March 2025, a last-minute dining decision that turned into a great experience. Cosima is a perfect destination for date night, but what lured me to try them was the free valet parking. Located off Falls Road, this restaurant was a mix of casual and elegant. We reserved bar seating. However, when we arrived, those seats were taken, and we had to wait around 40 minutes for high chair seating. Other than that, I had no complaints. Service and drinks were excellent and the food was good. I recommend this to my fellow restaurant adventurers. 5 stars. (P.S. bring cash to tip the valet parking attendant and be ready for the 30% automatic gratuity.)

We had a great lovely happy hour turned dinner at Cosima! Our waiter was super attentive and kind. He recommended the branzino and I loved his recommendation. He even filleted the fish for me at the table! It was such a lovely atmosphere. If even rained when were outside And the seating is covered. It was still lovely with the rain.

Really loved this place! Great atmosphere, beautiful and cozy interior, and the lighting was just right. We were impressed by the rushing river nearby and the charming outdoor patio. The appetizers were 10/10 — absolutely delicious! Drinks were fantastic too. The service was excellent and the staff super friendly. I had the creamy veggie pasta with lime — tasty, though the flavor combo was a bit unusual, definitely for an adventurous palate. My husband had the chicken — it was a solid 10/10!

Absolutely spectacular & 1/3 the price of comparable places that, frankly, are technically great but less edgy & more predictable. Sit at the counter & watch the camaraderie of these guys; they love sharing & creativity, and you can feel it. Every course was fascinating & new. Fidel is kind & open hearted. We need to attend the bake sale (announce them on socials, guys! The tortillas are heaven). They didn’t rush us, and it was such fun. What a great place. Well return. If you don’t like what this incredibly creative group is doing, check your soul haha. Thanks, Fidel & all, for a wonderful evening. Loved every bite & the whole vibe. We still can’t believe how fairly priced it is, for all that you get. Rare, in this town. Keep it up, we can’t wait to see where you go in the future. You get it.

Such a great staff! Attended one of the wine dinners, and it was amazing. Will definitely be going back! Great craft cocktails, food, wine, and desserts! Looking forward to the next set of events!

I discovered Cosima while visiting another restaurant in the area. They offer free valet parking and outdoor dining. I didn't get a chance to sit at the bar even though I had a reservation for a bar table, which is actually a high-top table, and it was better. The service was great, and the food was tasty, even though my experience was filled with a lot of questions.

Overall everything was ok. Pizza was on par with any other standard pizza stalls but fell really short compared to what you get from an Italian restaurant. Nonetheless other dishes were quite good. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. Great for dinner.

Cosima offers the undeniable convenience of complimentary valet parking, which is certainly a plus in Baltimore. However, my recent dining experience left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. While the pasta was acceptable, the overall quality of the food failed to justify the surprisingly high prices. Considering Baltimore's vibrant culinary scene, where exceptional meals can often be found at more reasonable price points, Cosima's pricing structure left me puzzled. The octopus was merely okay, and the calamari was unfortunately forgettable. Sardines? Forget it The atmosphere struck me as leaning towards a more traditional and perhaps less exciting dining experience – the kind of place you might visit with your parents for a quiet dinner. It lacked the spark and energy I've come to appreciate in Baltimore's diverse restaurant landscape. Ultimately, my visit to Cosima was a bit of a disappointment. While the free valet is a definite perk, the mediocre food and unexpectedly high prices didn't align with the overall experience. I'm hopeful that Cosima will re-evaluate its menu and pricing in the future, and I'd be open to revisiting and updating my review if improvements are made. For now, however, I'd suggest exploring some of the other fantastic and more reasonably priced dining options that Baltimore has to offer.

