Have had several great meals here over the last week. Two times the prime rib special and one after midnight steak and eggs. Price points can’t be beat. Each meal was well prepared, decoratively plated, served hot, and tasted great. Can’t ask for anything more! Portion size never leaves me with enough room for desert is my only downside. 😉😊

Recently went here for the late night Steak and Eggs. Doesn’t start until midnight but queue starts at 11 so would recommend getting there early. Tastes like your classic diner steak and eggs. Hash browns are delicious and the coffee is one of the best in Vegas. Worth your tenner!

The food itself wasn’t the issue…the issue was our waitress, Barbara. From the moment she sat us down, she gave us a bad attitude. We didn’t understand why and we continued to be very pleasant with her. When she took our orders, the waitress under her, Anavic, would come and bring out our drinks. Anavic would ask us if there was anything else we needed, never Barbara. When my mom asked Barbara for a fresh refill of coffee because there was a NOTICEABLE difference between the coffee Barbara gave her and the coffee Anavic would bring-Barbara cut her off and rudely exclaimed all the coffee was from the same dispenser, so what our EYES were telling us was a lie. After seeing Lisa, a supervisor, come our way, I explained everything to her and while I’m explaining to her how Barbara had treated us, SHE witnessed with her own eyes Barbara march over to us with an attitude and demand to know what we’re telling Lisa she did now!?! Lisa, told her to go away and I told her that she could keep doing what she had been doing this whole time and ignore what I’m telling her supervisor. When Lisa saw it was Barbara, she didn’t seem surprised at all! Lisa tried to compensate us for our soups, but we didn’t want compensation because we didn’t come to this place to try to get some free Won Ton soup! We came to eat and enjoy our meal, not to have to deal with HORRENDOUS customer service. Lisa, took off our drinks and we had to tell her how AWESOME Anavic was towards us compared to Barbara. We have NEVER faced this much open hostility from ANYONE let alone a restaurant employee over absolutely nothing! The food was pretty good, but what, SEVERELY, put a damper on our whole experience was the unjust treatment we received from Barbara.

I came here with my dog who is a 12 pound service dog and was treated very rudely. The supervisor Deana had 2 security officers interrogate me about what type of service my dog performs. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), restaurants are not allowed to ask what service a service dog performs because it's illegal to discriminate against people with disabilities. I provided them with the information and was allowed to enter. Once we were sat at our table, the supervisor Deana rudely told me to put my dog on the floor, making a huge scene like we were criminals, speaking so loudly that everyone around stared at us. Again, according to the ADA, service animals can be seated next to the owner, especially depending on the service the animal provides. We decided to leave but came back without my dog so I could try out the food. The food was great for the price. Our waiter was amazing. But the supervisor, Deana was on a power trip and clueless about the ADA rules.

Google
First time trying Coronado Cafe. Prices were kinda high for what it was. Sunday special Turkey dinner was great for $13. Beef Chow Fun was good but overpriced. Country Breakfast was ok but over priced. Chicken and broccoli was over priced and not great. Additional photos on my profile page and videos on my YouTube page

Came in for the late night special. It really wasn't that special. Sure, it was cheap but the taste of the food? Non-existent. The service? Mediocre The atmosphere? Sad The coffee? $4 Not sure I'd ever come back unless I was coming back from an all night bender and starving and only had $10 to spend.

19.99 PRIME RIB! Best first time visit! Upon entering the restaurant, there is a very long line. It did took awhile to be seated. When seated, we were greeted with our server, Marlon. Marlon is a phenomenal server and was patient in guiding us through our sides. My table ordered two prime ribs and a shrimp cocktail. When our shrimp cocktail came out, it was a little underwhelming for $10. However, the main course blew our mind away. The prime rib was very delicious! It came with two sides and horseradish. The steak was cooked to my liking, medium rare. Without the sauce, the steak tasted very good. I totally recommend this place for a light night out.

I visited this restaurant with some friends. The food was just ok, it wasn’t great. I ordered a Rueben with French fries. The Rueben didn’t have any condiments on it, they did bring me condiments even though I didn’t ask for them to be on the side. The French fríes were barely warm. We had a great server and the food was pretty inexpensive. I would visit again but I would order something different. They also had plenty of seating in the restaurant.

