Yelp
This beautiful wine bar is situated in a renovated Cream City Brick late 19th century building, the interior is gorgeous wood, I don't think I've ever been in a lovelier wine bar. There are rooms inside, a nice patio in back, a knowledgeable wine steward, and this week it is festooned with Pride decorations. Near where the parade starts, it's a more elegant and upscale choice than the livelier Gay bars nearby. Really there's nothing overtly LGBTQ about the place other than that the decor and wine selection are in excellent taste, so all are welcome and anyone would feel comfortable here, unless you hate wine. Actually, the patio is so cute, I might come here just to have a diet soft drink out back. I first stopped in to see who moved in here, prompting an honest but cliché "I love what you've done with the place!" To their credit, they acted like this was the first time they heard this. Upstairs is an independently operated Air B and B, two rooms I think. My friend, neighbor, and lawyer, the late Jason Cleerman used to have his office here. He was a wonderful man who devoted his professional life to helping vulnerable immigrants, and his personal life to being a loving husband and father. I just want to mention, don't ever honk your car horn in anger, you just never know who is driving around with anger management issues and a loaded gun. I think Jason would have very much approved of the new owners.