Yelp
First off, if you're not familiar with the area you may get lost (like me). My GPS would only give me the address to The Mill. So, their entrance is NOT at 3000 Falls Road. I think all the properties share the same address. Don't turn LEFT/RIGHT on Chestnut. When you get close, look for the 1 Mill sign on the side of a building. You'll also see the Cosima sign. Had I been paying attention rather than depending on my navigation I may have see all of that. Then you drive down the steep driveway to be greeted by the Valet. Once you get down there, it kind of feels like a different place. Think Little Italy. It's cute, and the valet is free. Okay, about the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy with dim lighting, but enough to see and feel comfortable. There weren't that many people there, so it gave 'neighborly gathering' vibes. Like we lived in a small village, and this is where everybody comes to eat. Bri was our server, and she was GREAT! We were mid conversation about another restaurant that claims to have the best octopus when she revealed they also serve octopus. WINNING! The description is of the octopus (POLPO ALLA GRIGLIA) was that it was served over potato salad. What? Bri explained it was really just potatoes. And it was good. AND I also ate the potatoes. We also had the Burrata, which you can never go wrong with that! Those were appitizers. Our meal consisted of the fettuccini and Casarecce (which I had to look up because I had never heard of that style of pasta). My partner loves squid ink fettuccini and she was not disappointed. The casarecce dish was also tasty. Bri explained the sausage is made in house. It was delicious. I was kind of worried about having broccoli in my pasta, but it blended right in and actually gave it more umph! Lastly, there is the tiramisu! It was perfect. I wonder if the dish appeals to me because it has coffee, and I AM a coffee connoisseur side! Ha. This is a cute spot. Check it out.

Yelp
They offered complimentary valet and since it was a chilly night this worked out perfect. The ambiance was beautiful. The service was excellent from the minute we entered until we left. I was here a few years back and the food was excellent. I've been wanting to go back but haven't had a chance to. We were near here recently so decided to stop in. We were able to get seated quickly without reactions. It was busy but not packed . We prefer the garlic bread which was fine. I also ordered the shrimp with tomato and feta. The sauce was ok, just a little salty. The shrimp itself tasted very bland when I bit into it. I also got the octopus which came with potatoes. My husband liked the potatoes. I thought the Octopus was one of the worse ones I've ever had. It was extremely salty and the texture seemed slightly overcooked. I have a high salt tolerance, so me saying it was too salty is saying a lot. I rated it a 2 out of 10. My husband ordered lamb rack, He said it was ok, he rated it a 5 out of 10. The couscous with chickpeas that was paired with the lamb was good. I'm not sure if it was an off night, But I was very disappointed by the food.

Yelp
I often forget about Cosima, tucked away in the hilly part of Hampden, I went for the first time a few years ago for restaurant week. It's a LARGE restaurant with the cutest outdoor seating area - it's right on the creek so it's a lovely spot to sit when the weather is nice. I read about their happy hour recently, so I went back. The service is great, I always love a place where they give you a carafe of water. The spritz were fine, I got a Spagliatto and didn't love it, but they had a great Vermentino on the wine list and it was delightful. The food was fine, we got fried olives (they became more addictive the more you ate them), the tuna stuffed pepers (lacked flavor), and white wine mussels. Since it's an Italian place there are no fries, and we asked for extra bread but it wasn't enough to soak all the delightful juices. I do think it's a great spot for HH and the place was BUSY on a Thursday, and happy hour goes until 7, which is really nice. I think the fact that they have Vermentino is enough for me to go back, the food was fine, nothing spectacular but definitely good.

Yelp
"Hey honey, wanna go on a date tonight?" is literally how we ended up visiting Cosima. It was reviewed by a popular instagram food blogger that I follow: @charmcitytable & from there I knew it was somewhere I wanted to visit. Starting with the location, Cosima is pretty hidden, in a cool way. They have their own garage and offer free valet parking, which was an awesome touch. To be honest, everything was a perfect 10/10 for me. We had an 8 PM reservation & were immediately seated. Our table was secluded, our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and offered suggestions, and things just went great from start to finish. He offered us drinks & we both selected espresso martinis. We split a Sardines appetizer, after deciding to live on the wild side and I was surprised at how good they were. The garnish, sweet peppers or onions, was a nice touch and we devoured them. The garlic butter bread was warm, as well as nice and fresh and their marinara was top tier. The Wife got the whole branzino fish from the seasonal menu, and I got the Italian meatloaf and we shared between the two of us. We both loved our dishes. The portions were big so we were able to take some home for lunch the next day as well. We finished the night with a glass of Cabernet, recommended by our waiter with a chocolate lava cake that we split. As I mentioned earlier, from the service, to the meal, everything was top of the line. 10/10 and we will be back.

