Best Restaurants Near Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium | Eater LA

"Directly across the street from the SoFi complex, Cork & Batter can be a busy venue during event days. Depending on the calendar, the crowds are sipping on colorful cocktails on any of Cork & Batter’s three floors, including the rooftop with views of the SoFi complex and YouTube Theater, and a block away from the Intuit Dome. The restaurant is open all day long (but does fill up quickly) and serves chicken wings, nachos, a smash burger, flatbread pizzas, a Philly cheesesteak-inspired slider, a vegan pasta primavera, and more." - Mona Holmes

First time here. Parked at Sofi and then walked over, very crowded but got seated quickly, roof top seating was full, so unable to get up there. Friendly server, Amber was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were great, prices of everything were fair, large menu, had a vegetarian friend who ordered an “impossible burger” they brought her a bean patty, and then refused to discount our menu even though it wasn’t what they advertised, little disappointed in that. Otherwise maybe give it another try, but lots of places in the area as well. Bathrooms were connected to a hotel which was unique. Clean but very limited so there were lines.

Google
Splendid everything was splendid. The restaurant manger Chris introduced himself while I was waiting to be seated, he gave me the alternative of going up the stairs or in the elevator. I chose the elevator he and his staff catered to all our needs if the sun was shining too much in our area, he handled it the food was on par with the service. Absolutely delicious and talk about those drinks. We got a tree of. Patron with four different flavored lil bottles with straws. It looked so cute and the flavors were to die for my personal favorite was the prickly pear. I never expected it to be so good. We have vowed with everything that we love to go back there. We were seated upstairs. We had a nice view. The ambience was nice. We had our pictures taken, and honestly, we laughed so hard that we cried such an amazing experience.

Google
First time here. Staying at the hotel so this was a convenient place to grab a bite before check in. I’m not from the area so I’m not sure if pricing is inline for the area but I thought it was a little pricey but the happy hour was nice and the food was yummy! Also our server was very nice and helpful with food choices! Good thing to note is roof top seating is by reservation only.

Google
Food was delicious! We came in at noon and it was a bit empty, but I'm sure this is a great spot for drinks before a concert or sporting event. Would come back again.

Google
The food here is hands down delicious!!! I was honestly shocked because for a sports bar, the chefs are really throwing it down. From the shrimp pasta (still dreaming about it) to their jambalaya to their green goddess salad, spicy tuna crispy rice, and even the shishito peppers! Everything was absolutely delicious. For drinks I highly recommend their lavender martini! dangerously good! The service here started off strong with a friendly welcome when we came in but we felt a bit neglected once we got upstairs to our table. Luckily we ordered fairly quickly and food came out fast, but almost felt like a bother. Also need to double check the hours because upstairs seemed to close up pretty early around 7:30-8pm on a Tuesday. I'm sure because there was a game at intuit dome, they responded to that so giving benefit of the doubt there. I still plan to come back with friends because it is super cute and the food is too good. There is valet parking which was super convenient especially with the busyness of the game.

Google
It was my first time there. I was there for a work event on the second floor. The bar tenders and the hostesses were all very good and awesome 👌. They were very accommodating. The food was good too. They served us pasta, broccoli, chicken, Carne asada, mashed potatoes, and a fabulous salad. The atmosphere was nice, especially being next to Sofi and Intuit staiums.

Google
This is one of the few places that I actually get to give 5 stars to all the way around atmospherous, great food was great, absolutely surprised from beginning to end, the hostess at the front door really did her thing after finding out that she has to walk up the stairs. All day long,

D M

Google
It was my first time and I will say it was truly enjoyable. I loved every minute of the experience. Even though the rooftop was not open today as it was a weekday. I want to give a special shout out to Philip, the host and Sophia the bartender they tended to us as well as all others as if we were VIP we were there for hours drinking and eating just because of their care and kindness!

