stretch for hundred of miles. Hop off the tram bright and early and have a delicious waffle served up on a triangular wrapped alumni foil. The waffle choices in strawberry, Englishman (with lemon), the Italian (Nutella), and peanut butter with bacon. Our party had some hot chocolate to add warmth to the 10k view. No utensils or syrup, but seriously that is all overrated and you are on vacay. If you are in Jackson Hole and like some waffle time I seriously recommend you giving this little joint a try.

Where else can you have a waffle at 10,000 feet?! Corbet's Cabin has several different waffles to choose from, along with coffee (regular or spiked), merch and hydrating beverages. At least that part is useful for tourists. If you're a more seasoned outdoor adventurer, this cabin is a safety spot to wait out a crazy ass storm. I can only imagine what it's like at this altitude with snow and the giant gusts of Wyoming wind. Scary! But then again, if you're taking this run, you're probably not a beginner. Englishman waffle has a hint of lemon and whipped cream on top. It helped take my mind off the fact that we were up so very, very high and let me focus on food instead :)

We went when Corbet's was closed due to the Tram being closed, but they've got the waffles at the top of the gondola for the time being. I was expecting mind blowing waffles, and was disappointed. I kept hearing how good they are. My son got the "trad" which is just a waffle with brown sugar butter. It was okay, but nothing special. I got the one with peanut butter and bacon. It was 3 strips of bacon, which I watched them heat up in an oven, so the bacon was a bit on the soggy side. And the peanut butter was overwhelming. I'd have preferred, if you're doing bacon, something maple bacon. Fortunately, they are inexpensive for being the only food option at a tourist hotspot.

Everything tastes better when you're sitting on top of the world. Venture up to Corbet's Cabin and you'll munch on one of the most memorable and hardest won waffles you've ever eaten. If you can ski the terrain up there, you must try it. To get to Corbet's Cabin, you take the Tram up to top...the highest point around at about 10,500 feet. The menu isn't much but it's an incredible experience, with everyone gathered around cozy tables with steam from the waffle makers and hot chocolate machines wafting through the air. When the weather is severe, there's a wonderful feeling of being sheltered from the elements. The views are beautiful. I took my son there in 2008 and he still talks about it now. We had The Nutella waffle which is pretty much a waffle with nutella on it. We also had The Englishman, which has lemon and whipped cream. Since this is not IHOP, you won't be getting it on a plate with syrup. I'd categorize it as a snack rather than breakfast. It comes wrapped in tin foil, cut into four strips. You eat it with your fingers. Our preferred eating technique was to fold each strip into a sandwich and eat it that way. We did have a colorful moment here while everyone pretty much huddles together inside. The guy we were next to was a Jackson Hole resident, a man of few words. Someone drew him into a conversation about firearms. He told us that there are 8 times as many guns as people in Wyoming. Does he usually carry a gun? "Seldom." Does he ever carry a gun when he goes skiing? "Seldom." What? When asked why he would ever carry a gun while skiing, he responded that he sometimes goes off trail for grouse hunting. He even has a grouse pouch to haul them back. We were speechless, since there is very limited grouse hunting in Chicago. Two tips. 1. Don't kill yourself over a waffle. If the weather isn't cooperating or your skiing ability isn't strong enough yet, don't risk it. It's just a waffle. 2. The waffle is more of a snack than breakfast. It's best to have a proper breakfast in civilization and come here for a treat.

These are creative waffles - 5 types: 1.) Traditional (brown sugar and butter) 2.) One with Strawberry jam/jelly 3.) Lemon flavored 4.) Nutella 5.) Peanut Butter and Bacon - no, I'm NOT kidding The waffle is more of a snack than breakfast. It's best to have as sustenance for hiking the trails around the peak. Yet.... the view is fantastic!

Very small place, might be hard to get a table but worth the wait. Waffles (with nutella especially) taste amazing. Everybody in my family loved them. Definitely not a breakfast or lunch replacement, more like a desert stop. Went there twice during my 3 day ski trip. Hot coffee with a shot of Baileys is a great complement to the waffles :). I'm looking forward to be back. Views outside are breathtaking.

Best waffles - batch em up!! if you're a tourist you gotta check out the best waffles in the whole world... even though you may be ridiculed for walking out of the tram at the bottom if you're not a skier or snowboarder... eh, the waffles are worth it.

I'm not sure how, but this is the best waffle I've ever had. I went with the trad and it was delicious. Those guys up there bust their butt and hustled the whole time. This is a must do for anyone coming here even your friends and family that don't ski or snowboard. I have to admit, I came up just for the waffle and I don't regret it. In fact, I think I might go back for another.

We were looking for a place to eat for lunch. We were not expecting what we got! Everything we tried was amazing! From the appetizers to the main courses, it continued to get better! It is a must-go place when doing snow sports in Jackson Hole.