Yelp
We came in a group of five Sunday night after a trip to the movies, and our experience was great. All the staff we interacted with were happy, friendly, and helpful. The food was fantastic, from the delicious, warm bread and olive oil, to the shareables and entrees. Shareables: The garlic shrimp in marinara was so good, I loved the classic croquette, the octopus was absolutely fabulous, and the arancini was classic. Mains: Two of our group got the penne al pistacchio, and really liked it. The eggplant lasagna was delicious, but honestly too much so I got to eat it twice when I had it for lunch the next day! Another of our group had the pizza momento and it was so good with chorizo on top. I had a wonderful night here and can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Yelp
Be careful driving to the restaurant if it's your first time because you can miss it but the drive way has a steep little hill that feels like ! They have free valet but be sure to tip them! They're sweet and work really hard. This was my first time here my wife made us reservations for our anniversary! Once we arrived we had a little wait which was ok because we got seats at the bar. We were able to get some drinks while waiting. I got a delicious mocktail and it was freaking amazing! I loved that it wasn't filled with juice! Their mocktails are made with loved and the one I got I felt like I was drinking real Prosecco! My wife had their version of an old fashioned and she loved it! We were escorted to our table and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our server to give us waters and to take our order but he was super nice and attentive! We ordered octopus 1000/10. Fried Calamari and shrimp 10/10 & the warmed baguette it was just bread nothing special. Also, I order the pasta that had pistachios on it (got on the side) but sent it back because it lacked flavor and seasoning! Just FYI it came with nothing else but pasta and sauce for $34.00. They were so accommodating they gave us some dessert for our anniversary! I will definitely come back! The ambiance was amazing as well! Love the authentic feel! Overall a 4 out of 5.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! I did not expect to love this place as much as I did. On first arrival, we were a little lost on where to park, but for those visiting, follow the orange arrow and drive down the driveway! Once you enter the restaurant, you are wowed by the beautiful interior. I truly cannot get over how stunning the bar area is as well. We came here for happy hour and had the best dishes ever at reasonable prices. I highly recommend their pizza, it is phenomenal! I will 100% be back.

Yelp
My partner and I went to Cosima for Valentine's Day and had a great experience. I recently went primarily gluten free, so my partner picked Cosima to give me a place with plenty of options. The Valentine's Day menu was a fixed price of $95 pp, where you picked an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. We also got a bottle of wine to share and ordered a gluten-free baguette an additional price. I will say, while the quality of the food was good, and had plenty of options, I found the overall meal to be a bit overpriced. The appetizers we got were tasty, but not the quality and taste I would've expected. The entrees were fantastic - my partner and I both got the crab cakes and scallops which were served over a creamy saffron risotto. The serving of risotto overwhelmed the (two of each) crab cakes and scallops. I felt my scallops were a bit overcooked but had great flavor. The crab cakes were amazing though, especially for a gluten-free option. The dessert was stunning and unique, no complaints here. The service was great, our waiter was attentive and charming, and did a good job of checking on all his tables. I found the atmosphere to be beautiful, with complimentary valet parking. Perfect date night spot. I would love to try Cosima again for a date night and branch out to their non-Valentine's options. Overall, I would say the dinner was worth it, even if it was a tad overpriced in my opinion.

Yelp
I enjoyed the place and the food! It's really nice and different. It's like European style! I like the ambience, service and the food! It's not like other copy paste Italians... My new favorite place! I am looking forward to go againnn

Yelp
I think i'll have to come back and give this place another try. I dropped in for entrees only because I was on a "Woodberry Food Tour", but what I got was just okay. GLOWS :The restaurant is beautiful. The outdoor seating is truly a highlight, but it was chilly out, so we opted to sit inside. The service was also efficient and effective. GROWS: I tried the lobster pasta dish and the flavor was just okay. There was nothing special about the dish. The lobster tail was also very hard to work with inside of the pasta (maybe even a little overcooked). There could have been a different plating to make it easier to enjoy the meal. Perhaps, popping the lobster meat out and using the shell for decoration instead of having to dig and pull to remove the meat from shell. We also tried a seafood dish (I forgot the name), but it was almost like a paella but with couscous. That dish was better, but the couscous was served cold and I just couldn't figure out why that choice was made.

Liyah A.