Yelp
Chose this place to meet with a friend for lunch (1:30pm) and surprisingly, it's was still breakfast (no complaints here. I love breakfast food lol). My friend and I decided on the French toast and a with a side of eggs. We also decided to share a side of potato tots. I ordered the lavender martini. The french toast and lavender martini were really good. I would recommend it. The eggs were eggs and the potato tots, potato tots lol. Still good though. The service was good. No complaints. The staff were friendly. Very Spacious and airy location. The music was def too loud, like to the point where it was difficult conversing. Also, unfortunately, parking is an issue esp if you're not comfortable with valet. I highly recommend using Uber/lyft.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Food options were good, including vegan and vegetarian as well. My only negative was part of the customer service. They sat my friend and I almost immediately which was great but our server was rude and never refilled our water cups. My friend who was visiting from out of town was simply asking for suggestions and was immediately shut down by the servers attitude and response. She offered no help and simply asked us to let her know when we were ready to order. As an Inglewood local I was really hoping to like this place but that definitely left a sour taste :(

Yelp
So I will begin this review with pure dissatisfaction! I'll give you a heads up because you need it. This restaurant is next to a hotel which means foot traffic. You park at the hotel and it's only Valet which we paid $12 for only 40 minutes. And the valet guy didn't even park our car because he didn't know how to operate our Tesla. So we parked it!!! Now the restaurant, decor is ok. I did hate the seating area. I don't want to sit on a couch and small coffee table to eat ! I need a regular table with chairs. Our food came out at a decent time. But we had a movie to watch so we didn't have too much time. We literally waited 30 minutes for our check. And when I presented the YELP 15% discount from the app, the server said only the manager could authorize that. So we had to wait for him to get there. Ridiculous!!!!!! I had to request for the manager 3 times. He finally came and gave us the check with our discount. Only one server !!! Not good service at all! I won't be returning!

Yelp
1. The food was very mid, the whipped ricotta could use a nice honey drizzle over the top it was super bland (I'm a professional chef and that's what I would've done) The truffle parm wings were ok, the sauce was good but the chicken meat kinda taste a little weird maybe like it coulda been cooked a little bit longer not sure. It was pink it just taste a little weird. 2. The whole point in having a hot new rooftop restaurant in INGLEWOOD ......is the ROOFTOP!!!! this is the third time I've come here anticipating the rooftop vibes and was disappointed again and felt it was a wasted trip overall. Probably will never come back because I don't want to risk the roof being closed again. Los Angeles is huge on rooftop vibes and Inglewood has never had that experience so why offer it then keep it closed all the time. Very disappointing. Especially because the bottom floor is more set up like a hotel lobby not a restaurant. P.S. the one positive aspect of my experience was Milan she gave great service and she was so friendly!!!

Yelp
The two stars are only for the woman hustling working the host stand, serving the entire bar and dining area. AND the amazing burger and cocktails. They need MUCH more servers, bartenders and hosts. They also should train their bussers NOT to take ($20!) unfinished cocktails away when a patron leaves to use the restroom. And should that happen there should be at least some sort of acknowledgment, apology and or discount of such a mistake. There was ZERO POINT ZERO. I think the staff are just overworked tbh. Would I come back? Probably not. Definitely not, if *I'm* paying. Sad because I heard this place was black owned which is why I went on Juneteenth. Do better for your people!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the service was okay. We were a bit late getting to the restaurant and the rest of the party had already eaten. It took us some time to get menus but once we ordered our food came out in good time. The atmosphere was nice, there is upstairs and downstairs seating with bars on both levels. There is valet parking available as well.
google avatar

Yelp
This establishment is located right across the street from the Sofi stadium. It has limited parking and I believe most of it is valet. But the inside is very spacious as it is 2 to 3 levels, and it is very modern. We had reservations for 930 and at around 945 as I was waiting for the rest of my party. I was informed that the kitchen was closing and then a few minutes later I was informed that they will be closing at around 10 due to it being slow. I do understand slow in a business, but I think it was very unprofessional for them to just sporadically decide to close when they had more people coming in and people that were willing to spend money. I don't have much to say about the food as I didn't get to try any , I did take a look at the menu and they do seem to have a decent selection. But all I got to have was a drink, but perhaps I will go back to give it another shot.

