The Hottest Restaurants in Denver Right Now, Summer 2024

"While it has rustic good looks and a high-energy crowd in common with Barcelona Wine Bar, its Spanish sibling a few blocks away, this RiNo arrival distinguishes itself with a Mediterranean-inspired menu and beverage program all its own. Smart small plates like chicken liver mousse with pear mostarda and crostini, baked lumache in spicy crab sauce with preserved lemon, and the must-try collard leaf–wrapped cornbread with honey and chiles pair perfectly with equally snazzy cocktails, including the Le Rigmarole with vodka, Suze, honeydew, milk powder, and fennel pollen — but don’t overlook the wine list: It’s a treasure trove of lesser-known finds from the region such as Ligurian Lumassina and Irouléguy Rouge, the majority of them organically and/or biodynamically farmed." - Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Corsica is incredible! The vibe is amazing- great lighting and ambiance. The food is beautiful- such complex and exciting flavors. The highlights were the beets and the carrots, and we’re not even vegetarians! Also the beef babette was so yummy too with a very flavorful sauce. The drink menu has lovely options for everyone- from European wines to thoughtfully crafted cocktails. James, the manager, was truly the best part! He helped us through the menu, recommended amazing dishes, and was so accommodating and kind. Highly, highly recommend!!

Google
The neighborhood gem. The atmosphere made us feel like we were somewhere in southern Europe. The service is super attentive and well equipped with all the answers about wine and everything. The items on the menu are all amazing. Recommend to go with a group and order many things and share. Also have a great selection of wines. I'd love to take this restaurant with us to LA. Highly recommended, and would love to revisit again.

Google
Mediterranean tapas? Yes please! Love the atmosphere here, the staff is always wonderful! Real nice selection of wine & spirits. The food is really out of this world. Never thought I'd say this but the broccoli caesar salad is bomb, along with the tuna carpaccio being super tasty. The grilled mushrooms are incredible, probably my favorite thing on the menu. We've tried so many things & they are all wonderful. Highly recommend the donuts for dessert too The staff really is great, thanks for always making it an awesome experience at Corsica!

We came here during work travel to Denver two months in a row and loved it every time. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is beautifully designed, and the service is top-notch. Our host was Will on Friday night, and he went above and beyond in being professional, accommodating, and kind. It made our visit so much more special. This time, We had several different foods including the ricotta toast topped with barbaries, barbajuan, cacio e pepe, arancini, and roasted cauliflowers. The highlight for us was the arancini (we got a second order), barbajuan, and the ricotta toast. If I lived in Denver, I’d be a regular here. A real gem!

Google
I really like this place. Went here for happy hour on a date, great small plates to share for two really well priced wine and food deal. The atmosphere also is great. I could hear my date as well as it’s just a cool building inside and out. Service was also bomber. I’ll be back for sure.

Google
Omg. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Denver. Immediately at the top of our favorites list! Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Drinks were impeccable and unique. The vibe inside is so cool. I barely took any pictures because we were just enjoying ourselves so much! We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and it was wonderful. Then our waiter Will was simply the BEST. Great recommendations and made our evening lovely. Multiple managers checked in and were very friendly as well. We told them we would be back asap! If you like good food, good wine, and a cool atmosphere, this is the best of the best!

Google
Great atmosphere, and service. Loved the tuna appetizer and the cauliflower. The drinks are amazing and the 2 wines we got were reasonably priced and very good. Worth checking out!

Google
Amazing food, lively atmosphere. Big thanks to the whole crew at corsica for making the evening special, our friend was getting married and having a big family dinner, I was there celebrating a harvest. The vibes are versatile enough for casual dinner or classy family gathering. Loud dance music made the scene very energetic. The food was incredible and Corsica is a new fav in Denver, I will definitely return. The wine list is deep and unique, food is all prepared and served flawlessly. We went back a week later with another dear friend, Brandon amd Mimi took great care of us, we tried most of the menu between 2 visits and I would still return to revisit the tuna carpaccio, meatballs, and cheese plate plus sample another wine or 2.

Yelp
Had excellent food and wine at Corsica. When I left and couldn't get my car started (15 degrees) I returned after calling AAA. Monique and Mimi went above and beyond. Monique set me up with an Iphone charger close to the end of the bar so I could have a glass of wine and keep an eye on any potential AAA messages. I was more than taken care of when I was feeling very cold and uncertain. Will definitely return and thank Monique and Mimi again and again!