Yelp
Vegas certainly has changed. Well, let me clarify. I'm not referring to the stereotypical "when the mob ran the town" stories. I'm referring to casino basics. Free parking, white tigers, buffets, showgirls, and most relevant to this review, 24 hour coffee shops. Not more than 10 years ago every single hotel casino in Las Vegas had a 24 hour coffee shop with generally good prices, large menus, and plenty of hungover tourists. These places have largely disappeared or evolved into food courts and limited hour overpriced café's. Although Station casinos still have their 24 hour places, they went lightly upscale and converted their Grand Café's to Brass Forks or Spoons or whatever. But I digress. South Point is truly keeping the dream alive with a classic, well staffed, affordable, and high quality 24 Hour Coffee shop called Coronado Cafe. It's almost always very busy with locals and tourists alike. Late night specials, a phenomenal Chinese menu, breakfast 24/7, and no takeout allowed. It's classic late 90's Vegas. They even have the old school service staff where there's a beverage server as well as food server. South Point is special for many reasons. It's one of the only completely privately owned casino resorts, with ownership being held 100% by Michael Gaughan. It has a massive bowling centre, movie theater, equestrian centre, buffet, and a classic 24 hour coffee shop that never disappoints.

Yelp
It was late night, and I was emerging from the desert highway. I needed to use the restroom, and I wanted a hot sit-down meal. I figured the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa could offer both. This was my first time visit to this property. Coronado Cafe is a 24-hour eatery, and it was the only restaurant open at that hour. Looking at my surroundings, the decor seemed a bit dated--but dated by choice, versus in need of a makeover. Examining the menu, the selections are classic diner meals. I believe is the restaurant's real niche is breakfast food, as there was a robust roster, compared to other meals. On this occasion, I ordered the open-faced turkey sandwich. It is sliced turkey (breast meat), served on top of white bread. Gravy is poured over the turkey and the side serving of mashed potato. There is also a serving of dressing. With a Pepsi and tax, my ticket was about $25.00. In summary: The turkey was acceptable: not too moist, but not too dry. The white bread reminded me of Wonder Bread. The mashed potato was dense, not a light, creamy type preparation. I did try the dressing, but I didn't care for it. The meal was okay. You can say that the style of preparation and presentation is "classic" or "old fashioned" and apply whatever interpretation you want to those adjectives.

Yelp
Service is usually friendly- Little slow especially the times we go but nonetheless they're kind 12am-6am $6.45 steak & eggs Obviously steak quality isn't amazing But it's NOT BAD Served with hash browns eggs & toast (you can sub eggs for egg whites and/or hash brown for fries) CANT BEAT IT

Craig T.

Yelp
This place is located inside the South point Hotel and casino on S.Las Vegas Blvd. It's their 24hr coffee shop restaurant. Service is very friendly and they kept coming around our table for beverage refills. I had their Friday special you cannot go wrong @ $12.95 French dip roast beef sandwich w/ either Potato salad or French fries. I would definitely come back if I'm gambling at the South Point hotel and casino in the future.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. Growing up in Vegas we love great deals..so we love Southpoint. We been coming here for Late night $6 steak and eggs after midnight for years. They also offer 16oz porterhouse steak and the prime rib special for about $21 each until 11pm. There's hardly anywhere that will have great deals like this anymore. I'm always enjoying how tender the prime rib is and they give you all kinds of sauces like au jous, horseradish, salad, and potato everything you need just ask. Service was great, I forgot who it was but he was either vietnamese or thai, a super nice guy. There's so much value in these specials if you're looking for the best deals for the yummy food that they have, this cafe is where it's at. The cafe Ambiance, is like any regular casino cafe, but it's very large, and seats plenty of guests. It gets particularly busy at midnight on weekends. So worth it. Bill for 16oz Porterhouse Steak, Sea Bass, and Prime Rib to share was about $80, enough to feed 5 adults, what a steal!

Yelp
I come here for French Onion Soup. I sit at the counter. I don't know if this is true, but I don't doubt it: I was told it's the soup that they use upstairs in the higher end restaurants. To me, it's that good. I can tell by the depth of the broth that really take their time with the onions. It's topped off with delicious bread and a healthy layer of cheese that gets broiled to an oooey, gooey goodness. I don't recall the price, but it's very reasonable. They have a huge menu- something for everyone. Late night specials, breakfast all day, even a Chinese menu! For me, the French Onion Soup is comforting and good for the soul. 10/10.

