The Looming Dystopia of Drone-Delivered Pizza and Walmart Food Halls | Eater

"A big-box warehouse chain whose enormous demand for rotisserie chickens — about 60 million sold per year — is expected to have an outsized impact on Nebraska farms and farmland, with implications for agricultural practices, supply chains, and the regional farming economy." - Amanda Kludt

Costco’s $5 Rotisserie Chicken Operation Gets New Nebraska Facility | Eater

"To sustain a $5 rotisserie-chicken offering, the retailer is building a large processing plant in Nebraska and partnering with hundreds of new farms to produce discount poultry; the facility is expected to process more than two million chickens per week, compete with major producers like Tyson and Perdue, support roughly 60 million rotisserie chickens sold annually, lower supply costs, and help keep whole rotisserie birds in stock as other suppliers shift toward larger birds not intended to be sold whole." - Chris Fuhrmeister

Why Costco Will Never Raise the Price of Rotisserie Chicken | Eater

"This warehouse chain sells the largest rotisserie birds on average (about three pounds fully cooked), has kept its price at $4.99 since 2009, stores the chickens toward the back of massive stores to drive additional purchases, and sold roughly 87 million supermarket rotisserie chickens last year; it is also investing heavily in supply by building a $300 million chicken-processing plant in Nebraska." - Daniela Galarza

I have been coming to this Costco for almost 18 years and I’m always amazed at how many people have worked the entire time I’ve been shopping there. My best deals that I get there at paper products, grapes, meat, supplements, staples like sugar, flour and spices, cloths on occasion, dairy products and dog food to list a few things. They have always treated me and my family well.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They were rude to my daughter when she went in. We didn't know that I had to be with her. She lives in my household and went to grab stuff, and the cashier lady snatched it out of her arms, and told her no, you can't buy this. I called management, never did anything they told me to come in and then they were never there. And then on top of it all, they auto renewed my membership, and I've been trying to get my refund back for the last 3 weeks, the customer service guy that I initially talked to said he was gonna refund me my money for the last year's membership too. But Costco was counting that as for this year, so they gave me a whole $6.25 back on top of my membership for last year and still got away with $70 of mine do not go to this place. They are not customer oriented. They have given me the runaround this place sucks.

Absolutely disgusted with my experience today. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad at the Costco food court and it was completely inedible. The lettuce was rotten - covered in pink and brown spots that screamed "throw me away weeks ago." This wasn't just wilted produce, this was straight-up spoiled food. How does a massive company like Costco think it's okay to serve customers rotting vegetables? The staff either didn't bother to check what they were serving or simply don't care. Either way, it's unacceptable.

The customer service is never at this location. Every time you come in there is a HUGE lack of it. I will stick with La Vista from now on-sometimes a simple thank you or have a nice day goes a long way Management called me today to verify situation and explained things. I appreciated the phone call and explanation of policy.

This is how you spend $100 on three items! My athlete loves the chocolate Fairlife!.

Google
Actually, Sam's club. Fantastic scan and Go to take out stop wait in line. Plus, could get curbside pick up. Gas prices good. Bulk is how reduce costs is understandable. Two ppl in home, it may be limited in perishable items. We find a great option at our club last summer/fall, gone since Nov, can get shipped or at another location (not at 132 L St, but Papillon beyond burgers, diet Mt dew bottles for example).

Google
Unprofessional and condescending male cashier. He was an older man and apparently was rude to my daughter on a previous visit. Sunday, we shopped and I am a Costco cardholder as is my daughter via family member. I gave him my daughter’s Costco card since she had hers out quicker and as I took my credit card out, he stopped me and stopped scanning and told me I would need to show him my card if I wanted to pay. “You mean I cannot pay for my daughter’s items? “ “No, you are the primary card holder so I need your card and you to pay?” “Why can’t she pay then? She’s on my credit card as authorized user?” Bottom line, this is ridiculous. And he was unnecessarily rude. He stood there and decided to give us a lecture on Costco’s policy (which is not clear) while I showed him my Costco card. He didn't scan items as he talked. I told him, “I don’t need to hear your little rant, move along. People are lined up behind us.” He had a bad attitude and to Costco, Enough is enough! If a customer has a Costco card and their mom or dad or boyfriend are with them and would like to pay for it, let them. BTW we were there on Sunday, May 18, 2025 around 12:30 so you can check who was working and hopefully say something to the short, slightly built, older rude cashier. ( around 60 yrs old?) Everyone else we’ve encountered at Costco have been helpful and courteous. You have a bad apple.

