Cork Bar

We came to this spot 3 nights in a row (after 10pm, not during peak season). The servers are all so nice. The food was basic bar food. The drinks were great and strong. I love that the atmosphere was of a traditional bar. And they are open until 2am. We definitely aim to come back.

We were told to go to Cork Bar while staying on the boardwalk and had a great time. Really reasonable prices for drinks. Everyone was really friendly there and good bar staff. Definitely will be back!

2 pool tables, lottery, and alot of historical pics and memorabilia. The cooks are the best, Look for the daily specials. Friendly and safe environment. Handicap parking is also near by with ramps to assist. Also 20ft from the boardwalk. All ♿️ 🙏❤️💪

Me (27) and my girlfriend (23) were vacationing in OCMD and trying to get a good sit down meal on June 5th around 10pm. We couldn’t find any restaurants that were still serving food so someone told us to go to cork, they serve food late. We walked in and immediately The security guard aggressively approached us and told us to get on the other side (21 and under) while the bartender was saying the same thing assuming we were not 21 yet. I told them that I was 27 but I wasn’t even trying to drink… just eat while pulling out my license. The security guard (right on top of me) grabbed my ID and asked why the film was starting to peel off if I’m 21 then. I told him that it was wear and tear so he gave it to the bartender and said my gf was good but to check my ID. The bartender aggressively yelled across the bar.. This came up as an invalid coupon, get out of here. When I said that’s not possible the bartender started acting erratic. I grabbed my ID and we got out of there. Very horrible atmosphere. Iv never had something like that happen to me since Iv been 25. Saying that don’t go there!! All we wanted was to sit down and eat together on our anniversary. We are still confused why a security guard and bartender would act like that that would want business… we are hoping it wasn’t homophobia. We are giving them the benefit of the doubt on that. BUT We ended up at a really great restaurant with great servers and great food. The music was great and the atmosphere was great, very friendly and kind! It was called Pickles Pub !! Only other place that seemed to be open late other than the cork. We loved it so much we were happy that everything happen for a reason! I also asked the Pickles Pub to scan my ID and show me what it says because I was genuinely confused by our last interaction. It had a green check and said verified. Not sure what the bartender at the corks problem was the night of June 5th but hope y’all do better!! Not the way to treat people! Still feel very uncomfortable with the security guard and how on top of us he was and how he was acting. Bartender seemed to be on something or drunk or just highly rude and erratic. Either way do better! Thank you to the Pickles Pub for turning our night around! Great relaxing music and vibes:)

I was visiting from out of state and went to this bar with some friends. After ordering a drink the owner came over and took my drivers license and accused me of it being fake. I am 21 years old and offered to show him another form of identification but he said he didn’t care and cursed at me and yelled at me to get out. They also scratched the drivers license of another person to the point where she had to call the police because her drivers license was ruined. Waste of time to go here

Cork bar is an absolute must for any trip to Ocean City. As a local this is one of my favorite bars in town with a great atmosphere and great people.

It is the Cork Bar. What else needs to be said. If you want a good drink and a great atmosphere, it is the place to go

Coldest beer in OC but was a little disappointed in the wings. Seemed like a totally different recipe for the Ole Bay style than in years past. As always the staff was great

The food here is low key and amazing. Honey BBQ wings are delicious. It's got the best vibe. The bartenders put up with. A lot of ridiculous orders. They do a great job.

Still day (3) of my EC road-trip and made it to Ocean City where my wife had made reservations at the Plim Plaza Hotel. I'll review the hotel later. Checked in around three and strolled around for a while. Had some local beers at a couple places and walked the boards. Soon it was time for dinner. After having tomato pie for lunch, it was time for a cheese-steak. Did not dare to drive anywhere since the hotel parking was at capacity and feared loosing my spot, besides I wanted another beer and didn't want to go to the stripey hole (jail). Walked the strip for a couple blocks each way when I came across The Cork Bar, if nothing else I can get a drink. Sat down and was greeted and handed a menu and asked what I'd have to drink. When on the road I always have a local made brew, not sure what I had but had two. Ordered the cheese-steak with fried onions, comes with fries or tots. I chose the steak fries and they were great. Waiting for my food, a group ladies and couple dudes came in wearing pink, I guess they must have just seen the Barbie movie. I could see this was the place to be when the sun goes down. The food arrived and all looked great and after that first bite, that was it, awesome sandwich. And I'll tell ya why, it was made on an Amoroso roll, the quintessential roll all Philly steaks are made with. You can't call it a Philly Cheese-steak if it's not on a Amoroso roll, it's just a cheese-steak. I finished the whole thing. Afterwards I bought a couple shirts and Mega-million tickets. I did not win. Looking for a Philly, drink and pool...this is the place. Peace.