Michelle A.

Yelp
I usually like the food inside of South point but was disappointed with the food I had in the cafe. I was in between the Chinese menu and regular menu and asked the server for his opinion, he told me to go with the Chinese menu. I should've known better than to do that. I mean it's a café not a Chinese restaurant. I want against my better judgment and ordered the Kung pao chicken, which was mainly vegetables the sauce was not spicy, and the chicken was not diced or cut. It was rolled up pieces of chicken and a bunch of veggies and instead of the spicy peppers that usually would come in Kung pao, there were jalapeño peppers. My husband ordered the ninth island breakfast and said it was ok. There are so many good dining options at side of Southpoint casino. I don't see me ever coming back to the café.

Yelp
Can you really beat a late night breakfast special? You would think the Midnight to 6 am time slot would be slow, but when you have amazing deals and decent food, its kinda hard not to beat. Everytime we have been for the late night special, the ambiance is bright and bubbly, they don't make it feel like the middle of the night. Service is always impecable! Its fast and attentive, they are also very efficient. Here is what we've ordered: Biscuits and Gravy: its listed as an app and it is definitely no appitizer, its a whole meal. Its 3 whole biscuits with a ton of gravy. The deal on this is less than five dollars, and it is a mouthful Would definitely order again in a heartbeat. Breakfast Sandwich: the pancake is sandwiched with a big piece of ham. The ham is not very salted and its a bit out of place. I would've preferred it separate Steak and Eggs for $7, it taste as good as it is priced. Its cooked to a doneness that is far more than what I would want, but all together still a great deal. Vanilla Milkshake, not on the late night, but a creamy dessert. A bit too thick to drink though so we had to leave most of it. I love this late night place and I definitely recommend it

Yelp
It has become a tradition that we eat Prime Rib at Coronado Cafe. They ha e tbe BEST prime rib! We also noticed the chinese food options so we tried the hot and sour soup. We had a side of crunchy noodles. Everything was delicious. The service is fast and friendly. We love it here...5 stars all the way

Yelp
Time to update since my last review a couple of years ago. Meeting a friend who is staying at South Point. The cafe has lots of brunch options. I opted for a California omelet. Loaded with shrimp, a huge portion of avocado, and lots of melted Jack Cheese - yummm. Comes with potatoes and toast. Service was excellent. Tables are nicely spaced so you don't hear anyone else's conversations. Reasonable prices - overall a good value.

Joe P.

Yelp
Early bird special here is the best. I haven't seen a place that offers early special in a long time. Steak and eggs, can't go wrong. Customer service is good. Come before 6am.

Dean L.

Yelp
For $13.71 I had the midnight steak special and a side of toasted spam. Asked for gravy, hot water, honey and lemon on the side. The steak is listed as 7oz but when cooked rare its larger than advertised it comes with hashbrown, 2 eggs and toast. (Pro move Turned the toast into a spam and egg sandwich dipped in gravy to soften the saltiness. A solid 4 stars for most of the food served and combined with service by Ernesto I would definitely recommend.

Ricky R.

Yelp
I have gone to the Coronado Cafe thrice from midnight to 6:00 am for their daily late-night special. I arrived twice, around 4:00 and 5:00 am, and encountered one person in line and a small line. The other time I arrived shortly after midnight, I discovered a lengthy line that made me consider leaving. However, they do an excellent job moving the line fast to get customers seated! I ordered the steak meal special with two eggs, toast ( I love sourdough toast), and hashbrowns. I wasn't fond of hashbrowns, but I learned you can substitute hashbrowns for country potatoes and French fries. I tried the country potatoes, and I liked them better than the hashbrowns, but they didn't blow me away. Another server mentioned rice as a substitute option. I ordered the steak well done the first time, and the meat tasted good but too dry for my taste, so the next time I ordered my steak medium rare, I found that the steak was more tender and satisfactory. On my most recent visit, I ordered the ham steak meal and substituted an extra toast for hashbrowns. I liked the ham steak. Each table has all the essential condiments you will need, too, such as salt, pepper, and Smuckers jelly in strawberry, grape, and orange marmalade. I didn't care for the orange marmalade jelly; the strawberry is my favorite. Additional condiments include A1, ketchup, soy, and hot sauce. My waiter, Sharee, was super attentive on my second visit, and the female server on my most recent visit, whose name escapes me, provided excellent service, too! Coronado Cafe's late-night special gets five stars because of the bang for your buck, and a full meal for less than 7.00 is hard to find! The staff were pleasant and professional, operating the restaurant like a well-oiled machine to get customers sat and fed! I would return, and I plan to try the other late-night special food items.

