went here today to grab meat n groceries for the week
because there's so much meat and we're buying for family, we grabbed a bunch of extra green bags so we can distribute to family later on
juliana at the exit rudely said "NO, you cannot take this many bags"
we said we need it for meat, she said we already had bags for the meat. we said we got lots of meat and need to split it with family since some meats had multiple packages. so we need the bags. She still said no
she then proceeded to grab the bags out of our cart and start ripping the bags in front of us and the entire line, and said you cannot have them
i said why would you do this? now that you've touched and ripped them, no one can use them. they'd need to be trashed.
what a petty and unprofessional thing to do
not only did she waste everyones time stopping us for so long, she didn't save costco (worth 410 billion dollars) any money since she ripped the bags, and now we don't have enough bags to distribute meat to the rest of the family. its bad enough she did not help anyone at all, she just wasted everyones time and created more plastic waste.
went and submitted a complaint to the managers in customer service but they didn't seem to do anything. was not given a case number or any employee contact information
completely unnacceptable for a customer facing role. the employee needs retraining
events and employees like this is why alhambra costco in particular sucks, and the city of alhambra is not as good as it should be
