This is the review I wish I saw before renting at Corsa Tuscan Village. This place is not worth their “luxurious” price tag.
I was going to hold my tongue, but after being charged hundreds of dollars after moving out for normal wear and tear of my unit, I have decided to share the following events that occurred in our just over two years of renting at Corsa Tuscan Village.
* My car was hit while parked in the resident parking lot of Corsa Tuscan Village, causing thousands of dollars in damage. They have no cameras on their property outside, which is a major safety concern.
* One resident has an open flame fire pit on their wooden balcony. Management was notified via email and they said they would tell the resident to remove the fire pit as it is a fire hazard and against the lease. Months later, upon our move out, the resident still has the fire pit on their wooden balcony.
* On our floor, dog poop was smeared on the hallway carpet outside the elevator. We notified maintenance immediately. The carpet was not cleaned until 3 days later when the cleaning company came for their weekly clean.
* At 10pm, a shrill, constant alarm was coming from our locked utilities closet in our unit. We called maintenance, and they asked if we could smell smoke coming from the closet. When we said no, they said they would come the next day when they are available.
* Management posted signage to alert residents that work would be done in the parking lot on Monday, and that residents should move their cars for the day on Monday. No work was completed on Monday and there was no notice of the work being rescheduled so residents moved their cars back to the resident parking lot. The next day, management began towing cars with no notice and no phone calls to residents prior to towing, including the cars of the elderly with mobility issues and a family with a newborn.
* An employee of Corsa Tuscan Village had personal Ring Cameras on the balcony of his personal unit, pointed towards the pool area, recording those using the pool. Management was notified. The cameras were not removed until the employee moved out of the unit.
* The grounds smell like dog pee, as the mulch was not replaced often enough.
* The dumpster was frequently overflowing, causing wild animals to spread trash across the grounds of the complex. My dog frequently got into dangerous items in the grass such as chicken bones and other food scraps.
* Bags of trash were frequently left in the stairwell of our building for days.
Our unit is now being rented for 3000 dollars. After reading the events above, you can decide if it is worth it.
