Coronado's Mexican Restaurant & Bar

I loved this place. Came for dinner and got here early enough for happy hour. Had 2 crispy tacos and the Downtown (DTW) fries with carnitas... That was a meal itself... Extremely tasty. Nice waitress.

First time eating here I ordered the 2 soft chicken tacos they were delicious and I also had an order of fries they also were delicious the customer service was on point I'll def reccomend ppl to eat here and ill go back when I visit la again

Let me give a shoutout to Jessica the bartender! She is super sweet and her margaritas are so on point! As soon as we walked in, she greeted us and gave us time to look over the menu. Happy hour is awesome, I just wish wine was on that happy hour list. Nonetheless, the food was great and it's super close to home. I will definitely be back.

Carmen and Michael are the best bartenders in here, Service is amazing. Food isn’t the go to here since it’s basic and overpriced Mexican food. Also I wish they had better happy hour specials and pricing. The pitchers cost almost 20 bucks. If it wasn’t for the bartenders I would not go back.

I'm giving this place three stars because and only because the margaritas were good. My friend got the Seasonal Strawberry and said it was one of the best ones we had and I got the house margarita and it was good as well. Other than that the service was slow and they had no excuse because there were only 4 of us in the whole establishment that can only hold 55 people. We also had the chicken enchilada and a chicken quesadilla. The enchilada as smothers in way to much sauce that tasted like it was from the can and the quesadilla was okay nothing special.

I was in town on business and did a search of area Mexican places. My choice was Coronado's and they didn't disappoint me. This family run business is clean, friendly and serves up excellent food at a very resonalble price. They also make their own margarita mix that makes for a clean, fresh drink. Next time I'm in town I'll definately go back for more.

There food is great and drinks are too! Love their nachos, tacos and margaritas but prefer to take it to go. I can’t stand the smell of this place and wish they would do something about it. I would come more often but the smell of bleach and urine ruins my appetite!