Yelp
Pull into the hotel parking lot two driveways before the restaurant or you will miss the $10 valet parking. Only the bottom floor was open. It was chilly inside and we were sat in a corner. The decor was an industrial chic and the furniture seemed hogpodge; didn't match. We ordered off of the happy hour menu (before 6 PM) with selections of $6 and $9: lemon pepper wings, siracha wings, waffle fries and sliders. Ordered more sliders and "gourmet street tacos", bread pudding and margaritas. Everything tasted good but I the siracha wings and taco didn't have much flavor. Rogelio and the manager appeared to be our servers. Both were nice but didn't seem to have much energy.

Went for a quick brunch with some co workers and it was really nice, recommend doing the week

Yelp
After finally trying Cork & Batter I can say this is a fairly decent spot to dine at. It's smack dab across the street from Sofi so it's very "in-the-mix" of things. PARKING is horrible because they will force valet your car so if you are a local I'd urge you to just uber. They charged me $20 for parking on a Thursday afternoon. The atmosphere was nice and comfy. It's a fairly smaller space. Very intimate. Anywho, the food was tasty. We really enjoyed the fried calamari and the nachos. My Philly Cheesesteak bites were good and messy. The Truffle Fries do not truly have truffle in it: they were okay. My Lavender Lemon Drop w/ Tequila was tasty but I have to agree with previous reviews.... It does not taste like Lavender. My friend's chicken sandwich was overcooked and she did not like it, unfortunately so we did not photograph that. Our server was a sweet heart, btw. Kiara

Yelp
Chicken and waffles is 5 nuggets on 2 soggy eggo waffles Croissant sandwich also dry. All coffee came out lukewarm to cold....parking is valet only as well. Service also lagged and forgot one of our party's entire order, which they made quickly. Ambiance feels like they are trying to be trendy. Photographers were trying to sell us photos of our soggy eggos.

Yelp
This review is long overdue... I'm glad I gave this place another try! I came here on a Monday it was pretty busy, I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted my the bartender Milan. She was very attentive and made our drinks pretty good. The skirt steak is the best. This place is definitely a vibe.

Yelp
We had a great time! Cork & Batter is a 3 Story Sports Bar with the CUTEST rooftop ! Food was 10/10. We ordered so many things from the happy hour menu & everything was so yummy. Plus great service from our waitress! This rooftop sports bar is such a vibe! Located right by Sofi Stadium, definitely a MUST visit!! Dishes: Crispy Wings Corn Ribs Nachos w/ Steak Buffalo & Thai Chili Truffle Fries Potatoe Fries 2 Mini Smashburgers Fried Calamari Drinks: Guava Margarita Defintely will be coming back
google avatar

Randi L.

Yelp
Incredibly overhyped! I will admit that TikTok and Instagram do a great job advertising this place. The food is terrible...worst burger I've had. I ordered a margarita when the server first arrived and didn't receive it until I was finished with my appetizer and entree.. I had to ask where it was. I also wasn't seated on time for my 5 pm reservation. I was asked when making my reservation last week if there was an occasion in which I responded that it's my dad's birthday but they did nothing for it, so why even ask? How sad. I definitely won't be back, it's loud in here, chaotic, and you have to pay $10 to valet for low quality food and service. Never ever again!
google avatar

Rita C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Establishment is great. Parking is terrible and by valet only. Our waitress had an attitude. Fix the attitude.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
I am reviewing the phone etiquette of the hostess at this restaurant today, June 12th, between 6 and 7 pm. I called to inquire about making a reservation and after getting reassurance that I would get help, the lady who answered placed me on hold until after 15 minutes when I finally gave up. The second time I attempted to call, the same lady answered and said she was unable to hear me, and placed me on hold so she could get to a better spot. I stayed on the line for 5 minutes just to see if she would be gracious enough to get back on the line. While I understand that places are busy, just say you're unable to assist at this time or better yet, just let the phone ring. I have never encountered phone customer service as bad as this. I'll gladly take my business somewhere else. ‍

Vilma O.

Yelp
I have to say, I've tried a lot of restaurants and I don't understand the hype! I came in with some friends for dinner. I ordered the steak & frites and it was overcooked and bland. I also ordered an espresso amp martini and I waited over 30 mins for it. The ambience is a bit loud. Very LA vibe. If you're looking for a place to just grab a drink and go, this would be more the vibe. Definitely not for dinner

Yelp
Probably the coolest place to stop before hanging around the Forum , So Fly or Intuit Area. Service was amazing . Leon came through with a hustle and a sense of urgency thats unmatched. Once our food arrived we were without a seat and stumbled on to two bar seat and Linda hit us with shared plates and napkins before i could even ask. We wanted to watch a dodger game that was currently on and Andy with out hesitation made us feel like we were at home.
google avatar

Bridgette P.

