"If you’d rather stay down in the canyon, another solid option is to pay a visit to Cosmopolitan, whose chef-owner Chad Scothorn has been at it for 26-plus years. An unforgettable roasted half chicken shows up with crispy skin overlaying succulent meat."

Great spot right next to the gondola in town. Our waiter was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Cocktails were good! Highly recommend the duck

Scallops as an appetizer were phenomenal. Steak cooked great really amazing salmon and a delicious warm vanilla bundt cake.

The Cosmopolitan has been around for as long as I think I have been visiting Telluride. This is what I would consider a "high-end" restaurant...meaning it is not inexpensive. However, I feel they deliver on those prices. I have been visiting Telluride for about 23 years, and we almost always maje sure to have dinner here. We also had our rehearsal dinner in their event cellar, as well as a New Years Eve tasting in the same cellar. Recently we went for our anniversary and split the Volcano roll (excellent) abd bot ordered the Colorado lamb rack which was amazing. Sommelier and server were fantastic! Will as always visit here.

Excellent and friendly service from this very busy restaurant and staff. Miriam, at the bar, was top notch. This place is popular and you should make a reservation but if not, their outdoor desk is standby as is there small bar inside. The bread is amazing. The Tuna smoked in the plate was very unique and delicious ! The chopped salad was also incredible. Check them out, You’ll be happy you did!

Fantastic! Make sure you try the flatliner (espresso martini)!

Overall a great first experience at Cosmo. They have a bar and fine dining area, but neither were stuffy. Great service and the food was excellent. I had the surf and turf and my dad had the halibut.

We had a fabulous, early dinner last Friday before the TAB event. Absolutely loved the the plant-based Thai dish. I want that recipe!!!

Google
Our best dinner at telluride so far. Service was excellent. We loved the eclectic menu. Even the bread was exceptional. Tried the calamari and volcano roll as appetizers. Then the duck, surf and turf, filet, and salmon. All were excellent, and the picky eaters cleaned their plates.

Yelp
A warm welcome, fresh house made bread, homemade Blueberry pie and an inventive, incredibly tasty menu. DO NOT MISS the homemade Blueberry Pie with Sour cream Ice Cream (yeah, I'm starting with the dessert -- it was THAT good). And carbs be damned -- get that bread. It doesn't matter if you get it with the oil or butter - both are equally delicious. The Thai Coconut Stew is not only one of the prettiest, most colorful dishes I've seen, but the flavors and textures were NEXT LEVEL. The crispy rice and crispy yams and radishes sitting in a warm, intensely flavorful broth with broccolini and mushrooms... it was a PERFECT dish. 10/10 The white bean soup was also perfection -- it comes with a duck garnish which I did not get because I don't eat meat. 10/10 Another late afternoon our group of four co-workers sat down and devoured their sushi menu. I live a few minutes from an area in my home city called Sushi Row, known for some of the best sushi around so I'm pretty picky. Cosmopolitan did not disappoint -- the sushi was creative (the Salmon Tataki comes to the table with a glass cover and when they remove it, the most delicious, fragrant aroma wafts across the table from whatever light smoke magic they did to that Salmon -- really nice flavor. We also had a couple of other really nice rolls and the Peruvian Ceviche which has a coconut broth of some kind with red snapper. So all that great food came with some awesome service from the hostess to the manager to the bartenders and the servers -- so warm, friendly, and knowledgable about their menu. Very conveniently located right near the gondola. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This stylish restaurant sits right at the foot of the gondola in Telluride. They started with house-made bread, and it was excellent, served with a very fresh California olive oil. If the bread is good, you can bet everything else will be too, and it was. For an appetizer, two of us shared the fried calamari & shrimp that had been tossed in a slightly sweet and minimally picante sauce. (That's "pepper hot" in Spanish for you easterners who rarely come where the Hispanics dwell.). I had the warm beet salad and can recommend it if you like beets.

Yelp
Fantastic customer service from Mathew. Food was beyond expectations Will definitely visit every year with annual ski trip

Garrett P.

Yelp
Amazing Pork Chop - perfectly seared, juicy and savory Mongolian sauce. The chopped salad had a fun take as well mixing all the ingredientes on table. Overall great staff, will definitely come back

Mike S.

Yelp
A note that management did write back with an apology and willingness to make things right on another visit. Much appreciated!

