I stumbled upon this place since I was planning on going to Yestercades across the street with my brother and my daughter. I was able to find street parking and it was free since it was past 6pm. The restaurant is so beautiful and they had outside seating. We chose to sit inside. The lady who greeted us when we walked in and sat us at our table was very friendly. Our server (I think his name was Dave or something similar) was polite and professional. He brought us some water and warm bread. We ordered the lasagna, baked ziti and pasta Alfredo with chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious and filling. We unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert. Our server was kind enough to pack our food in to-go containers for us and it was absolutely delicious the following day. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.

Best Fettuccine Alfredo I’ve ever had (not shown in the photos) Food was a 10/10 overall!!! The service was great & the staff were very welcoming and kind. Definitely coming back again.

The food is amazing! We went there for a b day party (15 people). The older women (maybe the owner) wasn't that friendly. She was annoyed we ordered food for the kids first. Our regular server was amazing. Glasses always filled and was very attentive. Steakhouse quality. The pizza was great, chicken wings, chicken parm, and the chipotle chicken sandwich. Highly recommended!!

Stepping into Cosimo's on Board Street in Westfield was a great choice. The food was absolutely delicious, starting with the warm, crusty bread and butter—I could have made a meal out of that alone! For our mains, we ordered the penne rose pasta and the eggplant rollatini. The penne sauce was incredibly decadent and rich, and the rollatini was also very good. While the restaurant offers plenty of seating, be prepared for a bit of a parking challenge. Overall, a fantastic meal in a great location.

Google
The food is amazing and excels in a town with many options to choose from. The crispy calamari is well seasoned and the perfect appetizer to have. The focaccia sandwich is, by far, the best value you can get with a decently sized sandwich and high quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the interior is tired and dated with a lot of the furniture being very worn out. The service did not match the quality of the food with our waiter being non-existent for long periods of time after we ordered. We sat at the very end of the restaurant and had to flag down a busboy to get help. As bad as it may be, it didn’t detract from how immaculate the food was.

Google
Excellent food, large portions and attentive waiting staff! I just wish they would play better dinner music. It would really transform the atmosphere.

Google
PROs- 5 star location, food, service , price CONs- parking ! I rarely give a 5 star and this one deserves it . Went for a bday eve and it was really good . Location is good . Lots of other restaurants nearby. Parking is a bit crazy . We had to park a couple of blocks away and take a 5-7 min walk. Parking is generally free after 6 pm . Even if not it’s too expensive. About 50 cents for 30 mins . Service was good . They give bread and butter to start with and it was fresh . My kids had pasta .. 🍝 really awesome ! We also tried pizza 🍕 and it was tasty. Lots of veggie options . I had Panzenalla salad . 🥗 very fresh and nice proteins .. five cheese ziti was super good . Mozzy garlic bread was so good . To end it tiramisu .. I actually didn’t like it much . It was ok. It was still a very good experience.. kudos to the whole team .

Yelp
Cosimo's does not disappoint! The first time I went they had a special called the Burrata Bomb and it was so amazing, like an upscale chicken cordon bleu without the chicken. Burrata, wrapped in prosciutto and fried... simply amazing! I wish it was a menu item. My most recent visit was with two friends from out of state. The pressure is on when people know Jersey has some of the best Italian spots so I was sweating a bit, but felt pretty confident. We all loved our meals and left very full and very happy. I had a special which was chicken, sausage, peppers and onions in an arrabbiata sauce- perfection. Friend 1 had chicken Milanese that had salad on top- so refreshing and delicious and friend 2 had Penne Rose; penne in a pink sauce with sausage and broccoli rabe- comforting and yummy. We also go the fried calamari which was super crisp while also being kind of light and airy. Our waitress Alicia was fantastic. She said she'd been on a leave for 2 months and was getting back into the swing of things but we felt she did a phenomenal job. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Westfield has so many amazing options and this one is not to be missed!!

Yelp
Every dish is delicious. Appetizers and entrees alike. Big open space that can accommodate large groups. Signature chicken parm is a spin on the classic but with vodka sauce.

Sylvia M.

Yelp
When to a baby shower. Yesterday the food was very good. And the servers were very pleasant.

Yelp
Good thing we went early for dinner on Saturday night. Got very busy around 7. Service was great! Food was very good and nice size portion. It's a BYOB
google avatar

Yelp
I hadn't been to Cosimo's since I was in high school. It has remained great. Incredible personal sized pizzas.