Yelp
I have been here a couple of times and the ambiance is very cool and while the menu is limited the food is tasty but I will say the service is lacking. Very hard to get the wait staff attention and they are quick to standardize higher tipping on the payment screen so you would have to actively decrease the tip from 20%, when you don't get 20% tip service
google avatar

Sophia W.

Yelp
The roasted chicken dinner was delicious the service was great and the manager Gabriel was great he took us on a tour of the rooftop even though it was closed. We really appreciated it!! Thanks we will be back soon.
google avatar

Billie B.

Yelp
The food, the service, the vibe-absolutely amazing! My bf and I are visiting and we were looking to eat at a black owned restaurant and fell upon this place. We believe the prices were reasonable (for LA lol) and the food had us wanting to order more! We ordered the margarita tree, Mac and cheese & birria tacos as appetizers and for the main course we had the chicken sandwich and burger. So good!
google avatar

Yelp
While in town, my hubby and I took my parents to dinner. Wanted to try this place but it needed to be a weekday as it's gets busy and can be a lot for older parents. Service was great and I had a reservation. My mother and I both ordered the shrimp pasta which came with toast. My father had the fish and chips which he felt was good but expressed it was more batter than fish and my hubby had the chicken sandwich which he said was amazing and well flavored. Ambiance is like a sports bar/ restaurant that can be busy and loud. I can imagine this would be everything on game day and is attached to the hotel. Down fall for us was parking- you can only valet. Not too bad but bc of this it takes forever to park so arrive early if you have a reservation. Will come back.

Yelp
Me, my wife and my wife parents had dinner at cork and batter. We were seated immediately and the server was friendly and very knowledgeable. I had the Caesar salad and the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The Caesar salad was delicious and the dressing was great. The chicken sandwich was really delicious and the fries were cooked to perfection. The ambiance is customer friendly and very upbeat.

Amber S.

Yelp
We had the best dinner at Cork & Batter! We were a little early for our reservation, Marcus at the host stand got us situated in the lounge area with drinks while we waited on our table. Our waitress, Amber, was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Dealing with a party of 8 can be difficult, but she handled us with ease! The food was all very good, and the drinks were delicious. The music was upbeat and fun. Highly recommended Cork & Batter!
google avatar

Kandece B.

Yelp
Visited with some friends at cork and batter for Juneteenth. Parking was tight but they had a private valet lot in the back. It was a nice crowd and not alot of staff available. We waited for a while and then we were helped. The waitress let us know she was the only one attending the area so we would have to be patient. She took our order and we received our items afterward. I ordered a blt with avocado but it was mostly mayo, with some bacon and lettuce. Not worth the $15. My friends enjoyed the tacos, shrimp and calamari but they were hungry so Im unsure how tasty. We also received another tables order because they were just delivering food to tables quickly because they were backed up.

Yelp
We were finding a place to eat before a comedy show at the forum. Our friend found this place and it was actually delicious! My Buffalo chicken sliders were super yummy! We really enjoy ourselves with the energy in the room! Great customer service! And there is security guards everywhere so I felt really safe definitely will come back again if I'm ever in town!
google avatar

Yelp
It was a mid time for all. I was there with friends and we put our name on the list to be texted when a table was ready. We were told it'd be an hour. A cool 15 min. later my friend misses the text that the table was ready. This happened twice. Ordered nachos and after waiting like 30 min. for them I found out that they were out of nachos. Our waiter let us know after someone else already had, and then I asked for what menu I wasn't offered. Our waiter.. felt new to this, Respectfully. My Beyond Burger was fine, and my friend hated her pasta. Wings were reportedly nothing to write home about. Drinks weren't well crafted, but did what they aimed to do. We'll go elsewhere in the future.
google avatar

Tae G.

