I had a wonderful experience at Cosi in Newport today. The food was fresh and satisfying, but what made the visit truly memorable was the service. Jessica and Darius were both incredibly warm and welcoming — they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Their friendliness and positive energy really stood out and made the whole experience special. Thank you both for making lunch feel like such a pleasant break in the day. Highly recommend Cosi not just for the food, but also for the people who make it great!

Spacious location that serves salads, sandwiches, soups and flat breads and more. Got their taste 2 deal for $14.99 which were generous portions. The sauce on the salad was too heavy and the bread was very flavorful.

I ordered the adobo lime chicken—pretty average, but way overpriced for what it is. The staff was terrible. There was no wait, yet I stood there calling the cashier right in front of me multiple times with no response. Honestly, I’d rather go to Chipotle for better food and a much better experience at the same price.

I have been to a few cosís before, but this one is definitely my favorite. The lunch crew, such as Bree, make everyone feel so welcome and are so kind. I’ve watched them reccomend food, remember people’s orders, make jokes with customers. It makes the place feel more like a local joint than a chain. The new menu changes are also great! Overall, reccomend coming here!

The food at Cosi is very tasty and fresh. The staff is always very friendly and acknowledges you as you walk in the store. The staff is always attentive and always recommending new foods to try. Their Square bagels are always fresh made in the morning. Must try them with butter it’s out of this world. Gotta stop by if you never had their food. The taste 2 on the menu is my favorite. Soup and Sandwich is the best. The employee that stands out is Brie who is always greeting me with her charming smile. And Narcisa is also amazing as soon as she sees me she already starts making my food. Love my Cosi.

One of the best “bagels” I have ever had in my life. It’s more like a soft ciabatta than a bagel really. We ordered the garden fresh avocado bagel on a jalapeño and cheese and a meatless spicy chorizo and egg on a jalapeño and cheddar. They were both amazing. Also got an iced latte with oat milk and fresh orange juice and it was very good. We loved it so much that I said to the lady at the counter I would like to order about 12 bagels for tomorrow so I can bring it home. She said that’s fine call tomorrow as it will be fresh. I called the next day around 12.30 and spoke to someone else on the phone who said they have stopped serving breakfast and they aren’t making anymore bagels. Why would the lady from the lady before not tell me this? We live 3 hours away from jersey city too.

This place is THE BEST! Yes, everything they make is so tasty and fresh and delicious. The staff is outstanding! Darius and Brie are perfect examples of what a perfect employee should be. Jessie is lovely! Even met the district manager. What an awesome guy! I visit sometimes twice in one day! Love you, guys!!!

I am never one to post a review online. My mother and I have been trying to find a place to use the bathroom in the area. We walked into the restaurant and walked over to the bathroom. We were rudely denied access to the bathroom simply because we did not ask. We were told we would’ve been allowed to go if we had asked. We understand that we had not ordered any foot yet, but the employee did not even give us the chance to. Denying access to the bathroom in such a rude manner (without any signs explaining that bathrooms were customers only, even though we’re planning on ordering after) was very disrespectful.