Yelp
The secret is out for this old-school late-night Vegas Classic.. I stay here frequently and yes, I make sure that when I come back to my room, I make a stop for the Late Nite Specials!!! Prices are high everywhere, but NOT HERE :-) The classic Steak & Eggs is the favorite for all... comes with a choice of toast and & hashbrowns. And did I say how much.... $6.45... Not a typo, but you know I've been coming for quite some time as I remember when the same special was $4.95 before the Pandemic. You can only get 1 per person but I typically stay a few nights for business and take advantage of the favorable tables and slots in the Casino. My other go-to item in the cafe is the Cheebuger (1/2lb) with all the fixings and fries for $4.95. A long line typically builds at Midnight but the line moves pretty fast. If your solo, hit the bar stools... that was me the last time as I left everyone behind, hit the tables for about 3+ hours, and needed to eat ASAP :-) Solid late night spot!!

Yelp
Back again! I'm glad to see the actual cafe is back open now. My partner and I came back for the prime rib. Coffee tasted better this time. Salad is still good. We got fewer rolls than we did before, and these ones looked smaller. They still aren't served warm, which is a bummer.. but I like bread so it's okay! I like my meat served rare, and it was delicious and tender. Still wish the horseradish had more of a kick.. Au jus is fine. My fries were overcooked this time. I'm still impressed you can have a delicious meal like this as a fantastic price. Waitress was awesome. Great service. I feel that a good prime rib dinner is just iconic. It's Vegas!

Rustin L.

Yelp
Saw "Let's Eat Vegas" vote this place as best hotel prime rib over runner-up and my go to Ellis Island, and third place Jerry's Nugget. For me I'd probably rank them Ellis Island first, Jerry's Nugget second and Coronado third. I just prefer a bigger, thicker piece as a more satisfying prime rib experience. With that said, every place that serves prime rib has their good and bad nights. I've probably been to Ellis Island around 20 times and maybe twice it was just OK. I've been to the other places just once, and Jerry's was quite satisfying but not quite Ellis Island experience. And the smaller portion at Coronado could have still won if the quality had surpassed the others, but although the quality was good, it wasn't superior to the point where I'd prefer the smaller cut. But that's me. Additionally, I requested medium rare leaning more towards rare, but instead I got medium rare leaning more towards medium. It wasn't super juicy, no matter how many times I dunked it in au jus. And additional salt and pepper was needed for flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy were maybe slightly better than Ellis Island. My wife's steak was fairly tough and not exceptional. In comparison, the ribeye at Jackson's grill is about the same price and much more satisfying. The other odd thing I found here, was you can only order one entree per person. I saw they had a pastrami sandwich on special for Wednesday, so I tried to order one to go, so I could sample more of their menu as a first-time visitor. However, they didn't allow me to order it and also don't allow to go orders. Explanation given to me was that their prices are so low, they only have it priced that way to get you to the hotel and hopefully spend money on gambling, entertainment, drinking, etc, but not here to be a typical "full service" restaurant. Ok . I'll either try the buffet next time where I can get a thicker cut or go to their dine in restaurant upstairs Primarily Prime Rib.

Yelp
Coronado Cafe is located inside the South Point Hotel on the casino floor . It's open 24 hours and service is always fast and friendly. They have amazing graveyard special entrees ranging from $2.95 to $6.45 served seven days a week. My favorite is the 7 oz N.Y steak , two eggs, hash browns, toast& jelly all for $6.45. . One of the best deals in Vegas. They also have an extensive Chinese food menu that starts at 11 am until midnight.

Timothy Spencer T.

