Cordis Shanghai Hongqiao

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic — close to everything I needed yet quiet enough to truly relax. The lounge area was one of my favorite spots; it’s peaceful and comfortable, perfect for both unwinding and getting some work done.The staff were absolutely amazing — special thanks to Helly and Bessy, who were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality really made me feel welcome.Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run place to stay!

We stayed here for one night before catching the high-speed train from Hongqiao Station to Hangzhou the next day.The hotel is conveniently located near Hongqiao Railway Station, though be prepared for a bit of walking since the station itself is quite large. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They greeted us warmly every time we passed by.There’s also a small mall nearby where you can find daily necessities and some dining options. Overall, we had an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room I was upgraded to was spacious, spotless, and filled with fresh air — a real pleasure after a long day of travel.Breakfast was simply outstanding — an incredible variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with easy access to the railway, subway, and airport.Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Cordis Shanghai Hongqiao to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch hospitality in Shanghai.

Our room was very spacious - sorry, no photos because I only took a video and I can't seem to upload videos here. My only complaint as a Filipino who is not used to TP is there was no bidet (it is still a nice T&B). Transport hub (Lines 2, 10) is very accessible from the hotel and there are a lot of food options around. Day before our checkout, the cleaner gave double of some consumeable supplies (water, tea, coffee) which was nice. We only stayed a short while and never got to see their other facilities but if we go back to Shanghai I would book the same hotel. Never mind that our Room Number is 666 LOL ("Oh, lucky number!", said the receptionist who handled our super fast checkout 😁). Thank you, Cordis! We had a lovely stay.

Since i spend minimum 100 nights per year in hotels, i have many experiences to judge a hotel. And the Cordis Shanghai Hongqiao has a perfect location for business travelers and i had a very good memory to this hotel based on a stay two years ago. The hotel fulfills all criteria for a five star hotel but this time i got a relative small room at the utmost end of a low floor. And there was an extreme smell in this hotel and especially in the room. Maybe other people like but i don't. I wonder why they use such a strong fragrance... maybe to cover the smell from the carpet? After i realized that i didn't feel so comfortable anymore - but i need to admit that i am picky on the hotel selection. So i will not select this hotel anymore in the future - so sorry to tell it here.

I usually stay in this hotel if need to take train from Hongqiao Railway. Just 10 minutes by walk. There is a nice yard with different cafes and restaurants, a shopping also just the next door to the Hotel. Various breakfest with nice view restaurant. All amenities in the room are provided.

Only stayed for a night to explore this area. Hotel have many art pieces within the premises, gives off arty farty vibes. Many food choices within nearby vicinity. Close to hongqiao train station, but have to walk underground all the way to the very end. Extremely close to ZZEER只二 if you are heading there. Request for room closer to lift, as there’s plenty of rooms on each floor. Got assigned to the last room, quite a walk and very very far in from the lift landing area.

The hotel’s proximity to diverse dining options is a significant advantage. A variety of restaurants, ranging from casual eateries to upscale venues, are located within a 2-minute walk. Additionally, a 24-hour convenience store, just 100 meters from the entrance, provides easy access to everyday essentials, making the stay both comfortable and convenient.