Yelp
This is a nice, clean spot good for watching a game, grabbing a small bite or for a group get together in the upstairs rooftop lounge. The ambiance is chill, cute and casual. Food was better than I expected. My girls and I ordered a variety of items...Buffalo chicken sliders, cauliflower tacos, broccolini, fries, Caesar salads, etc. I thought the margarita trees were larger than they are, but they got the job done. I didn't like the pear flavor, however. Parking is horrible, fyi.
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
I love the reviews and was making this the spot to eat tonight; however, the parking was a JOKE! Didn't even get in, have to go through the small hotel on a busy road, and paying for valet. Smh, need to figure the parking out seriously or move locations so more people can try to enjoy.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
1. If you're staying at the hotel, this is NOT one of those run in and run out spots! Unless you go early I suggest to be dressed properly! I found out the hard way! It's gonna be packed on the weekends. Like a get in where you fit in kind of place Jamahl is a great bartender! Very attentive!! There's another female bartender (I forget her name) who was great too! She has thee strongest arms lol Now to food... baby. Delicious! That pizza- OMG! Fresh cheese and highly flavorful! Steak- BANG! Okay, I just wish I had MORE of it! Chicken wings were good as well! I wish I took photos of everything but the way those drinks were set up, I forgot! Rather you're in the area visiting or a local- YES

Yelp
Cork & Batter....ohhh I had such high hopes for my first experience here. Let me just say that it is very "lively." I came around 5:30 on a Thursday and I did not have a reservation. The hostess informed me that it would be a short wait. I proceeded to give her my contact info. I later asked about the seating upstairs. She said that they were not seating anyone upstairs ‍. Umm that's what we came here for...the ambiance of the rooftop. Service: mediocre. The young ladies could use some coaching on being more friendly and checking on customers. We did not get served water and the service was slow. Menu: Happy hour ends at 5:00. I'm not sure what professions get off before 5, so this clearly isn't targeting the classy professionals who would actually come and patronize the business AND perhaps stay after happy hour to indulge in more libations. Instead, there was a ratchet crowd leaving the restaurant as I arrived. Clearly this clientele was only there for happy hour and then made a loud exit to the next spot. Food: the food is the saving grace for my experience. It is the only reason I will come back. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly! My sister is vegan and had the vegan burger- she enjoyed it. My brother in law had the steak flatbread - he enjoyed it as well. I plan to visit again. Next time I will make a reservation and specify the rooftop. You should also know that valet at the hotel (former motel) is $7.00. Oh, and if you like extremely sweet drinks, you will love the Patron margarita tower. I hate sweet drinks and will stick to sipping tequila on the rocks!
google avatar

Tatianna L.

Yelp
I would've given 5 stars bit the wait was so long I barely ate my food! The food was good just know you'll be waiting so please don't arrive hungry. My friend and I had the chicken and waffles with about 4 Pineapple Mimosas! Will be back the ambience is chill and I sang every song playing.

Yelp
1. The location for this place is terrible. Parking sucks. There's no where to park except for the area they specifically rent out for valet overflow so you'll likely get towed by the restaurant. 2. The ambiance is WAY too loud to sit and enjoy a meal and conversation. We could barely hear our server. 3. The service is sub par. I was waiting at the bar for almost 10 minutes as soon as I came in watching at least 4 people casually wiping glasses. No greeting. 4. We weren't seated at a table, we sat in what looked like a lounge/waiting area. Suitable for drinks but not dinner. 5. We were greeted by our server with a whole song and dance about the menu. Didn't bother asking us what we liked or whether or not our group was even able to drink. 6. The food was decent. 7. There's a photographer roaming around taking pics and will try to sell you the framed print.