Came here on the suggestion of a friend! I suggest you Uber! Located right nearly at the start of the boardwalk, in an alley Billy & Sean were AMAZING bartendars! This bar is also in full support of Firefighters ! Dive bar. I had the $3.99 hotdog. No one could tell me if it was beef or not, not even the person on the cooking area lol. Came with fries. Fries were good. Hotdog was good, altho I didn't finish it COLD drinks! Alot of drinks/beers/cocktails/Shots to choose from Plenty of TVs, a jukebox, pool table and seating

From outside it looked a very normal bar , but once I went in, it was just awesome ! Live music !! Yeah .. super awesome music LIVE. Not many places had live music near boardwalk. Service was a bit slow. They had a few beers on tap .. mostly light beers ... not much of IPA options on tap. Had a quick drink z didn't have food . Priced ok. Good location , as it js pretty close to the boardwalk ... 4/5 overall

Someone told me abt this bar as I was on the beach so I checked it out. Very divey. More of a local spot or for those that come to ocean city often. They have two pool tables that I didn't go to because the ppl on the table looked serious lol. Their menu has no prices and their website has no menu. They need to hire someone for marketing for sure because this should be a bangin place right next to the amusement park. Service was good. Bartenders gave me attentions and made sure I was ok. I ordered an orange crush and it was $8.50, typically $9 everywhere else. Once I finished it, I left lol. Not my vibe.

Here for the first time during Oceans calling. Food and drink a quarter of the price than the festival but better quality. This place was slammed but the bar team killed it. Special shout out to Rob, Billy and the bar backs. Oh and football was on everywhere! We will be back!

I'm sure that the owner of the Cork Bar doesn't care about a YELP review; I feel certain that it prints money, great location & nice bartenders... but we will never come back. EVER! We're locals and were in OC for the Ocean's Calling festival- Saturday afternoon on our way to the show, we stopped by the bar, had a couple of drinks, played some music, did some singing & a couple of shots with people at the bar & tipped generously. We talked after we left, that the Bar reminded us of some places that we like to frequent in New Orleans, and that we would come back. Then we went to the show, saw an act, then thought we'd come back to the Cork Bar, while they were setting up the headliner. This time there was a bouncer checking ID's at the door. My wife didn't have an ID with her & the bouncer said that there were no exceptions- now I think that my wife looks pretty good for her age, but she is 65! SIXTY FIVE! Few people would have considered her appearing underage. I understand that a "policy" is a policy, or was it just a small-minded, minimum wage employee chasing away 2 customers for life?

We stopped by because we were thirsty and will come again. Super friendly and efficient bartender. Good selection of draft beers and each time we were given a new frosty mug. Didn't try food but saw kitchen making hand formed beef burgers and what was coming out of kitchen looked good. It was nice that the volume wasn't too loud so we could have a conversation.

Well we tried to get into the bar but it overly crowded and made us too worried about Covid issues so we left This bar must have had 200 people in there The band was loud and people were singing with them We did find free parking at the boardwslk

Decent prices and good food. I went in with a friend last week during the evening. It wasn't super busy and the bartenders were super friendly and always there when we needed a refill. The old bay wings were huge!

Food was great and they do have the coldest beer! Service was excellent! Highly recommend

Part of the usual swing in the 2019 Jimmy Litz Tour - we stopped here and settled in. Didn't get a chance to drink anything on this trip as Davis and I just sat and contemplated our lives. Great spot - low pressure, regular folks just getting turnt without trying to prove something. Try a grape bomb- and the prices are perfect for the area.

Good cheesesteak sliders. Good fried pickles. Good for late night eats. We were hungry around 10pm Memorial Day weekend in OC and it seems the town goes to sleep and most restaurants are closed. Thankfully Cork Bar was open.

Cork bar is awesome. They have a bartender that has goatee, glasses and ponytail. He's great! Of all the bartenders in my numerous decades, he's the best I've ever seen. When I walk in the Cork Bar and he's not there, I'm disappointed. I only gave it four stars because the Restroom is not up to par. Clean up the restrooms and this is a five star review.

Great local watering hole. Always friendly staff. Family run business for many years. Owner was a real gentleman and his family is running the bar now since his passing. Good service and great staff.

