"Known for its minimal aesthetic and accessible price point, COS is a destination for streamlined urban pieces for men and women. Its new DTLA location showcases the brand's best, arranging its latest styles according to color, punctuating the racks with its neutral grey and tan pieces. With locations throughout LA and the US, this space is one of our favorites because it’s housed in the historic Olympic Building, an LA landmark built in 1927. COS kept the integrity of the space in tact while it restored it to new levels. The result is an open, airy, light-filled setting that makes it easy to kill an entire afternoon shopping–before heading to nearby Little Sister for a late lunch."
Manager at this store is dishonest and purposefully advertises fake information to bait and switch customers. I don’t have a COS store in my city and went out of my way to visit. We visited the store on Feb 19 in the morning.
A wooden sign on the street said 50% off all sale. Great! I picked an item off the sales rack but when it came time to pay I only got 30% off. When I clarified the mismatch they said that the sign outside said “up to 50% off”. Okay - our bad! When we left we saw that the sign indeed said 50% off all sale. When we went back in asking for a price adjustment the manager said that the correct sign broke. putting out the wrong sign was “business decision” to protect her business and asked us to respect the choice. She then tried to blame the situation on us and said we should have asked before we bought (we did). She then said that she would NOT price match or honor what was advertised, but she would be happy to return the items (which wasn’t the issue here). My partner and I returned everything for the principle of the situation, because we can’t support the dishonest business practices that I don’t think represent COS. When we tried to ask for a name so we can reach out to COS’ customer support she was very short and said “why would I give you my name” and refused to do so. Hmm - if you’re going to make a business decision to advertise false sales you should be confident to put your name behind the choice. Disappointing because we love COS and the clothes we had picked out, but this store’s practices are not okay.

No dressing room access, but you can try things on over your clothes. Great for a woman who can roll up in there with a cat suit. I'm a dude. Now I have to pull out my compression tights & tee underneath a trench coat to be "try on" ready.

My favorite clothing store in town. Hands down. First, I appreciate that the company kept the original facade, an old theater from the Broadway LA era. That already says a lot. And of course the minimal decor and the clothing selection. I wish they had a bigger section for men, but that happens everywhere. Fantastic customer service. Pics taken with Pixel 4 XL

The staff was very friendly and helpful & once I chose the blouse I liked, JJ suggested bottoms I could wear with it & a colored camisole or tank to wear underneath, as I didn't want my worldly goods on display