Google
This store used to be great to go to. The new management has absolutely ruined any kind of fun vibe, or inviting atmosphere. Whoever the manager is should be sentenced to worm for the DMV, because that's what it feels like here now. No inviting Smiles at the entrance door, and even fewer Smiles as you exit. I work within one block of this location, but I'll purposely drive out to 180th out of my way to not have to be inside the store. Great job corporate you ruined a perfect If I never came to this again,

Yelp
This is a favorite family spot and such a cheap date night with pretty good pizza and hot dogs. Love the rotating seasonal options and prepared food. Sometimes the parking lot can be crazy and the gas line might not be worth waiting.

Yelp
Selection and service is good. We're able to find almost everything in this outlet. It would be great if they have more seafood selections and pork ribs cut in smaller sizes but it's good nonetheless. It's our weekly grocery spot.

Yelp
Horrible!!! Without any doubt the worst Costco experience my wife and I ever had. Left your location feeling very upset.

Yelp
Let's face it... we all walk in with a cart, with the idea of only getting a rotisserie chicken... yet we end up with a cart full of stuff we never knew we needed and never intended to get. What's not to love? Get your strawberries , pork loin, garden hose, and new dishes while the bakers are making your cake and your $1.50 hotdogs is being ordered. What more do you need? Maybe a tire or two! Best of all, is if there is something you buy and it doesn't "taste just right" or just doesn't work out for you, you can return that item without any hassle. I like the fact that they have also started checking people's Costco cards at the check out, to ensure that it truly is a member using the membership. Sadly I do have one complaint about this Costco location, and I'm sorry to say I've heard the same complaint over and over by customers standing next to me. Remember I mentioned the chicken we all originally went in for? Well my complaint ( and others ) seem to get the same guy putting out the chicken and he tends to take his time doing so and tries to control how many he will put out at a time. I've heard comments from people asking "what's his deal?" or "does he think he needs to control the chicken output?" Worst of all I heard one patron call him " the chicken nazi". Now he seems to get those chickens out all at one time when he has management hanging about , but other than that, it's a bit of a downer when we see him dealing out the chicken. I know it's petty, I get that! But I came in for just a chicken and ended up getting a set of tires! Still giving 5 stars!

Yelp
They won't let you get a basic membership without first keeping you hostage at the membership desk while using extreme high pressure tactics to buy a more expensive membership. when I finally convinced the membership sales woman that I could not afford nor was I interested in anything more that a basic membership, she became rude. Then I was told at the checkout that my full cart if groceries had sat there too long and had been returned to stock even though I was promised my cart would be held at checkout until I had my membership card. Cancelled membership same day and then am back old I have to wait a week to get my money back. This place is a scam

Maxx J.

Yelp
The corporate atmosphere makes me not want to renew my membership. I don't like having to check in for the food court, I don't care if people other than owners of memberships were using them.

Yelp
I've never had a bad experience here. I snagged a Costco membership when I was a freshman in college and split the membership with my parents. The gas is a little cheaper, and if you know what to look for you're going to get a good deal! Anything Kirkland is probably going to be cheaper and also pretty good quality! It's a great place to buy toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies and bulk frozen foods. On the edges of the aisles there is usually discounted foods and those are usually where you're going to save the most money and get your money back on your membership.. if you're buying for a single person, I'm not sure if it's worth it but if you're buying for a household you will get most of your money back and probably save money if you get the right products! I didn't learn until several years in that they will fill up your tires for you and that has definitely been a nice extra to not having to get out - especially during the colder months.

Mary H.

Yelp
If buy tires at Costoco do not expect them to service them. I bought a set of Michelin tires a year ago. I've had two flat tires at two different times and cannot get them serviced at Costco. They claim to service the tires they sell, however, they do not take appointments for service - only for sales. There is no lockbox so you cannot drop your car off. There is no courtesy service available. hey will not even guarantee when/if they will look at your car. This has happened twice to me already. Sorry I didn't go elsewhere.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great customer service. On pricing, some things are well priced versus other stores (rotisserie chicken, gas, special items, etc), whereas others (when I shop at Aldi) like fruit/veg are not really great prices. I likely couldn't do all my shopping at Costco for budget purposes but I love going and getting select items and trying out some of their new products.

