☀️ Corner Cafe — light, style & comfort in every detail! My husband and I stopped by in the morning for a quick coffee break — and we were pleasantly surprised! ☕️🌿 From the moment we walked in, the space felt calm, open, and stylish: ✨ Extra-high ceilings (feels like a two-story loft!) ✨ Tons of natural light pouring through the windows ✨ Beautiful hanging lights, lots of greenery, warm wood textures The design is modern and minimal but still incredibly cozy — perfect for a peaceful break in the day. 💬 Service: The staff at the counter greeted us with a smile and helped us right away. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient — exactly what you want in a café! 🥐 Drinks & Food: We ordered coffee and a croissant — delicious and freshly made. There’s also a build-your-own sandwich bar with plenty of options (around $10), and the portions looked generous. Great place if you’re hungry or just grabbing something light. 💻 Great for: • Laptop work or remote studying • Coffee dates or solo time • Relaxing with a book or planning your day • Casual meetings or lunch breaks 🪴 Plenty of seating — from cozy booths to long communal tables by the windows. You can sit closer to the front for more energy or relax in the back for a quieter vibe. ✅ Overall: Corner Cafe is a perfect combination of aesthetics, good service, and comfort. We’ll definitely come back again!

This place is an amazing value. I went with my friend who is a state worker. Im not sure if its even open tp the public. The food is fresh and made right in front of you. Staff is friendly. Its cheap. $6.50 for a burger and honestly it was pretty good. I mean not like grass fed wagu beef good but the meat was fine. The tomatoes and lettuce was all fresh, bread was good, It's a a good burger. Add sweet potato fries and cheese and still only $9.50. Awesome. Also its a really cool place. All windows. A lot of thought went into this café. I'll be back.

Clean, new, advanced place. I came for breakfast and had one of the best breakfast burritos ever. For 4$ you get eggs, cheese, potatoes, and can add items like bacon, multiple types of sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms etc. Delicious!! Doors have options for touch less opening. Restrooms have touch less water, soap, and air dry. Beautiful new building and I highly recommend.

Came here about a week ago with my friend to get some lattes. Drink was disgustingly bitter! Manager was condensing and rude. Waste of time and money. Won’t be returning!

I live close—so close I can smell the huevos. I’ve tried to visit this café many times: at dawn, sunrise, the very reasonable hour of 6 a.m. But the doors… they reject me. Unless you have a badge to prove you are, in fact, you—or the sacred white sneaker of The State Werker—you’re not getting in. It’s a fortress, but for affordable huevos. I ask for little. Just a humble breakfast burrito. Something with eggs… papas… maybe a whisper of queso. I eat a bean burrito every day. My food pyramid lately? Just frijoles and tears. Still, I believe. I return. Because one day… I will enter. And when I do, I’ll finally remember what an egg-y under $42 tastes like.

This is the most reasonably priced place to get a good breakfast in the central Sacramento area. Good food options, a large selection of coffee and tea drinks, nice decor and friendly staff. Be sure to take a stroll up the ramp and check out the beautiful garden and river walk.

Located at the corner of the new building at CalSTRS. The corner Cafe is open to the public though. Reasonable prices, great options. They have a coffee side and also hot food at breakfast and lunch.

Yelp
Love at first sip -- Corner Cafe stole our hearts! Stopped by this spot with my husband for a morning coffee -- and WOW, this place is a total hidden gem! First impression: Breathtaking high ceilings, tons of natural light, gorgeous wood elements, cozy booths, and hanging greenery everywhere -- it's like a café + wellness retreat in one. The vibe is peaceful, spacious, and super clean. Service: The person at the counter greeted us with a smile and helped us order right away. Everything was fast and friendly. Coffee + food: We had a warm latte and a fresh croissant -- simple but absolutely delicious. There's also a build-your-own sandwich bar (starting around $10), perfect for lunch. Great portion sizes and fresh options! Work & relax zone: Plenty of space if you want to work on your laptop, read, or chill solo. They have long communal tables, comfy booths, and peaceful window seats -- seriously, you'll want to stay. Perfect for: * Morning coffee dates * Working remotely * Creative time alone * Lunch with friends This place is now in my go-to list. Beautiful, modern, and relaxing -- I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Cafe in CalSTRS building (corner of Third and E streets) that's open to the public with delicious breakfast and lunch options and a coffee/tea bar at prices well below the average. Nice decor with lots of light and friendly, helpful staff.
