An outdoor food hall from Walmart heads to Henderson | Eater Vegas

"I'm looking at plans for Walmart’s first local outdoor container park, which will create a huge open-air dining and retail destination by filling approximately 1.5 acres of the existing Walmart parking lot at Eastgate Plaza, located at the intersection of Sunset Road and Marks Street. The two-level, 63,600-square-foot site is planned to include 1,920 square feet for retail stores and 6,620 square feet for containers modified to serve a variety of menus; the current layout calls for pizza, tacos, burgers, desserts, coffee, a large "bar & grill," plus yet-to-be-assigned spaces. The concept, floated nationally since 2018 and similar to a project headed to Loveland, Colorado that promotes a “carefully curated mix of local, regional and national food tenants in an active setting,” with live entertainment, wellness facilities and diverse beverage choices, aims to be the go-to destination for nights out, though a completion timetable has not been revealed." - Bradley Martin

Google
A really nice part with beautiful scenery, a lively park based around a pond surrounded by mountain views. There is a farmers market that occurs on Saturdays. I'm not sure exactly what time it opens, but a good chunk (most) of them are up amd running by 9am. The trail is paved but has sports of fine gravel around the pond. There is a lot of wildlife in the area, especially in the mornings, such as hummingbirds, ducks, turtles, and frogs. This is a great park to walk, run, or take the dogs to. This park also hosts small events from time to time.

Google
Went for an early afternoon walk. It was lightly raining and B4 we got to "turtle Bridge" it starting hailing. It was so funny to watch my hubs book it back to the car. But the skies b4 they unzipped were so pretty

Google
Great place to get in a nice scenic run! Plenty of space and it’s clean. It has public bathrooms out there as well! My only issue is too many ducks and gnats! On your run you will swallow a mouth full lol.

Google
Very cool park!. Very versatile aswell. When I was there, a farmers market was going on. People were walking along the sidewalk around the lake, people were playing tennis, others working out, Multiple picnic gatherings under many of the outside rooftop picnic plazas. And, there was live music being played. Quite A unique positive experience.

Google
I enjoy this park. It's peaceful and pretty. Lots of ducks and water birds and Canada geese. Dog friendly. you can hike around the entire lake in about an hour. There are several covered picnic table areas and barbecues. Nice lawn and garden areas with beautiful blossoming trees. The bathrooms are clean and easy access. Volleyball and tennis courts. Easy access for disabled. I have also seen farmers markets set up. The Canada geese are there every year and interact well with people. It's so cute seeing the little goslings follow along . I recommend this park for relaxation.

Google
Beautiful local park surrounding Railroad Lake, here in Henderson. Paved walking/bike path surrounding the lake, and a great place to hike, jog, or take in the nice scenery. There are a few things to amuse kids, as well as covered picnic tables, and restrooms. There are a large number of Canada geese, which are fun to watch, but be careful where you step.

Justin B.

Google
Great park for exercising or just enjoying the water view, though be sure to bring bug repellent in the evening, tons of bugs in the air. Plenty of birds, ducks and geese to see while walking around the lake. Park had basketball courts, volleyball, ample parking, decent restrooms for a park, plenty of benches, gazebos, trash and recycling receptacles, nice bridges to walk over sections of the lake. Overall one of the better parks we’ve visited in the Vegas area.

Nokester

Google
Beautiful park. Hundreds of Canadian geese (and their poop). Lots of other birds and various ducks. Well maintained, family friendly park.

Yelp
The Cambridge Dictionary defines cornerstone as something of great importance that everything else depends on. Additionally, the One Health approach recognizes that the health of humans, animals, and ecosystems are interconnected. Protect public lands!

Sheilicha S.

Yelp
Our first time walking the trail and we saw Canadian Geese, we heard crickets, and other things that we weren't familiar with lol. The trail we believe was about a mile. We stopped a couple to ask, did they about How long the trail was? The gentleman said, 1 mile. There's an inner trail as well that may be shorter than the outside trail. You can grill out here as well. The pets were loving the freedom as well. We'll definitely be back that's for sure.