Yelp
Solid birthday dinner for a friend - we were a party of 15 and the service was very nice and they did their best! Restaurant was pretty packed on a Saturday night, which was nice to see! They have a pretty extensive menu- people ordered calamari, pizza, chicken parm, pastas and salads. I tried the caesar salad, Chicken Francaise and the Shrimp and Broccoli. Both were okay- the side of mashed potatoes were no good? Idk why. It had a burnt/plastic taste. Overall food was okay and the ambience and service was nice!
google avatar

Suzanne M.

Yelp
First time trying this establishment I recommend going early on a Friday or Saturday night because it does get super packed around 7 PM. We all enjoyed our dinners. The portions are a nice size as well. Our waiter was a hoot. We even gave him one of our cannolis, we were there celebrating a birthday. I have some pictures of the food everything tasted fresh and delicious your dinners come with a pasta or a salad.

Yelp
Our first time in Westfield to meet up with people at Yestercades and decided to stop into this restaurant. It wa a cozy establishment that was dim lit with a welcoming atmosphere. Now I am very observant of cleanliness in a place and I have to say, I was thorough impressed that with all the chandeliers and fixtures on the ceiling...everything was dusted! No three inches of dust or hanging bunnies which is more common than you think. Anyway, we ordered two pizzas, a plain cheese and one with garlic and onion. Both were pretty good. I enjoyed the sauce as it was something on the sweeter side. The pasta Fagoli soup we order was average. The cappuccino was pretty yummy, I did enjoy that ending to the meal. The service was bare minimum. Our plates never got cleared and only as things came out, there were kind of Tetris-styled around everything. We had to constantly request refills and the check took about 35 minutes after we asked for it.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Made reservations for a party of 6 food was good bread was amazing. This is a BYOB and if you come after 6 parking is free. Parking can be hard to find on the street but there is a parking lot near Trader Joe's. The only thing I can say bad about this place is the wait staff seemed to be on vacation. It was hard to get someone's attention for anything. Cute place and ambiance is nice.

Chris R.

Yelp
excellent service, and beautiful scenery in the restaurant. Best pizza I ever had and Cosimo's also introduced me to the best mozzarella sticks ever
google avatar

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
Went last night with a friend on a very spontaneous night out. BYOB so we brought our own bottle of wine. We were instantly sat and our waiter was very nice. I found it strange we weren't given water right away. We were given bread but with 2 tiny butter packs. I ordered the jumbo shrimp scampi over linguine and my friend ordered a salmon pasta dish over penne. Was flavorful and i understand pasta should be cooked "al dents" but my linguine was VERY chewy. Nice atmosphere but I wasn't sold. Would try again.
google avatar

Kristen A.

Yelp
Cosimo's never disappoints, I always enjoy the Italian cuisine here. The penne vodka is a favorite of mine.

Susan S.

Yelp
Our favorite Italian restaurant in the area! We've loved it forever! Food is delicious, staff is nice, delivery is great. Some favorite dishes- grandma pizza, chicken mozzarella panini, balsamic chicken, panzanella salad, chicken Milanese.
google avatar

INDIA O.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening. Our Waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Antipasto, which was generous but basic. We also ordered a Pizza, the pizza wasn't crunchy and way too doughy, not my fave. I really wasn't WOWED by this place. I don't think I'll be returning.
google avatar

Rebecca S.

Yelp
One of my all time favorite Italian restaurants. I've been going to Cosimo's for over 20 years- fantastic food, fantastic service. Lovely ambiance as well. The pasta fagiole is better than any other I've had! Some other favorites are the bolognese, the cheese ravioli, the grandma pizza, and the chicken Milanese. Their honey balsamic dressing? I could bathe in it. And I have. Just kidding. Maybe.
google avatar

Osvaldo M.

Yelp
It took forever for food to come out, then it was tasteless I ask for a fra Diablo pasta, it was dry and not good at all. First time there and last one

Michele L.

Yelp
I really wanted to at least like this place, as we've tried most of the other Italian restaurants in Westfield. Both the chicken francese and chicken piccata were extremely salty! I've never had such salty food. The others who dined with us had chicken tango and shrimp with broccoli and garlic. Neither said their food was good. I'm afraid no one wanted to mention how the food was barely edible and spoil the evening. The service was great and place wasn't busy on a Wednesday evening. We chatted for about 45 min after eating and no one rushed us out. We didn't get coffee or dessert. Usually I scrape every bit of sauce in the leftover container to take home but left all the sauce on the plate. Not looking toward to eating the leftovers.