Yelp
The garlic bread set the expectations way too high. If I'm honest, the garlic bread was the best garlic bread I've ever had in my entire life. I also had a Mocktail and I thought it was fairly price and a decent flavor. However the pasta I ordered was unbelievably dry and flavorless. I was so disappointed because this was recommended by the server and she compared it to what she had in Italy. Obviously not her fault since she wasn't the chef but still disappointing. I only ate the clams since the pasta was dry and I can't waste my calories on subpar food. I would come back but only for the garlic bread and mocktails, not the pasta. The restaurant is also beautiful so it would be cute spot for dates but I don't know if it was a bad day or if my experience is an accurate representation of the food. I also had the pizza and was also unimpressed. I went with a friend and she also had the same thoughts as me. In love with the garlic bread the pasta and pizza not impressive. The servers were friendly as well.

Yelp
YES YES AND YES! We can't wait to return, $10 pizzas on Thursdays, wine selection was great! We sat at the bar for a little while, music was good too! Bartender was very informative. Only thing was getting to the location, definitely tucked away. On site parking/complementary valet parking is nice however nerve wracking being the garage is small

Yelp
Half of this meal was superb and the other half was good. The restaurant itself has massive ambiance - to get there you wind down a narrow driveway down to the river. When you get to the bottom it feels like you've discovered a secret. The building sits right on the river, and the patio overlooks it. Truly gorgeous. The highlights: * Burrata, tomato confit, and pesto crostini. This was so decadent any one component would have been a treat, but all of them together were a party. * Melon soup - this was served chilled and was sweet and almost cupcake-like. Very unexpected, but in a very good way. * Panna cotta - the texture was perfect and the berry mixture was a balanced mix of sweet and tart. The pasta was less successful, with an uneven texture and finish. However, the service was top notch and the food presentation was thoughtful. This feels like a great place for happy hour or for drinks and appetizers.

Yelp
Happy Hour was fun fun fun! Not only was a time had, the company was even better! The bar was packed to capacity, but we were accommodated at the perfect time to share food and a great chat amongst newly made friends. The pinsa was light and fluffy, the oliva fritta was sooooo addictive (a MUST ORDER), and the Arancina was a buttery compliment to wash it all down. Lighting and vibes were top notch! Cosima will ALWAYS be a repeat drop-in/indulge moment!

Yelp
We were here for the restaurant week and picked this over another Italian restaurant and we did not go wrong. The place feels very cozy and has this really good Ambiance. We got the mama's meatballs, arancini, pasta, pork tenderloin, almond chocolate cake and tiramisu. Every plate was delicious and cooked to perfection. I would have liked the tenderloin to be slightly juicier, was well done. I think the overall vibe was worth the dining experience.

Yelp
Fun place to go for a Tuesday happy hour! Bar was totally open for us and just one other patron as we were leaving. We got some happy hour drinks which were reasonably priced for what they were (bourbon cocktail and a strong wine). We also each got an oven fired pizza to try with leftovers! The bar is immaculate with nice marble and decor. I've never eaten here but I'd recommend this for happy hour!

Yelp
Definitely one of the nicer fine dining restaurants in Baltimore. It had a rustic ambiance in the restaurant. I went for a large dinner party and the servers were all very attentive and accommodating. The pizza I got was crispy and cheesy, to my liking. There is garage parking available.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Cosima since two years ago during restaurant week. After I heard they had gluten free pasta and pizza options, I knew I had to make a point to return. The inside is still really beautiful with very industrial chic architecture. They still offer complimentary valet which was great since street parking is scarce and the steep winding driveway down to the restaurant would be difficult to walk down. I was able to get a dinner reservation for four the same day and we were seated downstairs immediately. The food was great from start to finish! I was really impressed with the complimentary bread service, including the gluten free options. We got the crispy brussels sprouts, burrata, and mussels to start. My favorite was the burrata which came with a lovely pesto sauce and blistered grape tomatoes. SO good. The mussels were also yummy and had a nice kick to the tomato and sausage based sauce. The brussels, while not a standout compared to other brussels I've had elsewhere, were still good although the aioli they came with wasn't super flavorful. We then got the mushroom pasta to share with gluten free noodles. The sauce was really creamy and delicious. However, we all agreed that everything could've used a pinch more salt, pepper, and cheese. Our waiter was kind enough to bring out some for us to we could adjust the dish to our preferences. The drinks were good too - I got the Noemi which was pretty much an aperol spritz. This is one of the drinks that's also available during happy hour pricing so I'll be back to enjoy that for sure. Overall, service was friendly and attentive and food was solid. Our bill for four, including apps, entrees, a round of drinks and a bottle of wine, was under $280. Not bad!

