Always fantastic vibes here at Corduroy’s. The bartenders are professional and clearly know and love what they do :) Came in August 2021, and again 3 years later and the atmosphere hasn’t changed a bit. Huge fan of their amaretto sours, but their other cocktails are delicious too! Corduroy’s will always be a staple when visiting Vegas. It’s just such a unique bar with tons of value and incredible vibes!

You have to try this bar out! I went for one boozy bingo, and I fell in love with the place. The bar tenders were nice and the drinks tasted so good. The DJ was great and so fun. They have a cute little photo room, conversation pit, and a big empty room in the back so there are plenty of places to be. I took the cutest photos in the photo room I met new people and I had the best time. I would absolutely recommend this place. They do have snacks but it's stuff like Lunchables and chips no real food so eat before you go.

Nice atmosphere and great service from Gary and other bartenders! Drinks were all good, music was fun, and seating areas were comfortable. Definitely recommend!

We spent two nights on the Fremont experience, stayed at circa, and we wanted to check out some bars we’ve walked by for years butnever went in. What brought us to the Corduroy was the pickle back shots. We were happy to see there was spicy and regular pickle juice available. Feels like a dive bar, but without the stickiness, has a nice conversation pit to be among friends, and the strobe room was an experience. Kaylee helped us when we got there and let us know about everything corduroy has to offer. She was extremely inviting and always tended to us. The spicy pickle juice was in burn your tongue forever spicy, and went away with some water, but definitely has a kick. We went back the next day for the pickle backs and Gary helped us this time. Another server made us feel welcomed. He also gave us random Vegas fun facts. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to start or end the night while at Fremont, I suggest checking out corduroy, especially if you like pickles.

Amazing venue, fantastic atmosphere with music and DJ always at the top! Friendly bartenders and barmaids, really smart guys. Even though I was alone, I also managed to make friends with the security guys at the entrance, a great evening every time!

Google
Traveled alone to Vegas and was told to check out this bar. I’m glad I did, I ended up hanging out with two other ladies for a few hours there. Randy was our bar tender, he was amazing. Very friendly, attentive and we could tell he was looking out for us. If you’re on Fremont street check it out!

Google
Gary is the cats pajamas. This bar is great, and the service was above and beyond. The drinks were phenomenal. We are so happy this was recommended to us during our visit to Las Vegas, and we look forward to our next trip. Definitely check it out.

Well I hope it wasn’t your barback that cut my chain and stole my bike. You have every right to 86 me, but for stuff happening at griff? Come on. I’ve always been respectful of your establishment. Minus the one time I got arrested, but my record is sealed after my dismissal. I have nothing but time and a big heart, but as Randy and Gary know, I don’t take disrespect lightly. Don’t stand up for yourself when the security is just there to collect a check. Let the rich disrespect you, and have drinks spilled on you.

Yelp
Amazing playlist for my nostalgic ppl who had an emo phase in middle school... very edgy w cheap drinks. Great seating

Connor S.

Yelp
Fun Thursday night bingo! Great bartenders - Taylor is amazing! A great local dive bar with a very cool vibe!

Kendra F.

Yelp
Corduroy is a good off strip option for drinks that are decently priced, and right near the Fremont Street experience. It's a bit loud but the bartenders were quick and great, and the bar itself has a fun 70s vibe with a cool room to take photos in. They had a great selection of liquor and their cocktail menu was great too. I'd suggest this bar if you want a more authentic old Vegas feel and want to escape the craziness of the strip.

Yelp
This is our second time in Las Vegas, and I read about boozy bingo here on yelp. Im so glad we decided to come out. We got there a little early, and we sat a the bar and had some Long Island iced teas. I highly recommend sitting at the bar! The bartender was very friendly, and watching him make these beautiful drinks was very interesting! They played awesome 90s-2000s hard rock, and the DJ for bingo was so fun!

Sarah M.

