Watched my food sit under a warming light for 10 minutes and when it came out...it was cold! Service was polite but SLOW for the food to come out despite the restaurant being 1/2 empty. Worth the marked up price? Absolutely not. The prices should reflect a dive bar for the accompanying value.

Had lunch at this restaurant while staying at the hotel and the family and I enjoyed it. Service: superb! From hostess to server the staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs Food: the menu is honestly very basic, I wish they had more variety but nonetheless the food we ordered was very good. Their kids menu is fantastic though they have multiple options and even have smoothies which the kids loved. Decor: it's the hotel's indoor restaurant which for the location it wasn't my first choice. However, the decor is super modern kind of nautical and they even had live music when we went which was a nice touch. I am excited to try this place for breakfast as I heard it's wonderful!

As a guest at the hotel, this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Our buffet for the early meal was included with our stay and had all of the options you might expect. Custom omelets, pancakes, French toast, fresh fruits and plenty of breakfast meats and sausages. Service was fantastic and each server we had over several days was friendly and responsive. Good coffee and an ok Bloody Mary to match your night before. Depending on where you sit, you'll experience two different meals and ambience. Sit outside overlooking the golf course for an easy and peaceful meal. Inside is another story. Many people going to and fro- staff and patrons filling or clearing plates. Noisy and somewhat chaotic during the morning rush. Sit outside for a noticeably different meal.

A tucked away brunch spot that never disappoints! I love the option to enjoy the buffet and/or the cook to order menu. The servers are always attentive to their tables and the ambiance always invites you to unwind, relax and enjoy your Sunday with family or friends. The golf views are amazing however I do hope at some point the restaurant will undergo renovations with the re-design focused on enjoying the outdoors more. In my opinion, when the restaurant is at full capacity the space does feel somewhat cramped. Overall though, this brunch spot is an Aventura must dine and enjoy!! Valet or self parking is available and be sure to validate your ticket.

I actually really liked this l place. The service is slower so come with friends and relax and chat while you wait for food. I really like Mediterranean food. It was light and healthy and well seasoned. We sat inside bc it was so humid outside and I didn't want to get bitten by mosquito. I can't remember the names of what I ordered but pictures below. I think it was a hummus platter. I also go guacamole. And then the shrimp tacos which were deliciously. My only complaint is the tacos are tiny so order something else. Overall really enjoyed this.

Came here for brunch last weekend and the food was amazing! The service was wonderful, our server was always making sure our table was good. This place is beautiful, and it sits on a really pretty golf course. We sat outside and luckily the weather was perfect. The mimosas were really good too. I will be coming back for sure.

Average breakfast buffet. A/c vents were leaking and I told the server who did nothing about the water puddling in the floor. Very expensive buffet for basic eggs. If you book a room where breakfast is free then keep in mind breakfast for 2 is $100. Factor that into your room rate. There's plenty of restaurants at Aventura Mall right next door to take your family to for far less money and much better food.

The food at Corsair is devine. Everything I've tasted there has been delicious. They have a new Fall menu that you are going to want to try. I love a good salad and their beet salad is something I would order every time. Cozy ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff and service is always top tier.

Pork belly was delicious. The kids meals were great for the kids. We went for lunch and the service was super.

10-22-22 7:30 pm reservation Open Table Hubby and I let life get in the way and were way over due for a date night. So on Friday morning I suggested he plan. Unfortunately we both ran out of time and we found our selves going through Yelp at the 11th hour and hungry. We quickly realized with the Boat Show only days away and weather getting nice outside it is the beginning of season. So even bad restaurants we couldn't find a reservation. Than while on Open Table I found this gem. OMG why can we get in must be a trick did someone die here? So menu and photos looked good so we booked a table. The address I couldn't quite place it until we arrived oh it's at the JW Marriott in Turnberry Isle where Bourbon Steak is. Once inside I had to ask but this restaurant is all the way to the back of the property can you say on the golf course. So there was two hostesses at the desk we said outside the first girl said NO. The second said let me see. Than found us the most perfect table in the World away from the other diners tables generously spaced. The table had a thing that was lite on other peoples tables so I fiddled with it until the light came on. We started with a drink myself a glass of Sauvignon Blanc note very generous pour sorry forgot photo and hubby his favorite Hendricks and tonic. We had waters with fresh slices of lemon as well. To start fresh smashed Avocado to share. The chips were seasoned perfectly very fresh. For main course I have the snapper and hubby the Creekstone Prime cut Filet 8 oz. Well other than stealing some of hubby's potatoes I can't speak to his meal that disappeared but mine was perfect. For dessert the Brown Butter Cake with pistachio ice cream was perfect as well. So what did I learn from this experience the best food is at the JW Marriott and tourists are lucky to be staying here as it showcases some of the best restaurants of South Florida. The waiter will get your ticket stamped for $ 10. valet instead of $30. Will definitely return here wonderful memorable date night with hubby.