Yelp
Not sure where to even start - it was all fantastic. We chose our first visit to be on their Sunday 1/2 off bottles of wine! The atmosphere and ambiance is so quaint and inviting. The booths were very comfortable (never thought I would get excited about a booth) with a well-placed foot bar that made the seating more comfy than anyone would ever think. The hostess and our server were spot on and the manager was equally so. We had questioned the taste of a bottle of wine and without issue, they took it and opened another (Chateau Pipeau Bordeaux) right away. It was perfect. We also tried Pomme au Poivre, Wolfpack, Golden Hour Negroni, and Citron Sunrise. For food, we enjoyed: Stuffed Dates Whipped Ricotta Toast Tuna Carpaccio Farro Risotto Rigatoni Bolognese Bastian Meatballs Tiramisu Fritelli We will absolutly be back!

Yelp
The night before Valentine's Day, a friend and I snagged a last-minute reservation at Corsica Wine Bar! It was surprisingly easy despite the holiday rush. The place was packed, but the service didn't miss a beat. We ordered a spread of pork belly, cacio e pepe, ricotta toast, frites, and a broccoli Caesar, and every dish delivered. The cacio e pepe was perfectly creamy and peppery, the ricotta toast light and flavorful with some delicious berries, and the pork belly rich and satisfying. Between the lively atmosphere, great service, and incredible food, Corsica is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back!

Yelp
Wow! All I can say is thank you to Taylor at Barcelona for showing love! She gave me 2 tokens to check out the sister restaurant and lord have mercy! Ambiance is 12/10 food is 12/10 and drinks 12/10 I had a full body cab that was to die for! I got the beef Bavette and Cacio de Pepe Jame and cam took care of me and they were amazing! You should RUN here not walk!!

Yelp
My daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Corsica. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, with an industrial vibe featuring dark wood and exposed bricks. The dining spaces are divided, giving each area its own charm. From the team behind Barcelona Wine Bar, this latest RiNo restaurant pays tribute to the French Mediterranean island, offering a fantastic selection of tapas, wines and cocktails. Everything we tasted that evening was delicious, and the service was perfect. I already can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Corsica has a nice ambience. They're great for small plates and they have a large wine selection. This was our second time coming here (originally came in the early weeks of their opening) and sadly this round was not nearly as good as the first time. Came Sunday at 6pm, there were plenty of open seats and we got seated at a comfortable two person table in the back Ordered NA cocktails, the 'Chenile' (rate this 5/5) was very nice but the 'Raspberry Beret' was not for us - frankly it tasted like sweet BBQ sauce (1/5) Bread service 3/5 - nothing special, I liked the butter and it went well w the mussels broth Whipped ricotta toast 5/5 - one of their signature dishes, a must get Tuna carpaccio 3/5 - tuna was fine quality but dish tastes too much like olive oil and not enough citrus Beets and apples 4/5 - very refreshing and light Mussels 4/5 - mussels and broth had good flavor Crème brûlée 1/5 - consistency was so off , it was kind of chunky and not smooth. Didn't finish. All the dishes came in a quick succession, but afterward receiving all the mains we were kind of forgotten about. From eating the last entree to paying and leaving took almost an hour. Ordered a rigatoni but it never came, not a big deal, told the server. He was friendly, and I would never blame service for a restaurant being busy, but wasting so much time at the end wasn't great. They still charged us for the dish though so had to wait even longer to pay. They kindly comped the crème brûlée (and we never said anything about the taste). Overall quite a disappointment from our first experience, it'll be a while before we come back here. Would be happy having just a small wine and the ricotta toast

Yelp
It was a love hate relationship with this place. The food was amazing, loved the ricotta toast, the brussels with smoked trout also really stood out. The aricini was delish, as was the bolognese and pork belly. The small plates are perfect to share and with a group of 6, we spent around $30 for food each. It was the wait time, our reservation was at 730, we were asked to wait at the bar and didn't get seated until 830. The manager did come over and apologize, comped part of our food. I understand not pushing people out but when you watch a group pay, and sit there for 25 minutes longer drinking water, there's got to a polite way to clear the table and make it apparent there are reservations waiting to get seated. Tons of people were waiting at the bar and from previous reviews it seems like this isn't uncommon. Most of our food came out very quickly but our bottles of wine took over 20 minutes as did refills for water. Service could definitely improve but I did enjoy the food, shame that a reservation didn't guarantee a table in an appropriate amount of time.

