Who can say no to Costco? We’ve loved shopping at this location since 2010.
Costco consistently offers great gas prices—lower than almost anywhere else. Their tech and clothing selections change throughout the year, along with special promotions both in-store and online. While we’ve occasionally purchased food items we didn’t personally like, we’ve never been disappointed in the quality. We also love ordering their sheet cakes for special occasions.
The Costco Pharmacy is extremely efficient and always notifies customers via text when prescriptions are ready. The staff throughout the store are friendly and helpful, which is why we’ve remained long-time, loyal members.
Plus, we also love the Costco travel plans.
Unfortunately, I recently had a disappointing experience with the returns department. We received a recall letter from Costco regarding Korean BBQ pork jerky we had purchased. Since we didn’t like the product, one unopened package was still in our fridge.
On January 8, 2026 during my weekly shopping trip, brought the recalled item to the return department. Three staff members made me feel embarrassed for attempting the return. One employee insisted on seeing the recall letter, and a return department supervisor laughed and made comments about the expiration date in front of other customers. The situation was humiliating, and many people were watching.
I left the counter and continued shopping. After returning to the store from my car, I happened to meet the store manager, Charles. I calmly explained the situation and told him the recall letter. He immediately apologized, processed the refund, and assured me that additional training would be provided to the returns staff.
While this experience was upsetting, we truly appreciate how professionally the store manager handled the situation. Costco remains a company we trust and support, and we hope this feedback helps improve customer service moving forward.