Dinner was 3 stars but breakfast was 4. We went on the first night of our stay at the hotel and I wasn't impressed. Service was good, ambiance was fine, but the food wasn't remarkable. However we came back for breakfast the next day and did the buffet. It had many options and everything was pretty good. Omelets made to order.

I came here for Sunday brunch and didn't really know what I was getting into. Once I found the parking garage, the parking attendant let me pay $10 instead of $25 because I was getting food at Corsair. There was no real guidance from the parking garage to Corsair so I had to stop and ask a few people. Needless to say, I was late getting to my reservation. At the hostess desk, they wouldn't even walk me to the table where my guest was. She told me to go look around and come back if I don't find my guest. I found my guest and the waitress came over. My friend and I weren't interested in the buffet and the waitress wasn't too happy about that. The waitress's service was okay, but she could have been more attentive. We had to hunt her down a couple times. The French roast was okay and the mimosas (2) were alright. It was really less than 2 mimosas because she filled my glass again when it was only half way gone. The French toast looked good, but didn't taste as good as it looked. When the check came, I noticed she charged me for the brunch. $52 plus tax and gratuity, for a total of $66. When she came back to get the check I asked her why she didn't just charge me for 2 mimosas and the french toast because it was cheaper. She tried to say it wasn't going to be cheaper, but said she would make the change. She updated my bill and the total was $55, including tax and gratuity. So basically she tried to charge me an extra $11 by initially charging me for brunch. Although the grounds are nice, I probably won't be returning.

Service, food, and atmosphere were great! I arrived early for a conference and had a light dinner by myself at the bar. The bartenders were really friendly, kept an eye out and ensured I had everything I needed. The space was designed well and created a great atmosphere when combined with the welcoming staff.

Came for the 52 brunch here on Sundays. They make a new menu every week of the year, and let me tell you, todays was impeccably well put together. I had the Mac and cheese, brisket and mash, and I had to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast on house made hallah bread- it was insanely good. The more permanent buffet selection here for is so well stocked, no unloved items, everything is what you want in a brunch buffet and very fresh. The service here is like clock work, if the clock was a Rolex, at a wall inside the Rolex Factory lol. My server was Marcelo and he made the experience flawless, it felt like he was reading my mind lol my glasses never found themselves empty and the food just kept coming. 10/10 will be doing it again!

I was lucky enough to be selected by Yelp Miami to attend this event with my bff. I have tried wine pairing before but never beer pairing so I was beyond excited. Folks, this was one of the best experiences ever so thank you Yelp. As guests walked in, we were greeted with a welcome beer cocktail made with aperol spritz and Funky Buddha Chant IPA. It was so refreshing and light. Perfect start and got us in the mood. Then we were escorted to a private dining room along with several guests which btw, were super friendly. First pairing was the 96 Hour Braised Short Rib with Pineapple Beach Blonde Ale. This bao bun was beyond amazing. Just melted in your mouth and perfectly paired with the ale. Second course was the Beer Battered Reuben Sandwich with Fuhgeddaboutit Red Ale. This Rueben was the next level. Bread perfectly toasted and the corned beef was so flavorful. Love the presentation too. Third course was the Crispy White Fish paired with Chardonnay Barrel Aged White Sangria. OMG, That fish was just too die for. Well balanced and goes well with the White Sangria. The last course was dessert, of course. It was called Grapefruit Pavlova with the El Camino Hazy IPA (which is my favorite Funky Buddha beer). I'm not really into fruit desserts but this was beyond my expectation. Flavor explosion and not too sweet. We were really impressed by this pairing. Just the execution and the service were above and beyond. Our host was energetic and very knowledgeable. Even the Chef came out and explained each dish. We loved it so much that we already planned to go to the next date but the crisis happened unfortunately. The beer pairing is normally on the last Thursday of every month and cost about $58. It is so worth it. You will leave with a smile and your tummy satisfied.