Yelp
Shout out to Marshall what a wonderful bartender, super friendly, good service. He rocks! This place always has good music and I always meet cool people here. They have a few different nooks and cranny's and some secret spaces if you're curious to find them 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Corduroy has always been a go to stop on a bar crawl downtown. The drinks are great and decently priced. The bartenders are amazing and do a great job on getting drink orders out to everyone. The one thing that needs to change or be replaced is the awful DJ. Mez Matos, the DJ, is literally killing the vibe and ambiance of the place single handedly. The playlist is such a bore and nobody seems to be enjoying the music. Everyone is standing and only talking amongst each other. Nobody is dancing or at least bopping their head to the music. I saw several people on occasion go up to him and request songs and he rejected most of them done and said no. There were a couple request he did take but majority no. I know it's majority rock theme bar so rock genre is to be played. His playlist selection was a snooze fest. I feel like if you're a DJ and everyone is asking you to change the music then you aren't doing your job right. One thing is a song request to add to the already good mix and another thing is to be constantly asked to change up the music.

Tamara R.

Yelp
I ended up here on a very random night and had a blast! We played bingo and they gave out free shots. I'd definitely go back again.

Yelp
Fun little bar on Fremont!! The bartenders are super friendly Walking in on a Saturday around midnight there was hardly a wait to get in and getting drinks was easy considering it was still busy

Connie A.

Yelp
Service is great very welcoming and friendly. Ambiance is definitely upbeat. My first time and I do enjoy it here

Kiana D.

Yelp
One of few bars in the area without a cover on a Saturday night, we were surprised to that Corduroy wasn't too busy around 9 PM. We walked directly up to the bar and ordered drinks. I noticed that when you check in on Yelp, you can get BOGO Moscow Mules. A Moscow Mule would have been my drink of choice anyway, so I was stoked for this offer. The bartender was a little hesitant to give it to me, and went and asked his supervisor if it was okay. I found this a little disconcerting, but they did end up making good on the offer so I can't complain. This Moscow Mule was unlike any I had had before in that it was the spiciest ginger beer I've ever had. I love a spicy ginger beer, so was crazy about this, but it wasn't for the faint of heart. Others in my group weren't the biggest fans. They also serve a ton of fresh mint on top, dusted with powdered sugar. I believe it was about $14. I loved it so much, I asked one of the bartenders what ginger beer they use so I could get some for my home use - she said that they MAKE THEIR OWN! Outstanding. They had a great DJ loudly playing all kinds of different music. They also have a few arcade games in the back, and you can't skip their iconic photo booth room. Overall, the vibes at Corduroy are excellent. It's a much bigger space that originally meets the eye. Make sure you keep walking to the back to see all of their great, slightly more private, areas. Love it here!

Amelia H.

Yelp
Top level cocktails in a chill divey spot. Alex and Gary took amazing care of us - we loved our Bartender's Choices! They nailed what we like. Will now be on my stops when I'm in Vegas. Great way to see a bit of Fremont and get off the strip.

Amparo A.

Yelp
My first time here and I had so much fun. They make their one Ginger beer and the holiday drinks were delicious. I highly recommend you check this place out. The drinks were delicious and well poured. The music was early 90 rock and not to loud so you could hang out and talk with friends.

Brittany P.

Yelp
One of the best places to go if you want a fun vibe & phenomenal cocktails. Local approved.

Jeremy B.

Yelp
Corduroy is the cleanest dive bar with great service, and bingo night was amazing!!! So much fun.

Jeff B.

Yelp
Great punk bar. And bingo, yes I said bingo. Drinks were great and bartenders awesome

Andrea P.

Yelp
My favorite bar to go to on any night. Bartenders are SOOO nice and will help you make a decision of what you would like! Music is definitely a vibe here. The place might seem like just a regular bar, but once you go back to the bar it is a trendy hangout place. You can take picture with your friends with their famous light background and there are more seats and tables in the back-which if great if you are going with a crowd of friends. Best martini in my opinion is made here LOL

Lisa V.