Yelp
Made reservations because it's close to YouTube theater, but will return even without a game or concert. Reservation was honored on time, but the restaurant has 3levels, so you may need to specify where you want to eat: the rooftop bar (best for appetizers, which you could easily make into dinner), the mezzanine restaurant, or the ground-level room, which is more of an upscale sports bar with a mix of high and low tables. We were seated at a long, high table near the kitchen door, which was actually pretty private for most of the night. Ordered the chicken chunks (recommend the Thai chili sauce) and was surprised that these really were "chunks", not just chicken fingers with a marketing spin for the menu. Steak tacos were great, plenty of lean meat and everything (onion, cilantro, sauce) brought on the side for you. Skirt steak was also good, with perfectly cooked broccoli and fries. Good wine list covers the "usuals" plus Tempranillo and Malbec, most available by the glass or bottle and reasonably priced ($12-$15/glass for unusually generous pours, or ~$45/bottle). Highly recommend the White Peach margarita as well! Service was outstanding, not high-pressure where you feel pushed to "order, already!", but everything came out very quickly; they use not just food-runners but bar-runners, which I'm not sure I've noticed at other places. The restaurant is attached to a boutique hotel so parking is exclusively valet ($10) but reasonable compared to the SoFi neighborhood. We walked over from stadium parking, about a mile downhill, but took a quick rideshare back as it was dark and much cooler after dinner (about $20, same as we'd have spent for valet).
google avatar

Yelp
avoid, they will add random up charges to your bill and act confused when you question them. The crispyt tuna rice (my usual safe option) was the worst i've ever had in life. I sent it back and they took $3 off....I had to argue with a very rude white manager TWICE after they charged my beverage incorrectly and for me (a black woman) to come to a place mainly because it was "black owned" felt very fraudulent and performative. i won't be back.
google avatar

Holly M.

Yelp
This place was a good stopping place on the way to the sofi stadium. There isn't much too choose from in this area so I would suggest to go here before an event. Good atmosphere and it has 3 levels including a roof top even though we didn't go up there. The service was slow but it was extremely busy since there was a game. The wait staff were super nice. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time. The food was good and came out quickly but by the time our drinks came we were almost done with our food. They brought us two extra beers since it took so long so a higher rating was given. I'd go back for the drinks and food. The michelada was really tasty!

Yelp
This restaurant is nestled right next to a hotel and across the street from the Hollywood Park Casino. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a Valet attendant and when I asked if the lot had parking for the restaurant, he said yes. I later found out that it was actually valet for the hotel and the valet parking for the restaurant is BEHIND the restaurant and not in front. He charged us $15, when the restaurant valet parking is $10. Who makes a fuss about $5 extra dollar? Ummm this girl who is trying to preserve her coins as much as possible in a recession! Anywho, this is one reason why I took a star off, because they need to be more clear about the valet and not try to get more money out of customers who don't know. Next I'll discuss why I took another star off, the staff. The waitresses and waiters were all dressed in clothing you wouldn't typically see of an establishment. Some were okay, but others dressed like they were going to the club. I almost second guessed if they even worked there or not until I saw them take orders. Very unprofessional on management's behalf. I will note that the waitress India was very sweet and asked if we wanted water while we waited for our party to arrive. She is partially the reason why I gave 3 stars. Thank you for your service India! Lastly, the food was the other reason for the 3 stars. It was good, some dishes better than others. My steak and potatoes was excellent, but the shrimp pasta was too watery and needed more seasoning. I would come back to try other dishes but definitely not on a weekend when it's pandemonium. I did like the decor at the bar and the music they played was early/mid 2000's so that was a cool vibe. So if you're looking for a more laid back, anything goes, kind of restaurant...this is it!

Yelp
My recent visit to Cork and Batter left me with mixed feelings. While the ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and the drink menu offered a good selection, there were several aspects of the experience that fell short. Firstly, the parking situation was atrocious, causing unnecessary frustration before even entering the restaurant. Once inside, I found the presence of three security guards at the front door to be quite offputting, especially for a restaurant setting. Our waiter, unfortunately, did not contribute positively to our experience. Despite celebrating a birthday with a group of six people, their demeanor was lacking in friendliness and attentiveness. As for the food, it was disappointingly forgettable. Despite the appealing menu, none of the dishes stood out as remarkable or memorable. In summary, while Cork and Batter has potential with its pleasant ambience and decent drink selection, there are significant areas for improvement, including parking logistics, staff friendliness, and the quality of the food. P.s. Get rid of the photographer harassing customers to purchase a photo while trying to enjoy conversation and their meal.

Yelp
"What a gem of a restaurant! The food was exquisite, and the views from the rooftop were nice. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a good dining experience, this place is a must-visit!"

