Corgi Jianbing 可吉煎饼

We thought the jianbing was really dry and didn’t combine well together. We wanted to add avocados and that might have helped with the taste but they didn’t have any that day. The cart is located in a nice area and there’s seating nearby to eat. Service was pretty quick.

This review is for my Doordash delivery that I placed from their Brooklyn location and truly deserves all the 5 stars: Bings are absolutely delicious with high quality ingredients you can taste and perfect sauces to make it chef’s kiss. My favorite is the classic pork floss egg & mayo combo—simple yet super satisfyingly delicious. The price is a bit steep BUT the portion is quite big and the cute corgi branding has my heart. P.S. to my lovely surprise they also added a free cold soy milk to my order which was just perfect to complete my meal. TYSM <3

Situated in Rafferty Triangle is a truck making large brunch items known as Chinese crepes or jianbing. I recommend adding two eggs and taking advantage of the vegetables as they add lasting crunch. The flavor is really good and as a result I'm a repeat customer.

Amazing food!! Definitely check this place out if you’re in LIC.

Absolutely delicious. The shattery shell of the of the original crepe gives way to a fresh vegetal crisp of the cabbage. Delicately fried strips add another crackle reminiscent of tortilla strips you might find in a burrito, but with a satisfying subtle porkiness. A touch of spicy sauce rounds it out and lingers in your mouth after the last bite, letting you savor this symphony a little bit longer. I look forward to trying it with the sausage, which I suspect will add a beautiful snap and juiciness to the show.

Good quality ingredients, so can see why they charge so much. I like it better with the egg and scallion and sesame on outside, helped balance out the slight sweetness of the crepe batter. The cracker on inside was light fluffy and crispy, better then most places I've had it at, tastes homemade. I got mine with ham and pork floss. My boyfriend got plain with cabbage and beef sausage (which is a hot dog). Also the soy milk was excellent, fresh and not watered down. Ordering was a bit confusing cause there are so many signs on the outside of the truck. You can scan to order, but you need to pay at window (cash, venmo, or zelle) or you can order at window in person. We tried the scan and it seems to take longer, and our ordered got mixed up with someone else's, so next time I'm just ordering at window. Plus if you order in person you can customize your order, instead of ordering standard sets. There's a small sign just below window that says how to order and you can pick your crepe style and fillings. Did spot 2 corgis while there :). Didn't want to be creepy and take pictures without permission.

$10-15 for a jianbing (chinese savory crepe). There’s the original crispy style more similar to a crepe and a softer jing style that’s more eggy. Super filling for one person, be prepared for a food coma!

Coming back a year later to add on to my review and once again praise this place. It was 5 stars before and still is! Some of the best food in the area and it never disappoints!

I live in the area and have spotted this cute food truck around many times, but only recently finally got the chance to try it out. My coworker (who lives nearby) and I decided to order some breakfast here on the way to work. We showed up around 8:45, and there was a bit of a queue (two people ahead of us), but they are speedy, so we got our food in no time. Overall, it was really tasty and quite authentic imo, albeit a bit pricey (adding various ingredients like eggs and meat can cause the price to add up quickly). I think one extra egg makes for a good portion size, and I would recommend getting pork floss and one meat (the Spam is so yummy). For spiciness, the options do tend to lean mild, so the "regular" spicy is not really that spicy. Also, I still don't really know what the difference between the "original" and "jing style" jian bing. Obligatory warning for cilantro-haters like me: they do include cilantro by default, but you can just ask them not to include. Some other notes: they aren't here everyday (i.e. referring to the Court Sq location near the pharmacy), and I don't know where to reliably find their schedule online (Yelp/Google aren't consistently accurate). My friend says that he's in a WeChat group where the owner apparently announces the days he'll be open for business LOL. They also don't take credit card; I paid with Venmo, and cash and (I think) Zelle is accepted, too. Overall, I had a great jian bing here and would love to come again, but I might have to wait until I get lucky and see the cart when passing by (since I don't have WeChat lol).

Delicious bing- I got the mozzarella and pork floss add on. Crispy and the chili oil has a lot of umami!