Yelp
TLDR: You're paying for steak and eggs under $7. You shouldn't expect much and the dish itself isn't much to call home about. Steak and Eggs: The steak could've been better. Under seasoned and a touch overcooked. It's what you can expect from a diner in the middle of nowhere. Buttered bread and eggs are hard to mess up, and they did fine here. The hash browns were quite flavorless and it felt like you were just eating starch. Service: Solid diner style service. It was the post midnight cheap steak rush, so the staff were up on their toes but did well to keep up with the demand. Ambiance: The spacious restaurant was quite comfortable. There is just a problem of being inside a Vegas casino, which means having a general cigarette smell on the background. Not the best, but it's easy to ignore once you're used to it.

Brittney P.

Yelp
A basic casino diner/cafe. I only went here for breakfast. My croissant was just okay. the meat tasted like the microwaved it and put it on a soggy old croissant. Portion size was big.

Sam H.

Yelp
Our group wanted prime rib after a day of bowling, so we decided to try this place because they offered a good deal as well as other food for other members of the party. We were immediately sat even with a fairly full house. Once we were seated a lady was very quick to take our drink orders. Then our waitress (I believe her name was Cecilia) took our orders. She was very friendly, attentive and professional. I opted for the Prime Rib Special which comes with a 10 oz cut, choice of vegetable (I chose baked potato) and soup or salad (I opted for salad). Once everything was delivered, everything was prepared well and tasted good. The prime rib was provided as requested and had a nice seasoning crust. This is a large facility centered in the casino that includes counter seating. The entire staff was friendly, attentive and courteous.

Jay B.

Yelp
If you need something to eat then this is the place. It's not the best and not the worst. After midnight they have steak and eggs for under $10 dollars. This time I had the California omelette. This place is like a Dennys with double the options. The service is about the same as Dennys.

Andrew N.

Yelp

Yelp
Service was fast and kind, food just average for a steak and eggs can't complain, ambience was full but like in and out customers so was no delay in the door to get a table

Christina K.

Yelp
One of the gems of Chinese food in the Las Vegas Valley. You wouldn't think to come to the Southpoint cafe for Chinese food but I discovered a long time ago that they have a full menu with a variety of dishes and the Egg Foo Young is pretty darn good! I usually sit at the counter and occasionally in a booth and service is usually really good. They come right away and are attentive. The Chicken Egg Foo Young is my favorite and I like the brown gravy that comes with it. It is served with three good sized patties so it's definitely a shareable dish with one appetizer (think of a soup or potstickers). Chinese dishes come with complimentary hot tea and crunchy noodles and dip. The dish also comes with a bowl of rice.

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Arrived around 12:15 AM (Weekday), and there was a line. We had to wait maybe 15-20 minutes to be seated. Weekends are probably super busy! Service is mediocre, and can be slow at times, so don't exactly expect to walk in and out if you're arriving at midnight. They have a special menu 12 AM - 6 AM (daily) that is SO CHEAP. This includes breakfast items, burgers, and the famous steak. $6.45 for steak, eggs, potatoes, bread. WOW. Can't find this anywhere else. Don't come expecting the best steak ever, but this satisfies! Eggs were done just as I'd asked for, and the potatoes complement the steak well. Everyone around us was visibly happy, especially with such amazing deals going on at midnight, so what's there not to like? Enjoy yourself, expect to spend 1-1.5 hours here (wait + ordering + eating), and this will be a great time!

Kenny T.

Yelp
This place is truly the bomb, I been here many times They also have the $6.99 from midnight until 6am, steak and eggs But what I really love is their combination fried rice, I know it sound funny, American cafe and you order their fried rice? Yes, is really good, put some hot chilly oil over it. Mmmmmmmm I want to go now. lol But their Chinese menu ending at midnight, so go back tomorrow during business hours This place is 24/7, and they do not allow take out, but I'm not sure if you can't finish, you can take left over home or not. Like I said before, I been here many times, I also walked away many times, due to the long wait line, so is all depending when you go and if there any big event hosting at the hotel, casino Make sure you give their fried rice a tried!!

Dan D.

Yelp
Increase in price and decrease in portion. Taste is okay. Chow fun appears to be kiddie size.

Jessica W.

