The 38 Best Restaurants in Indianapolis, Indiana | Eater

"In 2024, Hoosier native chefs Erin Kem and Logan McMahan purchased the restaurant and market Nicole Taylor’s Pasta from beloved restaurateurs Tony and Rosa Hanslits. They’ve since expanded the range of the landmark fresh pasta emporium beyond its Italian focus to incorporate recipes from across the Mediterranean. But Kem and McMahan continue to offer the daily, vegetable-focused lunch experience (which includes dots of poultry and seafood) that has become popular among Indy residents. The menu changes seasonally, but diners can expect grilled artichokes with fava bean puree, sweet potato wedges with tahini butter and dukkah, and a chicken pastilla with North African flavors. The market still features varieties of fresh pasta, olive oils, charcuterie, and more. Know before you go: The chef’s table dinners, already sold out for 2025, are worth booking ahead." - Brian Garrido

Healthy and satisfying the food is prepared well. The layout with plenty of seating options is cozy and very attractive. I love the store up front with lots of goodies. I highly recommend the bass with lentils and grilled bread with three spreads.

Google
The most disappointing meal I have in this overly hyped place. I had an awfully cooked eggplant involtini. Both the eggplant and chewy crispy pasta were poorly under-cooked and slapped with a can tomato paste and accompanied with 2 pieces of buttered toast. The quiet atmosphere at 1pm on a Saturday was good for chatting over coffee.

Lesli Gibson

Google
Had the absolute pleasure of attending a chef’s table dinner. Erin is a culinary genius and the whole experience was cozy, relaxed, yet elevated.

Bethany Schultz

Google
Cozy little storefront had amazing, fresh food options sourced sustainably. Love the schwarma so much I forgot to take a photo! The photo is of the lentils salad. Looking forward to coming back to try other menu items!

Google
Shared plates with a couple friends so we could try as much as possible. Everything was so good! My personal favorites were the Sunchoke Fritters and the Eggplant Involtini; they bake the spaghetti to be a little crunchy, like a corner piece of lasagna, which makes for a perfect variety of texture and the marinara sauce was very light and flavorful - could tell it’s house-made. We also had the Boureka, Spring Fattoush, and Spring Pea Agnolotti and I would order them all again :) I liked the combination of the fresh salad with the Boureka and the brightness of the agnolotti. Each of the pasta dishes were served with good bread for soaking up the sauces. Something I appreciate :) Can’t wait to go back to try more things on the menu!

Google
I just had a really delicious, exceptional lunch at Corridor Indy. The food was out of this world. We shared gazpacho, watermelon salad and Persian cucumber salad. It really was phenomenal and fresh as fresh can be! We will be back. Lunch only.

Theresa Lindley

Google
Delicious, fresh & unique plates! Friendly & knowledgeable owner, Logan. Wonderful experience eating lunch in the back seating room. Tried four different plates and cannoli with freshly piped cheese! Also enjoyed watching fresh pasta being made and packaged for local restaurants.

Google
Was already a great place, but something about the Corridor refresh has put this immediately into my top spots of indy. The capaletti was one of the single best bites of pasta I've ever had, and I love to see the menu expansion with a ton of exciting vegetarian options.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't written a review sooner for this incredible restaurant, considering it's become my go-to spot for lunch, special event dinners, and--if you're lucky--a coveted chef's table experience (which is lottery-drawn a year in advance!). Corridor isn't just a place that serves exceptional and innovative cuisine; it's a culinary haven that transforms dining into a memorable experience. It's a space where food becomes a shared celebration--whether you're craving comforting favorites or indulging in a fine dining experience that rivals the best Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited. Their rotating seasonal menus reveal the chef's artistry and passion. While I'm always sad to see each menu depart, Chef Logan and Chef Erin pour such soul into their creations that I eagerly look forward to discovering my new favorite dishes each season. To truly grasp what makes Corridor extraordinary, I recommend experiencing both their delectable lunch menus and their special evening events. The latter offers unique menus, diverse flavors, and expertly curated wine pairings. The photos I've shared showcase just a few of the outstanding dishes I've enjoyed--each one a masterpiece. And here's the mind-blown fact: all of these stunning dishes are **VEGAN**--completely plant-based! Yes, you read that right. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or an omnivore (they also have many options for you if your not vegan), you'll find something delicious and satisfying. If you haven't visited yet, what are you waiting for? And for my fellow regulars, I'll see you at the next Second Saturday dinner!