Albert D.

Yelp
Service was very slow. Took 35 minutes to receive an Italian foccacia sandwich and a personal pizza. Every table around us was served before we were and there were only two of us while the others had four and five people each. Menu said the sandwich had salami, cheese and ham. It had 2 Slices of salami, 2 slices of cheese and NO ham and over stuffed with shredded lettuce. Maybe they thought I ordered a lettuce sandwich. Lol Cost was $12.95. Shame on Cosimo's. I will never go back there again nor do I recommend anyone else from doing so

Bruce W.

Yelp
Food very good. The standout was that the Signature Parmigiana. It was incredible. Can get chicken or veal - I went with chicken. Panco encrusted with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella. Staff nice. Will be going back.

Yelp
Cosimo's is a favorite spot among my friends and family for a nice dinner out or a casual pizza night. The inside of the restaurant is fairly large so it's a good spot for groups, and they also have outdoor seating on East Broad Street which is great for people-watching. It's BYOB, which is always a plus! The prices are higher than other Italian restaurants in the area, but consistent with Westfield prices. We regularly get the Margherita Pizza or Grandma's Pizza (usually with extra cheese) and both are really good. You can't go wrong with their Chicken Parm, and all the entrees are large and come with pasta and a salad or vegetable. For dessert, I love their cannolis! They usually have a lot of interesting appetizers and entrees on their specials list, so we often mix it up depending on what sounds good, and sometimes it can be hit or miss. On a recent visit, my parents got different seafood specials with scallops, and while my Mom's dish was out of this world, my Dad's dinner was disappointing. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful, so they can usually steer you in the right direction if you have questions about any of the specials.

Yelp
We have had really good experiences here and the latest was no exception. We arrived for a late lunch and were allowed to choose our seats as it wasn't too busy. Our server was Samantha and she was attentive and friendly. Our busser, we didn't catch his name, was also good. We came in for pizza and salad. We selected our choices from their personal pizzas. One was pick your own toppings, one was chicken parm and the other standard cheese ($10.95). They were all delicious. The pizzas have Cosimo's signature sauce and are served piping hot! We also orders sides of meatballs ($3 each) because they are so flavorful and full of homemade goodness. Our salads were the House Garden salad with red onion, grape tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber. Everything was tasty and enjoyed. Perfect spot for a satisfying lunch

Yelp
I was referred here by a friend and she pretty much raved about everything but mainly the salad. So being that her and I share a love of good food her recommendations always leave me in want and ready to run but covid etc. Today I had an appointment about 15 minutes out from them and knew I'd be hungry lol so I planned on having this amazing salad for lunch. I asked my friend all the specifics on how and what to order and it was simple, Cesar Salad with Grilled Salmon. Ok cool! She advised I could get extra salmon as she had done a time or 2. I decided I would ask for extra dressing and croutons & garlic bread.... placed order, picked up. I was greeted by a tall guy with gorgeous eyes and killer smile..he was super accommodating and made sure I was super good before I left with all I needed. I got home and ate... CAN YOU SAY AMAZING & ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST CESAR SALAD I EVER HAD & the Salmon cooked to PERFECTION!! The Cesar Dressing....OFFICAL! & The croutons..seasoned and I think it's real bread......Oooooo Tasty little Treat it was!!! Thank You Cosimo's I'llllll BE BAACK!!!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
The food is excellent here! I had the Panzanella Salad with blackened salmon. My hubs had the chicken parm and we both had the penne with & without sauce, all delish!
google avatar

Lee G.

Yelp
I've come here atleast 6x & I love it ! It's a byob , there's outdoor seating , the service is always good , and most importantly their food is great . The pizza , Italian hummus (if you're trying to be on the lighter side. It's a pretty decent portion too) but my favorite is their teriyaki salmon . I've really picky with my salmon , but there's is cooked perfectly ! It comes with sweet potato mash and grilled pineapple , it's amazing ! Would def recommend coming here with the family/friends
google avatar

Korrey H.

Yelp
I have been here twice, they have bread before the meals come out. It is a little pricey but they have gluten free pasta option. The shrimp and marinara was delicious!
google avatar

Camille M.

Yelp
Really enjoy dinner at Cosimo's! Love that why are BYOB so we brought a bottle of wine with us. Started with the chopped antipasto salad which was so good and I'll definitely be going back for. For my entree the chicken francese had a delicious lemon sauce and large portion.