Yelp
employees arnt helpful to disabled. very rude and full of attitude Will never go back to any stored

Yelp
Horrible costumer service. In the self check out line with some friends and we repeatedly got asked very intrusive questions regarding our age and the legitimacy of our Costco membership. Very strange. Believe the staff member name was Flax? Anyways, do better Costco!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Costco does everything in their power to not support tire warranty claims. I had 2 tire places both tell me that my tires are covered under warranty and Costco declines. Their tire center sucks! Don't come here

Yelp
Best Costco I have been to- and I've been to a lot of them. Today, we were dreading the crowds since it's Sunday. Sure enough, the parking lot was completely full. We expected to spend at least 30 minutes in line to check out- we only waited 5 minutes. During both of our visits here, supervisors were very visible, and all workers looked engaged and busy. COVID precautions also actively enforced. BRAVO to this Costco!

Yelp
I visit this store at least once a month. Unless you go early or late, parking is an issue at this location. Employees are very helpful and friendly the majority of the time. The variety and offerings are very good and once in a while, you will find a few customers who aren't courteous by taking up valuable space in the aisle or moving slowly and not allowing others to pass towards the exits. The snack bar is efficient and the store is clean and well kept.

Yelp
I haven't been to Costco in over a year. Once Vivid hit and people were swarming this place for toilet paper, I lost interest. Besides, with no samples, the fun was gone. But here I am, getting used to the new normal we are all finding. Yeah, masks are required. Yeah, there's no seating at the cafe. But it's all okay. It's good to be back and experience a bit of life BC (before Covid).

Yelp
Costco is the place to get most of what you need. Want a massive bag of chips that never ends? Check. Want the best store bought pumpkin pie EVER? Double check! For the most part, Costco has what I want, in quantities that are more affordable than many other supermarkets offer. Seriously, who sells a pumpkin pie that big for $6? Costco does and it is fantastic! I've been shopping at Costco in general since my parents took us as kids when they went shopping. I eventually got my own membership and began doing my own shopping, because who doesn't want their own card? Anyway, for the best shopping experience, go in the afternoon on a weekday around 2pm if you can for the best shopping experience, your nerves will thank you for it. PS: their gas prices are almost always better than most every other gas station. I use the Gas Buddy app to help me compare.
google avatar

Karen J.

Yelp
After shopping here for 6 years, I got nastily scolded for not putting my single layer, bar-code up groceries on the conveyor belt. Evidently if you have more than 5 items they must go on the belt, and I had slightly more than that. I thought the whole idea of Covid is to have as little personal contact as possible. Heaven forbid that the two employees (besides the checker) could have helped me do that while explaining The Rules. Or maybe I don't show my 70 years of arthritis pain, and I shouldn't have been there during senior hours. Why don't they get removable wands so I can so self checkout with a case of pop in the cart? Or better yet, checkout with smart phone like Sam's Club? Then I wouldn't have to deal with these people who think I should be honored to shop at Costco. Meanwhile, I'll go back to Sam's for awhile. While Sam's employees may not always be as friendly, I've never be scolded in 20 years of shopping there. And don't bother looking on their app for "The Rules". They aren't there.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Lots of selection for different products. I must say that buying supplements and meats here probably are the greatest deals. Their gas price is also a plus since it is cheaper than other gas stations. Tip: come here during weekdays, avoid the weekend because it would be chaotic.

Anna O.

Yelp
not good. we were at the checkout paying for our sukhi mango chicken that we were ecstatic to try out when linda and kevin came up to us and told us we were not allowed to pay for the food. another women offered to pay for our groceries, but kevin denied her right to pay for food- a basic human necessity. whatever. at least we got the free costco samples.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
Great place to get a good deal on everything from food & spirits to vitamins, accessories and more! The annual dues vary from $60 for a basic membership to $120 for an executive membership (get 4% cash back on gas.. cheapest in town for sure!). Overall dues aren't that much for getting your pick of the best prices around at a quantity or size that is plenty to feed most, including a really hungry couple. Gas prices are generally at least 10 cents below the average for stations around town and with the 4% cash back on an executive membership then you're definitely getting your money's worth with the higher up membership.
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
This Costco is busy and keeps the products stocked even in a pandemic. Because of its size the staff has to get creative so if you can't find something just ask, they are always happy to help!! Also if you see samples take them, due to Covid you could score a whole beef stick, fig bar or cookie bags. Best deals on alcohol too.
google avatar