Yelp
Corridor is the new concept in this space, a mixture of Mediterranean and Italian. Think fresh made pasta with the tartness and amalgamation of tastes you get in Middle Eastern food. The service was good, and the space is beautiful. Feels like you're eating in the back kitchen of someone's home/manor. The sandwich was plentiful, and there are Italian products available for purchase in the front of the store. 8/10- 4 stars. The taste was just a little weird, I think it's the heavy middle eastern influence in the flavors.

Yelp
Finally was able to stop in for a bite here. The kitchen closes at 3pm so it's not often we can make it over. The staff was very friendly when we ordered. The menu changes seasonally and you order at the counter and get a table number. Your meal is then brought out to you with water. You could grab some canned drinks or sodas at checkout too. Beyond ordering food at the counter you can also pick up a variety of items from cheeses to fresh pastas to tomatoes and other prepared items. Since this is a pasta place we opted to try two pasta dishes and an appetizer. The calamari cakes were interesting, a spin on crab cakes but with calamari. They were cooked well but the texture didn't do it for me- I would rather have my calamari fried or sauted I realize. We also tried the pasta with marinara and the cappelletti. Both dishes came with crusty bread to dip. The pasta was great- the marinara could have used a dash of fresh Parm on top. The cappelletti was very bright and flavorful. The olive oil it came in was seasoned fantastic. I want to return and try literally everything else.

Yelp
Popped into this little pasta shop to buy a gift. Who wouldn't love a pound of fresh pasta and freshly made marinara as a present? No one, is what I figured! My gift went over really well, FYI. It was kind of difficult to choose which kind of pasta, because they have so many. I ended up getting a thick papparadelle, but they have all kinds of interesting shaped pastas and even a seasonal pumpkin pasta. As of this writing, pasta is sold by 4 ounce portions, and each portion is $3. The woman behind the counter said that they say 4 ounces is one serving, but actually, technically, a serving of pasta is 2 ounces. (But we're in the Midwest, so what's considered a normal portion size is a little skewed.) Fresh sauces include puttanesca, alfredo, a creamy lemon sauce and a few others. You can eat lunch here, too, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The dining room is small -- it looks like maybe only two parties could dine in at a time. (Update: The business owner informed me that they can seat 30 people! I obviously am bad at eyeballing seating capacity.) Mostly, Nicole-Taylor's seems like a place to get some pasta and other things to take with you to make back at home.

