Corendon Amsterdam New-West, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Sometimes you need to splurge a little and enjoy life. The price is well worth it. The service is fantastic, always ready to help. They’re environmentally conscious, offering you a small incentive to not have your rooms deep-cleaned every day. The location is very convenient, a couple minutes away from the tram and metro. Cannot say enough good things about it.

All in all a nice hotel. Nice rooms and an over all cool vibe. Location is OK but not great. You're roughly 20-30 min from Amsterdam proper. As others have mentioned, despite being listed as an amenity on the website, pool access cost €19 extra. Really disappointing considering that was one of the selling points.

Staff were really friendly and attentive in the hotel, the spa and the bar/restaurant. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the amenities were great. ||We went to the bar a few times and the drinks were excellent as well as the food, they had some very exciting cocktails to choose from. ||The pool and spa areas were really clean and well managed, the experience was great overall. ||We had a really positive experience and would love to come back at some point. Thank you!

Reception is great! Very helpful. The location is out of central, but you can get to local transportation easily. The room is okay, the rugs in general could have been way cleaner, and the mattress top was disgusting. It got changed fairly quickly, though. The restaurant attached is not worth it, and the booth seats were completely covered in crumbs. I wouldn't choose to stay here on my vacation again. Cleanliness should be a top priority.

Modern and tasteful decor in the lobby and the rooms. Friendly and attentive receptionist, (thank you, Isabel). Communication via the Marriott app, else via phone, as email is not available. The hotel honors Marriott perks: greeted us with a box of chocolates, two complimentary drinks and upgraded our king room to jr. suite. When we entered the room it smelled divine, but perhaps the air freshener is applied only once a week, because the lovely smell disappeared and the hallway didn't seem to be vacuumed daily. The hotel is very conveniently located between a metro and a tram stations, allowing quick 10-20 min to the center, ~30 min to the airport (2 metro + 1 train stops) and for a quiet and relaxing retreat from the center of Amsterdam. The lobby has a small self-service mini shop for sandwiches, cold drinks, wine and snacks and a French bakery is nearby.

I specifically stayed at the Corendon for the 737 Cockpit Suite. It is one of the most unique and incredible rooms I've stayed in. The hotel is recently renovated with a modern style with Asian touches. The 737 suite is beautiful with the airplane in the center, greeting you as soon as you walk in the door. With a massive bedroom, you can stretch out. The bed could be more comfortable, but it's not bad. The rain shower was nice, but personally, I think I would've preferred the bathroom to be larger and taken up some of the hallway that was unused space. The living room and kitchen are also massive spaces for a hotel suite. You have your own espresso machine, and they provide beans and milk. The location is far from everything, but it's only a couple minutes' walk to the metro which you can take to Amsterdam city center.

I have never had such a bad experience with any hotel.... I had a family emergency and even though I still want to come, I asked to stay one day less (I asked for it a month before my stay), they declined, explaining that there is no cancellation policy.... changing the date is definitely not a cancellation. I remember once I had a delayed flight and one of the hotels in Scotland offered me return for one day.... this is more than professional, here changing the date due to an family emergency is not possible.... really low standard of service. I advise you to change the manager - I work with many people and the management in your hotel is below standards. Update: I massage your hotel long ago and it’s no response, so you saying that you try to improve management etc. It’s unfortunate lie

Excellent property with neat and clean rooms..train station nearby... supermarket at a walking distance... Good breakfast with good service. They have a spa too which has sauna etc...24hrs gym... Special mention of Paulina at the hotel reception. She was very helpful and courteous. Also Ismail who managed to give us rooms early. Overall great stay!! Surely recommended!!