Yelp
Good ol Costco. Here's a secret, the Costco in Papillon is no where near as busy as this one. This is like any other Costco across the nation. You know what to expect from Costco. Long linesbthat move fairly quick on weekends and pretty good prices on bulk. With a family of 6, Costco is a must for us. My complaint won't be the lines or the crowds. It's the dang produce and recently the muffins. If you buy fruit here, it needs to be eaten within 2/3 days, otherwise in my experience, it almost always starts to mold or go bad. Without fail. The bulk big muffin packs have been the same recently. No joke, twice in a month. I bought a pack and the kids didn't eat them right away. Once it was less than 4 days before they broke into them. The other was the day after I bought them. Same thing. My kid (12) literally said "Dad, this doesn't taste right". Being the amazing parent that I am I replied with "Quit complaining and eat the muffin. It's a muffin that tastes like a muffin". This was followed by another bite and the kid spitting the bite in the trash and saying "Dad, I really can't eat this, it's gross". I annoyingly take a bite, spit it out myself and look closely. Yup. It's bad, there's mold. Now I scrape my tongue under the sink and my kid laughs and says "I told you so". Yeah. He did and yeah we both didn't think mold would be on them the day after we bought them. The return policy here is second to none. 4 1/2 stars. But I can't give half stars so it always rounds down.

Yelp
The thing that amazes me about Costco is that these folks know how to move a line. Last time I looked out at a sea of people checking out in front of me and I was still out in about 5 mins. I appreciate the efficiency. I agree with other shoppers that their seafood section is amazing. Their bakery is good too. The famed pumpkin pie can't be beat. The chocolate cake is decadent. My son loves going into their cold room to pick out fruit. Then of course there are the samples, especially is you come around noon or on the weekend. Overall, shopping at Costco is always fun.

Oscar B.

Yelp
The best in the business easily. The other reviewers mostly nailed it but I'll throw on new stuff to keep us recent - self checkout kiosks for food court orders, self checkout in general. New return policy, MUST have ORIGINAL receipt with purchase; I know it's not fun but if you buy something expensive just tape it on the back easy peasy. I've also seen some confusion about alcohol purchases - purchaser must be 21 and in possession of the membership used for purchase. It's not even a Costco thing it's a liquor license law thing ‍. Last things last if you need to pay with credit it's gonna have to be Visa (highly recommended the Costco Citi Visa for 1-tap gas, 4% back on gas, 3% back on restaurants/hotels, 2% back @ Costco warehouses, and 1% elsewhere. PLUS the membership is printed on the back of your CC so checking out is a one card ordeal; the cashiers love it. App support is phenomenal.) I work there and am proud of the face we put on for our members. You'll notice 1 star review trends mentioning workers not letting members break rules or funnier yet griping at them to move faster. Between that and the parking complaints I would argue that we're suffering from success. My best advice for a smooth journey is as follows: 1) If you can, SHOP WEEKDAYS. 2) Every day of the week, move like a New Yorker: walk where you're going quickly, and do not start an aisle wide conversation with your church friend - save it for the potluck! If you're in the main isle taking your time, someone IS behind you wishing they could pass. 3) Asking for help can be embarrassing, but it's never as embarrassing as meandering and gawking at our unfortunate lack of signage. Ask for help! 4) If advice isn't adding up, ask for help again! Some of my coworkers are stupid! 5) If you don't have reusable grocery bags despite it being 2022 and it's a busy busy day, you're also allowed to grab almost-empty boxes from the shelves - we will not get jealous, just be considerate. 6) Costco Citi Visa Card. 7) Costco App for Digital Membership Card. 8)* IF you buy our gasoline at a typically ~20¢ lower markup than surrounding stations, please pull in as much as possible when you see room - the gas line will reach to the other side of your car, don't sweat the "wrong" lane. Those who worry about shopping with 1000 other members simultaneously will be glad to hear a secondary far west Costco location is being scouted to alleviate the somewhat extreme Dodge location demand.