Yelp
I can't believe I've driven past Nicole Taylor's so many times without stopping in. This place is amazing. Probably one of the best fresh lunches I've had in a while. The homemade pasta alone made it worth the visit. I ordered pasta with marinara, and the pasta was incredibly fresh. The marinara sauce was super rich and perfect. For apps we ordered Brussels sprouts and a pumpkin ratatouille dish. Both were really good, but the ratatouille really stood out. It was absolutely amazing!! I was genuinely impressed and not expecting it to be so good. When you walk in, there's a little counter where you can pick up a bunch of homemade pastas to take home and cook or reheat, which is such a great option. But if you'd rather dine in, there's a cozy little restaurant space in the back with a relaxed atmosphere. It's such a cute, charming spot. I'm definitely going to be coming back soon--Nicole Taylor's is a hidden gem and I'm so glad I finally got to try it! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Our foodie group had lunch at Corridor over the weekend and it was a very wonderful experience. This is a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant inside a strip mall in Broad Ripple that serves fine Italian cuisine. They also have a shop in the front of the restaurant that sells Nicole Taylor fresh pasta and other fresh deli meats and products. When you walk in, you go to the counter to read the menu on the big chalkboard on the wall or on the clipboards, and you place the order with the cashier, and pay for your meal with the cashier as well. If you want a beverage besides water, you also purchase the bottled sodas from the cooler. You then go sit in the dining room with your party, and the staff brings you your food when it is ready. The dining room is beautiful and exquisite for a small space. The ambiance definitely stands out and makes you feel like you are in at a nice fancy Italian restaurant. The food came out pretty quick as soon as we ordered it at the front counter. The presentation was top notch quality on all the food. I ordered the golden gazpacho soup for my appetizer and the falafel sandwich with a side salad for my entree. The golden gazpacho soup was fantastic and probably the best gazpacho soup I have ever had in a restaurant. It tasted incredible and very flavorful. It was definitely fresh! The falafel sandwich was very fresh and huge portion. It tasted wonderful and had a great combination of flavor and spices. The shop in the front of the restaurant was very nice and had a variety of fresh meat, cheese, and Nicole Taylor fresh pasta. I bought the tiramisu and a couple varieties of Nicole Taylor pasta to take home for dinner. I cooked the fresh pasta for dinner that night with a basil tomato sauce. It was pure heaven!! The texture of the fresh pasta was just perfect and tasted terrific! I think it was spaghetti and fettuccine that I purchased. Both of them were marvelous! The tiramisu was excellent and high quality. The taste was just right and amazing. Corridor is an amazing Italian restaurant in Broad Ripple and the Nicole Taylor fresh pasta is worth purchasing and cooking at home. Everyone should check this restaurant out for some great Italian cuisine. It is worth the price and experience!!

Yelp
Actually attended here for an event on a Sunday afternoon. The space was so beautiful! We even enjoyed some shopping in the front room since they kept it open during the event. The catering for the food was the most beautiful, stunning, and insane spread I've ever seen. It was mostly Mediterranean and Greek food like pita hummus, baklava, etc. I can't stop telling people about this place!

Yelp
I really like the small niche market at Nicole- Taylor's, whenever I am having an Italian night @ home, I can count on this shop to have the noodles, oils, butters and cheeses that will bring out the best flavors in my dish. Most of the employees are super friendly, and of course everyone is very knowledgeable. The store is small, and it gives it a nice buzzy and busy feel when there are a few other patrons inside. It always smells delicious in there, and I don't think I could ever go back to boxed pasta. A yes for me!

Yelp
Nicole Taylor's has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots in Indy. Their seasonally rotating menus are INCREDIBLE. I'm hesitant to go nuts in my praises here lest you all take up all of the spots In all seriousness, their use of seasonal veggies, vegan offerings, etc. is so impressive. I find myself wanting to order everything- every time. It's also worth noting that this is one of the best spots for vegan food in the city. The menu is very clearly labeled and nearly half of the options are naturally vegan without alterations. I love that you can have a delicious lunch and then pick up pasta For the road. They also have cases filled with ready-made food that is perfect for meal trains or an easy dinner night. The dining room in the back is nicely appointed with flowers and a front row seat to the pasta making room. Note that you can also find their pasta around town at various farmers markets. Again, can't sing the praises enough!

Yelp
Cute little cafe in broad ripple serving fantastic Vegan options. Classy delicious food prepared by a trained chef. Beautiful presentation of a variety of unique and delicious dishes. I enjoyed the grilled artichokes and sweet potatoes with chickpeas as appetizers-amazing! For the main dish, I had celeriac root over polenta and it was delicious! They also have fish and meat options as well. I can't wait to go back and try a variety of unique dishes! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Two words: Peach. Halloumi. We stopped in today for some lunch to try Corridor's brand new summer menu and it was so good! I got the grilled halloumi and peaches as well as the rigatoni with cherry tomato confit, lemon and ricotta. Both were absolutely delectable, but the halloumi and peaches were stunning. I would go back just to eat that! Since it was a weekday, the vibes today were very laid back and chill. It's a small space that makes you feel like you found a secret hidden gem. The service was attentive and friendly, as one always hopes it will be. It is truly a unique and special place that I will definitely visit again. If I were you, I'd visit too!