Yelp
Fabulous meal. Excellent service by all of the staff. Great bread, loved the smoked duck breast entree, and the new dessert (almond dacquoise) was outstanding. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Yelp
Title: A Culinary Delight at Cosmopolitan - A Hidden Gem at the Base of Telluride Ski Mountain Rating: Nestled at the base of Telluride Ski Mountain, Cosmopolitan, the signature restaurant of Hotel Columbia, proved to be a culinary gem during our business planning trip. From start to finish, our dining experience at this establishment was nothing short of exceptional. The $19 bar steak entrée, available all evening at the bar, was well worth the wait. Cooked to perfection, the steak was a delight for the taste buds. The standout, however, was the Brussels sprouts and mushroom combo that accompanied the steak-- an outstanding combination of flavors that elevated the dish to new heights. The Lobster Corn Dog was a unique and memorable dish. The lobster and shrimp sausage, coated in cornmeal tempura, served with remoulade, was a culinary masterpiece. So delightful was this creation that I couldn't resist ordering some to go, ensuring I could savor the flavors once more. The Crispy Shrimp & Calamari, with crispy lemons, limes, and a sweet & spicy sauce, were everything their description promised and more. Each bite was a burst of flavors, leaving us with the perfect combination of crispy textures and tasty goodness. To round off our evening, a couple of Classic Cosmos and a Black Manhattan proved to be a perfect ending. The expertly crafted cocktails complemented the meal beautifully, adding an extra layer of sophistication to an already exquisite dining experience. The ambiance at Cosmopolitan was inviting, and the attentive service only enhanced our overall enjoyment. The stunning location at the base of Telluride Ski Mountain, coupled with the culinary expertise showcased in each dish, makes Cosmopolitan a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Telluride. Our evening at Cosmopolitan reached new heights, thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by G, the star behind the bar. Seated in the heart of the action, G's politeness and insightful service transformed our dining experience into something truly extraordinary. G's attention to detail and warm demeanor were evident from the moment we took our seats. She navigated the menu with finesse, offering valuable insights and recommendations that guided us through a delightful culinary journey. Cheers to Cosmopolitan for an unforgettable dining experience!

Yelp
Service was great, food was amazing great birthday dinner! Did wish they checked in open table to know it was my birthday though... I also think the apple dessert could be warm would taste amazing but loved every dish

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Did a lot of research before landing here...was overall good. Had sushi, calamari, and corn dog apps. Really liked the sushi. For dinner we had surf and turf and chicken. All good. Maybe I was expecting more but overall great vibe, good service. Good drinks.

Bruce G.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives. The room is warm, inviting and nicely open given it's somewhat narrow footprint. We sat perched at the upper section ledge where we could see the seating areas below, very nice. The food was quite good though, since we had apps at our condo, only had main courses. Then, because of the weak service, skipped dessert but our mains were well plated and tasty. I had the 1/2 chicken with polenta, arugula (which doubled as a salad) and it was pounded flat, generously flavored with rosemary and other herbs, excellent. Wife had the duck breast which she enjoyed very much. Where this meal fell apart...service was inattentive and at 8:30pm the place was busy but not packed. Finally the seemingly experienced server gentlemen took our wine order (glasses this evening). At least 15 minutes later, my wife's wine showed up with an explanation that what I ordered wasn't avail. He left me the menu to alternate select. 10 minutes later took my new selection. 10 minutes later our main courses were served and I still had no wine glass. 5 minutes later he came by and said they somehow found my original selection for which he oddly wanted some sort of reward for the amazing effort (when all I wanted was my wine 35 minutes prior). No offer to comp it, no offer for a comp dessert and most importantly NO apology for the 45 minute wait for a glass of wine and disappearing for long periods; inattentive. My last negative seems to be a better Telluride issue and something seen around the country here and there. The better Telluride restaurants tack on a 4% extra fee with different, inconsistent names. These are not cheap restaurants. If you want to pay your back kitchen staff more, CHARGE MORE. I won't notice or care. But tack on an extra 4% "hospitality" or whatever fee and expect me to then add a 20%-25% tip? INSULTING. Not playing that game. Charge anything you want but skip the B. Tip REDUCED!

Yelp
Fantastic choice when it comes to a fancy dinner in Telluride! We came here on our last night and it was a great ending to a magical trip. From salads to wine to entrees, it was top notch. I had one of the best steaks I've had in awhile and the green peppercorn sauce (upon request) was the cherry on the meat sundae. The sommalier recommended a solid wine within our price range so that was appreciated. The craft drinks are very creative but the orange blossom drink I got was a little too far out there for me so it became community drink at our table. Service was slow and sometimes hard to find out server but I was surrounded by fabulous company with a full belly so after awhile I forgot. Make sure to book a reservation ahead of time!