Yelp
Yeah I'm just gon' go on and keep it all the way real. This place is a "It's a no for me, dawg!" My husband made reservations 2 weeks in advance because we are going to see a concert at the YouTube theater, which is across the street. Pretty much everyone had the same idea because it was crowded, and not to mention it was the kickoff of the NFL season. We waited for about 15 minutes for our table. We wanted to dine on the rooftop but was told there were no tables available. So they seated us on the 2nd floor. We sat there for about 10 minutes when the hostess came and asked us if we were still interested in sitting on the rooftop. We went, and immediately wished we would have stayed on the 2nd floor. My husband is a sports fanatic and they weren't showing the game on the rooftop- only old games. In addition to no viewing of football, seating is more loungey, as opposed to eating comfortably at a table with chairs. We had to eat hunched over, low to the ground....We said, "Never Again". Food was ok. The chicken hunks were too salty for me and my husband's salmon was cooked too well done....Service is slow as heck. There's only valet parking. $10. Oh and don't make the mistake like we did staying in valet while at the concert. Valet will tell you it's s fine to keep you car while you go to SoFi/YouTube theater. But they fail to tell you that it costs $80. Mind you, YouTube was only charging $40. What a scam! Instagram and TikTok had me wanting to check this place out. But I'm good on returning. 2 stars for it being an aesthetically appealing establishment.

Yelp
This place has a young modern look. More for a younger crowd, probably not so much for an older crowd unless you can deal with all the noise and loud music. The staff is very attentive and good with detail, keeping you updated especially when there is a wait. I had a reservation for 11am and we got there about 45 minutes earlier and they were still nice enough to accommodate us. They have a wide variety of food options as well as drinks and 3 different seating areas including the rooftop. They put their won spin on everyday classics and full of flavor and spice. Definitely enjoyed it especially right before kickoff. Maybe about 15 walk from Sofi and parking. I do recommend making reservations though.

Yelp
Heard about Cork & Batter so we decided to give it a shot. We took our daughter for lunch and even though they offer a full menu, the appetizer menu looked very appealing so that's what we opted for. The restaurant is new and features a full bar on the first floor, a very nice second floor for normal dining (closed during our visit) and of course the rooftop bar. We dined on the first floor. The restaurant is part of the LUM (sp) hotel and the entry can be tricky (don't pass it up). You enter just west of the restaurant into THE HOTEL PARKING AREA. Only valet was offered and it was complimentary. I would imagine in time more parking options might be available. Service was good and our appetizers were very tasty. The bar is very nicely appointed. Since it was lunch time we settled for soft drinks. The area is exploding with new businesses to capture the crowd going to Sofi, YouTube theater and the upcoming Clipper's arena. Our visit was positive so we will be visiting again as we had a very nice outing.

Yelp
This spot is the one to go to when you're attending any sort of event at the venues nearby. You have sofi, the forum, and the soon to be clipper arena. The food was high quality. Even the presentation to it was good. The service was okay. We had to continuously ask for assistance instead of being asked if we need anything. It was busy, but still a small detail that got missed. I would work on being a little more attentive. The cocktails are good too. High quality drinks. I will be coming back! NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: we tried booking reservations 7+ days in advance, and was told the online booking system was down. I was referred to the reservation email for reservations, and was told I would hear back from someone. I never heard back. And was told no walk ins were being accepted. I took my chances and went anyway. And got lucky with two seats at the bar. Parking situation was also not the best. I'm sure it's a work in progress tho!

Yelp
Nice alternative spot for the SoFi area but it is a pain to get to the restaurant. And you have to use valet parking, meaning no self parking allowed, unless you are willing to park elsewhere (and off site) which I did. Cork & Batter is located next to the Lum Hotel and also has a small rooftop area with heat lamps. Food is just ok. However, they do make the drinks very strong!

Yelp
The service was not great. Over priced food. In N Out would have been a better option. Nice set up and has potential.

Yelp
The food was just ok, and the ambiance was just ok. I didn't get to go to the roof top because it was closed. So I can't really say. The service was good.

Yelp
Cork & Batter exceeded my expectations with their mouthwatering Cali burger! The combination of flavors was just perfect, and the quality of ingredients truly shone through. Not only was the food delightful, but the atmosphere was also fantastic. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Cork & Batter for anyone craving a delicious meal in a charming environment.