Yelp
Delicious food and a fantastic dining experience. Chef Erin knows her craft and crafted a wonderful menu

Yelp
We loved the falafel, pastilla, and carrot fritters! I can confidently say that corridor has menu items that you can't find anywhere else. Liz helped us pick out menu items and we loved everything! The decor was so inviting as well! We will be back!

Yelp
So happy this place is here. Can't beat it! Fresh ingredients and always a treat! I got the Pear, Prosciutto, Brie Sandwich with basil pesto It was so good truly words can't do it justice so just come in and try this place out!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't left a review yet! This is hands down the best Italian in Indy. The pasta is all made in-house and you can even watch them make it! This is my go-to spot in so bro for lunch. They are open for lunch and you can reserve a private dinner with you and friends. The chef will help you curate a multi-course meal and accommodate any dietary restrictions. Okay but the food! They change up their lunch menu often and honestly everything I have had has been phenomenal. The pasta is always cooked perfectly Al dente. Their sandwiches are amazing too! They definitely put a lot of care & love into their craft and it shows.
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
I've been here countless times to get fresh pasta and dessert. Everything they make in house is phenomenal. Grab some of their pasta and sauce then tiramisu for dessert. First time coming here to eat. They have several pasta dishes then a few non pasta dishes. I wish they had a few more sandwiches because I don't typically associate pasta with lunch but what do I know. I got the pear, prosciutto and Brie sandwich and it was incredible. THE BREAD. The bread was the star and all the flavors commingled together perfectly. Highly recommend. They rotate their menu a few times a year so there's always something new!
google avatar

Yelp
A true neighborhood gem! I've popped in a few times to pick up fresh pasta, and this weekend I finally dined in for lunch. We ordered the beets, bucatini, and bean salad to share. You order your meal at the counter then head to the back dining room where the staff brings your table service. It's nice an cozy in the back, decorated with walls of Italian cookbooks. We loved everything! On the way out I picked up some fresh pizza dough and sauce and whipped up homemade pizzas the next day (also pictured). Terrific!
google avatar

Lynn N.

Yelp
Fresh pasta and sauce options are plentiful here. My favorites were the campanelle and bucatini. Pasta was sold in single serving portions. Three portions were perfect for the sauces they sell. The puttanesca was great. The pesto was too garlicky for my liking. They also have a deli counter with meats, cheeses, and olives. There's bread and non-perishable items (olive oils, balsamic vinegar) too. Employees were friendly and they give you directions on cooking and storing the fresh pasta.

Sue L.

Yelp
I stop by every now and then for lunch and often eat lunch and order from menu for dinner. So far I have not been disappointed. Menu changes daily and the fresh pasta is wonderful. My husband and I would like to come for dinner but I understand making a reservation is not so easy. I have to investigate this. I highly recommend Nicole-Taylor.
google avatar

Winnie Y.

Yelp
I have loved all of the pastas and sauces since I first discovered Nicole-Taylor's at the Carmel Farmers Market. I have been wanting to try their lunch room for the longest time and was finally in the area to do that. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and crispy. I was sad to say I didn't love my pasta. It was too overcooked for my liking and it was just mushy. My husband's fish was cooked well, not fishy at all.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
If you're in search of freshly made pastas and sauces, Nicole-Taylor has so many varieties to choose from. They also have some grab and go pasta salads, frozen entrees or you can order off the menu during lunch times. I decided to have the red wine paparedelle with lamb ragu and ate in their backroom. The pasta was really well made and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. You also get crusty garlic bread to go with your meal. Portion sizes are just enough to curb your appetite without leaving you feel overstuffed. Be sure to pop your head around the corner to peep the adorable pasta mural on the side of the building before you leave!