We had a reservation for 6 and shoes up early. We were led promptly to our table. The waiters and staff were attentive, helpful, and very professional. We ordered an appetizer, the big pretzel, which was delicious. We all ordered meals. The meals were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We did not have to wait long for the meal. The servers were helpful and even divided meals that were being shared. After dinner, we tried 4 different desserts. Each one was decadent and unbelievably good. Overall, this restaurant is amazing! I highly recommend it.

We ate at Corsair Kitchen a couple of years ago, pre Covid, and loved it. Just a couple of facts, it's located in the Marriot Turnberry Isles resort complex. Valet parking or self parking, whichever you prefer. On this day Valet parking was swamped so instead of waiting we chose self parking which is discounted if eating at Corsair. Ok enough of that. At first we ask to sit on the patio but the hostess suggests an inside table by a window because it's very warm outside. After finding a table she noticed a table on the patio in a shaded area. Wonderful because it's overlooking the golf course. Very relaxing. We chose the buffet which is more of a high end type buffet. The "New Normal " is the buffet is enclosed in plexiglass and servers provide whatever you desire. First bagels & Lox with all the extras. Enough for a meal in itself, but I'll have a little more. I go for the scrambled egg whites, with potatoes and sausage. On point. My wife had scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. I went back for fruit but they were closing down the buffet to prep for lunch. No problem, a server heads to the back and returned with a bowl of fruit. That's service. Overall, clearly 5 Stars. No question. Yes I highly recommend Corsair Kitchen and next time I'm in South Florida, you can find us there for Brunch.

Absolutely 5 stars all the way. Service was impeccable, food was absolutely great, sat outside overlooking the golf course, couldn't be better. Bravo Whoever trained the staff, really did a great job. Remember: it's the small things that make a big difference. The only note: we almost didn't show up because host said they're over committed, but we had no issues

We had such a lovely dinner at Corsair. We stayed ah the JW Turnberry for my son's birthday so we can spend some time at Tidal Cove. Corsair was advertised as the more casual dining option at the Turn dry. So we were very positively surprised how beautiful the restaurant was and it's amazing view at the golf course. Our server Greggy was fantastic. He was friendly, on point, and smart. He definitely made this an awesome experience for us. We had the onion ring tower and tomato soup upfront. Our son had chicken tenders and fruit. My husband had the steak frites and I had the rigatoni. Everything was presented in a very appetizing way and tasted great. I heard they have a scrumptious brunch as well - so I'll make sure to be back for that.

I wanted to try a Miami Spice restaurant in Aventura and there were a couple in the JW Marriott, Corsair being one. I'd estimate you save 20-50% depending on what you get from their spice menu compared to normal pricing, so definitely worth trying during Miami Spice if you can! Small portions but the flavor and quality is amazing, even in the soup and salad! I feel with normal pricing this place would be a little overpriced. Dessert was out of this world and was definitely the shining star of the meal! That and the incredible, attentive wait staff.

pretty good farm to table. we ate here for 2 days, i really liked the mojo chicken, the free-range chicken breast is very juicy and tender. The grouper dish is great too, crispy skin and tender meat the turkey sandwich is nice, one of the best i had. The grilled cheese is liked by our entire family. also loved the sweet potato fries, the truffle fries are tasty, but does not have any truffle taste at all.

This place has ambiance, fresh food, and great service. Our server, Greggy, took great care of us. We ordered off the Miami spice menu....3 courses for $39. I had the gazpacho soup that was made with fresh tomatoes. The meatloaf was huge and served over mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. THe meatloaf had a spicy BBQ glaze on it. The dessert was a cookies and cream chocolate cake. It was rich and moist and topped with fresh whipped cream. The restaurant overlooks the golf course. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The open kitchen allows you to see the chefs preparing your food. The bread was nothing impressive...plain white rolls. Overall, it was a great dinner. Greggy surprised us with a taste of an after dinner drink at the end of our meal. It was a sour drink. The server will validate your parking so it's free!

This place was entirely average and extremely overpriced. $200 after tax and mandatory 20% tip for a simple meal for two - a shared app, tacos, and a vegetarian dinner salad + 2 drinks each. The food was fine but nothing was special. I'd call it better than average hotel food but even if it was a reasonably priced neighborhood restaurant, I would not return. Nothing interesting, special, or really even thoughtful about the place.

Recently returned for their Sunday brunch. Excellent food, service and ambiance overlooking golf course outside. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Had an amazing breakfast here. I didn't do the buffet cause I LoVE eggs Benedict...but my friends got the biggest and it is off the hook. I came back on an evening and had their meatloaf. It was perfect. I want the recipe!