Ann Marie F.

Yelp
My husband and our family decided to go to Cosimo's because we had been wanting to try it for some time. Seemed like there were always people there. What a travesty!!! My husband got food poisoning as verified by urgent care that last a few days. He had the ink pasta, ocean dish with calamari, clams and mussels. It must have been the fish was held to long. He was the only one to have a dish with those fish.It could have been devastating for my husband who s also receiving treatments. Hope he doesn't get hepatitis A from bad fish!! My dish was chicken with lemon sauce and all I tasted was chicken broth. Save your money from bad food and go elsewhere!!

Pat G.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place and raved about it. I was not impressed. Food was mediocre. They either have a problem with their grease trap, or something is wrong with the sewer line, or both. There was an aroma when walking to the kitchen and a different one in the bathroom. My sister in law kept saying she smelt rotten eggs from where we were sitting in the back. We asked to move tables.

Gerry C.

Yelp
Just had a takeout order of veal parm, chicken Murphy, side of broc. rabe/garlic and sausage.....ALL was EXCELLENT!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
First Valentines Date was ruined. My daughter just ran by me straight to the bathroom. She has celiac and somehow ate gluten even though she ordered Gluten Free Penne Vodka. I called to see if maybe the vodka sauce wasn't GF but they said it was and then I proceeded to say, "Well she ate gluten somehow" they put me on hold and came back to say that the Order said GF, the ticket said GF, they checked with the kitchen and the waiter and all said it was GF. She only gets this was when she eats gluten - she even double checked when the dish came to the table that it was GF. They said they are VERY cautious when it comes to food allergies..I asked if maybe the kitchen picked the wrong container but they wouldn't even fathom that it was a possibility. They even had the gall to ask me if she may had eaten some of the bread!! Not even an offer of reimbursement or gift card - Nothing. You'd think since a special dinner was ruined they'd offer something. A few minutes later I realized that this happened a few years ago as well. Back then I got the same BS - Guess they never make mistakes.
google avatar

Leyla K.

Yelp
Honestly this restaurant was just alright. My boyfriend and I sat outside for dinner and the setup was beautiful and the service was great. However the food was average at best. You would think with all the competition in Westfield that restaurants would step their game up! I ordered the eggplant parm and it was mediocre. The cutlets weren't crispy, the batter was soggy, and the eggplant itself didn't taste fresh at all. My boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which he said was good. The only thing was the crust was very dry. Overall I don't think I would come back, but if you're in the area maybe see for yourself.

Kerry M.

Yelp
NOT SAFE FOR GLUTEN-FREE I have enjoyed this restaurant many times. I was happy to find them on a gluten-free dining app when my son was looking for a place to take his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. They went last night, and she ordered gluten free penne vodka, and asked several times to ensure she was getting a gluten-free meal, however shortly after they got home, she was ill. I am not a fan of bashing restaurants- but they did not get it right. If they are going to offer gluten-free options, they need to train staff, setup separate cooking stations, color code plates, use and plate markers something to ensure this does not happen again. A call was made to the Restaurant and response was lacking. They said that the ticket said Gluten-free, so it was. If you do not have food Allergies- then it's a great place. I hope they take this review seriously and make changes and educate their staff. If you are looking for a Restaurant with gluten-free options I would recommend Houdini pizza in Fanwood- they have always gotten it right and regret they did not go there. Will be going there for the Valentine's dinner go over.

Yelp
I came to Cosimo's with a bunch of my girlfriends last night and we had a great time. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and romantic. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We never felt rushed or abandoned. They have a byob policy which i love since buying wine in restaurants can easily double the bill. Anyway on to the food. I ordered the tre color salad with grilled salmon on top. Everything is the salad was crisp and fresh. The grated parm added a nice salty element in between the acidic balsamic dressing. The salmon was grilled perfectly, i like a little char on my salmon. The outside in some spots had a good crunch but it wasnt dry at all. Everything else at the table looked great! I will definitely be back. They are very accomodating for large groups.

Janet G.

Yelp
AMAZING, delicious, accommodating, great experience!!! Cosimo's was an excellent find, homemade dishes, fun staff(shoutout to Sue) thanks for making our rehearsal dinner a memorable experience!!!

Amy M.

Yelp

Susan R.

Yelp
Today I had a baby shower for my daughter. Angela was wonderful and accommodating. All of our requests were met. The food and staff were amazing!