Yelp
What not to love about Costco? Industrial sized toilet paper packages, unique home decor items, $6.99 Prosecco? I've been a Costco member for years because of their family friendly products and unique and often healthy food options big enough to feed a family of 5. I also love that they have affordable yet super style and comfortable clothing, again for babies - my husband. The staff is some of the friendliest you can find in a truly "Big Box" store. Their customer service station is very helpful when a misplaced membership cards need replacing and their photo center is high quality for 1/4 of the cost at other printers. If you are a parent the diapers alone are worth the membership price. It's truly a new experience with new find everytime you shop there.

Yelp
Some great employees, some great products. Unfortunately, some unfriendly and belligerent employees who start confrontations with customers. When I called in to calmly let management know, the management both confirmed she was incorrect in her citation of store policy -and- implied that I was a liar. Haven't had these problems at the Giles store. Although I don't intend to keep my membership anyway after this, if someone wanted to pick a store that does a decent job, my experience would be avoid Dodge. Go to Harrison. It's also usually less busy there.

Yelp
I usually love this store I go here once a week today while checking out I had a girl that was so rude to me that I seriously was floored! I can't remember her name I was so upset!! mid 40s girl maybe Stacy or Julie ... but I cannot believe how I was talked to today!!!! Hands down worst costumer Service!!! I hope she honestly gets fired! She clearly does not want her job!

Yelp
This place is always crazy busy. Great deals draw the people in. Lots of good healthy choices. I'd give five stars but really nothing healthy to eat in their cafe.

Yelp
It was my first time going there today. I will never go there again. A stressed out employee yelled at me. And then while I was standing there waiting for my mom he continued to stare directly at me. I said what are you staring and then he said I work here I can stare at whatever I want.

Yelp
I just want to add- their flower selection is super affordable and on point. Bakers dozen roses $19.99 long stem and gorgeous.

Yelp
I've been a member of Costco since it was called Price Club. I was disappointed when I first moved to Omaha to find that there was no Costco here, and then extremely pleased when this store opened. Costco usually has excellent prices, however their selection tends to be extremely limited. Their stock also tends to be rather fickle, a product they carry one week may suddenly disappear and never show up again. While their prices are USUALLY lower than supermarkets, Costco does not accept coupons (other than their own) and does not often have sales, so some products are actually cheaper elsewhere if you shop around or clip coupons. Their bakery goods and meat have always been fresh, but their produce can be wildly variable. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's awful. I've purchased bags of salad that stayed green for over a week, then a short time later seen bags in the store that were already turning brown. They have a gas station out front which is usually one of the cheapest in town (though HyVee and Super Saver often have cheaper gas IF you have coupons). This particular location has a pharmacy which will special order pretty much anything if they don't have it in stock, a 1 hour photo department (actually about 20 minutes for digital prints), a bakery, optical department, hearing aids, a tire center with excellent prices and the ubiquitous food court featuring a hot dog and soda with unlimited refills for $1.50. Membership is required to shop at Costco, which costs about $50 a year for a standard or business account, or $100 for an "Executive" membership which gets you a 2% rebate check once a year on all Costco purchases (except gas). The Executive membership pays for itself if you spend at least $2500 a year at Costco. They also offer an American Express card which gets you an annual rebate of 3% on gasoline (4% for business accounts), 3% on restaurants, 2% on travel and 1% on everything else, and no annual fee as long as you maintain a Costco membership. Costco does NOT accept Discover, MasterCard or Visa. They only accept American Express, PIN-based debit cards, cash and checks. Checks are only accepted from the membership holder. Purchases made with a Costco Cash Card do not require a membership, however only members can purchase these cards. Costco has the best return policy of any store. You can return any item for any reason at ANY TIME for a full refund. Changed your mind about that book, take it back. The color of that sofa doesn't match your drapes, take it back. Allergic to those muffins, take them back. The exception is televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, MP3 players and cellphones, which can only be returned within 90 days.

