The cocktails were great and the ambience was really nice. One of the servers was real pretentious and the bartender/server was super nice. The Arancini was delicious. I had the "100 Layer Lasagna" and was disappointed that it came out lukewarm and kind of small. I guess I expected it to look more impressive. Overall it was good, but nothing worth going back to.

Nice dining month spot! The carrot appetizer was the best carrots I have ever had. The arancini was perfect, but the pesto sauce with it was amazing. Will return for that saus! Lasagna was tasty. A little soft or squishy, while some ground meat was kinda grainy and dry. The porchetta was also good but overall the dish too sweet for my taste. Overall nice spot!

Amazing experience here. Food was top notch, service from the entire staff was some of the friendliest I have ever experienced in Portland, and one of the rare happy hour menus that is actually worth while. Thank you, cannot wait to return.

The Wednesday special was good. The lasagna was nothing special and I did not like it. Little Italy was a good drink. The staff were nice

This is my favorite Italian restaurant for so many reasons. It's a real neighborhood spot that's small and cozy. Great authentic food that knocks it out of park with balanced flavors and a short wine list. If you want more wine selections, go to 1856 Wine Bar next door and bring it with you. They have small (but very friendly) staff, so just be patient, have a cocktail and think slow food - like in Italy!

Wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant. We live nearby and finally made it in for dinner. The Brussels Sprout Caesar salad is really delicious and very unique. Also recommend the arugula/herb salad.. Entrees were amazing, as was the dessert. The portions are the perfect size. Thoughtfully composed food using seasonal ingredients. Staff friendly and enthusiastic.

Excellent food, wine and service. Casual atmosphere. Very pleasant. Only negative is restaurant layout is kind of funky which can make it feel like a less premium dinner experience than the check (and the quality of the food) would indicate. Will go back!

Johnny has another smash hit. The relaxed atmosphere from the roll up door, to the patio, to the intimate bar... you know your day is done and it's time for some serious down time. Only open a little over a month, and yet a strong crew working seamlessly to make the evening a pleasure. The selection will have you making choices which are best solved by surrendering to the idea of multiple evenings of enjoying the fare. The smoked pork lasagna topped with kale was a fresh delight. The roasted baby carrots make a great starter and all is forgiven if you indulge with your fingers. The roasted cubed baby potatoes aren't exactly French fries, but the heavenly dill goddess dip isn't catsup and this isn't Paris. Go for it. We finished off with the outstanding moose with fresh berries and the homemade vanilla ice cream with fresh Oregon strawberries. There is a reason they call them "flavor bombs". The wine selection is perfect without being overwhelming. This is a hidden gem in the Northeast neighborhood... and you owe it to yourself. With moderate prices, more than one visit is a good thing.