I wanted to like this, because LIC really could use some more Asian breakfast spots, but man, it was.. pretty mediocre. I don't mind that it's not an Asian chef making the food in this cart, but the flavor wasn't accurate to begin with I feel. It was somehow fully stuffed, but still felt lacking. It's not BAD, but definitely not something I need to go back to eat. At least the man was nice. The cart also regularly moves around the area, making it quite difficult to pin them down when you actually want this. This may have been different if I ate it on the spot, but it didn't really make it home structurally sound for the 5 minute walk either, further detracting from the experience. Overall, a bit of a disappointing spot. I'll stay on the lookout for other options

These Jianbings were so pretty so we were super excited to try them out! I got the original Jianbing with cheese, Turkey ham, and beef sausage but the taste was a little bland for me. There was a sauce to it but it didn't feel enough. My boyfriend got a Jing Style Jianbing and added spicy sauce which I really do recommend (more flavor, not too spicy) but even then, it was not tasty enough for me to order again.

I have been trying to take in the local flavor during my stay in Long Island City. While walking thru the park, I noticed this small crapé truck a few times mostly because there always seemed to be at least a few people waiting, even with other similar trucks within eye shot. After trying the pictured crapé-witch. I now know why there was always a wait! I approached the cart and looked over the menu. The staff could tell it was my first time. The gentleman taking my order was very helpful with recommendations of what would taste well together.I was told me that the bacon generally was not crispy so I went with pork, spam, a hot sauce (which is delicious btw), and they recommended some cabbage to give it some texture, which it sure did! I almost attempted to eat it on the way back, as it smelt delicious! I thought better of the idea. Even though it was served neatly, I could definitely see the masl getting out of control if I was walking in eating at the same time. At the first bite, I first noticed. The texture was soft but also crisp... then the taste explosion! It was definitely a delicious sandwich. There's so many toppings to choose from. I'm sure I'll be back soon. I can really recommend this truck for anyone who wants something a little different but also familiar at the same time, delightful contrast!

JB (jianbing, chinese style savory crepe) is like crack to me. Knowing this JB cart serves two distinct style of JBs - Jing style and your regular one, I had to come try it. By now, I've probably visit this food truck once every month or so, as it really adds more variety to the food scene here in LIC The JBs are fluffy, hot, crunchy, umami, and packed with flavors. Decently priced at ~$7-8 per JB without any additions, although you can add additional toppings to it. The JBs in flushing are definitely going to be cheaper than what they serve here, but for the convenience in LIC it definitely is a good addition to the neighborhood. Corgi jianbing doesnt show up everyday so make sure to check their time tables and schedule before making a visit. You can also order ahead online so they can prep for it first for you to quickly pick it up. PSA - Who doesn't love a food truck plastered with Corgi decor?

Located by other food trucks. Lots of options!! I liked the one I got with pork floss and Turkey. It also had spicy sauce. Would def recommend!! Def eat it while it's fresh and hot!

This was my first time trying Jianbing and I've heard such good things from this spot so I had to try. My partner and I ordered 3 to try different combos. My first impression is that it's not my favorite. Maybe it was the particular combos that I got or my own tastebuds, but it's not something I would rave about. I thought it was also pretty expensive. The portions are pretty large, but not enough to justify $15 in my opinion. I would recommend others to try for themselves. Their hours are not updated on google, so I took a picture of what's on the food truck!

Was looking for a brunch option and found this stall on Yelp! My partner and I ordered a jing-style jianbing (JB) w turkey ham & pork floss combo, and an original-style JB w build your own toppings - TASTE: 4/5 - my jing-style JB hit the spot with the pork floss and an extra egg. The original-style was tasty too, w some spice coming through in the sauce TEXTURE: 4/5 - the textures were really complementary, from the soft egg exterior, to the crisp folds of the crepe in the middle, and the pork floss filling PRICE: 3/5 - I expected prices to range more in the $8-12, so thought these were a little expensive at $14-15 each SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - decent portion for a street breakfast on the go SERVICE: 4/5 - the signage on the stall explains scanning the QR code, adding your items to checkout, clicking the Pay in Store button, showing the order # to the folks at the register, then paying via Venmo. We waited 10min and ate our food on the outdoor tables in Rafferty Triangle ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - the stall was smaller than I expected, but you can't miss it TAKEOUT: 4/5 - can't go wrong w a wrapper that has a corgi on it. Our JBs were fresh and hot, so be careful handling them! PARKING: 3/5 - we had parked earlier at another venue and walked 15min over

Had one of the combos there: the portion is quite big, enough for two people. The price is around $16. Good comfort food. The stuff is friendly, and generally has a good vibe. Personally, not a fan of this kind of food, but it was a positive experience!