Kate Lynne M.

Yelp
Huge walking area. The park has a number of ducks and crows. I removed a star for when we went there, there were so many animal poop around. It needs maintenance. There is an exercise area and some courts. Its a good place for leisure as long as it is cleaned better.

Yelp
Oh Cornerstone, a special place in my heart you hold. As a runner in Vegas it's hard to find somewhere flat to do intervals, threshold, etc. and while the loop isn't necessarily flat, it makes for a great running location. This is largely due to the giant body of water that includes various bird species year round. The trail around the water is well maintained and half of it has a dirt section which is lovely. The staff do a good job of keeping the bathrooms as clean as you can at an outdoor park. There is also basketball ball courts, a fitness center, and volleyball courts next to the bathrooms. Another big plus is that there is virtually no homeless people or trash compared to some of the other parks on the area. This park is also connected by the Union Pacific railroad trail and the Pittman Walsh trail which are bike trails that go for miles! If you're in Vegas for a weekend and wanna keep up with your running I highly recommend you make your way to cornerstone

Yelp
Nice clean park. Park has plenty of tables just in case you and your family decide to have a picnic.

Yelp
A very nice community park offering many desirable attractions including such things as: parking, walking trails, basketball courts, fitness workout area, restroom facility, kids play area, picnic areas, and a man-made water feature that attracts birds, ducks, geese, and even seagulls! There was a small farmer's market in the parking lot when we visited the park. Surprised to see road runners. Even more surprised to have the roadrunners checking us out while we were walking by. They got rather close too; about 10 feet away. Seagulls flying around too.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Amazing park! There is a ton of parking and just the size of the park is huge. There were turtles and ducks in the water to look and enjoy while walking around. The park also has seating and tables if you want to enjoy a nice snack or meal there. If you are walking around the water in the summer there is not really much shade so make sure to bring a ton of water if you are going to walk while it is hot.

Yelp
Cornerstone Park in Henderson, NV is a nice and peaceful place. I used to enjoy walking around the lake and just being outside. The trails are great for walking or jogging, and there's lots of open space to relax. You'll see ducks, birds, and nice views all around. It's a great spot to get some fresh air and enjoy nature.
google avatar

Tommie G.

Yelp
Great park to walk around the water or relax in green valley. Currently the Earth's Harmonies Art Installation is on display. Great for birders as well!
google avatar

Yelp
I love Cornerstone Park. I board/walk dogs through the Wag & Rover apps. I used to have this reoccurring walk with an old pit and we'd walk Cornerstone. Always a good time. One time we were walking this park and a bunch of guys were getting arrested in the mens restroom. It was all very calm. But they were being led out, cuffed and taken away. Other than that a very cool place to go.
google avatar

Judit C.

Yelp
Absolutely recommending Cornerstone Park for anyone who wants to get more steps done in their life. I definitely enjoy walking around this park, especially during the cooler weather. The park is well taken care of, always clean! The trees and bushes and all plants are trimmed both by the walking path and by the lake. The walking paths, the bathrooms, ballpark, picnic areas and parking areas are well lit at night time. The park is open from 6 am to midnight! There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy here, especially in the weekend when there is a Farmer's Market, or some fun activities such a fundraiser event for a local charity or community event for all ages. Please check their website or a poster calendar for any events or activities!