Lynda K.

Yelp
we had my grandsons first holy communion dinner at Cosimos's. The food and service was outstanding. Everyone had a great time and left happy and full. I would definitely recommend Cosimo's for everyone.

Yelp
Lovely night on a double date! We were seated by the fireplace so it was a great ambiance and cozy feel! We ordered wine, pizza, and three pasta dishes. Service was great, our waitress was such a delight and super attentive! Bread and olive oil was a great starter, bread was served super warm so that was excellent! The wine that they offered was a Cabernet distributed from Lodi and it was delish! For dinner, we ordered a few items, sausage pizza, rigatoni bolognese, spaghetti bolognese, and I personally ordered chicken oreganta. My oreganta was amazinggggggggg, I'm a huge fan of lemon flavoring so this was phenomenal - if I come back again, this is what I'm ordering again and again! Overall, great time, great service, great food and ambiance!
google avatar

Jeff Z.

Yelp
We have been eating here for many years. The pizza and the other entree's are great, but my hands down favorite is there wine poached pear salad! The pears are cooked perfectly and they pack the middle of the pear with blue cheese then broil them!! The cheese is gooey and delicious. The dressing it comes with is not too strong and very tasty! We also got the tortellini soup with a delicious broth and escarole and bean soup. My wife got the grilled chicken with spinach and it was cooked perfectly keeping it moist and the spinach was seasoned perfectly. I really love the fireplace in the middle making it a cozy place to sit and enjoy the meal!!

Theresa Y.

Yelp
We ordered lasagna and eggplant lasagna. The lasagna was just ok. The eggplant lasagna was just too salty. Only the eggplant lasagna came with a small salad and both came with bread.

Yelp
I was very worried going in based on the Yelp reviews I read beforehand. On the other hand, I knew several people who had been here before and liked the place. I am pleased to say I to liked, although not loved, the place. Let's call it a lukewarm 4. In order: The basket of bread was not particularly fresh but I ate it anyway. My Panzanella Salad while very tasty was nothing like the Panzanellas I have had elsewhere where it is dominated by tomatoes and bread. Their version was a chopped salad over a crust of bread. It was good but not the salad I was looking for. At a menu price of $12, it appears to be high but can easily be shared by 2 people. We ordered the Honey BBQ Chipotle Calamari for the table and that was excellent albeit a very small portion. For my main course, I had Black Ocean which is black linguini surrounded by seafood. The portion was extremely large and tasty. However, it was not evenly heated throughout as the pasta part was hot, but the seafood was lukewarm Two members of our party had the tilapia special and said it was excellent. The dish was supposed to be served over polenta but they told us they were out of polenta. Kind of strange since the dish was a special and it was only 8PM on a Saturday night. Our 4th member had the chicken saltimboca and enjoyed it. Service was fine. Overall the place is somewhere between a 3 and a 4. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt because I felt it far surpassed its posted ratings. And yes, I would go back.
google avatar

Marc G.

Yelp
We had a takeout order of chicken parmigiana, eggplant rollatini, linguine in clam sauce, salad and garlic bread. Everything was delicious. I particularly liked their vinaigrette dressing, the garlic bread and the linguini. I'm sure that whatever you order will be delicious.

Snacks ..

Yelp
Staff was great and food was even better! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. Gave us really great suggestions. Service was as close to perfect as you can get! Everything we ordered was great and we ordered a lot! Apps: garlic bread with mozzarella and fried calamari. Both really good. We ordered a pizza for the table. When the pizza came out it looked prefect and tasted even better. Dinners: Chicken parm, Chicken oreganata, Chicken tango and stuffed chicken. All excellent. Sauces on these dishes were all fantastic. Wish I wasnt stuffed I could dip bread in these sauces all night. Dinners all came with pasta side. Vodka sauce was incredible and I heard the garlic and oil was fantastic. Couldn't be any happier with this place and our meal. Not too expensive, excellent service and good size portions. We all went home with food. Highly recommend. Easiest 5 stars I have given on here!

Yelp
Very surprised at the 2 star rating...just don't get it at all actually. The decor is great...moderate, clean, comfortable and inviting. The service is good....nothing special but nothing to complain about. The food is very good. The chicken & veal parm is their specialty.....and it's wonderful. Also, we've had the Chicken Francaise which is fantastic.....tasty, fresh, tender. One of my very favorite things is their roasted pear salad...amazing flavors and completely unique. Prices seem just right.... Again, I don't get the awful reviews at all.