Yelp
We have been here a few times to pickup misc. items and have never noticed anything out of the ordinary. However, we went today (11/8/24) and had quite the surprise. We walked in and went towards the refrigerated items as we were there for a lasagna and something for lunch, grabbing a fresh baked bread on the way. My hubby grabbed the lasagna and I picked out a pizza. While we were waiting for someone to finish their order and pay, my hubby had a disgusted look on his face and headed to put back the lasagna. He told me the cheese in the display had mold and the meat looked off. I didn't believe him at first and thought maybe he just saw one item with mold or something off but no. Literally the entire display case of cheese had mold all over all the items and the meats were not the right color. I put the pizza back too. I did still buy the bread that I'd been holding but mostly because I didn't think it'd be appropriate to put it back after holding it for so long. Unfortunately will be our last time there.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing. Great selection of Italian staples that can be hard to find. High quality olive oils. Double zero flour. Amazing selection of handcrafted pastas. Can't wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been searching for Pappardelle for the longest time and they have it here, FRESH! Just cook it up in a simple butter garlic sauce, and it was perfect! I'm one happy customer!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best chef's table experiences ever!! My sister & dear friend had this reservation for 6-8 months for my 59th birthday(Oct will be my 60th) and we had 8 for the evening at 7pm on Aug 19, 2023. The new Owner/Chef, Erin was beyond amazing to say the least (culinary veteran through and through)! Chef's email to my sister and dear friend Tonya stated "going a little east of Italy, but I think you'll dig it"!! Oh and did we dig it!!! We had a 4 hr dining experience along with a lot of amazing vino! It's definitely worth a reservation and the anticipated wait, trust me!! Chef's kiss goes out to Erin! Grazie Grazie for a wonderful evening! Sue Carney Terre Haute, IN

Yelp
I popped in here on the Saturday before Christmas, and the place was hopping! I loved that they had a nice variety of fresh pastas ($2.50/serving) and fresh sauces $8-9 for 2-serving sizes) available for purchase. They also had full lasagnas ($65) available or single serving sizes. I've begun to bring a meal for later or gourmet food supplies to create a meal for later as a hostess gift for holiday parties and this is a great place for that! If you're on the hunt for a bargain for your family check out the frozen pastas which are 5 for $5 in the freezer.

Yelp
I see what all the hype is about here at Nicole-Taylor's! Cute spot, very nice staff, awesome food, and carry out meals. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Go check it out!!

Yelp
My friend recommended this vegan-friendly establishment because I was planning a luncheon following a memorial service. We had to plan the luncheon with very short notice (a day and a half) under very tragic circumstances. I sent a message via their website and by 11:30 am the next day, we were able to arrange a buyout of the restaurant and Logan had already figured out a family-style menu and pricing. I had never been to this restaurant or tasted their food and was relying on word-of-mouth only. We arrived today after the service, and I was overwhelmed with gratitude to the point of tears. Everyone at the restaurant, including chefs Erin and Logan, went above and beyond. The restaurant was set up absolutely beautifully with flowers on the tables, table settings and water ready to go, and a beautiful family-style buffet. The staff were incredibly kind, compassionate, and concerned. I really just felt like they are GOOD PEOPLE...the way they made eye contact and demonstrated true compassion and care while hosting our group really made an impression on me. Not to mention...the food was phenomenal! We ordered salad, brussel sprouts, vegan and sausage lasagna, and vegan and non-vegan tiramisu and cannoli. We were also able to order espresso drinks. I also want to add that their prices were incredibly reasonable. This place has earned my forever loyalty and made such a beautiful and positive impression on all of us. THANK YOU to everyone there for your kindness today. We could not have dreamt for things to go more smoothly and beautifully. Thank you for honoring our friends so well.

Yelp
I struggled to rate this place a 3 or 4... ultimately I gave them 3 stars based on their customer service. We placed an order for Christmas at the beginning of December for pasta, eggplant meat'balls, and sauce. Every time we called the individual that answered the phone was so short and kind of rude. We tried for clarification on how to order the pasta and they pointed us to the website which was no help and did not have any pricing. We ended up going into the shop to place the order and the person working the counter was very helpful. We had to call again before Christmas due to the incoming storm and once again the same person answered the phone and basically hung up on us. They just told us to pick it up early and click. Overall, the food was decent. The noodles were fine, the eggplant meatballs do not keep their shape and kind of crumble out of shape but they do taste really really good. The alfredo sauce had zero flavor though. It really needed some seasoning so we doctored it at home. I probably would not pay the money again for some items but the vodka sauce was worth every penny. CHEERS!

