Lovely little wine shop and garden. Lauren did a great job educating me on the wines and helped me with a recommendation that was lovely. Pro tip: Go on Sundays for their wine tasting. They feature 3 random wines from their selection.

Beautiful spot to hang out with friends and family. Plenty of shade trees, even in the summer heat. The selection of wines, beers, snacks, is incredible, PLUS you get to enjoy them there or take them home (or both, if I'm honest). Grab pizza from the food truck and make a night of it! The events they host are always great, too, due to the amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Loved this place. It was hot, but I love the vibe. There are fans set up to help you cool down, but they aren’t super effective over large spaces. Great vibe and wine. Will definitely go back in the fall/winter.

Google
Cork and screw is one of my favorite places to go for wine and pizza. Their selection is unmatched and the folks inside the little shop are just so cool and friendly. Last time I went I accidentally bought 7 bottles and a tee shirt and have no regrets about that.

Google
Had the best experience at Cork & Screw. There is a wine shop, shaded outside seating courtyard, and an beautifully eclectic tasting house option. I chose the 5 selection tasting and was very satisfied with the wines as well as the service. Pro tip: Add the charcuterie board!

Google
Great experience with the selection process. Patio area is adorable and provides ice buckets. Parking is down the street in a gravel lot. This place specializes in natural and biodynamic wines

Wanted to start this review by saying I’m a 2nd generation Austin native (south Austin near Brodie), and have lived in the neighborhood directly behind Cork and Screw for 6yrs. For YEARS I was longing for something, anything to pop up around the neighborhood that was walking distance. It’s been a food desert for a minute. With Cork and Screw/ Camp East finally came the answer to my hopes! I bring everyone here! My elderly mom, my clients, friends with children who want a kid friendly environment. Amazing selection of natural wines, the best Vietnamese food in town, and if you’re feeling spicy, you can even get a tattoo! I love love love this place and the hub they’ve created for the community.

Google
It’s a cute spot (wine is kiiiinda pricey, but you’re paying for the experience) and there is a ray of sunshine here, who cosmically, is named is Ray. Follow his recommendations if you want to have the best weekend ever! He’s absolutely amazing. This was our beautiful tasting journey: 👌

Yelp
Such a cute local spot! I have lived in the area for years but never had the pleasure of stumbling across Cork & Screw until this weekend. What a lovely place to sit down and enjoy a bite to eat or buy some wine (or get a tattoo!). Really chill vibes all around and plenty of outdoor seating. I don't know about parking since I walked there, but seems like there is a lot of street parking available, at least! The staff member (can't remember his name!) was so helpful and sweet, as well. I especially love how beautifully organized everything is inside - the plants are such a nice touch!!

Yelp
Cute spot, pretty good selection - and expensive. I came with a small group that bought several bottles over a couple hours. At the end of the evening maybe 15 mins before close I purchased a bottle to go and didn't tip bc I was taking it home. This upset the person who checked me out. They looked me in the eyes clearly mad and I wanted to cry I was so uncomfortable. They promptly followed us out and told all of us it was time to leave and started picking up chairs around us. It wasn't even the top of the hour yet. Will never return.

Yelp
I love this place! The atmosphere is perfect for a chill Friday evening. There's a jazz band, tattoo shop (Elizabeth the tattoo artist is a real one), wine (Ray is a homie as well), and a pizza food truck all in one place. What more could you want?

Yelp
This place has such a chill vibe! It's perfect for a date, hanging with friends, or showing visitors. The backyard has hanging lights which create a very chill ambiance at night. There are a variety of sitting spaces as well, depending on your group size which is convenient. On top of that, they have a solid selection of wine overall. The highlight though is definitely the employees. There were three people working that night and they were all helpful and ridiculously kind. Thanks for making my experience awesome y'all! I 100% recommend this place and will be back soon!

