Cosentino's Downtown Market is on the corner, across from The Yardhouse. They validate parking for up to 2 hours with any purchase.
My husband and I stopped by this market earlier today, thinking we could do some grocery shopping and also see what we may want to eat for lunch. If you are coming for a meal, you can purchase a premade sandwich or one made fresh, a slice of pizza, premade salad or check out the salad bar ($9/ lb), fried chicken or catfish, chef's meal (fish, pork, beef, etc), various of pastries, chocolates and cakes, gelato, tea/ coffee and sushi. We ended up choosing the following for lunch:
16 oz Chai Latte, $3.99 prior to tax- This chai latte came hot and it tasted nice and smooth. Great size for the price.
Grilled Chicken Club Salad, $9.99 prior to tax- I decided to just get a large salad instead of trying to make my own salad (because the price can add up). My salad did not come with salad dressing but you can purchase a packet of dressing for $0.59. The same for if you make your own salad from the salad bar, it does not come with dressing and only dressing in a packet is available. The size of this salad was more than plenty to share with my husband. The amount of chicken was very generous. The salad is made with iceberg and romaine lettuce
2 Piece Chicken Meal, $9 prior to tax- This meal comes with 2 sides, my husband picked assorted vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy. His vegetables were overcooked, as they were very soft. The vegetable mix was broccoli, cauliflower and sliced carrots. The mashed potatoes and gravy was good. The chicken was also just fine. My husband enjoyed his meal and felt full afterwards.
Cinnamon Roll, $2 prior to tax- The price for the size of this cinnamon roll is very cheap so my husband had to get it. He has not had it yet and most likely will try some later this evening and probably finish the rest tomorrow morning.

(Total= $27.80 after tax)
We also ended up doing some grocery shopping afterwards, mostly picked up fruits and vegetables. The prices surprisingly aren't too expensive. The produce seem to be on par with another local grocery market that I had shopped at a few days ago. The employee who rang us up the first time (for our lunch) was very friendly. The second employee (who rang us up when we purchased our grocery items) was nice but not overly friendly.
There is a nice dining area upstairs and there is also a dining area by the registers at the front of the store. There is also self serve water in both areas.
If you wish to use the restroom, you have to as the employees at the customer service desk for the code.
If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regular at this market.