A jianbing food truck, next to a few seating areas. We ordered the original with an extra egg, bacon, cheese, and corn (a popular combo in Taiwan) and a jianbing with an extra egg, pork floss, beef sausage, and a little bit of the spicy sauce for flavor! Portions were big and were very tasty! Definitely a cute spot to visit in Long Island City.

The hours on Yelp are incorrect, Google maps is more accurate and the owners post updates there about temporary closures. The cart is located across the street from the CUNY law building outside Rafferty Triangle, where there is seating if you'd like to eat nearby. The order system is admittedly little confusing: a sign on the cart encourages you to scan a QR code and order via Chowbus but still pay at the cart, there's also a QR code to pre-order via WeChat, and some people like me just line up to order. The menu on the side of the cart however is very easy to read. I went on a Wednesday around noon and the cart was crowded but not unreasonably slow for a two man operation producing one crepe at a time. It took 5-10 minutes for me to be able to order, and then no more than 15 for them to call my number. The customer in front of me was told her wait would be 25 minutes, I suggest waiting in the park or making a quick run to one of the three bubble tea spots within a 5 minute walking distance, as both her and my order were done faster than estimated. My jing jianbing with an extra egg and beef sausage was $12.50, you can pay by cash Venmo, or Zelle. The food was excellent and it was still almost too hot when I got home 15 minutes later. Without this cart I think the nearest jianbing places are Chinatown or Flushing (available via Chowbus but delivery is expensive), so I'm very happy it's here. Shoutout to the local instagram corgi who posted a picture with the cart that let me know it was in the neighborhood.

I wanted to try this place for soooo long but the price isn't worth the quantity you get. They up charge for everything so my meal was like $15 for a decent but not overly satisfying meal. Fillings were skimped... I think they should lower their price and add more filling.

The best food truck in LIC, maybe even New York. It's easy to order and the food is delivered relatively quickly. The bings are sensational - order the pork floss, ham, sausage with 3 eggs and you can never go wrong. These people really know how to make a Bing! I love to order a Bing on the weekend and eat it in the warm sun at the tables right in front of the truck. It's a MUST TRY if you're in LIC during their operating hours.

This place is great but extremely overpriced. You're looking to spend $15 for a jianbing which is good but astronomical.

We stumbled upon this cute little food truck after getting Dunkin Donuts nearby. The owner and staff are both super friendly and explained the menu to us. We ordered the classic jian bing with an extra egg, beef sausage, and lettuce. The spicy sauce is so good, and not too spicy so definitely ask for it. It was cool to watch them make it in front of you too. The portion is pretty big, reasonable for the price. Jian bing was crisp and the flavors were on point. Definitely would get it again!

Food is okay but expensive for what you get . Ordered online and then called and they said it would take 25 mins. I go there after 30 mins and they didn't even start making it. Said I should've called to ask how long it would take (which i did). Overall I would say it's okay and worth a try.

Corgi Jianbing is a modernized jianbing. It's the best I think you can get in LIC. It differs from jianbing you might find at Flushing street vendors like Eight Jane in that it has a greater selection of fillings, and a different batter. I'd say the batter has a more slightly sweet tinge, and the filling is more robust. The hot sauce is a little less spicy. Personally, I prefer the traditional style found in Flushing stalls, but being right downstairs from Hayden (across the triangle from Foodcellar), Corgi Jianbing is somewhat tempting on Saturday mornings. The owners are also very friendly. Here's hoping they offer a ~$5 'basic' jianbing and save my wife and I weekend breakfast runs to Flushing :)

One of the better 煎饼 I've had in the US - I was a bit confused by the menu though, as some of their recommended topping combos ended up being too Western for my liking - I'd suggest just selecting the particular toppings you like instead of going with the preselected combinations. Also the Yelp deal is stale, and they didn't seem to carry the free Soy Milk anymore?