Yelp
We are locals and the only reason we came here is because my Taiwanese husband kept pestering me to come here because the sign outside by the freeway says "Great Chinese food". (Eye roll). Food: Buddha's delight, sea bass, shrimp fried rice. Comes with white rice, Chinese tea and weird fried noodles. Everything was too salty and of course not authentic at all. Even for Americanized Chinese food, I think you are better off at local places like Lucky China. Ambiance: inside South Point casino so the air quality bothered me. Service: we had to wait in line about 30 minutes as they had a few large parties. It also took a while for our waitress to come around. We had to ask for the tea. Obviously won't be back again and my husband finally has the mystery solved. It's false advertising and the sign should say "meh Chinese food".

Dennis T.

Yelp
Dining here again with friends, I opened with Wonton Soup, which was a very good choice. But then I decided to go the rest of the way with the regular menu, and, boy, was I disappointed with the result. I ordered Country Fried Steak, which came with Mashed Potatoes and Country Gravy, a few vegetables from the squash and zucchini family, and a roll without any butter. The Mashed Potatoes were fine, the Country Gravy excellent, and the vegetables overcooked but okay. Not so for the Country Fried Steak, which was likely the worst I have ever attempted to eat. Once it emerged from its coating of gravy, the large speckled patty was very poorly breaded, greatly overcooked, and the meat as tough as I imagine shoe leather would be if I tried to eat it. During attempts to cut through it, the dense beef seemed like it was consciously fighting against the knife. The included salad with French Dressing was fine, but nothing special. I have long been a fan of this place but now realize that items from the Chinese menu have always been consistently excellent, but I have had little familiarity with offerings from the regular menu. My bowl of Wonton Soup included three dumplings and was packed with more lean pork than I needed. The broth was very hot, and the entire concoction quite tasty. Just so, the three other diners at my booth all voiced their approval of the Chinese dishes they ordered: Mongolian Chicken, Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Fried Rice. I will continue to dine here, but will be likely not to tread far from the several offerings that appear on the superior Chinese menu. For, the Coronado Cafe consistently turns out outstanding Cantonese fare that can hold its own pitted against any of the several fine restaurants in Las Vegas that are solely dedicated to cooking and serving only Chinese food.

16oz porterhouse or 7oz prime rib $6.45 steak and eggs, and Chinese food before midnight are all enticing. But, the porterhouse was tough and charred, not seared as requested. During Christmas vacation between Dec 16-24th the drinks are $2 at the bars. Get the prime rib steak and eggs special and you are living large for $9. Jeremy is a very good server who was kind and professional. The cafe is nice and not too noisy. The decor is like other coast casinos but a little more classy. It's a great place to stay during Christmas vacation. We were treated like high rollers for a bottom basement price. Nothing but goodness here before midnight. It can be super slow. On our second night at South Point, the food was ultra-slow. Our server was slow. The front desk was slow. It's slow. Agalia D was not a good server. Sassy is one thing but overtly rude is another. She took our order for the steaks and accompanying salads. The steaks came out 25 minutes later without the salads. Do not sit at her tables. We'll try the Chinese food next. No Chinese food after midnight except through room service. And there are no take-out orders after midnight. There are too many little rules and policies for their menu. We would appreciate a little more freedom with menu items and more consistency in server performance. The manager and Jeremy, the server, were kind and professional. It's pretty much the only eatery that's open 24 hours a day. After a few drinks, nobody ought to drive off looking for food. So, I hope the management understands that it would be best for the community to create more and improved food offerings at the amazing South Point Casino.

Yelp
Our server, Harold, was excellent. Food came Out fast and the prices were very reasonable. We went here for Christmas dinner since both my husband and I worked so we both didn't have time to prepare food at home. And we were very happy with the experience!

Yelp
Still a great deal, the midnight specials at south point casino, in this inflationary period. The steak and eggs is $6.45 and if your solo you can always walk in and tell them your seating at the bar seating. There's always a line at midnight for the specials but the line moves quick. I don't think there's a better in Vegas that serves steak and eggs for this price. For what it is the steak is pretty decent . Here's a tip, where they get you is if you order a drink like a soda or lemonade or ice tea. It's like $4 almost the cost of the meal. What I do is bring a water filter called go-pure size of a Brazil nut and it filters everything in 2 minutes. Las Vegas tap water doesn't taste so great. I carry it with me everywhere I travel. Turns any tap water into fresh filtered water. They also have a 1/2 burger and fries for $4.95 which is also a good deal but why get ground beef when you can get steak. So if your near south point or looking for a late night bargain then Coronado cafe at midnight is your place

