If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. This hidden gem has been one of my all time favorite bars in Boston. The owners and staff welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms, making this place feel like home. They also put fin decorations up during events and holidays.

Loved this place! I had read a good review on Google suggesting that the egg rolls were great. I can confirm that they are superb! Especially the Buffalo chicken and Ballpark ones 😲 This is an amazing "dive bar" which is far from a dive.

I wish there were 6 stars. Everyone here is your friend - leave your problems outside - or bring them in and anyone here will listen. Whether you're in a Brooks Brothers 3-piece cut high and tight or rocking Vans with dreds you have a home here. It's a comfy bar with attentive service, good food, and it's a downtown location (5 minute walk from South Station, on the edge of Chinatown) that will not break the bank. Students, financiers (not the cake), and locals mesh well. If you visit once, you'll want to visit again.

This bar is probably the cause for a lot of people missing their trains or deciding on a later one. Bit of a dive bar vibe but in all the good ways. No frills but decent prices on the drinks and friendly service. Music was playing at a decent volume for the time of evening and all in all my favourite bar of the day and I will definitely return.

Go for the drinks, and go for the food at your own risk. Wasn’t expecting anything on the Michelin rating when it came to food, as i know what type of place it is and generally love myself a good dive bar, but was pretty disappointed when the chowder came out lukewarm, like it had been nuked right out of the freezer.

Good food, good drinks, good people, good atmosphere. Need I say more? I gotta emphasize, the food here is vastly better than it has any right to be. Get the Irish nachos.

Always had good luck coming here for drinks and food, but visited today and for some reason, I was passed by for 15 minutes. The place was not busy. Finally, i got up from my seat flagged down the bartender/waiter got their attention. I ordered drink but was completely forgotten about. Wasn't asked if i wanted another drink. I wasnt going to chase waitstaff for the 2nd time. Wont be back.

Update 8.17.22 I've come back to the Corner Pub quite often now. Mostly to see my new friend Fran the pink flamingo. Their food is delicious and service great. Their steak sandwich and grilled cheese are amazing and try all their eggrolls. Pam and Matt the owners have been so kind to me and my family during this difficult time. They also generously provided lunch and dinner to the nurses and doctors taking care of my husband at Tufts CSICU. Stop by and check it out, especially if you are coming into the city by commuter rail. You are steps away from South Station.. and "there's always another train" I'm staying in Boston while my husband is in the hospital. I wandered in one evening because the sign on the door caught my attention. The rest of the signs decorations make me smile. The bartender/server was so good on a Monday night, Mike I believe his name was, I thought he owned the place. Food was great and service too. I've been back two more times and met the owner Pam. She is very kind and caring. Definitely stop in here when coming and going from south Station. . Close to Chinatown and Tufts Medical Center .

This place is a gem in Boston. There are many gems in Boston, but this one is a step above the normal Boston Pub gem status and unique as it showcases more than a dozen house made 'Egg-Rolls' filled with anything from Mac and Cheese, to Shepperd's Pie (my personal favorite), to Chicken Pot Pie through buffalo chicken and pulled BBQ beef to name a few!!! Wings were also really good, they used corn starch to coat before they fried them which gives them a really great crisp/crunch even when coated with the sauce. Great staff as well and while it was a month ago or so I was there and i can't recall his name, he looked a lot like Aaron Rodgers so you won't miss him if you visit this place! Thanks again! Hope you enjoy this place as much as I did!

Walked here before a concert. We grabbed a high top and stole chairs from other people's tables they weren't using. We were trying to order food on the app when the bartender came over. She was super nice, asked if we needed drinks. Gave some recommendations. We started with tatchos, a Vermont cider and a Long Island. We also ordered burgers. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The burger was really greasy but honestly I haven't had a burger like that in so long-it was welcomed. Everything was so damn good. If we didn't live 2 hours away it would easily have been a regular visit.

Swung into the corner pub for a quick bite as I was craving some buffalo wings. This quaint little bar is everything you love about "a corner pub." The service is friendly as were the customers who stuck up conversion . I ordered wings and was surprised . For the record , I don't prefer breaded wings so when they came ( breaded) I gave a little sigh ... I was really impressed upon trying them how crispy and tasty they were. The bleu cheese was perfect and fresh as well. Very good meal highly recommended!!

What a pleasant surprise! We stumbled upon this place while hungry and in search of a meal. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we made a great choice. The wings were a amazing! And the service? It was top-notch, making us feel like regulars on our very first visit. Great little place.

Went here for a quick drink. Surprised at their rye whiskey selection. Tried the fried pickles; recommend ordering without salt. Bathrooms are clean and have a chalkboard aesthetic.