Yelp
After a two nights day of vacationing and resting in Las Vegas, it was time to go to work. When I mean work, I mean, punching another marathon on my quest to run run 50 states marathons/ultras for the second time around. Enter Cornerstone Park here in Las Vegas, or Henderson Nevada. This is the site venue of the Jackpot ultras running event, held annually in this for a while now in February. There was a nice paved trail that laps around the lake. The park itself was quite large, sporting a few hills, here, and there, to make it a scenic endeavor for myself and countless others, who come here every day to enjoy the park. There's people like me who like to run laps around it. The park quite scenic, especially with a nice little pool with wildlife in it while I was here, I enjoyed the ducks splashing around and making noise among its peers. It was nice to see them either being independent of each other, finding way to each other, or just finding breakfast, lunch or dinner for the day. The park can support a 3 mile loop circumnavigate the entire park and the lake. There is a large parking lot and they have restroom facilities for anybody and everyone who needs it. There's also a few pavilions with picnic tables along with overhead shelter for people who like to sit down and enjoy the park for its natural beauty. Cornerstone Park is such a nice place to visit if you're in the area and don't like Las Vegas and the strip. It is an alternative to all the gambling and shows and everything else you know about Vegas. But outside the strip it is all open country where the local residents live. Is definitely nice to see wide open spaces here in the Las Vegas Valley. The park itself is a nice place to sit and hang out if you need. Recommended if you're in the area and it is the site where crazy people run in February. Unless the race organizers change the date. The over experience here at cornerstone Park here in Las Vegas, Nevada was very much enjoyable and peaceful. There are numerous places to sit down and enjoy the park. There are park benches also in various places. While there are restroom facilities in the parking south, there are no restaurants available unfortunately. We must bring your food from outside the park perimeters and you must clean up after yourself as well. my experience here was during Presidents' Day weekend in 2024. It was nice to be here specially, with insanely good weather. No rain and it was cool in the evening which stepped into the mid 40s the high that we was around upper 50s Fahrenheit. There is a dirt path around the lower part of the lake, which is nice for those people who enjoy that. Oh yeah, there's a basketball court on the upper side of the park as well. This park tries to incorporate everyone and everyone in the community to visit. Whether you're walking the paths, training for your first or 50th half marathon, or just taking your dog out for a walk, there's something for everyone here at Cornerstone Park. I particularly enjoyed the uphill session where it was close to the housing area. Also, the ducks too, as mentioned before. Cornerstone Park is located in Henderson Nevada. Like all parks, no admission fee required. That's right. Is free. Yay!! It's physically located at 1600 Wigwam Parkway in Henderson. As far as parking goes,, really big parking spot for anybody and everybody to enjoy the park. For myself, though, I ended up taking Uber to and from the park it is pretty cool to have Uber on demand, especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. And that's before 9 AM. I guess Las Vegas is one of those places were 24 seven matters the most. I think the Las Vegas public transportation system comes through here, if you want to use that venue. But for most of us having a rental car, or a private rental car is also Dahl. How you get here, get here. Very nice and scenic. Do yourself a favor and come here if you get a chance, you get to see ducks playing in the water and that makes most people smile. I know it did with me when I was there doing multiple loops around the lake. The white open spaces and the great outdoors are great for the human spirit. The park is also great for anybody to compress after a hard day at the office. Come on down if you're in the area and need the break from the Las Vegas' casinos or life's many stresses. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

Yelp
I got to check out the parks display for Memorial Day to honor our fallen! Love this!! Thank you for remembering what this day is for. Too bad so many have forgotten and take advantage of the freedoms we have in this country! God bless our troops! Thank you is never enough.

Yelp
Nice and clean running path! Beautiful scenery! Love the little bunnies running around! Bathroom was clean and seemed safe.

Yelp
This is definitely a great park that takes you out of the normal element of Vegas/Henderson. It has a lovely lake that I actually hope they clean up a bit more, and add some more scenery to. This location definitely has more potential to be an actual paradise. Overall it is a nice place with some solitude to clear your mind and enjoy the day with the ducks that live here, and also the friendly people walking their dogs and getting their workout on...as me and wifey do ourselves. I definitely recommend this park if your looking for a different setup and a change to your walk or just to relax and hang out. God bless

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite places in the valley. It's got a beautiful track with a few "trails" that go around it. People are friendly and it's a great place to bring your dog or partner for a nice peaceful walk, in a little bit of kinda nature, in the heart of the burbs.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
I love this park. It is so beautiful and peaceful to walk around. My favorite park is the water with all the ducks and geese, but there are also seating areas, basketball courts, volleyball courts, outdoor fitness station, follow the signs on the walking trail and read the story, playground, and expansive grass area. I have seen dog festivals, running events, and more held here. It's a great park to bring your dog(s) to for a beautiful walk (or run).

