"Costco, too, has raised hourly base pay by $2. The policy was set to end mid-May, but an employee memo posted to Reddit suggests it's been extended through the end of the month." - Rachel Sugar

The prices are fine, along with selections, but what I love about this location is it isn't congested like the South. I also appreciate the produce and meat selection. And look at these electronic deals!

Love me some Costco no matter the city state or country. This one is not different. I highly recommend the premium membership and credit card. Pays for itself several times over for gas alone. Always crazy cheap high quality products that get rotated out. Always $1.50 hotdog. Pizza is a must for feeding a crowd, especially fast and cheap.

Went to Costco for Christmas food. Shopping tonight. Upon entering they scanned my card and said I needed to renew. Went to the help center and renewed our membership. Began shopping and ask for help finding a liquid creamer and was directed to a manger. This man was so rude when we ask if they carried liquid creamer he shook his head no and kept walking. To busy to stop and kindly talk to us, mind you nobody was in the store! Then we decided to leave at that point and on our way to register husband ask “where is your Christmas deco?” A team leader said “sold out! We have summer stuff out now” wow! This place has gone downhill! They have deleted items that were hot selling to go to cheapest tasteless foods. There is none of the things we use to go for anymore. After checking out what little we got we went to the register and ask if we could cancel our membership, the girl got her manager and she said no problem. She said she was sorry people were so rude to us and she refunded our membership. I’m sorry but we will only be going to Sam’s from now on. This is a huge disappointment since we have been members for more than 15 years.

Everyone knows Costco has good prices, usually good product and clean stores. This review is about Denise at the customer service desk. I went in for a return, and the computer was giving her issue with processing it. She had tenacity and wouldn't stop trying until she figured out what the issue was and was able to process the return. Thanks for the help Denise.

Ekkk what can I say now you have to scan to get in 🤦 scan to check out. All because people are sharing membership I get it people can't afford things and what good food. I just hate the fact that we have to scan scan in scan again pretty soon going to have to show our passports lol 😂. Still deciding if I'm going to renew membership or not

Do not purchase warranty products from Costco if you are thinking about canceling your membership. Costco DOES NOT warranty the products they sell you if you cancel your membership and state the warranty is only good for members. I purchased a battery and decided it wasn't worth renewing my membership. Found that the battery I purchased was bad by a mechanic and took it back in for warranty and was told I would have to purchase a membership to replace the battery under warranty. I called in to speak with a manager and was advised the same thing and when I refused to renew my membership was told "Good talking with you" and the call was disconnected. Just know if you purchase Tires, batteries, or anything else with long term warranties you will HAVE to keep your membership for them to allow you to use the warranty.

Received a gift card last year during the holiday and didn't have a chance to use it at all this year until today. Greeter asked me to scan my membership and I advised her that I don't have a membership and I am here to just to use my gift card I received. She gave me the dirtiest and nastiest look as if I didn't belong there. I was so applaud and didn't even had time or a chance to address her; good thing I was sligthy distracted and went on my way. My afterthought about that encountered made me realize I would never open a membership here. I will just stick to Sam's Club since I have never experienced this at Sam's. Maybe she was having a rough day but still, be professional if you are the first person that greets the customers. You are the face of the business and if that is how you greet people then, obviously my business is not needed there.

I’ve been a Costco Member for 7 years and I understand their policy on Membership cards but their treatment at the door was excessive and rude. I scanned my card and was immediately snarled at by a supervisor who demanded I immediately go over to guest services to get my picture on my card before I could even say a word of hello. It wasn’t a polite ask it was a command like she was power tripping cop or as if I was one of the employees she was mad at. The company policy on their website states that if I don’t have a picture to show my gov issued ID which I absolutely have NO ISSUE showing and have showed in the past. The lady that snarled at me didn’t want to see my photo ID and demanded that I add my picture immediately and then ignored me. The reason I don’t want my picture taken on Costco’s system is because they have had very real cyber breaches over the past years involving data stolen. People have had their identities stolen right out for Costco’s database. I have gone 7 years as a member (and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars) without having my photo taken and every time I’m asked I give my drivers license without a gripe. I simply will not consent to having my photo on a database that cannot be guaranteed secure. I have no issue with the scanners themselves but the way I was treated was very rude. If Costco cannot guarantee the privacy of my data then they have no business collecting people’s pictures. I will be cancelling my Executive Membership when it is up. 7 Years, over $200,000 spent during its lifetime.