Yelp
Laid back bar. The bartender was great She offered a choice of tequila for my margarita & suggested other attractions in the area. Ambiance was good, plenty to look at.

Jill C.

Yelp
I grabbed drinks with my bestie here last night as we were waiting for a table at Le Thai. I really liked the atmosphere, dark yet interesting decor and one of the friendliest bartenders around. My friend had an old fashioned, complete with the nice square cube of ice, he said it was perfect. He also tried the pickle back habanero shot, and liked it so much he had another. I ordered the pornstar martini. It was deliciously refreshing after walking around in the heat. It was accompanied by a shot of Prosecco which paired nicely. There were other guests at the bar and tables, yet wasn't crowded. I will definitely stop back in the next time I'm downtown!

Taylorallison B.

Yelp
Corduroy is a hidden gem among Fremont Street. The vibes, music, and customer service are unmatched to most bars on the street. Specifically, Drake is an amazing bartender. He pays attention to what the customer truly wants and makes the best drinks. He is very kind and attentive even with the crowded scene, and loud music. I highly recommend this bar for all locals and Tourists alike. Don't miss out on their habanero pickle shots as well one of their specialties. You will not regret coming here!

Jose C.

Yelp
Alex Penalosa is not only a horrible bartender but an even worse of a human being. Normally this place is great which we been to many times since we live here. But on bingo night 10-19-23 it was our first time doing it and weren't aware of only 1 card per person since people right by us gave us theirs. After we recieved our drinks he snatched 2 cards and said 1 per person & all I said was "damn you didn't need to snatch them like that, we didn't know" he said "sorry those are the rules". My girlfriend then repeated it to him that we didn't know and that he snatched them so abruptly. After that he lost his mind, grabbed our drinks, threw them right behind him which spilled everywhere and shouted "you can go somewhere else with that attitude" and continued to shout at a woman. Then had security (which we know) APOLOGIZE TO US because they had to escort us out & even they apologized for his behavior and told us to reach out to the GM. That guy should not be bartending. What an awful person. Made a really bad experience and I hope to escalate this.

Dustin U.

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in Las Vegas. Im not a local, but on every trip to Vegas, I stop by Corduroy for cocktails, great music and service. It's an easy walk from Fremont Experience but does not feel touristy. If you want a great rock and roll bar with local vibe, this is the spot.

Julie L.

Yelp
I am giving only 1 star because of the company's decision to not provide free water to their guests- during the hot desert summer months this can be VERY dangerous. Water should be offered as a courtesy out of basic concern for their customers. One should not be required to pay $6 for a small & inadequate amount of water. Hydration while consuming alcohol is a base line responsibility of the establishment. Care for others trumps profit! Shameful & grossly negligent of the organization. We spent hundreds of dollars and could'nt get a courtesy glass of water! WTF? How dumb can you people be? We will NOT support this company's greed. Sooo many other honorable options! Just say NO to this BS! Edit: thx for responding Chris. No, not the wrong location. You may want to communicate to your team because THIS happened during our (10 of us!) visit on Sunday night. So disturbing and very poor form.

Curtis W.

Yelp
I met the bouncer Isaac and the bartender Davey. They are amazing people and a great experience. Great bar. Awesome drinks. Go there for sure!

Jade P.

Yelp
Love this place. It's a cool and unique spot and even for being busy on a Saturday night the bartenders were great. Only thing is I did not receive my photos in my email from the photo booth and neither did a friend of mine that same night.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Such a neat bar! It gives you that 80s style rock & roll vibe! We were walking in downtown and stumbled upon this bar their light up backsplash wall is what caught my eye! Our bartenders were hilarious. I'd defiantly come back

Tara A.

