"I saw that Guy Fieri joined rocker Sammy Hagar for a promotional appearance at a Costco in San Luis Obispo to promote Santo Spirits, the tequila line Hagar founded with Adam Levine." - Paolo Bicchieri

As of 09/19/2025 at 16:00 (PST), a client reported that this particular Costco is currently under heavy construction around Costco Fuel area and the Automotive Service area (which is directly next to the dock door area for delivery drivers. As such, if you use Google Maps to “trip plan” your deliveries, please know that the backend entrance to the dock door area is closed off with permanent-like barriers and the area around the dock door area is very limited in space for full turnarounds with a semi-truck & 53’ trailers. However, a full turn around can be completed, but the delivery driver must be careful with his approach and backing. NOTE: My client informed me that he had to perform a backwards “alley dock” in the nearest driving lane (once he drove towards the dock door area and realized that the turning room was limited) before performing a “pull forward”, just to be able to properly back the 53’ trailer in the dock dock area with an additional driver-side “alley dock”. Aside from that, the receiving personnel was professional and the live unload lasted about 30-45 minutes (once the live unload started).

What happened to the Kirkland facial tissue! was 3 thin sheets of tissues combined from Issaquah, WA - now with new boxes I bought which say Seattle, WA on bottom are only 2 thin sheets. Too thin, the older ones that I have and have bought for years were great. This product used to be 5 stars....no longer. Go back to the original tissues they were the best!!! Why I went to Costco to buy! Disappointed now. :(

I cannot recommend Costco as a primary grocery store. Costco does not carry many non-dairy or non-meat protein items. Vegans have very few options here. Almond milk creamer should be a staple item, but is not carried on a regular basis. I find their vegetables priced higher than other competitive grocery stores. Costco also has electric vehicle charging at a premium of $0.61 per kWh, which is not a discounted price. It's a shame to pay a yearly membership fee to purchase so few items per month. The value is just not there. My family will consider NOT renewing our membership next year.

I love Costco. Great quality and good prices. I always find more items than on my list but it’s fun. Also I appreciate they haven’t bent the knee to changing their DEI policies

Came for gasoline. Line is easily designed. Flow is good, but people seems slow. Didn't look like long lines, but the wait felt long. The checkout line was the shortest i have ever seen. May be because its a Tuesday. Food court was great and fast.

Maybe others have found a way to stop being bombarded with ads from Costco but since I was unable to do so I deleted the app. During my search to learn how to stop the ads instructions were provided on how to locate the unsubscribe option (by clicking on any ad, scrolling to the bottom and clicking on “Unsubscribe”). However upon accessing a few ads I never found that option, hence the decision to delete the app. Also, using their “ Chat” service got me nowhere. It appears primarily designed for addressing order issues.

They do not honor price misprints/changes without a huge amount of hassle. The supervisor Kayla spent over half an hour BSing me about honoring a $100 price change before ultimately faking not knowing what a SKU or a SSN are. You didn't work retail "since 2009" without knowing what a product number is.