J Warren R.

Yelp
A wonderful and memorabledining experience. Cosmopolitan did it right for us. Food, service, and ambience. Start with one of their craft cocktails or one of your favorites just to soak in the place. It is casual, but upscale, quietly peaceful, yet a good vibe and real napkins, tablecloths and silverware. The bread is the best anywhere, made in house, crusty, yet smooth, satisfying and sumptuous. Calamari was tender and crispy -- perfectly cooked. Beet salad and goat cheese fresh and delicious. Colorado Lamb perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. Great wine selection by the glass. Service was exceptional, our server was always there when we needed him, but never too much. Grat location, just a few feet from the Gondola station. Can't wait to get back here.

Anna V.

Yelp
Top notch! Only wish I'd taken pics. I had a watermelon marg which was fresh but strong! My dad had a layered salad that was delicious. Daughter and I shared the filet which was perfectly cooked with some tasty sides. Perfect spot for a date night or a nice family dinner.

Yelp
I never leave a poor review lightly, but I will never give this restaurant my business. My husband and I planned a last-minute trip to Telluride on a quiet Friday (the town was at about 30% capacity the weekend we stayed). A local recommended the cosmo for a cocktail and/or dinner. I checked open table and they had reservations every 15 min for the remainder of the evening, so I knew that we would be ok to walk in and ideally sit at the bar. We were greeted by a host and I let him know that we didnt have a reservation, but that we would love to sit at the bar. There was a group of two leaving the bar at the time that we walked up to the host stand. He let us know that we should be able to do that. We sat in front of the fireplace located two feet in front of the host stand. After 25 min of waiting, I walked over to see if something at changed and all but two bar seats were empty. I asked the host if we were able to sit at the bar and he responded "oh I must have forgotten about you or something." I waited for an apology but never received one. His demeanor was that he was annoyed as he walked us to the bar. He treated other patrons much differently. Upon sitting down, I reviewed the wine list and it was all the usual suspects and nothing special & very, very overpriced. We asked the bartender if we would be able to add a protein to any salad and she let us know that it would be 35 dollars to add a piece of salmon. The full salmon entree was 42 dollars. We thanked them for their time and left. We felt like an inconvenience from start to finish.

Yelp
Ambiance is nice (reason for even 2 stars) Service was ok, I imagine service can be better than what we got. I think we just by chance got a surly server which I don't mind if the food made up for it. Unfortunately it's the food that was the absolute worst especially given the ridiculous price. Husband got surf and turf for $70. Petite filet was cooked fine but flavorless. The butter poached shrimp also cooked ok but also flavorless. The spinach was completely flavorless and just sadly blanched then squeezed dry. The only thing with any flavor on his dish was the gravy on his mediocre mash not too different to instant mash. I got the "special" bass dish. It was special alright in how awful it was!! Fish was completely overcooked and bland except for slight fishy taste and texture was more like swordfish than bass due to how overcooked it was. This was served atop a bed of again completely flavorless risotto with "ratatouille" or bland cubes of vegetables mixed in with the risotto. It was pretty bad if it was a normal $20-30 dish but sadly this disgusting meal was upwards of $50. Do not waste your money here. Find somewhere else in town.

Linda S.

Yelp
Food is spectacular no matter what you order. I always get sushi and the chopped salad. Halibut is delicious too!

John J.

Yelp
Great food, ambiance, and service. Emma was a very good waitress; attentive and knowledgeable. The wine and cocktail list was short but very good. As many reviews have mentioned, the homemade bread is outstanding. It's like eating great tasting air. We began with the shrimp and calamari appetizer and it was delicious. It is a huge portion, easily shared by 3/4. The roast chicken entrée was perfectly prepared, delicious, and large enough to be shared if desired. I had the pork chop and it was so tender and flavorful. For dessert we shared the peaches with marscapone. It may have been better than everything else we had and that would be saying a lot.

James B.

Yelp
Food and drinks are always excellent. Service has never failed to impress. Happy hour is great but I advise against going so that there is more room for me. Paul and Ashley are wonderful.

Michael R.