Yelp
Yesssss! Fresh pasta! I love the quaint market up front but it's the lunchtime back room eatery that will have me coming back. The menu is small but mighty and often changes. It's simple quality ingredients just made well. Most recently I loooved the mushroom bolognese. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and it was also delicious. It's fun eating there because you're set up right next to the pasta room where you can watch them make all the pasta!

Yelp
I will continue to patronize this establishment because I feel it is filling a unique niche that is needed in our city. However I don't feel it is five stars for a few reasons. Reasons for less than 5 stars: 1. Pasta is not memorable. It cooks ok if you follow instructions but I've never been wow'd. 2. I've twice purchased sauces from the freezer that are made in house. Again, not wow'd and honestly would rather use Rao's that I can by at a regular grocery store and add in a few fresh veggies. 3. Unfriendly service. Once I walked to the back room for lunch to meet my mother-in-law (whom I thought had already arrived) and half way down the hall a lady yelled 'What are you doing?!?!'. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. Apparently they were a few minutes away from opening the back room and I had thought they were already open. Maybe instead of shouting someone could have politely walked up to me instead. All other interactions have been of similar rudeness. I know I look young but I actually do have the money to shop at this establishment. Many occasions I see older persons walk in and the staff's tone changes to interest instead of annoyance. 4. The dinners held on occasion are poorly marketed to people that actually work for a living or are not yet retired. They open up the chance to sign up for these dinners on a weekday morning. I only work part-time so I am able to 'wait in line' to sign up but there's another flaw. The dates, times and contents of the menu are not announced in advance. It is very hard to determine an ideal date with even just a spouse let alone a larger party when you don't have this info. I'm not going to wait in line starting at 6am on a Tuesday and not know in advance what the options are. My assumption is these dinners are for the establishment's friends only. Why masquerade it as something for the general public??

Oliver H.

Yelp
Had lunch here for the first time today. Mind was blown by the quality of the pasta. Amazing Paccheri noodles. Will definitely say the best pasta I've had in Indy, but just my opinion!

Shannon K.

Yelp
I have not had the opportunity to attend a Chef's Dinner. I have heard they are fabulous. I have enjoyed shopping for pasta, meats, and cheeses at this gem. I also had a delicious lunch where my mother and I sampled several items. The pasta was amazing and so was the Tiramisu.
google avatar

Alexander B.

Yelp
Being myself a pasta fan, I'm shocked I haven't been there yet. It changed today. And boy... The place is perfectly located next to many cool shops and restaurants, plenty of parking nearby. You can either order food or just buy pasta and cook it at home. I got Rigatoni Bolognese and Tiramisu and both were amazing. Quality pasta made to perfection. Probably one of the best I had in Indianapolis. I'll definitely be back and will bring my friends. Great price/value and friendly staff. Loved it.
google avatar

Anne D.

Yelp
We came for the cannolis & we left with so much more! We were hosting a dinner party and wanted to have their cannolis as our desserts. We called about 20 minutes ahead and they had packaged them upon our arrival. The cannolis were delicious and a big hit with our guests! While there, we picked up some homemade pastas, sauces and sausage. We made that the following weekend when our college son came home. He loved the home cooked meal with some help from Nicole's. The staff was so personable. The chef even came out and was talking about his chef table dinner. Have to check that out next time! Great local place I love to support!

Yelp
Specialty Salome style meats is one of my favorite snack. When I walked into the store, I loved the small deli case filled with some rarely seen meats and cheeses. It reminds me of a small country store, cozy too. Copocollo and Toscano love it with the perfect cheese.. excellent!! Here they have several meats sliced to order as well as cheeses. There are cabinets and coolers throughout the store, which are stocked with most essentials when cooking, excellent cooking oils. Lunch is served as well, the menu, as seen on the wall, looks very appetizing. A bit costly, but the ingredients would, I think be worth the taste! The restaurant is toward the back of the building, it appears small and cozy. I was impressed on my first visit, so to say I will return for that sliced Toscano Salome and Copocollo with Cranberry cheese.

