am submitting an urgent formal complaint regarding a serious and repeated issue with spoiled beef purchased from one of your stores.
I recently bought packaged beef that was spoiled and had a strong foul odor, even though it was still within the expiration date. I returned the product and informed the staff, but unfortunately their response was cold, dismissive, and not professional, as if the situation were not important.
I have four children, and two of them are medically vulnerable. Spoiled meat can cause severe food poisoning, which may become life-threatening, especially for children and individuals with health conditions.
The issue is not the refund — the real concern is the lack of seriousness in handling a clear health and safety risk. Staff did not log an incident report, did not check the storage conditions, and did not take any preventive measures.
I respectfully request the following:
A full investigation into the meat storage, refrigeration, and handling procedures.
A review of staff behavior and training on handling food safety complaints.
Corrective actions to prevent this issue from happening again.
A written response confirming what actions will be taken.