We absolutely loved our time at The Corner Pub! We randomly stumbled upon this spot on our vacation to Boston. So glad we did. The bartender/owner was awesome. The food was amazing. The steak and cheese egg roll is a MUST -- but please try the others as well! This bar is our vibe. We will definitely recommend to our friends and will be back the next time we're in Boston!

This has become the "eat, pray, love" of dive bars. Sometime during quarantine (when I wasn't looking), they replaced all the legit dive bar deco with banal sayings on dollar-store plaques in pastel colors. Imagine throw cushions that say "it's wine o'clock somewhere" and pablum like that. (Okay, maybe not cushions, but your maiden uncle would think the place was cute.) That's not how to run a dive bar. There's a dive bar I know -- a legit one -- that has a shelf tucked in behind another shelf on the back of the bar which is full of random liquors, stuff that nobody drinks, like, maybe, bubblegum vodka or... and there's a handwritten sign on the shelf that says "$4 shots." It's been that way for years. It's known as the four-dollar shot shelf. (And yes, I have. And, no, NOT the bubblegome vodka, for godsakes.) This is what the Corner Pub used to be like but The Corner Pub has gone corporate. They've painted a big mockup of the Green Monster and have a formal fancy board that lists "brown bag shots" and "Mystery Beer." It's just not the same when it's scrubbed. It's like when mom sees that you're collecting beer can labels and decides to help out. Uh, mom.... Up the block there's another legit dive bar that has its wine list on a white board. It says: Red. White. That's it. No meta self-conscious aren't-we-cute stuff. While I was sipping my coors lite, I started to wonder if I'd imagined the earlier Corner Pub and so pulled out pictures. Nope. The Pub has changed, and not for the better. Oh, you can still get cheap(ish) drinks and stoned bartenders. You can still get corned beef egg rolls (and other weird wonders of the dive world), but not as many, and not as cheap. Okay, I know, Covid forced everyone to streamline. But why wreck the dive vibe?

Great hole-in-the-wall spot which is a bit divy, but comfortable, welcoming and easily handled our family of 5. Food was on-point comfort food, we made our way through a variety of egg rolls which came in many flavors and were great. Sliders good too! Would go back again, I imagine at night it's a blast in there...

love it here! very nice staff and the food is great too. even when mistakes are made in the order they deal with them swiftly and kindly.

This was definitely the go to bar spot while in Boston. Pam and her husband are the owners and they are THE BEST. It is a small chill place to hang and have drinks. Pam and her husband will take care of you and make sure you alright. I came across this bar on Yelp and they were like how the heck you found us! They not a big advertiser of their business. They keep it small and a family type feel vibe. They do sell food here too. I tried their house wings with a side of buffalo sauce...delicious! They also made a pizza which wasn't bad. But the wings were really fresh and good. The drinks are decently priced. I just enjoyed the atmosphere here and the vibe. I can't wait to return here when I am back in Boston. They do have a lottery drawing you can play there and such funny bar decors.

So happy that we randomly came into this joint! We met the owner, had great conversation, great decor and the beer selection was wonderful. Highly recommend! Cheers

Came here on a Thursday night before Christmas Eve. Right as we got there, the worker had written on the door they are closing at eight when it just turned 6:30. Seating ourselves, we were informed the kitchen close at 7 o'clock so we were quick to decide on what to order. We shared the steak and cheese eggrolls as well as the mac & cheese with hot dog egg roll. We built our own burgers including the mushrooms, peppers and onions cooked to medium. Compared to other steak and cheese egg rolls I've had before, these were not anything spectacular being on the dry and over cooked side. Same goes for the Mac n cheese version in which my half barely had any hotdog because of how it was cut. However, these factors could have been due to them trying to close and wrap up for the night. The burger was great though, perfect for those drunk nights you want to get something fatty and comforting in your belly. Both the regular and sweet potatoes fries were crispy and soft filling. The brioche buns were always appreciated but a side pickle really would have made it even better. In the short time there, we were able to order their mixed drink which comprised of pineapple juice, vodka, and a few other ingredients making an easy drink to sip on while waiting for food. Would like to come back at an earlier time/different day as I can tell it has a great and comfortable vibe to hangout with friends and maybe get to know others.

Been coming here for ages. First time I felt like this place has lost some soul coming on Thursday. Saw a bartender overreact to my friend who was simply asking where he can get some water. Bartender was carrying some stuff back and hands were full but did he really need to be so rude? Pam never would've treated us this way.

This could be a really generic pub and still succeed off its location and price point. But it really goes the extra mile to have character: fun decor, silly bartenders, cool traditions like mystery drinks, and just all around good vibes. Also had some great drinks, including a delightful IPA I wish I could remember the name of. Check it out!