Yelp
We came for dinner with family on a Saturday night and had a wonderful time. The food, ambiance and service were top notch. I loved almost everything we ordered and felt like the menu is a good mix of meat options and vegetarian options. They were happy to support the one vegan in our group by tweaking recipes on a few items. The restaurant was loud and busy, with low lighting giving a romantic atmosphere. Not ideal for my elderly parents who can't read menus in dark settings and can't hear in loud environments. Still, they enjoyed the food and adapted as best as they could. For them, probably 4/5 stars due to the noise and lighting, but for me, 5/5 stars. I'd love to come back here again for a nice date night or a social dinner with friends. Top dishes: Grilled mushrooms Beets and apple salad Prawns Donut desserts Okay to skip: Beef tartar (sauce was overpowering) Tiramisu (too bitter, hard to share)

Yelp
Came here to catch up with a friend. Reservations are definitely needed. This restaurant had the most amazing vibe, the wall I believe are all original brick and the decor compliments every aspect of this building. Perfect for a date night, or smaller group gathering as it does get fairly loud. Mackenzie was our waitress, and she was amazing. Very attentive and even wrote on a menu since we had some allergies and dietary restrictions. We got four plates to share among two people and the portions were perfect. They also came out in a timely manner. They have a great wine list and a few cocktails to choose from. My favorite item was the chili shrimp. I could eat two of those alone. The cacio e pepe was also on the top of my list! The tuna would have been up there, but it was super spicy for me. I highly recommend coming here for your next outing. I would say attire wise, you can't go wrong casual cute and even fairly dressy. I have already recommended Corsica to a few friends and plan on returning. Loved Brian, one of the managers going by and making sure we enjoyed our experience. He also gave us some history on the restaurant. Lovely touch. Overall strong 5/5!

Yelp
Enjoyed an amazing birthday dinner at Corsica this past weekend. The service was impeccable, we always had what we needed and were even given an extra dish when they ran out of things we ordered. Additionally, we were brought a birthday desert! The restaurant was somewhat busy on a Sunday night, we were seated in the back due to our large party which worked out as it was quieter so we could talk. Cat, our server, was super helpful and kind. The food was good, we tried a majority of the dishes and enjoyed most of them. Keep in mind that plates are very small so you'll have to order a good amount to leave satisfied. We enjoyed most plates, but the pork was a bit dry and fish was lacking in flavor. Our favorites were the Gemelli Cacio e Pepe, Calamari Salad, Tuna Carpaccio, and Shrimp. The drinks were fantastic, we ordered both cocktails and mocktails, and the martini came deconstructed which was a very fun experience. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
Corsica was a beautiful and spacious wine bar located a quick uber away from the union square station. My girlfriend and I need some time to kill before catching a flight from Denver airport. We swung by this lovely place. They offered to watch our bags while we ate. The wine selection was lovely and they just introduced their sunday half off on bottles deal. Their menu is shareable small plates. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and will be back again. Definitely recommend the cheesecake, the ricotta bread, and the mushrooms!

Yelp
Corsica is the sister restaurant to Barcelona Wine Bar. Decor is similar, with the exposed brick being a major feature of the building. While Barcelona is all about Spanish tapas (small plates), Corsica serves up Italian cuisine, tapas-style. My favorite element of this experience was the friendly service! We sat at the bar, and Megan graciously walked us through the impressive wine selection. We loved that there was a variety of natural, biodynamic, and organic wines available. We had a super tasty Lambrusco by the bottle, as well as a few glasses of orange wine, and other selections. My husband also tried some apertivos, which he enjoyed. My favorite bite was, surprisingly, the cornbread, which was unique in that it was presented as encased in a collard leaf. The chicken liver mousse was tasty. I would enjoy coming back with a larger group of friends, so as to sample more of the menu!