Nome U.

Yelp
Small but a hidden gem with lots of water fowl and a nice lake view in the middle of this desert .
google avatar

Yelp
Great for a nature outing or dog walk. I was looking for a playground for my 6 yo granddaughter but didn't see one. Headed to Reunion Trails Park, nearby. She loved it! https://yelp.to/xJj1nxRo85

Yelp
Such a lovely park to walk, run, bike, chill in the park. It's about 1 mile per lap around the lake. Tons of grass area for yard games. Picnic tables for gatherings. Large public bathrooms too. I love this place and am so grateful it's so accessible!

Yelp
My adult son's, daughter and me, went for a walk and my son brought his new electric bike to ride at Cornerstone Park in Henderson. The day was turning to evening but we walked around the pond before the sunlight faded away and the temperature dropped. It was a beautiful day (Sunday) Presidents Day Weekend. Many folks were out enjoying the weather with their family and pets. The park is impressive and expansive spread out over a lot of land with walking paved walking paths, scenic areas where one can observe the landscape filled with geese, ducks and birds. There are covered picnic areas, an expansive grass field for playing frisbee, etc. basketball courts, a workout area, volleyball court, and plenty of parking. It's a nice park to come and enjoy. We come here a few times a year. Las Vegas and Henderson have many parks to choose from but I have to say, this park is one of my favorites: it is well designed and thought out. We will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Farmers market held here in part of parking lot every Saturday from 9A-2P. The park has a lake that you can walk around either on the dirt trail or the paved trail. Basketball courts available. Plenty of wildlife (ducks, knats, geese, birds) around the lake. Clean restrooms with soap and hand dryers. Shaded areas to host a gathering or BBQ with lots of seating. Plenty of parking. Overall a great clean, community park.
google avatar

Renee N.

Yelp
I have driven by this park multiple times but never stopped. Well, I finally checked it out. The park is large with a man made reservoir in the middle. Lots of tall grasses are growing make the park somewhat attractive. I was there on a very warm day and walked around. Lots of geese on the green belt but where geese go so does their poop! And it was everywhere! I had to dodge it with each step until I made it to the walkway that takes you around the reservoir. As I walked, I saw some ducks playing in the murky, nasty water and was kind of turned off so I wandered back the other direction. The park features picnic tables along the water where one get enjoy lunch or a snack and there was also a large covered area where there were also group like settings with more tables. Looks like you could rent this area for a gathering or party. Overall, I wasn't all that impressed with this park as I know Green Valley has much prettier parks than this one.

Yelp
What a wonderful oasis in the heart of Henderson!!!! Water!!! Trees!!! Real green grass!!! Ducks!!! Trails!!! Makes my heart happy to know that a park like this is just a few minutes away from my neighborhood. What a great gift to the community from the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation. If you're itching to get outside to enjoy nature in a safe place, must visit Cornerstone Park! The park layout includes an expansive lake, which is home to the marsh, ducks, and geese. There are basketball and volleyball courts, community and private pavilion areas with picnic tables, public restrooms, and water fountains for humans and fur babies. The upper and lower trails, which are both paved and natural surfaces, are suited for walkers, runners, and bikers. One loop around the lake trail is about 1.25 miles. There is also a staircase closest to Wigwam Pkwy in case you're interested in getting your heart pumping even more. Pets must be kept on leash since an enclosed dog park is not available, but poopie bags are free to grab along the paved trail. Plenty of parking! Let's get outdoors!! The Fall weather right now is perfect to do so!!!
google avatar

Delphine T.

Yelp
I went for the annual Zombie Fun Run! It was great! There were so many people and costumes and the run/walk was awesome. Everyone was friendly and my family and I had a great time. The weather was nice and cool. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of bugs!! I'm not sure what type of bugs these were, but they were in clusters as you walk by in various places throughout the park along the run/walk, otherwise it was really nice family outting!! Thank you city of Henderson!