Thomas F.

Yelp
The new management is dreadful. The food is okay - except, maybe enough with the salmoriglio sauce. The desserts really shine - try any of them, they're all great - the bread too! The bar is nice to sit at, if you dont mind a lot of people constantly walking by you and lots of noise. The building is kind of neat - I remember it being abandoned for so long and it's great there's something in it - anything at all, instead of deteriorating like it was all those years . I'd have to say my experience with the new management was so poor, I'd rather eat a bologna sandwich in the old abandoned version of the building than return. I recommend you continue up Falls Road to one of the many close by dining establishments for dinner.

Yelp
A hidden gem ! The food is always fresh and flavorful while being reasonable priced for a business casual dining experience. Our waitress Brianna was phenomenal and attentive the entire night .

Yelp
A TRUE hidden gem! Took my Italian friend here and she said this was the most AUTHENTIC Italian food she's had in the entire DMV area since she moved to America from Italy! Cosima has the cutest and classiest environment. Their prices are SO affordable! Food and drinks are absolutely delicious! Their service is off the charts! We were so incredibly well pleased with our experience and even contemplated coming back the next night!

Yelp
I went to Cosima happy hour and i enjoyed it, even better when i am not paying, but that is neither here nor there lol. Cosima has been around for a long time, but have not been, I checked out their Happy hour, the prices well hmm now a days Happy Hour is not like what it used to be, but its iwhat it is. I stuck with the venticello drink, got like 4 of them, not particularly strong, but delicious. Ordered the flat bread, meatballs and shrimp.. All were good. Will check the out again .

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant. I am still dreaming about the whole Bronzino that I ordered. It is so good! My husband and I always start with the pizza of the day and holy wow it's always the best pizza I've ever had. Their pizzas are ALWAYS delicious. He always switches up his entrees, last time he got the brisket special. I have to stick w the fish because it's absolutely incredible. I read that their debuting a new menu (w more affordable options!!!) tmrw and can't wait to check it out. Please come check them out. They offer free valet!!

Yelp
This was delicious. The shrimp pizza was amazing and the pasta(gluten free) with clams was very tasty. But the star of the show was the chocolate lava cake. I couldn't stop exclaiming the lords name every time I ate a bite. Such enjoyment!

Yelp
Decided to take advantage of Baltimore Restaurant Week last minute. Called around and most places we were interested in were booked for the night. It was fate because Cosima had a table for three available at 7pm. I've been here a couple times before, but this was our first time sitting upstairs. The restaurant is super cool, with a pretty steep driveway leading to the entrance of the restaurant. The space was lively and the energy was great. The staff here were super friendly. Our waiter was extremely kind and we had great conversation bonding over our love for San Diego. The food here was superb. The branzino stole the show. This was not on the regular restaurant week menu ($45) but for an extra $10 you got the whole fish. It was well worth the extra money. We had a great time here and left feeling extremely satisfied. Thank you Cosima for an amazing night!

Yelp
Dinner at the bar last night and had great service! For apps - had the burrata, arancini and oysters. All 3 were good but the burrata was amazing and the clear star!!! Next we had a pizza and the shrimp cannelloni. Had to fight my boyfriend for the last bites of the cannelloni - we will definitely be back for it. Finished with the sfinci - yum!! Only heads up - finding it and parking is a bit tricky - and getting through the parking garage out is a tight squeeze with valet double parking the corners and exit ramps.

Yelp
Garlic bread is something that impressed everyone from our very big group. It is absolutely incredible

Yelp
It was graduation night so they seemed to be a little understaffed, but the food was great! The restaurant had a great vibe and the valet was free!

Mercedes V.

Yelp
I simply would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food: One of our guests asked the waiter if the mushrooms could be separated from the gnocchi plate. The waiter communicated that the plate only had mushroom powder, and that there would be no actual mushrooms in the dish. Because of this information, this dish was ordered and once it came out, the majority of the plate had mushrooms in the dish. The waiter did not seem to warn us about this. The branzino fish was not properly cooked, as it still had red blood within the fish once opened, had to be sent back to have it cooked more. Service: After we had paid for our bill, the waiter came over to communicate to us that she had actually given us the wrong check that we had already paid for. Parking: we parked our car through the free valet system. Once we got home, we realized that our car had had several things missing. I contacted the restaurant for weeks to get camera footage and after 3 weeks of persistent emails and calls, I got a very monotone email with very little sympathy or solution.

