Corner Diner - Review - Downtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"This vendor in a Downtown food hall attached to the Brightline station has the sort of ambiance that suits a midweek lunch break better than a date night (unless your date is really into trains). The huge, winding space is usually humming with stomach growls beneath J. Crew shirts around noon, and then apocalyptically empty after lunch break hours. Come the next time you’re in the mood for a large sandwich, or a ramen burrito that works shockingly well. They also have bagels, salads, and customizable breakfast plates with eggs and such. If you’re visiting Miami and suddenly realize you forgot to have a cuban sandwich mere minutes before your train arrives, don’t cry. They do a slightly unusual but delicious version." - Ryan Pfeffer

I’ve been coming here since they opened and I first saw the famous ramen burrito on social media. It lives up to the hype! By now I’ve had the entire office try it and the staff here greet me by name. I’ve been sleeping on their burgers and finally tried the bacon and blue cheese burger for the first time today and it was amazing! It seems like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here and the staff have always provided great service in my experience. Happy to have a place like this so close to work!

Really bad service. Really bad.. Corner Diner had one person working for both in front and back. I ordered on an iPad, the only worker there could not find any rubber gloves to cook with. Waited about ten mins for him to finally go tell the manager(who was eating food out in the hall) that he couldn’t find gloves and the manager laughed at him, came in, showed him where they were and went back out to finish eating his own food. While telling me “don’t worry he just lost his mind for a bit, he is gonna make your food now”……Twenty minutes later I get a disgusting and very overcooked burger from a guy who could barely make the effort to hand the bag to me or look at me. Not going to lie the fries were great but the service, management and burger were a 0 out of 10. Not recommended.

I asked for a Tuna sandwich 🥪. I specifically asked if the tuna is mixed w/mayonnaise & or celery or onions. The staff said yes. When I received my sandwich, the Tuna was not mixed. It looked like it came right out of the can in "Chunks". The tuna was not made like the way you would do it at home. Too many big pieces. Very disappointing 😞. Especially spending $25.00. Definitely not worth it. 😠 😡

I live in parkline, but grew up in the northeast. These are easily the best bagels in Miami. Closest bagel ive found to home.