Yelp
Good meal but I think we had better meals while in Telluride! But with that being said this place did not disappoint at all. We started by ordering a round of drinks...a Cosmo, the jalapeño tequila cocktail, and an old fashioned. All were great! For appetizers, we got the calamari and lobster corn dogs. The calamari was delicious, especially with the fried lemon! The lobster corn dogs were not my favorite. I couldn't really tell they were lobster inside of them. For entrees, we got the salmon, filet, seafood stew, and half chicken. All were good. The person that ordered that salmon thought the sauce on the salmon was too sweet and overpowered the fish but said the fish was incredible. Out of all the meals, I think my bite of chicken was the best! To finish, we got the Apple pie type dessert and it was amazing! Overall good meal.

Candice N.

Yelp
After this place was recommended by a coworker, and I read all the rave reviews, I was unfortunately a little underwhelmed here. We had reservations on Noel Night. The hostess was super friendly, taking our coats at the stand. I ordered a Cosmo, because, well, you have to. They were also offering them at $5 (for Noel Night) which I thought was a nice touch; after that I ordered a half bottle of wine. The bread here was probably my favorite part. Our lobster corn dogs were really soggy; I only ate one. I had the salmon, and you'll notice after comparing my photo to other photos of the same dish, mine does not look the same - I could barely eat it, the taste was not great. My S/O had the duck breast and he was really happy with it. Our waiter was hovering, too, so it felt really rushed. I'll probably skip this place next time we visit.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner! I had the pork chop, and it was tender and juicy. In addition, the wait staff, drinks, and dessert made this a 10/10 experience

MJ C.

Yelp
I'm a quasi local and have eaten here a number of times. I took four friends to dinner, anticipating a lovely meal--as I have had there in the past. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Two of us had the sea bass which was overcooked and tasteless with a thin hollandaise sauce that was barely there to help along the dryness of the fish. I left half of it. Two of my companions had the pork chop which they said was good (I think they were being polite as it also seemed over-cooked and dry) and my stepdaughter had the smoked duck which she said was okay. The deserts looked appetizing but the chocolate cake, though pretty, barely hinted of chocolate. The best dish of the evening was the wild blueberry tart which was well prepared and tasty. Altogether, it was a disappointing and expensive meal. Sorry Cosmo.

Salvador P.

Yelp
Food was excellent, we started with the lobster corn dogs, my wife had a Tuna dish which was being featured which was incredible!!! And I had the teriyaki braised short ribs which were also very good. We have no reservations recommending this place.

Rene S.

Yelp
Had dinner while in Telluride- such a lovely place! We sat outside which was great- the service was outstanding- friendly, personable, efficient and offered nice suggestions regarding the menu. We tried a few items and the food was perfect! The lobster and shrimp corn dogs were incredible!! It's a busy place so I'd make reservations if possible- we went early and enjoyed some happy hour items before dinner. Our favorite dinner in town so far! I'd highly recommend trying it!

Kate M.

Yelp
Cosmos is one of the few reliably good restaurants in Telluride. Our meal last week was perfection. The lobster corn dogs are always a favorite. Warm beet salad was delicious. The salmon, steak, and pork chop were all raved about. The grouper was not as tasty as the other dishes but was still good. The bread continues to be the best in town. And never, ever pass up the blueberry pie. Service and ambiance were both great. Don't go changing, Cosmo!

Jessica W.

Yelp
We went to Cosmopolitan for our 20th anniversary and left after the apps because the service was so poor. After our plates were cleared and drinks were empty, we waited at least 30 minutes for the server to return to our table. And it wasn't busy. The three apps we tried were mediocre as well. We were quite surprised at our experience given how highly recommended the restaurant was.

FoodLover F.

Yelp
Came for happy hour and about 10 people ahead of us in line. Get there early! We fortunately got the best seat ever, corner table by window.... We had the cosmos, a glass of wine and shrimp tempura sushi roll as well as the coq au vin. Everything was fantastic. Our server Savannah was awesome! The only neg is the coq au vin was not only room temp, parts were actually cold. We had a lovely day taking gondola up to hiking a great trail thru forest and aspens with their changing colors. Almost a 10 mile day

Haley K.

Yelp
Great happy hour! Located right off the lift which is great. Hostess was a bit judgemental but the drinks were great

Val S.

Yelp
This was an unexpected delight! We saw two open seats at the bar so we snagged them. We were only planning on staying for a drink but ended up staying for dinner too! Pros: - Who is this bartender?! WOAH. The drinks were incredible. He was a machine making drinks for the whole restaurant, but also so attentive to us. He made great food and drink recommendations based on our first drink. Definitely made our night. - Food: Roasted half chicken which was amazing. Crispy on outside, juicy on inside. I had my doubts about it being the "best in telluride" (as advertised to us by the bartender) but he was correct! The dessert was the blueberry pie. The pie crust was out of this world. The blueberries inside were just ok. I wonder if they were freeze dried. Shrimp and calamari as an appetizer was surprisingly large. Too much for two people to eat and then have dinner. Bread was so fluffy and delicious. S Cons: - none top of mind. They dim the lights throughout the evening so the ambiance improves. It's obviously crowded because it's right across from the gondola. We didn't make reservations but if we came back, we definitely would. There's only 6 bar seats so we probably won't get that lucky again. Parking: Walk there

Tyler K.