Yelp
Good food, very friendly and professional staff. Service was great and very convenient

Yelp
I was aware of this late night restaurant that was open after midnight. I decided on the ny steak, eggs and hash browns. Well I'll never order the steak again, it was the toughest steak I have ever try to chew. I went back a week later and ordered the eggs, hash browns and bacon. I wanted to order a porterhouse also. I was told the most absurd policy I have heard. I was told that they were not allowed to serve two entries/meals. I thought they were kidding but a manager came and repeated the policy. I was floored by that absurd policy. I really hope management will read this review and remedy this seriously absurd policy.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE going to Coronado Cafe for their steak and eggs midnight special! "Steggs", as locals call it, are the #1 reason this place gets packed every night! But they also have a shrimp cocktail, biscuits and gravy, ham steak & eggs, and cheeseburger specials :) midnight specials go from 12-6am! A group of friends and I went and it was phenomenal! All of our food came out perfectly and the service was great as always. Coming here so often, we always see the same staff and they always give out amazing service. Food can be a hit or miss some days because my steak gets a little over cooked but it won't stop me from coming back again! The go to spot for locals whenever we want a midnight "snack" or after a night of going out :)

Yelp
Stop in for some breakfast got seated quickly drinks served right away food looked great I got the avocado toast which looked so good unfortunately my toast was hard to cut through so I ate everything but the bread my husband's sausage patties were a bit tough and they forgot to bring his side of bacon. We're in a casino so it's going to be a bit loud but the food was ok. Menu has a lot to pick from

Yelp
Service was good. Food was ehhhh. Nothing too fancy, cafe food. Breakfast was simple. The line is super long but moves fast. Simple fast and convenient x

Yelp
Food was good, as was the service. The atmosphere was more like a cafeteria and is not someplace you'd go for the ambience, but it's quiet and comfortable. Located on the inside of the South Pointe Casino.

Yelp
Great cafe with decent food. My family and I have been there 2x in the last week. The first time, I ordered breakfast with the biscuits and gravy. I would give this dish a 7.5/10. The biscuits were just okay but my biggest complaint was with the gravy. It was thicker than I like, so that when it cooled down, it turned more like into a thick paste. The dish required some additional salt and pepper in order to make it more edible. The second time was last night and we ordered some wings with the buffalo sauce on the side. I also tasted the buffalo wings the first night from my sister's plate but I did not like the sauce. This time my brother-in-law ordered the sauce on the side and it was much better. The wings minus the sauce were excellent and I would have rated them a 9.0/10. With the sauce, it would be a lowly 6.5. I thought the sauce just made it too tangy and spicy. My main entree was the Coronado Turkey Club with fries and it met the standard for Club sandwiches. No complaints on this one. However, the service was exceptional on both nights that we were there, so I commend the staff for their attention and always refilling our water glasses and making sure we did not need anything. Overall, this is a solid cafe and me and my family love coming here. I have yet to appear here after midnight to partake of there midnight specials like steak and eggs for $6.45 but maybe on my next review. But I would recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a good value meal any time of the day or night. Hard to find good value in this day and age of overpriced and lower quality food.

Yelp
Overall: 3.7/5 (dine in) There was a line to get seated at Coronado Cafe around 12:41 PM since they have these crazy price specials from midnight - 6 AM. My brother always told the family they had to try the $5 NY steak & eggs here which has gone up in price due to inflation but it's still very cheap. My whole family got the NY steak & eggs for $6.45 which comes with a side of buttered toast. You can choose how you want your steak & eggs cooked as well as what kind of bread you wanted. My husband and I shared so we got medium rare steak and scrambled eggs. He got white bread which was toasted perfectly and went so well with the butter. We haven't had a simple meal like that in awhile so it was definitely a comfort meal. The egg texture was good but it was kinda flavorless so we added some ketchup or salt/pepper. The steak wasn't bad. For the price, it's pretty dang good and worth the wait. Our server Lucio was engaging, funny, and looked so happy doing his job. He really makes the place lively so we appreciate his energy that late in the hour. Really great experience overall.