Yelp
I had been to Cosima a few years ago and I had been itching to come back given that I had such a nice experience. However, my more recent trip really missed the mark for me. We unwittingly came on the first day of restaurant week and were sad to see that there was no option to order off the regular menu. Understandable, but a little sad given we really wanted to try their pastas. We ended up ordering off the restaurant week menu and the food was fine. I got the burrata which was served alongside very anemic / pale looking tomatoes (expected given we were squarely outside of tomato season). I also got the salmon which felt really charred / burned on the outside. Perhaps good for others, but just not for me. The Tiramisu was unremarkable. Overall, the ambiance of this place is quite nice. We were seated downstairs which is definitely popping albeit a little cold depending on where you sit. Our server was ok, but somewhat ill-informed (e.g., first telling us we could make substitutions, then telling us we could not, and then coming back multiple times to tell us something was unavailable to order). I will chalk that up to it being the first day of restaurant week. I absolutely loved Cosima the first time we went a few years ago, so perhaps may go back and give it another chance. I definitely think it is a no-brainer to come here for a drink / app to enjoy the vibe. Proceed with caution otherwise!

Yelp
I've had this restaurant bookmarked for a while now and used our anniversary as an excuse to try it out. We took advantage of the complimentary valet and was seated a few minutes ahead of our reservation time. Our server, Will, was fantastic. He was very enthusiastic of every menu item we ordered, reassuring we made the right picks! We opted out of getting entrees and instead ordered a few small plates. We got the Fritto Misto, Pizza Semplice, gnocchi al forno, and polpette (meatballs). The Fritto Misto was lightly fried and came with a yummy spicy marinara. The gnocchi felt like we were eating fluffy potato pillows and the garlic cream sauce was *chefs kiss*. The meatballs were very tender and served with a homemade marinara sauce. Finally, the pizza. I love wood fired pizza and this pizza had the right amount of crisp and the sauce was very fresh. For dessert, we ordered the sfinci (Sicilian donuts) and torta al cioccolato (chocolate cake). The donuts were brought out in a brown bag and Will shook the bag prior to pouring the donuts in a basket. They were warm and perfectly coated with cinnamon sugar. The chocolate cake was rich but not in the way where it was too sweet to hurt your teeth. It was just sweet enough. Cannot wait to return in the spring in summer to try new dishes as their menu rotates often.

Yelp
The worst dining experience I had so far! They have a very unprofessional and rude waitress, she used to run into our table and take our plates away, without asking anything, despite there were still foods inside. She who spilled the leftover soup all over my coat at the first time she came and took plate back rudely, and she kept laughing all the time after spilled the soup. No serious apologize was received from her. When I was taking a break from my desserts, a large portion was still left in the plate. The same waitress just came and took my spoon and plate without asking anything. Then I told her I'm still working on it, but she just left ignoring me and took my stuff away and never came back with a new spoon.

Yelp
Cute place! Complimentary valet down a narrow driveway. I really enjoyed the place. The seafood did not taste the freshest to me but I'm Picky with seafood so I'm sure to someone else it would have tasted fine. I liked their drinks and the waitress was excellent. Would definitely come again. Very cute place.

Yelp
We came with a large group of eight on the first night of Baltimore restaurant week. Luckily, it was easy to get a reservation despite it being a Friday night. The ambience at this place is great, it's tucked down an alleyway and an old brick building that makes you feel like you're somewhere in Europe, not 10 minutes from downtown Baltimore. Since it was restaurant week, we all dined with a $45 fixed price three course menu. The menu looked fabulous, but the food didn't quite reflect what we thought we were getting. To start with, the bread we received was fantastic. Next, for appetizers, the Caprese salad looked a little underwhelming and like something I could've made at home. The vegetable soup was also extremely salty. The three people at our table who got the soup were unable to have more than a few sips of it because of how abnormally salty it was. For main course, we got a few different things, the best of which was probably the bavette steak and chicken. The chicken was especially moist, and the mashed potatoes were rustic. To finish, our dessert standouts included the flourless chocolate cake, which was topped with a delicious cappuccino cream, and a pistachio cake with the loveliest orange glaze on the side. Overall, this was a charming dinner experience that was fun for a large group. However, if the restaurant week menu and food quality is indicative of their normal offerings, then I would likely not be returning to pay the full price for the dishes we received.