Yelp
This is a cute wine spot east of downtown. They have three small structures in the front - the middle one is where you select your wine. We did not do our research and didn't know you couldn't just get a glass, so we ended up buying a bottle. For perspective, the lowest prices I saw for a bottle was around $38. After purchasing your bottle, you walk around back to the woodsy patio area and grab your own wine glasses and cork screw, etc and then pick your table. I can definitely see how this place would be perfect for a groups of friends. Maybe not a date night unless you plan to polish off a bottle or take it with you. Keep in mind it backs up to the woods, so the mosquitoes were bothersome when we were there. Luckily, we carry bug spray in our car and ran to get it. They have a food truck, Fil N Viet, on site with tasty selections and a pretty good amount of tables. I can see us visiting again with a group of ppl.

Yelp
I love this place. The folks who work here are so amazing and love helping you pick your wine. They have a really great selection and I'm sure anyone can find something they like. The location is excellent and you have a few food trailer options in the yard behind the business. They provide Ice buckets and wine glasses so you can sit the back yard here and relax and drink your wine. Sitting and enjoying a nice Sunday with a bottle of wine on their patio is a prefect experience.

Yelp
Such a cute spot. Amazing ambiance in their outdoor space and their wine shop is full of different selections. The process of this place is a little confusing -- there's a wine shop and a tasting room and they're in separate buildings, and they do not make their own wine. The prices for wine bottles start at around $38...a bit steep, and you have to open it yourself, pour it yourself, etc using the glasses and tools they have in their outdoor space. I'd definitely come back for a tasting or just to enjoy the outdoor space. They do not serve food, but there is a food truck on the premises. Also, parking is abismal so uber!

Yelp
The cutest little wine shop located in East Camp. We decided to eat at Fil N Viet and discovered Cork & Skrew as we saw other patrons going in this little spot by the food truck. They have all sorts of wines to purchase from all over the world. We got a Sauvignon blanc to go with our food. They provide wine glasses and a bucket if needed. It was a great experience and definitely added to our meal at East Camp. I ended up going back in to purchase a Rose to take home. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Susan P.

Yelp
We had a pleasant experience. Selected a chilled rose to accompany our Fil n Viet lunch. Surprised about the negative review. Clean, well curated selection. Helpful team members. Our rose was great with our Lunch. Will be back.

Yelp
Had a Bahn mi here last night that was incredible, as were the wings! Very pretty sitting area outside and you can order wine from Cork & Screw next door and have a very pleasant, shaded, cool meal bordering on romantic yet you don't have to leave the dogs at home.
google avatar

Clint S.

Yelp
After enjoying our food from Phil and Viet, we stopped in for a bottle of wine, and Jessica was our guide. Because we are fans of those from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, we were instantly attracted to the Rose from there. As soon as I asked Jessica about it her eyes instantly lit up, so I knew that we were in for a treat. And certainly enough, it was utterly delicious, and a great capstone to an incredible weekend.

Yelp
Wine was good, cool place. No parking. I parked on the street right by the place and my car got broken into.
google avatar

Ali K.

Yelp
The mark up is severe. It seems like it is a shop but prices are up to what hotels can charge. The wines are decently curated but youre paying way too much without the service of an actual wine bar.
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
This place has plenty of seating and has a fantastic selection of wine. Parking can be tricky, but doable!
google avatar

Yelp
Hard Pass. Wine is okay. Owner is rude. Wouldn't spend my money here. Not authentic to Austin's culture or to the East Side. Cork & Screw wants to appear to be a neighborhood establishment but there's not much neighborly about it.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute outdoor patio space to hang and drink your wine- I appreciate they had a variety of price points, and also that they provide little DIY ice buckets to keep your wine cool while you relax and eat some food from Fil N Viet across the way. A beautiful spring activity! Had a great time and will definitely become a frequent visitor.

Yelp
Cork & Screw is the best wine shop in Austin. Amazing wine selection, awesome staff who are very knowledgeable about their wines, and to top it off a beautiful oasis in the back to enjoy your wine. Highly recommend to stay for a bottle or two.

Sam S.

Yelp
Let's peel away the layers of this bloomin' onion here. The wines are overpriced; hours of operation are inconsistent, and the quality of most of the wine is mediocre at the best. If what you are seeking is a true genuine tasting experience go to LoLo.
