Instacart Is Suing Uber Over Grocery Delivery Service Cornershop | Eater
"The rival grocery-delivery service, majority owned by a global ride-hailing company, is accused of taking product images, descriptions, and pricing data from a competitor, allegedly modifying file names to conceal origin and hiring engineers with scraping experience as part of that effort. The platform—one of the largest delivery apps in Latin America and acquired last year to expand its parent company’s footprint beyond ride-hailing—has been defended in public statements that characterize the lawsuit as an unfortunate choice of litigation over competition." - Jenny G. Unfortunately I purchased a box of Teddy Grahams without looking at the expiration date (because why would something expired be on shelves anyways right?)
Once the box was opened it smelled strongly of chemicals/paint and sure enough it was expired…for 2 years. Insane!
