How Food Influences Hip-Hop Duo Flyana Boss’s Creative Visuals and Lyrics | Eater

"Mentioned by fans as a suggested filming site and referenced in their running-video repertoire, this membership warehouse club exemplifies the crowd-driven, large-scale retail locations the duo uses to amp up the energy and communal feel of their social-media challenges." - Annie Harrigan

Why Acid League and Soom Are Closing Their Online E-Commerce Stores | Eater

Are Mail-Order Meal Kits Doomed? | Eater

"A large membership-based retailer that briefly carried a mail-order meal-kit supplier’s products starting in May 2018 but saw that supplier pause the program in November 2018, citing the retailer’s seasonal shelf-space needs; the chain represents an important potential retail channel for meal kits to reach grocery shoppers in-person." - Whitney Filloon

How Costco’s Rotisserie Chickens Will Transform Farming | Eater

"This major retailer built a supply strategy around a loss-leader $4.99 rotisserie chicken—selling tens of millions of birds annually—and is pursuing vertical integration to guarantee supply, stabilize price, and expand control over the supply chain. To appeal to shoppers who care about sourcing it has tightened antibiotic-use standards under shareholder pressure and cultivated a reputation for relatively better pay in its warehouse workforce; its scale and financial resources make the move consequential for producers, local economies, and competitors. The retailer’s pursuit of in-house production is framed as an economic opportunity for struggling farmers, but it has also raised concerns about concentration of market power, take-it-or-leave-it contracting, and the broader implications if other large retailers follow suit." - Twilight Greenaway

Costco has great deals and a variety of clothes, shoes, food, appliances, you name it. The weekend is very crowded. The store could go a better job with organizing the lines for check out. For example, the self checkout has two rows of registers so there should be two lines to get to those but there’s only one line. So for a customer to see a gigantic long line is daunting. But it really was faster because it was feeding into st least 6 or more registers. Then, once you purchase your items there’s another line to get out of the store. Again, it’s one line, but they could put a barrier up and have two lines. This is where they check your receipt.

Well laid out and well-stocked. Quality is average Costco. Employees are a 3 out of 5 (could not understand ANY of the 5 I personally dealt with). And that ends the good: like EVERY Costco, it suffers enormously in crowd control, disability access, number of registers, parking, and the way in which they stock certain items. Crowd control: have two check-ins instead of having a line out to the parking lot just to get in to the store. Have someone expediting and helping people at the registers, space the aisles out slightly more with no building support beams in the middle of them to block access. Disability access: we went through four mobility scooters before i gave up. The worst one that was supposedly fully charged only went 50 feet before dying. Get more and better scooters, there's obviously a need since they were dead all over the store. Number of registers: seriously, it's 2025. Look at what your competitors do and learn from them. Even BJ's handles this better and i thought they were stuck in the 1800's. When the line to check out is as long as a ride at Disney, your doing something very very wrong. Parking: ever Costco I've ever been to (over a dozen) sucks when it comes to parking. Maybe it's time to have valet? When you take your life into your hands just trying to get a spot, it's not worth it (especially given one of your major competitors is less than a mile or so away). Do better. Stocking: i challenge anyone to go into a Costco and find the right size clothing without having to dive and create a mess. People suck, I get that, but is it so hard to have all of your xs, s, m, etc sorted into piles? Maybe if you used shelves with dividers you could do that? They sell those at Sam's. Also, there's no legitimate reason to have stacks of clothes 3 feet high and 4 feet deep. I gave up after 5 minutes of trying to find a shirt.

I am a longtime Costco member and usually have positive experiences. However, at this particular location, I want to bring attention to a recurring issue involving my service animal, which is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). During my first visit, I was stopped at the entrance by an employee who requested I wait for management, even though my service dog was clearly identified and securely strapped to me for safety. After completing my shopping, I spoke with a manager who apologized and assured me that the employee would be spoken to. Unfortunately, on a subsequent visit to return an item, I encountered the same employee. Despite my calm explanation and the fact that my service animal is protected under the ADA, I was once again questioned and singled out. This repeated harassment not only made me uncomfortable but also goes against ADA guidelines, which protect individuals with disabilities from discrimination. I hope Costco will provide additional training to ensure that all staff members understand the rights of service animal handlers. Everyone deserves to shop without unnecessary interruptions or discomfort.

Wonderful store, however parking is such a problem that I cancelled my membership a few years ago before coming back. It’s common to have 30 waiting for parking spots. They need to build a multi- level parking garage. Do not try to get your tires changed / serviced here unless you have 4 hours to kill. Terribly understaffed tire center. Bought my tires at a West Coast Costco that was much better run.

Drove an hour out of our way from another Costco in DC because customer service saw that they had plenty of the product we were looking for in stock. Upon arrival, we spent 20 minutes circling the aisles trying to find the product, but we had no luck. We then asked multiple associates on the floor for assistance, and nobody was willing to spend any time trying to assist. We eventually made it to the customer service desk, who eventually tracked down the manager of the product's section. Come to find out that they haven't been able to locate a pallet with the inventory on it, but nobody thought to update their inventory in the system. In total, this trip wasted 3 hours of our time and a quarter tank of gas.

On Sept 3, 2025 At 7pm, where my car just stopped working and a month ago I had posted a wonderful review about the gentlemen who helped me move my car. I didn't get his name at that time, but I met him last week at the same spot and Mr. Gene is a wonderful man who is super nice to everyone. The first thing he asked me how is your car doing and so glad everything worked out for you! So grateful and appreciate the help!