Yelp
Very beautiful restaurant and overall nice staff, food, and experience. Yummy cocktails and delicious bread to start. Only tacking off points because I made a reservation ahead of time, and the host said our table wasn't ready. That understandably happens sometimes, but only for a couple minutes. We ended up waiting a half hour after our reservation time to be seated, and the entire time there were multiple tables open. This happened to other groups as well. A bit odd.

Yelp
We had a lovely time at Cosima. The valet was a nice touch, but when we went to leave the valet drivers were just missing and we had to go into the garage to get our cars ourselves. Not a big deal but a little weird. The atmosphere was delightfully rustic with exposed brick and minimal holiday decor. Classic and classy. We got the burrata appetizer which was amazing. We also tried to order the gnocchi Al porcini with a mushroom ragu, but they were out and so we substituted for another pasta alla Norma with eggplant ragu which was very fresh and tasted wonderful. They also apologized and gave us a free dessert as a sorry, which was appreciated. We would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a elegant dining experience. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos this time but will when we return.

Yelp
I love the location and the variety of dishes! I think the menu could use some updates since some items have been on there for a few years. Otherwise, great service and vibe.

Yelp
The restaurant is hidden down a small hill that I was convinced my truck would stuck on but the experience is worth it. The service was excellent and the food came out piping hot. I would definitely venture back to try different menu items.

Yelp
Everything I got was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. I did appreciate the gluten free pasta and bread options. My boyfriend's steak tasted so charred, which took away from any other flavor it could have offered so that was disappointing. Probably won't be back. Service was good and loved the affogato.

Yelp
Amazing! E-v-e-r-y-t-h-I-n-g was top notch! It was easy to make a reservation. We were seated immediately. Atmosphere is crisp and industrial, warm and clean. Caprese salad was fresh and every bite perfect. An extensive wine list and knowledge wait staff helped us select the perfect red. It was hard to select an entree- everything sounded good. We both chose NY strip steak- it was perfect. Cannoli and gelato for dessert. Then stopped for an old fashion for a night cap. Bartender was knowledge and super friendly. Chef and manager are hands on. Well run establishment

Yelp
Overall we had a great experience in a beautiful space but the food was a bit inconsistent. Made reservations through Resy for a Friday night for a group of 5. Our server, Mark, was informative and friendly. The menu was a QR code that comes up on your phone, which, for a nice restaurant, I really don't appreciate. I like to see the whole menu at once without scrolling up and down to review things. I'd recommend bringing back hard copy menus as a default or at least offering them to customers. We ordered cocktails which took a little bit of time but they were made with care and all were pretty good! I got the Citta Vuota, which was a sparkling gin cocktail. It was different and light, with herbal and sweet flavors. I would recommend it for my gin lovers! We got a bunch of appetizers for the table - the meatballs, the calamari, and the Brussels sprouts. All were good, I think the Brussels were the standout. The calamari actually came with fried shrimp which was nice but only 2 shrimp. For entrees, most people got the special which was a beef short rib. The main issue here is that the dishes were widely inconsistent. Some short ribs were very fatty and others very meaty. Needless to say, my friend who got he fattier one was a bit disappointed. That said they were still delicious and they came with a creamed butternut squash and smashed fried rosemary potatoes, which were great. I got the Pasta Primavera. It was ok, a little tasteless. I needed to add salt! I think the dish needed a bit of lemon juice and salt to add some flavoring. For a $30 pasta entree, I was disappointed. The biggest disappointment were the cannolis for dessert - for an Italian restaurant, these were not good. Cannolis are my absolute favorite dessert, so this was tough for me! Filling was pretty much like whipped cream, way too light and fluffy. Despite some food quality issues, we had a great time, the cocktails were tasty and some of the food was good. For the price point, I'm not running back but at some point I'd give it another shot.