Yelp
Super tasty option in Telluride right inside the hotel I was staying in (Colombia Hotel) , which was very conveniently located right next to the gondola. the food was very tasty, great ambiance, and quick service.

Valerie R.

Yelp
What a great experience! We came here for my birthday, and our waitress (I want to say her name was Savannah, I hope I'm remembering that correctly) was WONDERFUL. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The wine list is great - we were very excited to see one of our favorite hard-to-find wines on there. The food was amazing. Their bread is some of the best I've ever had. We started with the lobster corn dogs, followed by the warm beet salad, and then had the duck and scallop dish and the pork chop. Everything was excellent. We ordered the blueberry pie to go for dessert - definitely worth getting! If you're looking for a nice place to eat in Telluride, I cannot recommend Cosmo enough.

Tim O.

Yelp
Venerable upscale restaurant in Telluride. Delivered in all respects and I would gladly return. Had the seafood stew which was excellent, but not really a stew in the traditional sense. Also found that the stock was a bit overpowering or raw, noticed the aroma first thing when I walked into the restaurant and also when the dish was served to me. As someone who often makes his own shrimp/seafood stock and tends to mess up the resulting dish every time, I think it should have been toned down more aggressively with the tomato and made creamier.

Stacey R.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic dinner! Customer service was excellent We had the pleasure of meeting Gabrielle the new manager! Definitely we will be back! Thank you for making a memorable night for us

Jenna J.

Yelp
Lived up to the hype especially since they have a $19 Filet Mignon special if you sit at the bar. Great service, cocktails, ambiance and food. Bartenders tonight 3/19 were excellent. I think Gabriel was one of them. The hosts were very friendly as well. Absolutely will be back.

Maria C.

Yelp
I'll start with my only complaint because everything else was great: I made the reservation on Open Table and it asks if there is any reason you're dining with them -- you know, birthday, etc. I wrote that we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. You figure that restaurants of this caliber look at those sorts of things and act on them, but nothing was done about it. That took us by surprise at the end of the meal. Nonetheless, great experience and will be back if ever in town again. To start, we got the lobster corn dogs and for entrees, I got the risotto, my boyfriend got the swordfish, and for dessert we got the apple tart. All were delicious. I wish the risotto was much more carrot and artichoke forward and much less eggplant forward but it was still very good. I cannot remember the name of our server but he was great -- tall male, probably mid 30s on the evening of 1/4. He was personable but not over bearing. When we ordered two glasses of a bottle of red that hadn't been opened for the night yet, he told us it would be a few minute wait for that one and we said that was fine. Instead, to our surprise, he poured us two glasses of a red that was already opened that he said was much better. A great touch. The service was prompt, the ambiance was romantic and elegant but not stuffy, and the food was good -- highly recommend.

Shawn B.

Yelp
Celebrated my wife's 43 birthday at the Cosmopolitan and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was at best disappointing but the Food and Atmosphere over came the service. I would recommend to anyone staying in Telluride for dinner or special occasion.

Daisy D.

Yelp
I was on a trip here in Telluride and saw this lovely restaurant. Do not let how beautiful it looks deceive you. We were told they accept walk-ins. I have no issues with reservation-only but they told us walking in was fine and took down our phone number claiming it was a 30-minute wait. 1 hour later I came back to ask what the hold up was and was told that we would not be accommodated. I don't even care that we couldn't try the food, we were starving and would have rather have gone somewhere else if we weren't going to be seated. Terrible, terrible service. There was no sympathy for the fact that they had lied about being able to accommodate us and they did nothing to try to fix it.

courtney t.

Yelp
Torn between 3 and 4 stars. The service is definitely a 5, but the food always seems to hover around a 3 or 2. Cocktails are also great. I had a fantastic grapefruit jalapeño margarita. It's 5/5 must try. The lamb rack was just ok... I was a bit underwhelmed. Especially considering pricing. Also - weird note but the bathrooms downstairs smelled really funky this time. Smelled like a sewer was leaking or something. Not appetizing. I'm

Christopher L.