The most pleasant of meals. What's. Great ambiance. Design and feel. Ample wine menu and great drinks moderately priced. We had the meatballs pasta (Wagyu beef yum) the braised pork (falls off bone) appetizer with cole ,rissoto with amazingness and the burger with truffle fries. Great for kids too. The bread pudding dessert and gnoch chocolate are amazing. Can't wait to come back The hostess was very accommodating as was our waiter Josh. While staying in the hotel, I came here for breakfast. It was disappointing arrival experience. I asked for a table for one. The hostess said that noand was told there was a 35-minute but open seating at the bar. As I walked to the bar, I counted 7 empty tables and about a half-dozen that were vacant but waiting to be cleaned. Maybe there were reservations that hadn't arrived yet but I didn't see anyone else that appeared to be waiting. The strong impression was bias against people dining alone: they didn't want me taking up a table in case seven families suddenly showed up. However, the breakfast itself was good: eggs cooked exactly as ordered, bacon thick-sliced and crispy. The coffee was average. It did not seem to be freshly brewed. I did not see another pot being made during the 45 minutes I sat at the bar. The bartender was courteous but overtaxed. Towards the end of my meal a server came around behind the bar to lend a hand. She was terrific. An indicator that the problem getting seated might not have been people with reservations who had not yet turned up is that there was still about a half-dozen empty tables when I left after eating at the bar.

Let's start with this restaurant is in a hotel... to me that means high prices and meh food. Well, I ordered the lobster roll and let me tell you that lobster roll was phenomenal. Well done guys! If you sit outside it's a beautiful view of the Golf range and how spectacular Miami is so YES! I am a fan and I will be back soon to see John. He's gorgeous. You're welcome.

Corsair is located inside the JW Marriott at Turnberry Isle. This restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner from my understanding. Their brunch is currently priced at $52 with bottomless mimosas or bloody marys. I went off of the regular menu. Food quality is high without it being a rip off. This doesn't mean that it's a bargain. We had two burgers and two ice teas at $60.00 which is a bit steep, this price included the tip and hotel tax. Food was very good, service was just a touch slow for this type of higher end hotel. Brunch looks fantastic, I may try it in the future. Valet is your only option here unless you park in the west parking garage and walk it in. Reservations recommended during covid. Will be going back to try more stuff in July.

Are you hungry? You better be if you come to brunch at CORSAIR. A friend of mine told me about brunch here - I was actually surprised since I didn't realize they did brunch nor would I have thought to come to Turnberry Resort for such an occasion. The resort is expansive and they're doing a ton of great updates to the location as well. When you arrive at the resort you valet your car with very nice group of bellman waiting to help you. Normally I prefer to park my own car but since you can get your parking validated at the restaurant I didn't mind on this particular occasion. I didn't see any regular/general parking so I assume this is the only option. You walk into the lobby near Bourbon Steak and proceed to the outside door, past pool area to the restaurant on the left. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the hostess. The ambiance here is great with a ton of windows overlooking their golf course and a very comfortable feel. We told he hostess that we were meeting friends and she walked us to the bar area to greet them and the showed us to our table. She asked if we'd been there for brunch before (we replied we hadn't) so she offered to give us a tour of their brunch buffet situation. Yes a tour - because the brunch buffet is so huge that you literally need a tour. After taking it all in, and realizing I should have worn stretchy pants, we sat down to look over the menu. $45 for unlimited buffet, mimosas and one of their signature cooked to order dishes is mind blowing. This menu also changes every week so you could basically come every weekend and have something different. We ordered a few different options between all of us to share so we could try everything. My favorites were the Mac and cheese, French toast and the breakfast skillet. Whomever's idea it was to add Mac and cheese to a brunch menu - gold star! Their fresh fruit, raw bar and dessert area were beyond amazing. They also have a ton of gluten free items which I thought was nice offering. All the buffet items we tried were super fresh, you could tell that everything was cooked/baked and freshly prepared that day. They definitely didn't skimp on quality or options on either. The service was also outstanding. Our mimosa glasses were never empty and we always had at least one staff member come by to check on us throughout the experience. We stayed for a while to ensure we got to try as much as we could. We didn't feel rushed and actually felt quite relaxed even though we were uncomfortably stuffing ourselves. I also noticed that they are very family friendly which was nice. They have an outside patio area too which will be nice once the weather gets a bit cooler. The only thing I thought was weird was that the bathrooms were outside of the restaurant and shared with the pool area. They were nice and indoors/air conditioned but hopefully with the renovations they're planning on adding some restrooms inside the restaurant itself. Overall, our experience at CORSAIR was nothing short of 5 stars. I highly recommend a visit for a relaxing brunch and definitely planning on returning again soon!