A very special food cart. Corgi offers up delicious JianBings with toppings to your liking. The original is already so good! It's filled with egg, scallions, fried cracker, sesame, Chinese pickle and a special sauce. You are welcome to add other items like Bacon, Sausage, Pork Floss, and other items, but I like to keep it simple. This food truck is conveniently located right outside the Hayden Building and across the street from Food Cellar. The best way to order from Corgi's is to make sure that you add them on WECHAT and order before hand. You do not want to have to wait in line because it could get a little long. When I ordered for the first time, this was truly a lesson learned. Last tip. They will sell out around 3PM-4PM so be sure to get your JianBing fixens before they run out. Cheers! Grade: A

Really great place, and friendly owner. Delicious topping and great soy milk. Only takes Venmo or cash. Prices on the high end, but will be returning. Really tasty. I would come here every day if my wife would let me.

I tried it for the first time today; I can't compare with how it is in China because I never had the chance to try but this is so good!! I saw reviews of how it is pricier but I feel like everything in LIC is at this price point or higher. The truck is really cute and I was honestly drawn to it cus I love corgis haha. The portion of the jianbing was really filling for me, and the flavors were so good! Unfortunately by the time I went, they ran out of avocado and bacon. Will definitely come back to try again :)

Delicious ! My first time having Corgi Jianbing and I got the spam and eggs. The wrap reminds me of crepe like texture (I love crepe) and it is wrapped with your choice of meat and served with fried eggs and scallions with Hoisin sauce. So savory! I can't wait till their food truck open again. Also! They have this delicious soy milk that you must try.

Jian Bing with an America touch. For local Jian Bing this is the only option and I happen to like it better than the traditional. (Well as traditional as you can get in Flushing.) Being non-Chinese I can only speak for my North American palate, and this version of Jian Bing with toppings certainly hits the spot. I add bacon, and it's great. If you've never had Jian Bing I would describe it as an wrap based hot sandwich where the wrap it self makes a good part of the meal. The wrap is made like a crepe with green bean and millet flower, partially cooked and then an egg cracked and mixed it. It usually has a crispy fried ingredient like fried dough, or wonton like crisp. Inside also includes green onion, and a sauce (not spicy). That as it or with toppings added or removed makes a great start to the day. Avoid the line and order in advance for pickup is the best option. See you guys next weekend.

Best jianbing in nyc! Has the authentic feel of a jianbing made in China, but also has enough variety in fillings to experiment with when in the mood. All that is missing is the mascot itself. Waiting to meet the lucky corgi one day

The best jianbing I've ever had for awhile

I've been coming here for months with my coworkers and the food is not only super fresh but taste great. The two guys who work here are also super friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I will no longer be working in LIC but if you are a local or work nearby you should definitely check them out.

This spot is da my only complaint is that it is only open on Saturday. I wish I could eat it more often!

Jianbing 煎饼 is China's version of a savory crepe. A thin pancake with a cracked egg, scallions, cilantro, sweet sauce, two fried crackers, and verity of topping choices. One of my all-time favorite foods and always brings back memories of growing up in Shanghai

Delicious!! The best part for me was that it really did taste healthy. It wasn't overly oily, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was still filling. Love that it's right outside my apartment and accepts card/venmo. Only downside is that they're a small operation so it can take a while to make if there's a crowd. I would just put in my order then get coffee and come back.

Love this Jianbing place soooo much! Have been there every Saturday for almost a year. Last year there's only few good restaurants around Lic, this place made my Saturday haha. Hope you guys can open for more days!!!!

They have really good Chinese JianBing. Owners are friendly too. You just have to order it ahead to avoid waiting on the street.

I am so glad I stumbled upon this cute little cart in the neighborhood, Corgi Jianbing is a must try in LIC! It's a savory crepe Chinese style, a very popular breakfast item in China. The topping varieties are great, you'll most likely have to mix and match several times to find your faves and you really can't go wrong with any combos. The soy milk completes the meal. It's cash/Venmo only for now. You can pre-order from the owner on WeChat and I highly recommend that, the toppings sell out fast! Give it a try and see for yourself, you won't regret it!

First time trying this food truck and I loved it! I live nearby so it is in a very convenient location and the wait time for the food was reasonable (about 20 minutes). The Jian Bing was tasty, I would definitely come back!
