Coret - Review - City Centre - Bath - The Infatuation

"Coret is tucked into a Milsom Place courtyard so pretty that you’ll find yourself asking, “is that trailing ivy really real?”. Part coffee shop and part fully fledged aspirational homeware daydream, it’s a calming cafe to stop by for latte art-topped coffees and maybe a spot of journalling. There’s a pristine stack of logs in one corner and a rack of newspapers in another. And if you need a chic, writerly headshot taken, we’d absolutely do it here. The coffee is good, but the look—think White Company does cafe—is everything." - Sinéad Cranna

The ultimate hipster hangout, just without the hipsters, at least when I visited. Coret feels like a crossover between a minimalist café in Sherborne and a stylish co working space from the future. It’s clean, sleek and perfectly decorated, with polished concrete walls and vine covered seating that give it a cool, futuristic edge. Whether you’re making your first crypto purchase or watching cat videos, it’s the kind of place that somehow makes both feel appropriate. There’s a wide range of coffee options, and my cappuccino was expertly made, smooth, balanced and presented with care. Tucked away in The Shires, it’s something of a hidden gem. There’s no parking, it’s Bath after all, but if you’re in the area, it’s well worth a detour.

A welcoming coffee haven on Milsom Street—Coret Coffee Bar is a delightful must-visit in Bath. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a cozy and relaxed ambiance that instantly feels like a little escape. The coffee? Always well-made, with the option to choose beans and learn their origins—a thoughtful touch that shows how much they care about quality. I tried an americano using beans from Honduras - Colours Coffee—balanced and subtly sweet, just how I like it. The staff were friendly, efficient, and struck that perfect balance of warm professionalism—you feel welcome without feeling rushed. The coffee with ginger beer is a must try too. And the seating in the walk way is such a lovely place to enjoy your coffee and snack.

Great cafe tucked down a lane just off Milsom Street. The cakes are really good and there is a choice of coffee brews to choose from (don't panic - they will help you choose if you're not sure which to choose!) They have magazines and papers to read and there is a semi-sheltered outside seating area.

One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. The milk was textured perfectly, with a smooth, velvety finish, and the flavour was beautifully well-rounded. We also had an oat hot chocolate which was wonderful as well. Not only was the coffee spot on, but the space itself is gorgeous — every detail feels so thoughtfully done. The team working here are warm, welcoming, and clearly care about what they do. If I ever opened a coffee shop, I’d want it to look exactly like this. 🤎

Very lovely staff, Toby was delightful and very helpful. Very cool spot to chill and grab a cup. First time we enjoyed a flat white and a mocha. We then returned after walking around a bit and had a second that white with a different coffee and a Brazilian aeropress. Definitely recommend if you're strolling around Bath.

cheeky too good to go bag from coret coffee. Looked like a nice place. Didn't spend too long here really. Food was good though.

Lovely natural, warm vibe with a few different seating areas. The outside area looks great for a coffee or glass of wine on a sunny day! We tried two of their coffees as cappuccinos - great coffee and would definitely recommend!

Hidden gem in Bath. Amazing coffee, whether you’re a coffee fiend or just starting your coffee journey. Have a small but good selection of pastries and savouries as well.