Yelp
Corduroy is always a fun stop when we're prowling around on Fremont. Their vibe is pretty chill with the occasional shenanigans happening outside, because let's face it it is the Fremont street experience. But I love their drinks and the people who work there are nice.

Mads B.

Yelp
We went because we heard it was a cool 70s theme and a great photobooth. It was a bit oversold to us. Great location in the middle of everything. They do have some 70s themed things including a Pac-Man game/ space invaders and on the TV they show edited 70s porn sometimes You can't take your drinks to go from here. The drink menu/bar list aren't super refined. The drinks are more the fruitier drinks you ordered when you were 21. They are good but setting expectations. Not a ton of seating for busy nights. The photobooth isn't real. It's just a mirror on the wall you can take a selfie in that's by the bathroom. It was definitely oversold to us and a big part of why we came here to begin with.

Mario V.

Yelp
I have been coming here for at least the last 5 years lol. 10 times a month maybe haha! The staff is PHENOMENAL! The bartenders are the absolute best here and will always lookout for you. Same with the folks at the door. The drinks and snacks are perfection. This is the spot to be at and have an excellent variety of music with a focus on punk rock.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Bartender Alex made my night! Best employee here he has the best attitude & it the nicest person ever. I spilled my drink and someone else's on accident and he was the nicest about it. I'm so sorry about the in convince. Best bartender who makes the BEST drinks!

Megan N.

Yelp
Super fun bar right off of Fremont street, great drinks and they serve a good late night hot pocket

Ebony E.

Yelp
Stopped in to enjoy some Boozy Bingo!! Good times and a chance to get some Free shots!! Pretty cool place the music was just not my cup of tea. And not the best service felt as though I was being looked over, we were never greeted or acknowledged.

Warren L.

Yelp
They kicked my girlfriend out for no reason, they said she is to drunk when she clearly was not she was not being belligerent nor throwing up or causing a scene at all she was just dancing having a good time drinking water. To be clear this review is about the management of this establishment, the bartenders are great and we're great as they always are.

Nate C.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to hang out on Fremont St on Thursday nights! They've got Boozy Bingo, complete with DJ's, amazing bartenders, shot-ski and other boozy prizes! You can get some of the best cocktails inside, patio tables to smoke and Fremont 'people watch' on the outside!

Elijah E.

Yelp
Great service and good atmosphere. I went and there was hardly anyone there I'd like to go back when there's more people. I will warn the Photo Booth in the back never sent us our pictures.

Ta'Brechi H.

Yelp
Yelp 100 Challenge - 2018 #71 What an amazing bar! I had such a great time here and I will defiantly be back. A friend and I stopped in for a bit while waiting for another friend to get off of work. I had no expectations going here and just simply wanted to check it out. I was pretty impressed upon walking inside. 1.) I love the beautiful bar area with the purple bubble things. 2.) The DJ was playing great music. 3.) They have a photo booth. The photo booth would have to be my favorite things about this bar. There was a guard at the door of the photo booth just making sure no one stayed in there to long and to ensure no-one cut line. The sad thing about the photo booth is that I never received my photos in my email. After taking your photos you have the option to add your email and phone number for the photos to be send; however, I never received ours.

Chris V.

Yelp
Fremont Street has many bars. I'm glad that we spent time at this one. Corduroy seems to be a relatively new spot in the Fremont East district of Downtown Las Vegas. We may have been attracted by the colorful animated well behind the bar, but we stayed to check out of some of their craft beers on tap. Mind you, they didn't have anything utterly groundbreaking, and a few of their taps had the mass-produced "popular" beers (not to mention the array of stuff for cocktails and shots which surely were also popular), but they do have some draft crafts if those are what you're into. My friend and I just so happen to be in that crowd, so we enjoyed a couple of brews which happened to be $7 each for something in the range of 12 oz pours. My choice of Stoutello by Knee Deep Brewing Company was a nice milk stout, but instead of the promised chocolate hazelnut, I picked a light peanut flavor. I enjoyed the beer, but the marketing was misguided. My friend picked up the Evergreen Haze by Novo Brazil. It so happens that I've had it before, and there's definitely a tropical/citrus thing going on in this American, non-hazy IPA. I enjoyed it roughly as much as the first time. We both totally rocked out to the music. Not classic rock stuff, but the bands which we grew up on, like blink-182, Taking Back Sunday, The Killers, and Panic at the Disco (well, he may have a differing opinion there). I'm not sure if that music is on regular rotation or if it was just the preference of the DJ for Friday night / Saturday morning, but we had a blast while sitting at the windowsill and sipping on beers. I'll definitely have Corduroy in mind should I end up on another bar crawl in Downtown Las Vegas.