Yelp
okay, so I've always been a fan of Costco. Ever since they opened in Hawai'i and in my hometown, my family and I have been very loyal customers to Costco. So when I moved up here to NE I knew I would be able to get my favorite things from Costco here. They don't have everything that the one in Hawai'i has, but they do have a lot. I love getting lost in the store and looking at all the good deals here. I like that they have the kirkland brand items here, they're pretty similar to the name brand products, and they deliver quality too! Another great thing about this costco, is that they have the gas station. My boyfriend and I come here every two week so to fill up, and being able to save several coins on gas helps in this tough economy! The tough thing about cstco is that they only accept cash, checks, or their own credit card, BUT if you go through their self checkout you are allowed to use your debit card. This is a great feature in my opinion. The weekends are pretty busy, but the lines go by quickly enough. Customer service is pretty good. My boyfriends sister ordered her flowers here for her bridesmaids bouquets, and the employees were so helpful when we came to pick them up. Costco is definitely my go to place to must needs for the house, toilet paper, soy milk, snacks, veggies, and fruit. I may be far from home, but having a Costco here to get what I need, I'm ALL good!

Yelp
I'm amazed I haven't reviewed this yet! Any who.. I adore Costco, I think of it as Sam's Club's less ghetto older brother. The memberships are $55 a year for a normal membership or $110 for the executive, which gives you 2% back on purchases (or better if you get the credit card). This means you have to spend at least $2750 in 12 months or about $230 a month there to make it worth your money. If you don't, they will refund it so you have nothing to lose trying it out. Otherwise you get a voucher that is like in store credit and it can be really worth your money. I buy organic whenever I can and we are blessed that our Costco has lots of organic options. Meats, dairy, cheese, produce, canned goods, staples, breads, etc all organic options. I haven't seen a Costco (or Sam's Club) with more organic options than ours. I also like their pet selection and home goods. Their paper towels are great, better than most name brand and their grain free (orange bag) cat food is my furry friend's favorite. It helps them with their tummy issues and it's only $20 for a huge bag. Price wise, I compare it to Walmart or Aldi's and often it's about the same or cheaper. Some things are more expensive, like diapers and wipes for exaple so do your research. However to their credit, Costco diapers are AWESOME, I used them for all of my foster children and never had an issue with rashes or leaking, they fit great. Parking can be a pain in the butt depending on when you go, but exercise is good for you. The gas is usually cheaper than anywhere else in town. I can't testify for the tires department, but when I priced around they were middle of the road in terms of price. What is my favorite thing at Costco besides free samples on a Saturday afternoon? Their return policy. Let's say I buy a waffle maker and 2 years later it breaks and I don't have a receipt, manual, or a box to save my life. Am I screwed? Nope I can return it to Costco, they will look up the receipt and give me my money back. This was a real thing that I did, I only wish they still sold that brand. What if you buy a membership and then 10 months later decide it wasn't worth it? No problem, they'll give you ALL your money back. Trust me when I say (having tried this) Sams won't do that. Oh and did we mention $1.50 hot dogs or brats. I only wish they still had the polish sausages and those 900 calorie almond ice cream bars. Yes folks, I love Costco and if I still had a car, I would do pretty much all my shopping there, but as it stands we make it a family thing and go once a month.

Yelp
No standard for employee behavior or expectation of respect. Costco, why does an employee think it's okay to approach my Korean friend and tell her that she's "only in this country because of the American dream"? Is this the bar you have set for your workers?

Yelp
Big fan of Costco! The staff is always friendly and I always find plenty of good stuff. We lived in Lincoln, NE for awhile and all we had was Sam's Club. No vegan frozen items there aside from just straight frozen fruits and veggies. The last couple trips to Costco we brought home this amazing steamable quinoa and kale. Makes a wonderful quick and easy side dish. They always seem to have a different vegan burger option each time I shop there. They carry vegan soups and sides, too. Every so often Costco stops carrying something I adore (most recently, Nature's Bakery Fig Bars). A couple other comments: I love checking out the wine selection! Once we left there with a 6 foot cat tree.

Yelp
We love Costco. There business plan is to buy and sell in bulk and sell it for the lowest cost they can and then make up for it in there memberships! And it works, I think it is busy every time I go to Costco. Defiantly recommend it to any family with kids... you don't have to go to the store every week like you might going to a regular grocery store.

