Core Counseling

I had been wanting to start therapy for awhile and finally pushed myself to do so, and I feel so fortunate to have found Core Counseling. I have been working with Abby for a few months now and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. She's made me feel heard, welcomed, and just overall supported. There has already been so many times that I have implemented what we discuss into my daily life. The environment at Core Counseling just feels very safe and encouraging. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking to start counseling.

So I’ve had about 13 sessions with Abby, she’s amazing. She’s incredibly talented as a therapist. She’s makes the room feel safe, doesn’t force conversations that you may not want to have at the moment. It feels more than a job to her, it feels like she truly cares about her patients getting better and having a safe space to feel heard and seen. I plan to continue working with her and core. I truly look forward to our meetings. I’d recommend anyone looking into mental health betterment look here.

Angelica has been a most wonderful, patient, fun, informative and engaging therapist for me. I have healed and grown so much in this place, and after years of considering whether or not to go to therapy, I am incredibly grateful that she was my first real therapist. I leave Core Counseling now looking forward to my continued healing and growth, carrying with me the lessons I have learned under their guidance. I cannot thank them enough. When I first entered therapy again I was scared and nervous from past experiences with therapists, but they’ve showed me a more comfortable and calming way of how real therapy works. I've been progressing in life because of the work I've finally been provided. I came back to therapy because I was going to off myself and if it weren’t for the therapists that are here in this facility, I wouldn’t be here today. Everybody is very welcoming, kind, and gentle. If you are struggling with anything in life just know you can count on any of these therapists to help you along the way. You Are Not Alone! My therapist is Iesha Richards and she’s taught me so much in such a little bit of time. I'm very grateful for her and I can see the growth within myself and I'm very proud of the person I'm becoming! I was initially on the fence about therapy, not sure if it was something I truly needed.. I wasn’t comfortable with the thought of letting a complete stranger in my world and into my thoughts.. but in the short months I’ve been working with Laketa, I’ve gained a lot of insight and tools to work through various things in my life! She’s been everything I didn’t know I needed! She’s patient, down to earth, relatable and gives me a sense of no judgement whenever I’m expressing my deepest thoughts and emotions! Core counseling is a safe place to work on your issues. My therapist Laketa helps me set goals and guides me toward reaching those goals. I always feel better after a session. Their office is very welcoming and zen. Makes you feel comfortable right away. Highly recommended.