Yelp
We went to Cosima for Baltimore restaurant week which had a prix fixe meal of 3 courses for 45 per person. We sat in their balcony/patio area and it was a very pleasant summer night to be dining outdoors. For apps we both got the chilled honey melon soup which had a bit of a kick from some Calabrian chilli oil or something. It was very refreshing. I was very happy with my entree of salmon atop a bed of chickpeas with tomatoes, olives and onions. But my boyfriend was very disappointed with his pasta pomodoro. The bucatini was definitely overcooked, almost mushy and the pomodoro sauce wasn't seasoned well. I tried it for myself and I agreed, it was a let down for an entree course. The dessert was a lovely Panna cotta which we both enjoyed especially with the berry sauce. Service was 11/10. All in all I would recommend Cosima but I hope in the future they make sure that they aren't overcooking their pasta and working a bit harder on their seasoning for the pomodoro.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to Cosima becoming a new date night spot with the beautiful outdoor views and seating but unfortunately had a bad experience. This was my second time coming to Cosima, the first being for a graduation dinner which was ok/not memorable. There is complimentary valet and we got drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. Drinks were good and we sat outside by the water but didn't have a view of it- we came for restaurant week which is $45pp plus automatic 20% gratuity for 3 courses. They do not offer their regular menu during restaurant week. I ordered the burrata which was an additional $5 for some reason... The appetizers took about an hour to come out and out food came out 5 minutes later due to weird timing of the kitchen. The burrata was good, can't really mess that one up. My partner got the meatballs which came out on a "hot" skillet that was actually cold and the meatballs were underwhelming and dry. We were pretty hungry so we continued on. For entrees we got the salmon and couscous, we ended up sending the salmon back for lack of flavor, when we told the waitress she said "i know, it needs salt" and we noticed people around us also sending their food back. Even the green sauce didn't taste like anything. The couscous was good, because we were hungry but overall would never spend over $100 for such a disappointing meal. The seafood didn't taste fresh and the sauce felt out of a jar. We asked for our dessert to go and they took $20 off the bill. The waitress was great, attentive, but the kitchen was upsetting. A manager did come out and ask us about our meal. Unfortunately I will not be coming back.

Yelp
We came for dinner a few days ago. A little difficult to find the restaurant, but once you do it has such a nice rustic charm to it inside and outside. The service was great and the wine list was solid too. There is complimentary valet parking and a lot up the hill from the restaurant. We as a group sampled the calamari, roasted Brussels, and burrata with pesto. The burrata was our favorite! So soft and flavorful and the pesto was fresh. The calamari was a little softer and chewier than what we prefer usually. For dinner, my husband and I split the casarecce pasta and the margarita pizza. That particular pasta was was light / not heavy and the sausage and broccoli rabe were cooked well. Several friends in our group got the pasta and loved it. One friend got the pork dish which seemed quite size-able. The pizza was also a nice accompaniment for the dish and was a personal pie size. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! Definitely a cute spot and worth the little maze it takes to get here. Parking: First things first, finding this spot is a little difficult however, there is parking available in a garage on the site! You would miss the little pathway to come down if you blink. Keep an eye out for a sign with an arrow on the corner of the building. Drive slowly. Staff: friendly and accommodating! Very nice team of folks working here. I haven't been disappointed with the service. Bartender was very attentive and wait staff (Billy) was friendly. General Manager's hair is FABULOUS; They are fun and enjoyable. Food: I have only tried the small plates but they were very good. Meatballs (needed a little salt) and the Gnocchi (delicious)! Drinks: YES! Tried several ... perfection. The cosmos are awesome! COVID Precautions: Wait staff wears gloves, all staff wears masks, temp is checked, and contact tracing is done upon arrival. Service was fairly quick. I sat at the bar and had a reservation before and service at the table was great. Overal, location is hard to find(ish) - venue worth it. Love the ambiance.

Yelp
Went to Cosima spur of the moment on a Friday night. Place was packed and bubbling with people! Our server was very kind and made several lovely recommendations. We had the burrata with extra crostini for sharing, mussels, and meatballs. We tried the pasta alla Norma and loved the flavors but would have liked more pasta as the portion was skimpy. Loved the pistachio ice cream (made in house!) and got the donuts. At the end we waited for our complimentary valet in front of their toasty bonfire! It was a perfect night!
