Nonprofit FareStart’s Guest Chef Night Goes Online for 2021 | Eater Seattle

"I noted that megastore Costco, headquartered in Issaquah and employing 180,000 workers nationwide, announced it will raise its minimum wage to $16 per hour; CEO W. Craig Jelinek also appeared before the Senate Budget Committee to testify about wages at large retailers as Congress considered a $15 federal minimum-wage increase (a provision later shot down by the Senate parliamentarian), and his testimony came not long after Seattle passed a hazard-pay bill for grocery store workers." - Gabe Guarente

Costco Issaquah – Great Value, If You Can Brave the Crowds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Costco in Issaquah delivered a consistently great experience—with friendly service, solid alcohol selections, and excellent value across the board. We had stopped by another liquor store for comparison, and Costco’s pricing was noticeably more competitive. In fact, compared to online prices (which can fluctuate by over $100 for the same bottle), Costco consistently offers some of the best in-store deals around. That said, one thing to keep in mind is the Costco-sized packaging—you’re usually buying in bulk. So while the price per liter or gallon might be lower, the overall cost can be quite a bit higher. This is perfect if you’re hosting a large gathering, but less ideal for more casual or personal use. Beyond the liquor section, the rest of the store is pretty much what you’d expect from Costco. Our personal favorite is, of course, the $5 rotisserie chicken and the food court options—still unbeatable at $1–$2 for a quick bite. And we absolutely love the free samples on weekends, which remain unmatched by any other grocery competitor. As for this location specifically, be warned: it’s always packed. There’s heavy traffic both in and out of the parking lot almost any time of day, so timing your visit wisely can make a huge difference. But thanks to its high demand and popularity, the selection stays fresh and well-stocked, and the staff keeps things moving smoothly. All in all, it’s a strong choice if you’re prepared to navigate the crowds and make the most of the bulk-value model.

One of the few remaining American wholesalers who aren’t corrupt. This corporation is run the way a business should be run- honestly and fairly. They treat their employees well; and customer service is exemplary. There is a membership fee- but well worth it. ‘Honesty is the best policy’, is their motto!

Literally best Costco! Not only are the employees stellar, the community is brilliant and the vibe is CALM. We drive 35 minutes to shop here and re-supply for a great experience. Thank you! Jules & Oakley from Wicked Rae's Splatter Studio ✌🏼

Not going to lie, this place is always busy, but the staff are consistently kind and helpful despite the rush. Today I went in for pizza and want to give a special shoutout to the gentleman running the food court pizza pickup. He was so sweet and friendly and chatting with people, asking about their day, making sure we knew the wait time for whole pizzas, and keeping the mood upbeat. When my order was ready, he even called out my name and looked around to hand it to me personally. I think his name started with a B (maybe Brenton or Bryan), but I didn’t quite catch it. Either way, he really stood out. On top of that, another staff member was cleaning up nearby and struck up a friendly conversation after I grabbed my food. Honestly, the employees here are always so warm and welcoming, it makes the busy atmosphere feel a lot more enjoyable. Super sweet staff!

They unloaded me a day early. 3pm. But only 15 pallets. Done before 4pm I don't know if they will do it all the time. It was really busy on a Sunday. Trucks approach from 11th Ave NW

I absolutely love Costco! The product selection is top-notch with great variety, and the customer service is simply outstanding. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and make the whole shopping experience feel relaxed and positive. One moment really stood out to me: one evening, less than five minutes before closing, a family was still walking in from the parking lot. A staff member cheerfully shouted, “Keep the doors open! We’ve got a family coming in!” Even though I personally think people should be more mindful of the staff’s working hours, this moment really showed the heart of Costco’s culture—kindness, flexibility, and genuine care. It was touching. I’ve also run into a few vendors or brand owners visiting the store to check on their products and get a feel for the market. Every one of them was friendly and excited to share their ideas and what makes their products special. That kind of transparency and passion adds to what makes shopping at Costco such a great experience.

Good location, but It was extremely busy the day we visited. The parking lot here is one of the absolute worst layouts I've ever seen. If you are someone who is easily triggered by clueless drivers who block the aisles, park far away.