Anita D.

Yelp
Was shopping in Westfield and just stopped in for dinner. Excellent food and great service. Calamari and chicken were excellent. Very fresh ingredients. The calamari was fresh and very light and the chicken saltimbocca was very good. BYOB but some wine is available. Service was attentive and very friendly. Would definitely recommend Cosimo's and will be back!

Yelp
First let me preface by saying I've been coming to Cosimo's for many, many years. I remember the original Cosimo's which was small and had worn booths and chairs. The food used to be outstanding! I decided to return to Cosimo's . I'm so sorry I did. My daughter and I came for a late lunch . We were seated right away which was good but we waited over 20 minutes to be acknowledged by a waiter. No water was ever served to us. It wouldn't be so bad if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't. Lots of empty tables. The staff is too busy standing around talking.( see pictures.) Finally after asking a waiter for some service a girl by the name of Rachel came over. She was very nice. She asked if anyone helped us I told her NO! She took our drink order and we waited awhile to get our drinks. I told her we were ready to order. I placed our order which was lobster bisque soup, house salad, and a large eggplant and onion pizza. Again, we waited awhile for our food. I noticed a lot of the staff was standing around talking instead of paying attention to the customers. My daughter who orders out lobster bisque at many restaurants said her soup tasted like tomato soup. She didn't like it. My house salad was good, no complaints. Our pizza finally arrived. At first I thought it looked good but once we both tasted it the pizza had absolutely no flavor. The eggplant was greasy. We thought they would have breaded and fried it like other pizza places do which makes it crispy. There was no taste of any spices what so ever. It tasted very flat and nondescript . I was very surprised b/c Cosimo's was always known for delicious pizza and chicken, cutlet Parm sandwiches. I don't know if it's the same owner or what. Our waitress asked us if everything was ok. I told her I am a gourmet cook and make my own pizza from scratch dough and all but this pizza needed spices like garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and grated cheese. I don't think they taste their own food b/f sending it out! Everyone knows eggplant is a sponge and if it isn't salted first then it will absorb tons of oil unless it is breaded and fried.Eggplant also needs major seasoning to have great flavor! Rachel apologized to her credit, and said she was sorry. After a few minutes of deciding that we couldn't eat this pizza without grated cheese and garlic powder I asked another waiter if he could get us some. He said yes and walked away. 15 minutes passed no garlic powder or grated cheese appeared.( a lot of the staff speak broken English I think he might not of understood me.) I then flagged down another waiter who did bring us what we asked for. It helped a little My daughter only ate one piece and then added garlic powder and grated cheese to 2nd piece. After taking a bite she put the pizza down and said I'm done this is gross.she said 'I don't ever want to come back here.' I did pack up the pizza b/c once home I was hoping to salvage it. Not sure if I can. I showed the Yelp coupon to my waitress. She was not familiar with it and said she had to check on it. Eventually Rachel came back with my bill and the discount was on it. I think the staff needs better training. I watched as some people came in and asked to sit at a certain table b/c they were a group. They were told NO they couldn't sit there. No smiles on any of the staff especially the older hostess. She looked very stressed! The place itself is decorated very nice, the two sided fireplace was a nice touch. The place looks great inside after the remodeling. Maybe with better training and major adjustments on the pizza this place can once again be good. For now I don't recommend it!

Yelp
Not bad, not great. The pizza here is decently sized, about the same price as other pies in the area. Their crust isn't really thin crust, but it's not pan, it's somewhere in the middle. Two people sharing 6 slices is a lot already on a large, but the pizza gets soggy as you eat it. Had a large mushroom & sausage. Service is decent, though.

Yelp
Something special happened at Cosimo's... my family hosted my baby shower at the restaurant. It was spectacular! The FOOD was DYNAMITE, as well as the service and ambiance. It was great! What made this an an extra special day was that management helped me to surprise my family and have a pop-up wedding! My secret was kept safe and it was a complete hit and total surprise. Thank you Angela and the Cosimo crew for helping to pull it off. The afternoon was filled with an energy and love that was undeniable. It was simply perfect. I would suggest Cosimo's for their outstanding food as well as a really nice space for any party. The location works very well for any groups traveling in from NYC. Yes, I have eaten here on a few occasions and the chicken is very very good... but any restaurant that can pull off a good brocolli rabe gets an A+ from me!!