Updating my review as our experience today was how I remember the old cork bar. The owner saw my original review and wanted us to give it another try and sent a gift card which was awesome and brought me back with 5 others. First off Madison was extremely sweet when taking our order and also went out of her way to grab us a couple needed things. The subs came out and they were delicious as were the wings. So glad we decided to give the cork bar another shot and we will definitely be back!!

It's fine for a quick rail drink or bud light. Don't eat here or use the bathroom. Definitely the place to go if you voted for Trump...

I'm sorry in advance, this is going to be a long one. My husband and I have been coming here ever since we met, every time we come to Ocean City. Sometimes we would even make sure we got a hotel that was close to it because we knew that we would be most of our trip. So, I hate writing this review because I truly love going to the bar. I love the atmosphere, and the food is great, but unfortunately, our last two trips have left a very nasty taste in my mouth, so to speak. We were down for SenFest 2022 and once I got home I realized I had been double charged on my debit card. Charged once for the original amount, and then charged for the original amount plus the tip. And when I call to speak to someone at the bar, all they could tell me was to call my bank. Now I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was during Sunfest and it was crazy busy. Our whole family has always went there and never had an issue, so I just figured it was an honest mistake. Now we just went down on New Year's Eve during the day, when it wasn't busy, was waited on by the same bartender and I honestly didn't think twice about using my debit card. But imagine my surprise when I get home and I check my bank this evening and I have been double charged AGAIN, on a non- busy day by the same bartender two times in a row. Now my account is in a negative standing and I am risking a $35 overdraft fee and I have to deal with my bank to get my money back. I don't believe this is a coincidence and I hate to say that because I really have always loved going there and so does my husband and the rest of our family, but my husband and I are on the fence now whether to even go back there. But I do know if we do, we are only going to use cash. We've always spent good money in there and tipped well. And to be honest, I am really upset because I feel like we have been taken advantage of.

Thus used to be my favorite local spot till i felt unsafe and the bartender and Owner could care less after coming here for plus years.

Cute little dive bar by the boardwalk with a jukebox, pool tables, and plenty of room. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Bartenders were nice and there were plenty of seats. Dollar bills pinned all over the ceiling for some reason lol but it's cute. Overall it was a good time and I'd come back for another bar hopping adventure.

The drinks here are COLD! If you're looking for a frosty draft beer, this is the place for you! Cork bar has a fun atmosphere with pool tables and plenty of room at the bar to converse. You can even tape your own dollar to the ceiling and sign your name! Although I did not get either of their names, we met two of the bartenders there. One was extremely friendly and sociable, while the other was quiet and somewhat rude. Overall, we had a great time at this "hole in the wall" bar.

Had a great time here on vacation, ice cold beer and friend cute bartenders especially Kendra. Love the atmosphere as it is really chill.

Awesome Bar and there menu is very tasty with Great Sandwiches and Rob the daylight bartender always remembers your drink even if you're visiting on vacation. Cork Bar where everyone is a Local will definitely make this place a regular stop when visiting Ocean City Maryland

What an amazing place!! The Cork has that old school Ocean City charm and the history to back it up. You can expect great service, a great drink selection, a versatile crowd, and just down right good people. It is a family owned and operated establishment. The family's roots run deep in Ocean City. If you love a great history story as I do, just ask the owner Billy about some of Ocean City's past. He can usually be found right behind the bar serving drinks with a smile! I came to Cork bar this past weekend just looking for a night of fun, but ended up here all weekend and leaving with some new friends! As for the food, the cheeseburger sliders are a must try! Fresh ground beef topped just right. I also tried the wings, chicken tenders, fried mac and cheese, fries, and mozzarella sticks all were very tasty(I told you I was here all weekend.lol). I also believe their honey mustard is made in house. I think I licked that cup clean! Thank you Cork bar for such an amazing weekend. I'll be seeing you soon!

Your neighborhood bar feel, hip hop and R&B music no profanity. Two pool tables, great place to just sip and talk.

Best cheesesteak in OC!! Its all about Madison's magic in the kitchen. Billy, Nadia and Rob killin it behind the bar. Ask for a "Flaming Blue" and erase your thoughts. Post a dollar on the ceiling with your personal touch. Its goes to charity cause these guys have huge hearts.

The service from the bartender referenced in AJ T's review was friendly and welcoming. I was next to AJ and that is not my impression of what happened. I'm not a local and he and the other staff were very attentive. We ordered wings and mozzarella sticks and they were really good

Husband and i stopped in for lunch and drinks. We are down visiting in the off season in January and decided to try out the Cork Bar. We loved this place! The atmosphere is so relaxed and the drinks were esp cold! Mostly bar food on the menu, we had chicken fingers, tater tots and the Cork chicken wrap. We will be back! Cash only so be prepared.