Yelp
"Do you wanna meet at the park?" was a frequent query earlier this year when businesses shuttered and there was nowhere to go. Too often, many of us forgot that public recreational spaces existed until they were the only saving graces as we strained to clutch onto some normalcy. At least that was the case for me. I've frequently driven down Wigwam and seen the man-made Railroad Lake intending to visit one day, but it never happened until this year. First impression: it's actually bigger than it looks from the road. Coffee meet-ups and afternoon walks were the usual suspects that warranted park visits. Something about strolling around a body of water makes exercise more fun and bearable, especially if you bring a friend along. People can be found partaking in picnics on the sprawling grass, walking their dogs, biking, running up the stairs, etc. I guess the positive part of the pandemic is that outdoor activity increased during the peak of the party. Just pay heed to the geese and their droppings.
google avatar

Steff A.

Yelp
This is large open 100 acres space park with the 31 acre "Railroad Lake" showcased in the center. There are multiple trails that encircle it and this park has something for everyone. Runners/walkers: The trials around the lake can be around a mile depending on which paths you take. There are paved and dirt paths and the motion sensored lighting on the paved roads are bright if you visit in the evening. Courts: Basketball courts and sand volleyball courts are present to get your game on. Picnickers, loungers and dog owners: There's a large grass area for everyone to run around in. There's shaded individual tables as well as a large patio pavilion next to the bathroom which is utilized for special events here. FYI there's tons of geese that wander and it brings character to this lovely park. There's plenty of parking which makes this park an easy visit for visitors. This is a great park to visit when you need to get outside. Enjoy!

Yelp
What: park with paved trail around a man-made lake, basketball courts, picnic tables in the shade. Plenty of grassy areas but there are so many geese that there's a lot of poop in the grass. We enjoyed getting some fresh air and walking the easy, flat trail that surrounded the lake. I think it was a little over a mile. Nice to see the different birds, ducks, turtles and geese. The water doesn't look that pretty (murky, green), but at least it doesn't smell. Parking: parking lot with plenty of parking.
google avatar

Frank W.

Yelp
This is a well maintained park with a trail goes around a large drainage pond. We followed the trail around the pond while observing a wide variety of birds including coots, a yellow-headed blackbird and a few sandpipers. There is also a pavilion, grassy area, and picnic tables.
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
Large expansive open green park with multiple sheltered tables. Large restrooms. Easy parking. Lots of year round geese and their ground sculpture decorations. Beautiful oval watershed. Good round the big pond walk.
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
The first time I came to this park was years ago for a charity 5k run. It was perfect for our run and since then, I've been back multiple times. There's a big lake in the middle with a walking path that goes around it. On the south side, the path splits so you can do an easy walk closer to the water or you can opt for a slightly more challenging uphill walk. Plenty of people come here to enjoy the walking trail and you'll see lots of puppies and families. They have a big covered area with picnic tables and smaller individual tables closer to the lake, near the grassy area. Both have great views and shade. Recently, they've connected Cornerstone park to the Pittman Wash. So if you're looking for a longer walk, take the trail north and follow the signs.

Yelp
This park is amazing! It has something for everyone but my favorite is the trail around the lake. Perfect to walk my dog or for runners. I envy the apartments that have this great view. There is a parking lot. Bird watching recommended!
google avatar

Roxanne E.