Yelp
Always a wonderful meal and experience at Corsica. Great, welcoming and friendly service! Love the rustic vibes, decor and comforting atmosphere. Service is always perfectly timed with the tapas and all the tapas compliment each other with the burst of flavors. All of the servers are always so knowledgeable about the menu, specials and cocktails. I also love how they always do personal recommendations that end up being my favorite drinks or menu items. Dined out as walk ins with with out-of-town guests on a Monday night after 8p reservation. The restaurant was accommodating with a 5 minute wait. Rino parking is always challenging, but on a Monday night, we scored parking just a block and a half away and a short walk. We really just enjoyed each other's company, and the delicious food all evening. I didn't take many photos of each order, but some of the favorites tonight were the multiple orders of the Barbajuan (crispy ravioli with ricotta, greens, parmigiano), Brussels Sprout Remoulade with smoked trout, tuscan kale, sesame, Corsican Frites (hand cut russets, fried herbs, aioli, calabrian ketchup), Salmon Rillettes (vinegar chips, tarragon, dill), Gemelli 'Cacio e Pepe (parmigiano, pecorino romano, hazelnuts), Farro 'Risotto' (mushroom, sunchoke, black truffle, sunflower-rosemary crisp), Grilled Chicken Thigh with the delicious vadouvan aioli, and the Beef Bavette With green peppercorn sauce, parsley. That green peppercorn sauce is SO GOOD! Jar it up and eat it with everything please! Also whether you want an NA or a good cocktail or a fantastic wine with your meal, you definitely need to order something at Corsica. I love their drinks! Tonight I ventured out of my norm and got the Picasso (reyka vodka, lillet rose, grapefruit, honeydew melon, lemon, peychauds, rosemary), but would definitely order rounds of the Wolfpack (four roses bourbon, braulio amaro, mattei cap corse rouge, salted honey, lemon, kinome) next time. Thank you Corsica for a wonderful meal! Our friends from Chicago really enjoyed the experience and now want to come back to explore the menu but also try Barcelona too.

Yelp
We stopped by this place during a recent visit to Denver. They have plenty of wines to choose from as well as a host of dishes from snacks to medium sized plates. We ordered several different items to share - all were wonderful. The ricotta toast was one of my favorite items. If you're downtown, this is a great spot to grab a bite!

Yelp
I recently went to Corsica Wine Bar for happy hour with some girlfriends. The building's exterior is impressive and definitely catches the eye. My friend had made a reservation, but it didn't seem necessary as the restaurant was quite large, and only a few tables were occupied when we arrived. One thing that bothered me right away was that they seated us uncomfortably close to another table, even though most of the restaurant was empty. It's frustrating when this happens, especially when there are plenty of open tables. We ordered drinks--some spritzes and wine. Right off the bat, two of my friends' drinks were mixed up. They put the spritz garnishes in the wine, so my friends were drinking the wrong ones. It was a funny mix-up, as one friend thought her spritz was missing something, while the other wondered why her wine was sparkling. We ordered a variety of small plates to share: the cacio e pepe, baked lobster pasta, Caesar salad, empanadas, beef, and whipped ricotta toast. The only real standouts were the Caesar salad and beef--both were excellent. The pastas, on the other hand, were disappointing. The cacio e pepe lacked flavor entirely, and the baked lobster pasta was dry, though the sauce had a nice taste. The whipped ricotta was fine, but it was also bland. One thing I do appreciate is that their kitchen stays open late, which is rare to find in Denver. I'd come back for that. My Aperol spritz was made well, with the right balance, though that's not too difficult to get right. Overall, I wouldn't add Corsica to my regular rotation, but I'd be willing to give it another try.

Yelp
A fantastic experience from start to finish! Made a reservation, highly recommend. Seated right away, and vibe inside was cozy and fun, nice light levels and table arrangements to use/fill the space but but feel like you are on top of your dining neighbor. Every cocktail we tried and wine we had was actually fantastic!! We utilized our servers knowledge to guide us all to our drinks. Same for the small plates, our server did such a good job explaining dishes to the four of us so we could decide what to order. We did a few rounds of orders with plates of various sizes, probably ordered 12 in total across the four of us. The menu changes, so we thought it was best to just ask for recommendations! Highly recommend Corsica, and will absolutely come back when I'm in the Denver area!