Great experience. Prices were hotel-reasonable and not price gouging. The shark bite drink was superb! Draft beers were ice cold! We also had the Caesar Salad and Braised Short Ribs - all I can say was WOW! Super delicious. Cheryl was very friendly and nice. We got to see her interact with some of the newer wait staff and her approach was great - wish I had a manager like her in my day job. Brian the bartender? The dude rocks! Great personality. Super drink mixologist. Solid recommendations. If you stop in, hope he's the one making your drinks!

Went to Sunday brunch at CORSAIR with some friends. It is a buffet-style meal that also comes with unlimited Mimosas and one cooked to order item, I selected the Breakfast Skillet. Quality It is often difficult to achieve balance with a buffet. On one hand you want it to be high-quality and delicious items, but you also don't want to break the bank to enjoy it. CORSAIR managed to find a nice middle-ground with a tasty mix of classic and speciality brunch items, which lets you indulge while not needing to overeat. With the brunch comes unlimited Mimosas and the staff is very good at making sure your glass is never empty. The brunch also comes with one cooked to order item, and I selected the Breakfast Skillet. This is a constantly changing dish, but on this Sunday it included saffron risotto and scallops. It was a unique item and I loved the scallops, but with so many other great items available the risotto did not stand out. The star of the show at CORSAIR's brunch though is the buffet. With continental breakfast, hot items, flatbread, raw bar, mezze table, and brunch sweets it has a little bit of everything. The crab claws and iced shrimp are absolutely fantastic. I could have just eaten them and left happy. Also, do not skip over the mezze table for a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and grilled vegetables. And leave room for sweets, lots of them. The mini cakes and pastries allow you to have just a bite of all sorts of delicious treats. Quantity Endless supply for the buffet, and they absolutely mean it when they say bottomless Mimosas. If you leave hungry, you are doing it wrong. Value It is $45 for the expansive buffet, bottomless Mimosas, and one cooked to order item. With the high quality items available, this is not a buffet where you feel like you need to leave stuffed for it to be a solid deal. Ambiance CORSAIR is located in the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura. The hotel is undergoing massive construction, so the journey through the resort to the restaurant is not the most picturesque at the moment. However, the view of the golf course from the restaurant is. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available, with the outdoor area covered during summer months. However, indoor gives easier access to the buffet tables. The different stations have some distance to prevent logjams and the tables are separated so you don't have to worry about diners searching for their next plate interrupting your meal. It is a big restaurant and it has a good-sized bar area, though it was not too busy during our visit. In the background tropical house music played, a reminder that you are living the resort life. Crowd There was a good crowd for Sunday brunch. While it was not packed, more than half the tables had guests and people continued to flow in even as the brunch hours were coming to an end. It appeared to be mostly hotel guests, and many looked to have just come off the golf course. It is very casual dress code and a solid choice for large groups. Service I was extremely impressed with the staff at CORSAIR. We arrived before the rest of our party and the host offered us Mimosas to sip on as we waited. Despite being a buffet-style meal, our waiter kept close tabs on the table and made sure drinks always stayed filled. And they kept the buffet areas looking spotless, which is not an easy task with a constant crowd moving through. Parking They have valet parking at the hotel, which is validated by the restaurant. It did not appear that there were any other convenient options. Extra I was not sure what to expect from CORSAIR, but the brunch was excellent. A very good value for high quality food and perfect service. Buffets are often hit or miss, but on this day they hit it on the mark.