Yelp
This park is beautiful! When I feel like going for a walk or a jog I usually come here because of the view and fresh air! This park contains a basketball court, volleyball net in the sand, a fitness court, a beautiful pond with ducks, restrooms, an open field and picnic areas. The park is well maintained, which is nice! The park can get populated with people and dogs during different times of the day. I definitely will be back here soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Gorgeous park with a body of water in the busy city of Henderson. Beautiful views and great place to hang out, have a picnic, or get some exercise! There are a few shaded picnic tables right by the lake. Get there early to claim them! Lots of parking and this park is easy to find. Lots of ducks, goose, and birds roaming around the park. Definitely would recommend dropping by here if you are in the area and just want to relax!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
such a beautiful park! Very peaceful and lots of picturesque views for sunrise/sunset. There's a 1.3 mile trail that takes about 20 mins walking. Great for biking, dog walking, running or jogging. Lots of geese and ducks, please don't feed them. Hatching season is April-may and it takes 10 weeks for them to mature so beware of protective mothers and extra animal droppings during that time.
google avatar

Kayla R.

Yelp
A beautiful oasis in the Henderson area! This is my favorite park to walk my dog! We try to come swing by at least once a month and go for a stroll around the giant lake. There's really so much to do at this park. They have basketball courts, a large grass area to run and play, areas for families and friends to gather for BBQs, a trail around the lake which has lots of ducks and swans, a playground and more. Our favorite thing to do is to walk around the lake. Some parts of it is paved and other parts are dirt, but it doesn't bother us much. It's a nice long walk and something a little more special than our traditional walk around the neighborhood. They also always seem to have different events and festivals going on at this park so always something to do if you like that sort of thing!
google avatar

Yelp
Cornerstone Park is a great place to be. You can walk around or play sports. There are a lot of birds to see. There is an entrance to the mole people tunnels. You'll have a blast.

Yelp
Mood - Picnic ( Covid19 Edition Phase 2 ) Upon entering you see this amazing 31 acre lake nestled amidst the backdrop of houses and scenic views of the mountains that adorn our valley from all sides. This park has become home to several hundred species of birds and other wildlife. It is situated on 100 acres and carefully planned to have something for everyone ranging from pavilions, volleyball, basketball, bike path, trails, and individual covered table areas complete with their own barbecue. While we were there, employees were ensuring the cleanliness of the park. This was refreshing to see that this community takes pride in their park while allowing it to be shared by all. Would thoroughly recommend - as it is a great time to get outside and enjoy nature. There are plenty of garbage receptacles along with signage to inform you of any potential hazards. Dogs are welcome just remember to pick up after your fur babies as this is something for everyone to enjoy. Location is Wigwam/ Arroyo Grande - ample parking

Yelp
After my daughter learned to ride her bike, this is where she learned to ride long distance. Perfect open path around the water. There is a little hill on the path that takes you up to a bench that overlooks the park, such a beautiful and rewarding view after that climb up the hill. Geese can always been seen around walking or in the water. There is a big open grass area for field sports. As well as a shaded area with several tables to have gatherings. I like that it doesn't have a playground only because it makes our kids enjoy the outdoors and nature more, instead of just being on a playground equipment.
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
This was a really nice, clean and well-maintained park! I was here for an ultramarathon event and got quite familiar with the park. There's the Railroad Lake in the middle of the park. Around the perimeter of this lake is a nice paved trail suitable for running and walking. There's also a grassy area on the Western section of the park near the Southern end of the parking lot. Also located next to the parking lot near the Northern end are a couple of basketball courts. This park has a lot of geese and their goslings.
google avatar

Marie T.

Yelp
Ok Covid19, you can go away now! Your presence has caused many mental breakdowns, especially being cooped up in a house with two children under the age of 4. You know all those bad ass Chuck Norris jokes? Well Chuck Norris just spent the day with my kids and got his a$$ handed to him on a plate. Anyway, we needed to get the kids out of the house to let their wiggles out. I specifically picked this park since there is no jungle gym/playground area. If my son saw a jungle gym right now, he'd be so upset if I didn't let him climb on it. This is a large park with a huge grassy area, walking paths, a small lake/pond whatever you want to call it, and of course the ducks and geese roaming around. I was worried when we pulled in because there were a lot of cars and thought it would be crowded with people. This was not the case however. Since the park is so large, there was plenty of space to run around. Everyone was out enjoying the wonderfully warm weather and practicing good social distancing. My kids enjoyed their time outside where there was lots of rooms to run. It's was a great change of pace from having them just ride their tricycles around the block for exercise. My fearless little daughter had a blast trying to chase the geese. And my son loved just exploring and naming off everything that was in sight. I'm sure we will be back more now that Vegas is starting to loosen restrictions again. Tip: just be careful on the grassy area. Since the geese like to roam around, watch where you step. You don't want to be cleaning poop off your shoes.