Great food. Great service. The Old Bay wings and tater tots were phenomenal especially with the honey mustard dressing. After a not-so-good experience at another establishment on the boardwalk, we walked into Cork and immediately felt the difference in service and atmosphere. To quote my friend: "It's almost like they WANT you to stay," go figure. Thanks for saving the day! Y'all are great!

This bar is AWESOME!!! The bartenders are freakin cool as shit! Especially Kendra, she is absolutely amazing. My wife and I are totally going back there because of her.

Found this little hideout while people watching on the boardwalk. SUPER cold beer - fast friendly service - and tasty food! Nothing fancy... not even a little bit, but every inch an awesome place to sit for a spell and enjoy a time-out from the busy of the crowded boardwalk.

It's a pretty descent bar, just a few steps off of the boardwalk in OCMD. It's located by the Ripley's Believe or not attraction. They have a huge square shaped bar, a pool table or 2, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bathrooms were fair as far as cleanliness is concerned. I will return again.

Stopped in for a beer and to watch a bit of the game. You would think the bartender was a forced to work without pay. He took five minutes to recognize we had sat down and when he did, all he said was " what you drinkin". Girlfriend asked " Hello, do you have a drink list". He responded "Nah". At that point we got up and walked next door to Bearded Clam. Much better service. Hey bartender with the volunteer fire dept. shirt.... Be better

You are walkin the boardwalk then like magic it draws you in. great drinks and good prices. whether you are there to tie one on or just take a break. the Cork Bar is there One of our favorite stops.

Cork Bar was our first stop on our bar crawl down the boardwalk in OC. It's in a good location and easy to find which was nice. However the waitstaff wasn't all that great. We had one bartender that was average and another who was not good at all. They don't have a huge selection of craft beers but their domestics are okay. The atmosphere is neat with all the dollar bills on the ceiling with messages, definitely a unique touch! The bathrooms were subpar as well.

The best wings in ocean city, i am local and the Hawaiian wings are amazing ! Not to mention billy and all the guys are great !

It's a bar. There were 2 bartenders that were pretty awesome and one that was a dork. They have jukebox music so some of the music was awesome and some was awful. They have a decent menu and were able to accommodate us vegans with a veggie sub and veggie wrap. The French fries were especially good. The way you order food was not intuitive. You go to the counter to order and pay and then they bring it to you...after the girl draws a little map as to where you're sitting. The girl who took my order was not overly friendly but was good enough. The drinks were really well priced and you get a pretty good pour for your buck.

Would give no stars if possible. Walked in to stares with my friends, I guess they don't get many gay or Latino patrons. When one of my friends asked why his cousin couldn't stay with us at a table (they said because he was underage) despite the same tables being filled with children there with their families, we were then promptly kicked out, followed by several mumbled "good"'s from patrons as we left. I guess it's good to know that in a tourist city that the bigots have somewhere to vacation too.

I had never been here before but tried it on the suggestion of a friend of a friend. We stopped in mid afternoon so was not bust at. Pretty dull experience honestly. It was super slow but the bartender made no effort to talk to us. Just came over asked what we wanted to drink and gave us the drinks then never said another word till we asked for the tab. Kind of felt like it was more maybe a locals type place and we were definitely outsiders. Had one drink and decided to move on to someplace else.

Good, big burgers. Ordered the bacon blue burger, which comes loaded with crispy strips of hog and chunky blue cheese dressing. Side of homemade chips, pretty salty but I liked them. One of my friends got the sliders which were actually pretty big! Two others ordered "the heart attack," a specialty burger topped with a whole bunch of stuff that I can't remember. They all enjoyed their meals as well. Only ding is they're a cash-only place, so bring some because otherwise you'll have to use the ATM and you KNOW it's gonna be some small unknown bank's ATM that charges a hefty fee.

Went to the Cork Bar looking for a late lunch on a rainy and cold March Friday. My husband and I shared a Philly cheesesteak hero, an order of fried pickles and an order of fried mac & cheese bites. Oh and the hero (or sub) came with great homemade kettle chips . Everything was so yummy!! The mac & cheese bites were fantastic! We loved everything. We played an old school bowling game and a round of pool and had a couple of ice cold beers a piece. The bartender was very friendly and we felt very comfortable there. Great way to spend a blustery afternoon!!