Went here for the first time and had a great experience. The owner Pam has the best personality and was very personable. We are from Maine and cannot wait to go back

Yesterday was my first and last time going here. I politely asked the bartender what the IPA on tap was, and he just fired back, "There are like 5 of 'em," so I pointed directly to the tap I was asking about and said "the one that says 'IPA' on it" and he repeated himself, "There are like 5 IPAs"...this went around a few times until he finally said, "oh, you mean the one that says 'IPA' on it?" Just complete rudeness that could have been avoided if he did his job and provided a real answer from the beginning. I'm totally fine with a no frills dive bar (it's basically my go-to) but I know enough good bartenders around town to know this ain't it. If I had been drunk or an a-hole I would get the attitude, but I was neither. So have a nice life being like that to everyone you meet.

Great little corner pub with casual environment. Tasty egg rolls. Cheese steak roll was tasty. Good way to wind down for a drink and snack

Love Pam and her team. Great food and lots of choices. The egg rolls are tasty and innovative. It gets noisy but the energy is great.

Great dive bar. Place has a great selection of bar food. Wings and fried pickles are great and I'm from the south so that says something. Always bring in a good after work crowd as well.

My favorite place to spend a Thursday night after work!! Makes sense it's packed. Best food and people in Boston!! Highly recommend to anyone traveling as it's right by South Station.

Not exactly a dive, but overall a good bar. The bar keep was nice and poured a house shot. The appetizers were pretty good and the salsa was fresh.

Would not recommend. Says they close at midnight but person on phone says they stop doing food at 10. No postage of that anywhere and was not like that months ago. This place has gone downhill fast. Spend your money elsewhere. I've tried to order two times recently and both were horrible experiences. I've worked in the food industry and fine dining, this place is a shit show.

Came in here after boxing class and I had very little expectations of this place. Boy, was I in for a treat!?! The steak and cheese egg roll was soooo good! I tried the cheeseburger one too and it was okay, definitely choose steak and cheese though. The sweet potato fries were fried to perfection. It was a tad bit crunchy on the outside but moist in the inside. Absolutely adore this place!

Stopped in here for a quick drink while waiting to head back to New York on Saturday afternoon. They had some outdoor seating, along with inside seating. I opted to sit inside. There were a few tables occupied with one or 2 persons. I ordered a margarita, which was reallyyyy good. The bartender was really cool. She switch up the music and started playing Beyoncé and Rihanna. Talk about knowing how to read the crowd! This was a cool place to stop in for a drink. I'd definitely return with some friends next time!

Whoever works here and was bartending tonight (11/26) buddy was wearing a white shirt and tie trying to look all idk professional or something He looked about as serious as Dale and Brendan did in Step Brothers. Guys a joke of a bartender. Walked in there with my gf and sat at a table in an empty ass bar and the dude just stares at us for 10 minutes. Can't even come over and take an order or ask what's going on. Not a server in sight either. The fact that bartender works here says everything about the business itself. Prolly some front who knows. Don't go. If ur reading this white shirt chin up, serving in an empty restaurant is like rocket science we all understand. Don't walk in this building homeless ppl provide better service, or at least on a Saturday night @ 5:30 don't go.

One of the best spots in Boston. Good selection of beer, great menu with great pub food! Haven't had a bad egg roll yet! Steak Sandwich is awesome! Owner Pam is what makes the place so special! Shark Week is on! Be sure to ask to meet Fran!

The Corner Pub is a great unassuming bar by South Station and on the edge of Chinatown. The fried pickles are great as well as the assortment of egg rolls. Beer prices are reasonable and of course Keno. Highly recommend.

What a great local place. Food is tasty.. steak sandwich, egg rolls, tater tots, fish and chips. Very good service. Fun atmosphere. Good pricing especially in Boston. Fun decor. If traveling into our out of south Station this is just steps away.. take the next train

It was my first time here, i've really enjoyed. Buger were good, and there were planty of beers options. Totally comforting.

The food here was pretty solid. My friends and I were disappointed that they ran out of the cider they had on tap - and we were a bit surprised that for three ciders, mozzarella sticks and chicken strips we paid $60. The inside is exactly what you'd expect - kind of sports-ish and a little divey. The bartenders are nice but a little inattentive - it took me a while to flag them down/ get their attention despite the bar being pretty empty.

Ok I don't want everyone to know about this gem! Kidding of course! First time here and you feel like family in 5 minutes! It's the perfect...well 'Corner Bar'. Owners are running around decorating for shark week, blowing up beach balls for all to enjoy. Nice place for sports or a Keno game. Feels like sitting at home with your friends. I have a feeling the second visit you will be participating in the hugs. Did not have the food but looks and smells great. Place is spotless and decor is fun. Definitely not the run of the mill tourist spot...and that's a good thing. A must check out if in the area!