Yelp
I don't have a Costco membership but after visiting there for the first time last week with my sister, I wish I did! I've had a Sam's Club membership in the past but didn't use it enough to justify the expense. I've heard from just about everyone who has shopped at both that Costco was so much better and now I can see why. Upon entry, it reminded me a lot of Sam's but they offered so much more. I really like the fresh produce cooler room and walked away with a large fruit tray for $9.99 that would easily sell for $15-20 at the regular grocery store. I also got a giant bag of Babybel cheese for a fraction of the regular price. The guacamole, hummus and other dips are fantastic! The samples were delicious and made you want to buy everything you tried. It's probably a good thing I don't have a membership - I'd go broke!

Yelp
Truth be told, ive never been to any Costco until I moved to Midwest. It's like a big warehouse where you come in to buy bulk items. I feel that it's same as BJ but maybe bigger. I've been here twice and forgot to check in my second time but, I still love looking around and walking around to get free samples. On Saturday, it's the busiest day of the week. Everyone comes here! I love it! I've never seen much Omaha people in diverse but this place brings everyone! I love everything about this place. From food to clothes and to electronics and to the health department. Great place to buy bulk items and store up before winter comes!

Yelp
"Pedro" was rude and abrupt as my cashier when I went to check out. I can appreciate a dry sense of humor- even sarcasm, but this employee was outright hateful, rude and a poor representation for Costco. He clearly hates his job. He has absolutely ZERO business working with the public. Costco: please address this person. He has made me not want to ever step foot in to your store ever again.

Yelp
Love Costco! And I love that they had the courage to require face masks during a pandemic. As far as I know, they are the ONLY store to enforce this, and I am thankful they do! I will be a customer for life!

Yelp
Where did the PRIME cuts go, I haven't seen any for weeks! I was reduced to buying $50 with of choice cuts and they should have been select. Extremely tough, chewy and tasteless! I will not buy any more beef until the prime is back, I hope this has nothing to do with the export ban being lifted.

Yelp
I don't know how much I actually save with the decent prices, but membership fee. We come here about once a month, and the liquor and produce are really nice. We were members os Sams club for a bit, but Costco has a much better organic section.

Yelp
Blatant consumerism on parade, Costco lives the old adage, "Go Big or Go Home." If you're wanting to buy in bulk, this is definitely the place for you. Though they also have deals on random stuff like patio sets, televisions, watches, jewelry, clothing, etc. They'll let you come in and browse around without a membership, which I still don't have. I'm working on building a support network of friends and family to utilize for Costco visits. Because even though they have lots of options, there aren't lots of things here I use enough to warrant the quantity... except for yogurt and their extensive wine/beer section. They do have some organic, naturally raised options, but you really have to search to find them and consequently run the risk of being distracted by the other flashy packages and free samples.

Yelp
I sent my 17 year old to shop for our family on his way home from school. He loaded up the cart and when he got to the register was told he wasn't able to make the purchase. He must be 18 years old.

Yelp
I usually go to the Costco in Papillon as it's always less hectic but today I happened to be at a store that was close by the West Dodge location. Big mistake. Complete rat race. They moved plants into the frozen foods isles which made it even more difficult to maneuver around. The kicker was at the check out line when I had to ask three different people for a box for my frozen food. The cashier, I believe her name was Marci, said you'll have to ask him...him was the bagger and he was yawning so much I had to wait for him to finish before he would pay attention to me. He was actually nice though. There were boxes everywhere, why did I even have to ask for one? The other Costco in Papillon is so much more accommodating. They always ask how many boxes I need. Two totally different stores. I will not go back to the West Dodge location.

Yelp
Great store. Great selection. Amazing prices. They had lots of fun samples around the store too. The food in the food court was yummy and very inexpensive.

Yelp
This is my main Cosco I shop at in Omaha. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. The parking lot is adequate for the number of people that shop here. The issues I would like to address perhaps management will read this and take into consideration is the following: On busy days like Saturday and Sunday have expressed check out for people with items 12 or less; Please don't have so many food sampling on busy aisles on a Saturday and Sunday, it just causes too much congestion.

Yelp
Sam's What? Great value. Great service. Great prices. Quality of meats, fish, and deli items is exceptional... Buy a Food Saver so you don't waste! Only critique: PRODUCE PEOPLE, please check your produce more frequently. Lots o' rotten veggies in the cooler. Asparagus and spinach was very sad. Note their closing hours. We were meandering around at 6:30 pm on a Saturday, yet they were closed 30 minutes. Oops.