Yelp
What a beautiful way to repurpose an old building into such a stunning restaurant! The dining area is filled with thoughtfully placed antiquated items that add character and charm. We dined outside and had an absolutely lovely experience. The service was quick and friendly, making it the perfect spot for my friends and me to celebrate together. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid waiting and ensure you get the full experience. This place is ideal for a date night or a girls' night out. The food was outstanding overall--just a great atmosphere all around. My only caveat was that the oysters didn't quite have the flavor I was expecting, but everything else was fantastic! Pros: - beautifully renovated space with charming, antique decor, fast and friendly service, perfect for a date night or gathering with friends, outstanding food and overall experience Cons: - oysters weren't as flavorful as expected, reservations recommended
google avatar

Yelp
Do you like Barcelona then try this Mediterranean and Italian version? I love the long bar (first come and first serve) and the best seats are at the end of the bar where you can see the open kitchen. My favorite dish is this hazelnut small dates but I need to com back at least another 3 times to dry everything.
google avatar

Shelby N.

Yelp
Came back to try this place again after a few months and changes to the menu--and was much more impressed. It seems as though some much needed changes were made after my last visit. I have to say I was stuck between 4 and 5 stars for the food alone, but the service pushed me over the edge on giving a 5 star review. The food was much better this time--our highlights were the Beef Brochettes (so tender and flavorful), the Barbajuan (the flakiness of the ravioli was so good) and the Almond Cake. The stuffed dates were the only item we ordered that we didn't love, but that was more of a specific flavor that just wasn't for me I think. The service was absolutely outstanding and definitely made this dinner experience notable. We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. The food and service here are absolutely top notch. We had a larger party that we reserved the back private room for with a prix fix menu. There was not one bite of food that I didn't want a second bite of. Notable bites were the farro risotto (I kept coming back to that one), the bavette steak, vinegar potato chips and the grilled mushrooms. I went with the Wolfpack cocktail and I could drink this weekly. CJ, Julie and Devin all worked with me for this and they were all fantastic, friendly and super responsive.

Yelp
Small plates (tapas) concept, great when you want to try different dishes at once. Ordered the following dishes: - whipped ricotta toast - tuna carpaccio - corsican frites - summer caesar - barbajuan - branzino The ricotta toast is something I'd get again the next time I visit. It is delicious for lunch or dinner, doesn't matter what time of day it is. The tuna carpaccio has the most beautiful plating and the lemon with crispy quinoa pairing worked well. Crispy skin on the branzino was perfect. I wish we got more frites since I had a good amount of leftover sauce and wanted to keep eating it, but these were addicting. The service was also great as the host offered many recs and answered all of our questions so we can narrow down our selections to order. We enjoyed all the dishes overall and would definitely come to Corsica again if I'm in Denver especially to try more of the dishes I didn't get to. On another note, I also visited their sister restaurant Barcelona. it's also a tapas concept restaurant but it's more Spanish inspired while Corsica is more Mediterranean, coastal inspired from Corsica itself. I like both but Barcelona is more rustic and has a bigger menu. I like Corsica for a more elevated scene and vibe and their straightforward, simple menu. Both great eats if you're visiting Denver!!

Yelp
After writing my previous review, we were invited back to the restaurant by Mimi, the general manager. We were absolutely wowed from the minute we were shown to our table. Everyone on Mimi's team stopped by our table that night to greet us and make sure we were taken care of. Our server, Devin, was the sweetest and recommended all the best dishes. We were in awe of how much everyone at Corsica cared to make our night unforgettable after our first experience. We will 1000% be back!

Yelp
Cute spot for a girls night! Wine is reasonably priced, food is good but just small portions. The ambiance in the restaurant is also top tier in Denver

Yelp
Experience/Service: 5/5 Let. Me. Tell. You. Corsica ABSOLUTELY lives up to the hype. The ambiance is perfect. The lighting is low, the music is a perfect volume, and like Barcelona, it is tastefully decorated. Ambiance and decorations aside, the real star of the show was our waiter, Pipe, who literally made the dining experience 70000x better. His passion for the food, wine, and restaurant truly radiated from his body. His food recommendations, on point. His energy, on point. His wine recommendations, on point. If you are lucky enough to have him as your waiter, strap in because it's going to be an amazing experience. Taste: 5/5 The food was delicious. You simply HAVE to get the corn bread and the mushroom faro. The flavors were INSANE and the textures were divine. We really just ran with Pipe's recommendations and the dishes were hit, after hit, after hit. The almond cake is also fantastic (it's similar-ish to the olive oil cake at Barcelona). I cannot wait to come back. I cannot wait to try everything on the menu. And I cannot wait to have service of this caliber again. Welcome to RiNo, Corsica! With love, Cole

Ashley R.