Yelp
Yes!!! That's our breakfast order around midnight 12:30am ;) This cafe is so lit. There are actually long wait lines for their graveyard special menu. Yes you read that right!! GRAVEYARD SPECIAL*** My husband & I, post our movie date decided to have some food and what's better than breakfast for dinner!!!! This cafe is located in the South Point hotel/casino. We ordered 2eggs, hashbrown, toast and substituted the bacon/sausage(not halal) for fries. Honestly the food was fine but the ambience around made it more enjoyable. It's a different alternate universe where people are having fun, enjoying breakfasts, having coffees and not worried about bed time ;p

Yelp
It's Wednesday September 25, 2024 at about 7:00pm. This place is always busy. Lot of free parking in their eight floor parking building. Went to the Coronado cafe. The restaurant was full but there was no line and we greet and seated immediately. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The hostess, the order taker, the server and the cashier were just wonderful. Tonight we ordered the 10oz prime rib medium well which included soup or salad and rolls for $19.99. While my wife felt that it was more on the medium side, she did eat most of it. She gave me the red parts to me. Lucky me LOL. I order the 16oz porterhouse medium with the soup and rolls also for $19.99. The steak was done perfectly and the soup was tasty. Drink refills came often and always with smile. The place is well appointed, bright and clean throughout. Can't wait to return to try other things on the menu and maybe the buffet too.

Yelp
We stopped here for breakfast as we were leaving Las Vegas. It is your basic Hotel/Casino generic cafe that every property has. There was a line, but it moved at a good pace. It was comfortable and the service was fine. I chose this cafe because it has some unique offerings that you don't see at every cafe. 3/5 - Loco Moco: In case you are not familiar, this is a burger patty on rice, covered in gravy and topped with an egg. A favorite dish of mine, but this was not the best gravy. 3/5 - Spam & Eggs: pretty good 3/5 - New York Steak & Eggs 3/5 - Bear Claw Mediocre food, but I still appreciate the variety.

Yelp
I come here for their graveyard specials from midnight to 6am! Usually around midnight there will be a LINE! Like a huge line that may discourage you from eating here. However, it does move along pretty quickly. & since youre inside a casino, you can take turns with someone in your party so you can play the slots while waiting lol. I always order the steak with eggs, hashbrowns, and toast (i love sourdough bread). I will say the hashbrowns do not have much flavor to them so i add salt. My sis usually gets the burger here, its a good size. Overall very cheap for the amount of food that you get. I love taking family who is visiting here, so they can see that not all of Vegas is expensive! Staff is quick and friendly.

Yelp
We were once again vacationing in Las Vegas and it happened to be a Monday when seniors can pay with half points so our breakfast destination was a given. The only change was on our arrival the cafe was in process of being cleaned so we headed a few doors down to Don Vito's where the cafe menu was being offered. My wife wisely requested eggs Benedict which proved to be good though over sauced. My southwest omelet with hatch chilies, melted cheeses and sour cream should not and will not be ordered again. Sides were very good so we will be back on a future Monday.

Yelp
We eat there Thanksgiving and Easter. We enjoy their holiday menus, reasonably priced, great food, excellent service. They are busy at Thanksgiving, plan to get there early. There are long lines after 1pm.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today for the first time to meet up with my cousin that's visiting in Vegas for the Rodeo. She waited online so by the time we arrived we were seated within 5 minutes. The cafe was very busy and lively. The menu had a nice variety of options with really reasonable prices. I had the BLT with coleslaw. My BLT was delicious. My bacon was cooked just the way I like it! Our waitress was super fast with taking our order and was very nice and attentive with making sure our cups were filled with water. For our party of 4 our lunch was only $64 not including tip. Great prices! Everything was really tasty. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
As I sat down to dig into my $6.45 steak and eggs, I pondered "is this how Neil Armstrong felt before he first stepped foot on the moon?" Eating food this cheap in the year 2023 genuinely feels like one giant leap for mankind. I'd to thank our finest scientists for making this moment possible. If we amended the Constitution to make a restaurant eligible to serve as president, I would campaign and vote for the Coronado Cafe. I have NO DOUBT they could get our inflation problem under control. The Costco Hot Dog can serve as VP. May God Bless Coronado Cafe and may God Bless the United States of America!

Yelp
Very nice experience at Coronado cafe. Good quick service. Shout out to Casino host Raphaela for providing me a dinner comp. Very kind lady. Very open concept place and friendly staff.
