Cortado Café - Review - City Centre - Bath - The Infatuation
"Cortado Café is a specific kind of cafe—the sitcom cafe. Windows are steamed up, friends sit in the same seat at the same time every week, and the mood is always set to impossibly charming and upbeat. It’s a warm and cosy pit stop (expect to smile apologetically while cramming yourself past someone at the till), and made all the better by the Argentinian-leaning menu and pistachio lattes. The empanada fillings aren’t traditional (buffalo chicken and blue cheese, saag paneer), but they are tasty. And the breakfast, complete with oily, smoky Argentinian chorizo, is comforting." - Sinéad Cranna
It was our first visit to Bath and we wanted nice breakfast to start the day. We discovered this little cafe that serves pancakes 🥞.
Very busy but we got a table straight away. Coffee came very quickly and we drunk it straight away. It was so cold inside because the door was wedged open. And we waited absolute ages for the food to arrive. But once it came it was worth waiting for. We had the pancakes and they were fresh and the plate looked really good. Well done.
Set us up for the day nicely. Thank you.

Me and my friend visited for the weekend and found this cafe. Staff were so friendly, coffee was delicious and the pancakes we had were the best I’ve had anywhere, portion was massive too! Highly recommend will be coming back on our next visit to bath

There is a queue to be seated, and the place is really small without too much seating, BUT the food is great, and the coffee is sensational. The service is also faultless. Would definitely return and queue again for it!

This place is a gem! A small very friendly Argentinian cafe is a must for breakfast and lunch. The food is very fresh and would heartily recommend the Pancakes and Empanadas. Team this with one of their salads, Delicious coffee or fruity smoothies and you’re set for the day! On the 3 times we went there we had to wait for a table as it is small and very very popular but believe you me it is worth the wait. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommended!!

Superb brunch, if you can get in. The Argie Brunch is wonderful, but my partner had the pistacho pancakes which were on a whole different level. Make sure you get some Argentinian Empinadas too.
Only criticism is how tightly packed it is in such a small space. Hopefully an adjacent block will become available so it can expand!

You know a cafe is good when there is a queue! Fortunately we only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious, service was speedy and the price was very competitive. The pistachio latte was incredible, as was all the food. Can highly recommend.

Being a brunch enthusiasts and having visited quite a few places across the UK, this is definitely one of the best. I would recommend it to everyone! The food is just so delicious and generous with the portion and the cortado is really good as well!

All round fantastic. So busy, but staff got me a seat pretty quick. My cortado was the best I have had for a long time. Equally good the avocado on toast. Absolutely perfect.
People were lingering over empty cups for far too long when there were people waiting for seats for breakfast, not great. Let others share the joy!