Yelp
Every bite of food was delicious and packed with flavor. The ambience was great with the dim lighting and unique decoration. The manager was fabulous and gave us a great run down of the restaurant and how to read the menu. I recommend the ricotta toast, broccoli Caesar, mushroom arancini, and the chicken thigh. Definitely will be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome place! Arrived on a Monday around 5:30pm and it was quiet and I was able to snag a table. Glad I arrived when I did - this place fills up quickly! Excellent service, amazing food (don't skip the risotto), fantastic wine.

Yelp
This is my kind of restaurant. It's beautiful, the manager to the server were warm, welcoming and competent. Four us went and sampled around a dozen small plates, their thing. We had the gigante beans, bread service, salmon rillettes, acorn squash, mushroom arancini (my favorite), farro 'risotto', grilled shrimp (large!), bastian meatballs, grilled pork belly, and beef bavette. Not one of those plates was 'meh'. The cocktail program is creative, the flavors unique and put you in the mood to try them all! Also had a few desserts (tiramisu, olive oil cake), but delicious. This was a cold Tuesday night when the room noise was also lower (moderate). I love their sister restaurant Barcelona Wine Bar as well, especially for brunch when the room noise is low and conversation is possible w/out yelling. Nice job Corsica, we'll be back!

Yelp
Make a reservation in advance, because although this place is HUGE they are booked way in advance! Finally made it in on a Saturday and the place was packed! Super cute interior but in a loud and lively environment. We were a party of 2 and got the whipped ricotta toast, chicken liver mousse from the apero. The whipped ricotta toast was a bit on the salty side and the chicken liver mousse was a bit hard to eat the way it was spread onto the plate but it was good. We then got the scallop crudo (good but small and simple) barbajuan (delicious), frites (they gave us Heinz, not their homemade ketchup for sure), farro risotto (love the mushrooms on this), and porc aux olives (wish they gave us some bread to eat with this as it was just the meat). We also got the cheesecake. I'd say we were full and satisfied by the end. We got the cava that they advertise to start and a cocktail each. Overall, was a pretty pleasant meal. I would definitely come back to try the other things on the menu. And service was friendly.

Yelp
Love this restaurant! The service was impeccable with great recommendations from the server. We also loved everything we ordered. Not a cheap meal, but worth every penny! Don't skip dessert!

Yelp
Barcelona Wine bar's cooler, hotter, older sister!! Love the atmosphere so much. Our server had wonderful recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the wine collection. The food was 10/10. I love a decedent meal; everything was rich, crispy, cheesy, and delicious. All of the things you'd want in a meal. I ordered dessert fried raviolis with honey as an appetizer and I'm still thinking about them as I write this. The crispy potato's though? Favorite thing we had. Will be back to try more!

Samantha N.

Yelp
Place is so fun and perfect for a girls night out or date night . Really great vibes and places was packed. The risotto and arancini were our favorite dishes of the night. Surprisingly the only thing that wasn't our favorite was the wine. They had a good selection but a bit overpriced for a small pour.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and had a pleasant experience! First off the ambiance was so lovely. Very cozy and great vibes for any occasion! Loved the service here. It was pretty busy and sat at the counter which honestly is the best spot because it felt more intimate! The server was busy but also attentive! Left a great impression. The food was delicious! I love that it was tapas and love ordering different varieties. Got some of the small plates and each plate I ordered was truly delicious. Very rustic and simple! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I was happy my gf snagged a resy at this new spot in rino on a Friday night. Our reservation was for 8:30, and we ended up getting a table at 8:45. I highly recommend getting a res as the walk ins were being quoted 1.5-2 hours for a table. I was surprised that the inside was LARGE (I think 3 dining areas?) and very loud. However, I thought the ambiance was nice with dim lighting and wood finishes. We were sat at a small table and immediately offered a $5 pour of a wine from Corsica, which I thought was a nice touch (and delicious). Our server, Leanne, was one of the best servers I've had. She was extremely thoughtful and marked up the menu to only show the veggie options for us. She also had a lot of great recommendations and was just overall attentive. We ordered several small plates (6 in total) and were happy with some and could pass on others. Our favorites were the whipped ricotta toast, farro risotto, and cacio e Pepe. The squash and mushroom skewers were both just okay. The frites were a pass, the potato slices were just too big to have any good flavor or crunch. The standout was the dessert - almond cake - which was PHENOMENAL. One of the best desserts I've had! Wine was also great, but that was to be expected. Overall, I'd say this is a cute little spot for a date night, especially for a light bite and some wine.