Zahkyia H.

Yelp
They make drinks with love. It's a vintage rock and roll bar that has a great vibe and deco. Everywhere you look the a picture picture back drop. The bartenders are artists, and they love, live and know so much about Downtown. Mules are the best I've ever had, not too sweet or syrupy with a heavy ginger taste(I love). They also have a delicious spicy pickle back (habanero shots), they make the pickle juice in house. If you like a chill bar with a neighborhood vibe and good people, try Corduroy!

Kye B.

Yelp
I rolled into this bar looking for a favorite bartender of mine who used to work at another bar in the neighborhood and they told me that he'd moved to the Corduroy. So I took a stroll over to the Corduroy: a hipster kinda place, sure, but in this case it being "hipster" wasn't such a bad thing, especially since my friend Kevin, was there. The reason I followed my friend there is because he was a proper mixologist, which means he'd make any kind of wacky, interesting cocktail I wanted. He was very accommodating to both me and my three friends and, as it turns out, the other bartenders there didn't suck either. The music was fine, though not my shizzle but it wasn't bad and considering i came to drink not dance, it was fine. The Corduroy was an old cash stop so the shape of the place is pretty boxy, but they did divide the place into some fun spaces. There was a great space in the back to sit down chill with some funky painting on the wall and and kookie tables. For or sure it's a place that I'll go back to. I'm curious to see how my sophomore outing goes.

Matthew G.

Yelp
Shout-out to Alex who provided excellent service to us. He noticed my girlfriend wasn't a fan of her drink and offered to make a new one for her. Quality service and would recommend this spot. Great music as well!

Becky K.

Yelp
Cool, trendy new bar in downtown Las Vegas. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they play great music. The bar has a traditional selection of drinks as well as some house concoctions. There is outdoor seating in the front, bar seating, and a little room with upholstered seating in the back that looks straight out of the 1970s. Find the "secret" photo booth room and take some fun pictures. The lighting is amazing.

Lindsey A.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere for me and my friends, great staff, and great drinks. Not expensive. And We love the photo room that you can take a bunch of pictures in.

Kinsey H.

Yelp
Alex is the most amazing bartender I've ever encountered in my life. The whole bar staff was lit. But Alex amazing 10/10

Mike T.