I walked in here with two friends on a Friday night- the atmosphere was pretty chill and it was pretty empty, so it was nice to not be in a rowdy place. We only walked in here because it was relatively close to South Station (about a 5 minute walk) and because the price claimed itself to be one (1) dollar sign. We ordered chicken tenders to share ($10), an order of mozzarella sticks ($7), and three ciders (???). The food was nothing spectacular; it reminded me of college dining hall snacks. Cider was nice and sweet. Unfortunately, we were absolutely shocked when got ready to leave and the total was around $60. Most likely won't be coming here again.

First time customer and I will definitely be back! I got the steak quesadilla and it was really good! Hot and juicy! I got two $5 mystery beers and they were yummy! Great environment!

The place is located walking distance from China town. Great dive bar, went in on a Saturday early evening and it wasn't crowded at all but I can imagine it being packed at night. Me and my friend both ordered beers, they have a great selection of beers. The bartender was really friendly and brought the drinks to our table. The prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend it for a having a chill night in town.

Not bad, I had a pretty good time here it's a good spot between China town and the south station to hangout and catch a drink while waiting. Relatively cheap well made drinks staff is pretty quick to check on you and take your orders.

Great dive. Plenty selection of beer. Safe fun place with tasty bar food! Will be visiting when in town again.

We didn't know what to expect when walking over here my friends seemed nervous to say the least. The inside is so cute! Very beachy vibes and a lot less divey that I thought. The bartender was super nice and it seemed like a place with a lot of regulars. We still felt welcomed

Great eggrolls and locations. I stopped in yesterday to try the eggrolls and they did not disappoint. Both owners, Matt & Pam, were hospitable, welcoming, and speedy. There was no wait and tables were spaced apart, so I would go back!

One of the best bars I have gone too. Makes me wish I was a local. Egg rolls were great. Pot pie was my favorite. Drinks were good and Pam and Christy made us feel like family. We will be back for sure next time we are in Boston. And playing Keno was a bonus.

Came to Boston from Jersey and WOW!!! Came during shark week and they had an awesome shark week 2018 menu so we had the fish&Chips and their famous egg rolls! Ball park, shepherds pie, steak&cheese and chicken pot pie egg rolls were super fresh and the perfect amount of crispy to go with my local beer Harpoon House Golden! There was kind of a wait for The food but sooooo worth it! Great hospitality and loved the shark week theme decor!!! Def recommend this place for anyone around this area!!!

The service is so nice! Whether it's packed or empty, the people have always been very kind. They encourage us to play music we like and help us carry our drinks and make small talk. It's quickly becoming my favorite place to take friends before or after a night out.

Very small but cool neighborhood bar. Basic bar, nothing special. Their egg rolls were pretty good, try em all while drinking. Loses a star because it smelled really bad in certain places. If you're visiting, go somewhere else though.

Do you ever go to a bar and think, "I love this place! Don't tell anyone!" This is one. Don't go there. Andy and the team are doing good without you! No really. This place is cool. We sat there 3 hours. Met regulars. Ate the food. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

Pam, the owner, did such a wonderful job serving us and making us feel welcome. Her kitchen had closed yet she still brought me chips and salsa to make up for it. Her drinks are super strong and the bar has a very cool ambience with great songs playing throughout the night. Thank you so much Pam for your hospitality and making us feel welcome here in Boston!

The fried pickles were great. The buffalo wings were just hot enough without being too spicy. There was one women who was the bartender and the waitress and she was very friendly. Plus they had some pumpkin Shipyard on tap!

Cute little hidden gem in the leather district (hidden for me at least as I'd never been and don't spend a ton of time in the area). Nice staff and ambiance, overall enjoyed the drinks and prices were good.

Quaint little pub near Chinatown. Nice pub-like atmosphere but not especially friendly. I had a couple of beers with the thought of staying for a while but did not feel motivated to do so. I was solo; maybe a better set up for a bunch of friends.

We stopped in here last night while waiting for our table to be ready at an another restaurant, not knowing what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised! Excellent drink selection (salted caramel martini, Samoa coconut martini... I mean really creative and excellent execution), cool vibe, clean, and exceptional service! As a lifelong Bostonian, who even went to school down the street, I had no idea before yesterday that this place existed! Glad to have stumbled in and I will definitely return!

I love this place! I don't play Keno, but my wife does. I just eat. The steak and cheese egg rolls are legit. We hung out with bartenders on their days off. Pam and her husband came in after a while, and they were great!