Yelp
Great new spot with a cool vibe from the same people as Barcelona Wine Bar -- so I'm sure it'll soon be packed all the time, too. Great service, delicious French/Italian small plates, fantastic wine and cocktail options -- plus a late night kitchen until 12 or 1am! COST Yes it's pricy (our bill was about $180 for 2 people, but we got the nicest glasses of champagne, the most expensive glasses of Pinot Noir, and were full at the end). If you go in with the idea that $17 is too much for a small bowl of mussels and white fish -- no mater how delicious -- maybe don't go here. FOOD Recommended items: warm olives, nduja stuffed dates, scallop crudo, meatballs, mussels and white fish, almond cake. The potato wedges looked legit as an affordable filler, too! (The white beans and veal olive stew are 2 we wouldn't get again -- just a bit salty.)

Yelp
I went back to Corsica for my second time and wow, my experience was just incredible. I tried an entirely different portfolio of flavors and I was incredibly impressed. The crudo was one of our favorites as it was not only so fresh and melted in your mouth but it also had such a fun textural element to it! The corn was also super innovative (as it was served cold) but it felt very refreshing and playful - I definitely recommend it! Our service, just like last time, was top tier and the Corsica staff treated us like old friends. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
We came back a few months after it seemed like they were getting their reservation system figured out. Got seated right on time and the food and wine was outstanding. The oysters, mussels, meatballs, and stuffed mushroom all stood out. Wine selection was great as well. We will be back!

Yelp
After giving this spot another go, it's def gained a star in my eyes. I still totally stand by my previous statement that this is some of the best customer service in rino. They really provide excellent service. Pipè went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and he had the best recommendations. The mushroom risotto is hands-down the best thing on the entire menu. I would come back from for this dish alone! I think if you want a more romantic vibe, weeknights are the move!

Yelp
We came here for my birthday dinner and we were really excited to try it. The menu is not as extensive as some other wine and tapas places. We ordered the Beefsteak Tomato (decent), olives (good), Rigatoni Bolognese (delish), Mussels l'Aziminu (probably our favorite thing), bread (meh), and the tuna carpaccio (WAY too much citrus). The staff was nice and helpful. The sommelier was on vacation, so the waiter did his best to help us. We ordered a bottle of wine sort of at random and later realized we were given a different bottle. No big deal, it was still good and we just told them that it was different and just to charge us for the one they gave us (it was cheaper anyway). We got a dessert on the house for my birthday, which was kind of them. We did the tiramisu and the almond cake. Both were delicious. All in all we had a great dinner, but I think I would prefer to go to their sister restaurant, Barcelona, for the larger variety. Since you end up ordering more things when the plates are small it's nice to have more options.

Yelp
I love this place. Inside is super noisy, so I'd recommend the patio if weather permits. Service has been super friendly and attentive. Here's where I do the whole I've been to the island of Corsica. Actually used to spend summers there, so this place is bittersweet. The wine is fantastic as curated by adv somm Austin. All the things we've ordered: gigante beans (words don't explain my love for these), Tuna carpaccio (delic), meatballs (delic), cannelloni (this is extra because the cheese used is quintessentially Corsican), beef bavettes (the beef was tough but the sauce was amazing), fiadone (classic Corsican), and the almond cake are so effing delicious. I can't recommend enough.

Yelp
For as great as the food was (the stuffed dates were to die for) the wait time was horrendous. I made a reservation well in advance and we still waited over an hour to be seated. When we asked why the wait was so long, they told us they don't ask people to leave to their tables once their reservation is up. Others who arrived at the restaurant around the same time as my group also waited for over an hour to be seated. We were thanked for waiting so long, but were offered no apologies nor any compensation. I don't know if I would return despite enjoying the food because the management was terrible.

Yelp
After a few early speed bumps, Corsica came through! The service was very detailed and attentive this last time I was there. The wine selection is great and the food has been good, with plenty of great options for every palate. I will be back!