Must go for brunch! Outstanding brunch that has a beautiful golf course view, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The brunch offers an appetizing menu that you can order from. We ordered the scallop dish, waffles, and deviled eggs. They were each divine. There is also a buffet that has stone crab claws, charcuterie, fruits, and many other options. There is also a pastry section. Additionally, the service is superb! Greggy was our server. Greggy is extremely professional, pays close attention to detail, and has a great sense of humor. Greggy guided us through our brunch and helped us with anything we needed. Greggy's service resulted in us having the best brunch we have ever had. Thank you so much Greggy and team. This review is solely for their Miami Spice brunch. Vibe: It's located inside the Turnberry Isle Hotel along the route of the golf course so it's upscale. Dress accordingly. Also, the hotel is undergoing major construction so it was a bit of a maze to get to. Service: Buffet style brunch. The hostess gave us a quick run through of the buffet items before we were seated. However, we barely heard what she said bc we were in awe of the different food stations. Our waiter Nikko was very friendly and attentive. Our glasses were never empty. Food: Let's break it down by stations! Antipasto station was good they even have olive oil and balsamic vinegar to pair with your meats and cheese. Yummmm Typical hot food: pretty standard brunch food. Can't complain. The chicken sausage was flavorful and bacon was also good. Salmon lox: I didn't try it, but my cousin liked it and the salmon looked fresh. Pastries: Nothing out of the ordinary or wow-ed me. Again- standard croissants and danishes. Seafood station: I had high hopes for the crab claws, but the texture was off for me. The cocktail shrimp on the other hand, was pretty darn good. I probably ate more than I should have. Toast: Their jams are tasty- can't go wrong with tasty jam on some good 'ol carbs! Yogurt: I didn't try this either, but it's your typical parfait with your choice of yogurt. Main course: On top of the all you can eat appetizers and dessert, we ordered the French toast which was ok. The eggs Benedict was perfectly balanced and flavorful- I'd order it again. The breakfast skillet was also good- the steak was a bit on the salty side by itself but pairs well with the potatoes and asparagus. Drinks: I'm not a day drinker, but they do have bottomless mimosas for $15. Dessert: The waffles were too chewy, but the toppings were on point. The fruit tart was my favorite- light, airy, and not to sweet. They also had fresh fruits which is always a plus. All in all: Pretty good for spice brunch. You get to have a variety of different items in a nice, upscale place.

Located at the Marriott Turnberry but a cut about 'hotel food'. Nice varied menu, excellent food, great service.

Not surprising at at a 5-star resort, they had a wonderful restaurant. It did not disappoint as the food was carefully prepared with high quality ingredients. Additionally, the service added to the good experience as our server Cheryl gave us just the right amount of attention, advice, and warmth. Lastly, the ambiance of the restaurant had a nice vibe, with great music, and a fresh and futuristic feel. My family and I highly recommend Corsair for lunch with the greatest confidence, and definitely advise that you ask for Cheryl as your server!

I had 3 lunches at the restaurant on 3 consecutive days while staying at the hotel . First day we had the Miami Spice Menu , By the time appetizer were on the table our drink had not arrived yet , we got them by the middle of the main course . The waiter was absent , did not check on the table , the food runner came to the table clueless of who has what , there was no oil in the table , no salt , no change of silverware between appetizer and main course , we had to signal someone to please ask for utensil as main course we're getting cold and we had no way to eat it . I had the salmon it was supposed ero be med - rear , it was served well done, I had no one to tell since the waiter came by the time of the check , the salad was suppose to be dressing on the side , it wasn't . My coworker had bolognese , it was equal to a kids meal , the pasta was sitting in the bowl , not tossed in the sauce , same sauce poured on top cup cake stile . I ordered coffee , they forgot the sugar, by the time I told someone and got the sugar my coffee was cold. The second day went better service wise , however the steak was so poorly served , again no love just a piece of steak in the plate with a basket of fries on the side , the quality of the steak itself was good and cook was spot on however it was missing flavor, I had to dump a good amount of black pepper on it to make it more interesting . Third day went amazing , we set outside the waiter was so attentive, the food was really good . Chicken wings , Cuban sandwich spot on .

I stand by many of the observations in my first review, but some updates are necessary. On my first visit I was seeing several service hiccups. On a visit this week service was excellent. Host station was very welcoming (huge difference!), there were lots of greetings on the way to the table, and our server Leopold was excellent (I learned he'd previously been at sister restaurant Scarpetta, where service is excellent, so no wonder!). Extra surprise: Scott Conant was in the house in person, and came by to say hello. This is nice not just because of the PR/service angle, but it shows that there is actual face time and oversight in the kitchen. Hopefully the vastly improved service on this visit can survive his absence when he's home in NYC. The other noteworthy development: comparing my posted picture of the dinner menu from the 12/2014 opening with the current 9/2015 one, I'm seeing that the pricing is now much more realistic. The opening prices were too high, and I'm glad to see they've been adjusted, but I would love to see pastas priced below $20 and some events or wine dinners in order to be a more regular guest (Scarpetta seems to have more such events, and I'm hoping Corsair will follow this lead).
