Costco Issaquah – Great Value, If You Can Brave the Crowds
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5)
Costco in Issaquah delivered a consistently great experience—with friendly service, solid alcohol selections, and excellent value across the board. We had stopped by another liquor store for comparison, and Costco’s pricing was noticeably more competitive. In fact, compared to online prices (which can fluctuate by over $100 for the same bottle), Costco consistently offers some of the best in-store deals around.
That said, one thing to keep in mind is the Costco-sized packaging—you’re usually buying in bulk. So while the price per liter or gallon might be lower, the overall cost can be quite a bit higher. This is perfect if you’re hosting a large gathering, but less ideal for more casual or personal use.
Beyond the liquor section, the rest of the store is pretty much what you’d expect from Costco. Our personal favorite is, of course, the $5 rotisserie chicken and the food court options—still unbeatable at $1–$2 for a quick bite. And we absolutely love the free samples on weekends, which remain unmatched by any other grocery competitor.
As for this location specifically, be warned: it’s always packed. There’s heavy traffic both in and out of the parking lot almost any time of day, so timing your visit wisely can make a huge difference. But thanks to its high demand and popularity, the selection stays fresh and well-stocked, and the staff keeps things moving smoothly.
All in all, it’s a strong choice if you’re prepared to navigate the crowds and make the most of the bulk-value model.