Yelp
WOW! Food, service, atmosphere, drinks...there isn't a bad thing I can say about this place! We each ordered a cocktail which were delicious. We then ordered the whipped ricotta toast and the broccoli Caesar to start.... both delicious. For our main meal we shared several plates such as muscles, cacio y pepe, mushroom arancini, meatballs, and pork belly. The portions were perfect to share between 2 people. While it was a little pricey, we got to try many different fine dishes so I would definitely say it's worth it. We cannot wait for our next date here!!

Yelp
We went to Corsica for a date night and had so much fun! We sat at the bar and it was super cute, the whole atmosphere is a vibe. It's decorated great and had a cool/trendy ambiance. The service was great, our bartender was friendly while still giving us time/space to look at the menu and enjoy our meal. Drinks were delicious! The food was pretty good, I loved the cacio e pepe and the burrata toast. The tiramisu was fabulous! The meatballs were fine, and the caesar salad was kind of plain (I would've liked the dressing to have more flavor). All in all, would totally go back!

Yelp
We had amazing service here! The host, waiter, and a manager all took the time to wish my friend a Happy Birthday. Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed all of our dishes, but we especially loved the meatballs & mussels. Elegant dining room, great date night spot.

Yelp
Another great wine bar in Denver! So popular we had to get reservations weeks in advance. The line was out the door and even with reservations we had to wait a little for our table. Gorgeous establishment, although a little loud and hard to hear. Since they had just opened and they were so busy, the service was a little chaotic. We ordered drinks and a few different plates of food (not all pictured). Unfortunately the whipped ricotta toast got lost in the kitchen even after we checked on it a few times and when it came out it was slightly burnt but the flavor outside of that was amazing and it would have been our favorite dish. They ended up taking it off our bill which was kind. The manager came around a few times to ensure we were taken care of which I always appreciate. We'll definitely go back in a few months once it isn't as busy and they've had time to settle in!

Yelp
Corsica is a lovely tapas bar in RiNo! It's in a charming building with a lovely patio, and trendy decor. I had stopped by to check out the menu while passing through but didn't get a chance to stop in until the Wednesday before last. My date and I had just finished at the Clifford Still Museum and headed back to my side of town for eats! We were not disappointed, as all the dishes we tried were fabulous! We tried both pastas, the buratta, beet salad and the meatballs and left full and satisfied! We also tried a mocktail each, and loved both our drinks. I love when a restaurant supports those of us that don't drink with options that are just as yummy and feel just as fancy! I can't wait to go back, and I predict that Corsica will be a neighborhood staple in no time at all.

Yelp
Wonderful new restaurant you must try in the Denver area. Since they didn't offer it I decided to make my own tasting menu of sorts. I started off with the Wolfpack cocktail and it was absolutely incredible. Everything I want in a drink, a little sweet, a little tart and a little bourbon. I also had the Chardonnay from Burgundy, France which went very well with the rest of what I ordered. I started with the whipped ricotta toast and then had the rest in order, beet salad, scallop crudo, fries, and brandzino. The bartender was very nice and decided to share his favorite with me which was the Barbajuan and that was probably one of my favorites. Everything had excellent flavor. I would love to come back and try more. Thanks Matt. See you next time.

Yelp
Big fan of Barcelona wine bar so was super excited they were opening a sister restaurant nearby! Been several times now and have had mixed experiences but overall think this is a great place to grab some wine with friends and have a bite to eat! The chips and dip are a must order. I love the presentation of all their dishes as well as the ambiance. They have well priced wine as well. Came for dinner once but didn't love everything we ate. Ricotta toast and salmon carpaccio fell short of expectations. Timing of food coming out was also unorganized but may have been due to them being a new spot. Will be back for wine and bite with friends though!

Yelp
We made reservations about an hour before arriving on a Tuesday..it was packed! We were seated promptly. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. The place was quite loud and it was hard to talk but that was because it was so busy! The inside is as cool as the outside with lots of seating! we were offered a complementary 3oz pour of a rosé wine which was delicious! The menu was large with plenty of tapas to share! But definitely not a dinner spot if you have a large appetite. I love that You can get a 3oz pour or a 6oz pour of wine so you can explore the selections! I would definitely return and recommend.. but more for the wines versus the food.