Yelp
What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta! I've checked a countless number of grocery stores to try and find Tagliatelle pasta and never could find it. Nicole-Taylor's not only had some I could buy, but also had it on their ever-changing lunch menu (mixed with capers and a yummy-sounding sauce). Pasta on the go: There's a huge glass case full of every type of homemade pasta you can think of. There's every shape you could think of, and different types (think spinach or tomato or garlic or mushroom). They hand-make it fresh daily. Meals: Nicole-Taylor's also serves as a lunch/dinner spot where you can grab a menu and order a full meal. Their menu is always changing and there are two big rooms to sit in. I walked to the back and saw them handcrafting the pasta on a huge block table and it looked awesome.

Yelp
There's nothing like homemade pasta & Nicole-Taylor's. I've only had the pasta at Italian restaurants but it's always obvious it's gourmet & special!

Yelp
I have been going for years just for the homemade pasta to cook at home, but Went for lunch and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Vodka sauce. Vodka sauce. Vodka sauce. This sauce is one of the absolute favorite pasta sauces I have ever had. Phenomenal. The pasta and bread I have purchased is all fantastic too. But the Vodka Sauce. Seriously. It's to die for!

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch, such great choices. Also ended up taking home some fresh Italian sausage.
google avatar

Noelle L.

Yelp
The Bucatini for $12 was larger than it looked when it was compressed, but I still feel like the portion was small for how expensive the dish is. The toast was very well done and made a great compliment to the pasta, which was rich and flavorful, but the pesto left an uncomfortably strong taste in my mouth afterwards. Overall a very expensive place to get lunch if you want pasta.

Yelp
Wow is all I can say. Thus I'd a hidden gem this id fresh and homemade too the point pasta. Very delicious pasta abs nice small quaint dining room.

Yelp
Amazing pasta. I love that they portion it out. Also, best sandwich of my life. Get the Italian you won't be sorry.

Yelp
Someone related to my family in Chicago who lives in south bend told me about this place.. and they are Sicilian immigrants so I take their word as bible when it comes to food.. one Saturday I decided to give this place a try and I did not walk away disappointed. You are treated like family the minute you walk into the little shop and there is such a wide variety of Italian food and treats to pick from, after you do your food shopping you can go in the back and enjoy some delicious pasta and traditional bread and oil.. everyone is very friendly and willing to answer all questions. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Excellent experience shopping here for the first time. The staff was energetically helpful and welcoming. I decided to have lunch here and the classic sandwich was tasteful and fresh. The dining area in the back is pretty large and they have a cool barbershop chair. The tiramisu is incredible and there are tons of oils and truffles to choose from as well.

Yelp
Love this outstanding Italian deli/market. The pasta is freshly made here! Excellent pasta, delicate to authentic ingredients, and friendly staff. Overall, it's amazing lunch food with complimentary popcorn. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Great neighborhood grocery, restaurant, and deli. I stopped by here to try the delicious pasta that I had seen all over instagram and I was surprised to see that they not only sell pasta, but also cupcakes, cheeses, meats, and small items that you may find at an Italian grocer. I took two nests of the garlic pasta home and made a delicious meal inspired by the store. I hope to come back here soon to try some more of their tasty options. (They have some take home sauces and entrees sold in the store as well if you're looking for an authentic dinner experience at home). I heard that there is a Chefs tasting done here every once in a while, but it was already sold out for the year in February. It would have been nice to experience this and support a local business.. hopefully next year !

Yelp
I was planning a big Italian dinner and the staff was patient and informative as they helped me pick out the right pasta and meats to go along with it. The fresh pasta was good and came with directions on how to prepare it. I will definitely return the next time I need fresh pasta or tips for Italian cooking.