Yelp
I was invited to this location for a birthday brunch. Located in the heart of Inglewood next to a hotel. Valet parking only $10 which is standard pricing. We had a big party of 15 and were seated on the roof top. It was very cold and they had heat lamps. Once we asked if they could be turned on someone eventually came later and it assisted. With big parties the check can only be split three ways. So please be prepared in cash or have that in mind. Drinks on rooftop are only served in plastic cups. I ordered Hot chocolate as i do not drink alcohol. The person taking my order was surprised and said hot chocolate? I replied to her it's here on the drink menu. A long time went by and one of my cousins checked in on my drink. They didn't have hot chocolate. So she came over and I asked for a hot tea. She didn't know they had Hot tea. Asked what type, she asked someone who said I think we only have green tea. Once I received my green tea. It was cold. My cousin ordered a Caesar salad and it took 2 hours to receive it even after other food entrees that required cooking arrived. There were no utensils provided and we had to ask for them. I ordered the Waygu burger and paid extra for truffle Parmesan fries. The burger was good but the fries were cold. A gentleman walked over with a extra side of sweet potato fries and we advised we didn't order them. He came back later with a attitude stating it's on here and someone ordered. I politely replied maybe she hit the plus button too many times but we didn't order it. My other cousin didn't get his burger until it was time to go. His fries were cold. My mushroom pizza dough was cold. Grilled cheese with the tomato cheese deep was good. The price was a little high for a grilled cheese. I had to leave and gave money to cousin to pay. *****PLEASE READ***** When I walked outside some girl ran out after me saying my tab is open and asked if I was sitting at the rooftop. I explained to her that my party is still up there and suggested to her to go up there to get it. I was not only offended but furious!!!! Being a foodblogger I am highly disappointed in the food, service and especially how I was treated when I left. I've seen the hype on social media for this place and wish I had read reviews and given this info to my cousin before she booked this.

Yelp
I give this place 3 out of 5 because it has potential to be better. It's nice looking on the inside is great for girls night out or a date. I didn't like the hostess complaining about getting off work and not working any longer while people are waiting to be seated. The waiter was nice, but the food left more to be desired, I expected more since it is near so many new up and coming land marks like sofi stadium. I was very disappointed in my salad it was called green goddess but had iceberg lettuce. Since it's called green goddess is should have had romaine, spinach, and butter leaf lettuce or any one of those but not iceberg, you can have that anywhere. Also parking is very confusing, make sure you go in the very first driveway not the 2nd or 3rd. There is only valet which is $10. You bring your car in the first driveway and pick it up at the 3rd driveway after paying the valet in the first driveway. (Sounds confusing right) I was so thankful that I wasn't there long and the wonderful and nicest valet left my car in the lot so I didn't have to go down to the 3rd driveway.

Yelp
TLDR: Food is decent and the view is nice, but we likely won't be back. Whipped ricotta -- 6.5/10 It was refreshing but I feel like it needed more love. Presentation is great, I just wish it tasted as good. It wasn't bad though. Philly cheesesteak sliders -- 8/10 This was my favorite thing we ordered. I really enjoyed this. It was a really good Philly cheesesteak. No complaints! Shrimp pasta -- 6.5/10 I always ask for extra sauce but even that didn't save it. The shrimp was flavorful and cooked well, but the pasta was bland and could have used more seasoning. My bf, who isn't as big of a pasta fan as I am, did say he enjoyed this dish. Added a .5 because the shrimp was good. Charred corn ribs -- 8/10 Exactly what you would expect. Which isn't a bad thing at all. Wish it came with more pieces but it was a HH special. Ambiance is great. The spot is very spacious, they had 3 levels. We sat at the rooftop which had a nice view. There was only one server at the top so service was a bit slow. He was nice and did his best so all is understandable on that end. Be sure to use your Yelp discount if you have the offer. Unfortunately, we forgot to tell our server (we waited a long while to pay so it slipped our minds). The manager, Kyle, didn't allow us to claim it and mentioned to use it next time. We likely won't be back again though. We didn't get to try any drinks but they do offer a bunch of fun cocktails! Parking -- valet only.