Yelp
The food was very good and the presentation was next level. The servers were friendly and gave helpful recommendations.

Michelle M.

Yelp
This is some of the best food I've had in Colorado. We made it for happy hour from 4-5 and had the calamari, salmon nori roll and a Cosmo. All the flavors were so well balanced and just phenomenal. Don't miss out on dessert!

Mary Bell B.

Yelp
Paul is an amazing server! His customer service and kindness are unmatched! He is friendly and made a great experience even better!

Daniel R.

Yelp
The best meal in Telluride! The bread, the mac & cheese, the appetizers, the fish, my goodness everything was delicious. Service was top notch too, capitalized with excellent recommendations from our waiter. The only things that weren't A++ were the deserts. We got a large sampling from the desert menu and they were good, A to B grade, just not out of the park like the rest of our meal. I highly recommend a reservation, especially during the busier ski and summer months. Several parties tried to get in without a reservation and were upset when there was no more room.

George E.

Yelp
Our weekend in Telluride, the final night we dined at The Cosmopolitan. This restaurant has a great reputation among locals and reservations are a must. We enjoyed a fine meal. The fresh bread was delicious and warm. I ordered the Ceasar salad which was crisp and not overdressed. For my entree, the BBQ Scottish salmon was served over swiss chard and crispy yams. The dish was lightly covered with a corn sauce. The BBQ salmon was not over seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sweetness of the yams complemented the BBQ salmon well. The quantity of food was filling but overly so. Someone in our group had seen the chef hand picking chanterelles the day before on the mountain. A member of our group had those chanterelles on their dish and they were "perfect". I could of made an entire meal of them alone . The staff was attentive and on the spot with clearing plates, refilling drinks and making good suggestions. Space was given for us to talk and we did not feel rushed to leave. I would highly recommend The Cosmopolitan for fine dining and an enjoyable atmosphere for conversation. The noise is not loud and you can have a good meeting without yelling over the crowd.

Jenny H.

Yelp
We loved our meal, beautiful restaurant and wonderful waitress. The reason we end up giving 3 stars is solely the hostess (short gray hair). We've heard from locals to try to not be distracted by her impolite attitude and just enjoy the restaurant and meal. I wanted to give the lady the benefit of the doubt and thought she might just have been caught on a bad day in the past. It ended up being more than true unfortunately and it overshadowed our whole experience! Upon arriving it felt like we were facing a receptionist at a morgue instead of being greeted by a welcoming and friendly hostess. No hello or welcome. No smile. Eye rolls in our direction and other people checking in. Gossiping in other guests presence. That kind of crummy persona is not aligned with the excellence of the Cosmopolitan...It left us feeling appalled and with a bad aftertaste for the whole restaurant experience.

Jeane G.

Yelp
We have been coming to eat at Cosmo for over 20 years. And every single time the food is great, consistent quality and great service. As if nothing have changed over that time. The owner/chef is passionate about cooking, and even wild sources some ingredients.

Krista P.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and I'm so glad we did! We noticed this place when we were getting off the gondola and walking to our nearby Airbnb rental. It was the perfect place for aprés ski to grab some drinks or happy hour. However, we went for dinner to their lovely and cozy outdoor patio!! Most of the outdoor tables had fireplaces in the table, as well as an overhead heater for each table, and a heater on the floor. We were plenty warm! It was such a beautiful and romantic ambiance being outside at night with the lights, fireplaces, and snow. I had the ramen, which was good to keep me warm and had a significant amount of different cuts of pork in it. The pork belly was great! And then to top it off we shared the creme brûlée. A perfect evening!

Michaelle R.

Yelp
Outstanding meal. Food was excellant, and good atmosphere and staff. Little odd having my temperature taken to be seated as have not had that elsewhere... but it was what it was. Setting that odd moment aside, meal was amazingly good. Warm beet salad; seafood soup. Excellant.

Sam D.

Yelp
I had been itching to check this place out as we stayed in a apt nearby. They have outdoor seating which may sound a little crazy in Telluride during the winter but it works. They have heaters galore and being outside is a little safer in terms of Covid transmission. We ordered the Ramen and the roasted sweet Potato. The ramen was solid and had a lot of pork belly which enjoyed and the roasted Sweet Potato was surprisingly good and filled me up. The menu was simple and jot overwhelming which I appreciate. Great ambiance so check it out

Glenn F.

Yelp
Outstanding dinner over New Years weekend. Amazing food and great ambiance. Give it a try.