Yelp
I took my family here after getting sick of all the crowd and noise in Vegas. Even though the park is close to the city, it still felt very serene. I loved the open layout of the park and wide open walking/biking trails. I'm not sure how big the park is, but it seemed like it was about a mile to mile and a half in distance walking around the perimeter of the park. There are two loop trails. One is a paved trail on the upper (outside) area, and the other is a combination of dirt and paved surface on the lower (inner) level. Both trails are pretty flat so they are good for casual walking or biking. This park has a HUGE parking lot, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts (but no nets), picnic benches & tables, bathrooms, and sufficient grass area. There are lots of ducks and geese at the lake so just watch out for their poop. I took off one star because some of the informational signs were faded from the sun and were difficult to read.

Yelp
Review #601 Cornerstone Park has been a staple in our lives. We enjoy coming here to walk around, go on jogs/run, and to enjoy the fresh air and wind. Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed. :-) Lots of walking trail, plenty of benches and seating areas for bbqs, and a basketball court. It's huge and has a lot of parking! You definitely can bring your bikes! Just be careful of all the ducky poop!

Yelp
I just relocated to town in the midst of the crazy pandemic, so it's been nice to take walks at this park with my dog and get some fresh air! We've gone on Saturday mornings and have enjoyed the paved paths and scenery. I haven't tried out any of the facilities yet, but the park seems to be very well kept. You can watch the geese and ducks on the lake, and I even spotted a little rabbit in the brush on my loop around. I'm so excited to come here for exercise and the beautiful sights.

Yelp
I'm so blessed to live by this gem. It has something for everyone. Some exercise groups do meet up here you are free to join them as well. Ride your bike, electric scooters, roller skate, walk your dogs etc. Gorgeous scenery to watch endless sunsets, walking/ running trails are open 24/7. They even have motion activated lights if you're walking at night. very safe, family oriented park. There's a picnic area, basketball courts, volleyball courts, duck/geese & dragonfly ponds. The animals will come up to you as they are used to humans, but I will advise to watch your children around the geese as they are large in size, will hiss and chase if they feel threatened. Please don't feed them , as it actually makes them sick. We later learned from a credible veterinarian. Since it is in a residential neighborhood, trash, excessively loud noise, violence etc. will not be tolerated. You will definitely have a lovely day & not be disappointed coming here. My daily therapy!

Yelp
Cornerstone Park is a nice place to visit where you can be with nature but not get away from the city. Located in Henderson, NV, it consists of a lake and a marsh. There are two walking/biking trails (upper and lower) that goes around the lake/marsh where you can see the wildlife. There's also a basketball court and a volleyball court, as well as a picnic area with restrooms. I really enjoyed just getting away from it all here.

Yelp
I live right across the street from this park and I consider it a blessing. This park is always very clean, well lit and has ample amounts of parking if you plan on hosting an event. There are volleyball courts, basketball courts, a grassy area, some dessert space and a huge expansive lake. I think they're geese (could be totally wrong) and duck here that frequent/live at the lake. I would recommend it to anyone looking to host a summer BBQ because the grill area is covered. It's also great for night walks because all of the lights are bright LED and are motion activated.

Yelp
I absolutely love this park. It's such a pretty escape from city life. It's nice to see people out and about enjoying life after the last couple years of craziness. This park has a nice size lake filled with plenty of ducks and geese. And there's a trail that goes all the way around it great for walking or riding your bike. If that's not what you're into. They also have a basketball court, fitness area, volleyball area , or just a nice large grassy area great for flying your kites, playing your favorite sport , or just hanging out with your loved ones. Overall a perfect spot to relax.