Yelp
1 star for shady/illegal business practices. Their security guards caught my friend w a fake ID and said they could buy it back for $40 or their security staff would just get rid of it on Sunday because they get a lot of fake IDs. So we paid him $40 cash to buy it back. (Now I will give you guys the backstory if you are interested) | | | We first went to Gold Spike but my friends couldn't get in due to the Gold Spikes dress code, no shorts or sweat pants. Then we walked and found Corduroy, it was going okay, but my older friend had a legit ID and the slimmer white security guard was really inspecting it hard w his blue light and feeling it, which was weird since it was a legit ID. Then they let that friend in and all my other friends in. So then comes my younger friend who is provisional aged, which is over the age of 18, but under 21. I am of age to drink, so I waited behind my friend just in case they caught his ID. So the slim white security guard checks my friend's ID and really inspects it hard as well. He used a blue light and checked for security features on the fake ID. I guess he thought it was fake so he handed it to a large overweight security guard wearing a flannel shirt and a black hat and he had a beard. He had the final say, in concluding that my friend had a fake ID. Keep in mind my friend's ID worked at Gold Spike, where they used a scanner, and has worked at multiple places. So these guys are pros at detecting fake IDs. I have no problem w them catching my friend's fake ID, but what I have a problem w is that the fat guy w a beard told my friend he can buy it back for $40. The fat guy w a beard told my friend that their bar and the bar next door are the best at catching fakes. I thought at first he was trying to make my friend feel better, but then this damn guy proceeds to say either he will get rid of his ID on Sunday as well as a stack of other people's fake IDs on Sunday, or my friend could buy it back for $40. Talk about manipulation and hustling and damn near illegal and grey area kinda stuff. I know my friend was in the wrong for having a Fake ID, but for a business with a legitimate business license that also pays taxes to do shady and illegal stuff like this is very sad to hear. Imagine how many people they catch w fake IDs at Corduroy?! If they catch 20 people with fake IDs every night, that would be $40 x 20 people = $800 a night, $800 x 365 days = $292,000. The owner of this establishment needs to hire staff that are professional. These security guards were very shady and ify. After my friend was caught w their Fake ID, another security guard asked to see mine, but I was already outside the establishment and on the sidewalk. This was the third security guard, he was either white or Latino and had a jacket or beanie on, I cannot recall. Talk about overstepping your "authority". But I knew my stuff was legit, so I showed him anyway and he handed it back in like 5 seconds because he knew it was legit. So in total, about 3 security guards got involved in our situation. One white male w jeans & a t-shirt who had the blue light, one big overweight guy sitting near the front gate wearing a flannel shirt and jeans and had a beard, and one white or Latino slimmer male wearing a jacket (the guy who asked to see my ID later) But this review is mainly about their shady security and illegal business practice of selling back Fake IDs for $40. I never actually entered the bar, it looked alright, it wasn't too big. So I don't have anything bad to say about the bar itself, but their security guards are hustlers who blackmailed us. But I think it is free to enter Corduroy. If you want a more of a bar/club scene w young adults dancing to music and having fun, I recommend Gold Spike, but beware of the walk from Fremont to Gold Spike, since you might see poop on the sidewalk. If you have never been to Freemont, it's kinda dirty and you may see drug users or needles on the ground. Also be aware of Gold Spikes dress code of no shorts or sweat pants or jerseys. Gold Spike has a $10-$20 entrance fee for males, it is free for females. The best time to go is around 11 pm-2 am. Anyways... Don't go to Corduroy if you have a Fake ID since they will illegally try to sell you back your ID for $40, which could net them hundreds of thousands of dollars every year in illegal untaxed business income!

Yelp
Very cool dive bar. Ask for Tater, he's a very knowledgeable bar man. Check in with Yelp app get a buy one get one free coupon for their delicious Moscow Mule. I'm a fan.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Wow! This place was awesome! Read great reviews on Yelp. We decided to include it in our Vegas trip last weekend. Alex our bartender was amazing and gave us a very welcoming atmosphere! My wife and I will definitely be stopping by in our future Vegas trip!

Johnathan P.

Yelp
Clean fun environment highly recommended by friends to come here. Now it's always a stop I like to take my out of town friends. Drinks are reasonably priced and great vibes.

Liliana P.

Yelp
this spot is perfect for a younger crowd! we were really surprised, the DJ was killing it. the inside was tiny but manageable to find a spot comfortably because it was surprisingly not packed on a friday night. i think it's an underrated find, the staff was super quick and attentive and very sweet

Angel M.

Yelp
I've been coming here for over 4+yrs now and everyone has always been respectful and very approachable. I love the vibe, music, staff, service and drinks here. I consider this bar my "go-to" bar and always invite friends and family! If your in town trying to look for a good time, well this is the spot to go to! Awesome place ever!!!
