The Vault Restaurant Reopens as a Sexy Underground Steakhouse in the FiDi | Eater SF

"Corridor is bowing out of the group’s lineup: Cole says they plan to flip that location and reopen it as the Madrigal later this winter — a fitting name given its proximity to the Opera House and Symphony — but he wouldn’t sing any further details." - Becky Duffett

All of the guys at Corridor were so helping, charming and made it an absolute pleasure to shop here on a relatively busy Saturday. Clothes are great, vibes are even better.

Shoutout to my man Theo at Corridor in Larnchmont village. Super cool dude and gave some great insight into the make of the pieces of clothing sold at Corridor!

Yelp
I live near Larchmont and am continuously mystified by the absolute uselessness of most of the new retail. Places like Landis and Pickett Fences close to be replaced by cosmetics chains and junky shops that sell ugly clothes or as-seen-on-TV products, possibly placeholders put in by landlords while they wait for Madewell to come calling. So Corridor--an upscale men's clothing store with a couple locations in New York, one in Venice, and this one on Larchmont--has actually been a pleasant surprise. I bought Matt B. a Corridor shirt online a while back, and since he's gotten good use out of it, I decided to browse the store on his birthday for a last-minute present. I was happy to find a beautiful dark green jacket in his size. The clerk wrapped it up neatly, and I got to give my husband a nice birthday gift despite a complete lack of planning. The store is breezy and attractive, with a fashionable but very wearable aesthetic. If you want loud statement shirts, you can definitely find them here, but it's also a good place to shop for men like my husband, a 39-year-old dad who mostly wears button-downs in the gray to navy range. We went back recently to buy him an outfit for a beach wedding in Mexico. We talked to Andrew, who works there most days, and he was extremely helpful. He pulled a handful of options that seemed appropriate for a beach wedding, and we ended up buying a pair of linen pants, a low-key floral short-sleeved shirt, and a light jacket, as well as a second short-sleeved shirt just because it was good-looking, no occasion necessary. Andrew also gave us the 10% off we would've gotten as first-time customers online (I hadn't used this the first time). Corridor isn't cheap, but the clothes are at least good quality and fun to look at, making it one of the most useful retail stores currently on Larchmont. We'll definitely come back when Matt needs fresh clothes.
