Visited Côte St Luc BBQ restaurant with my family. We ordered Grande Chicken poutine. It was yummy, delicious and super heavy. We had to wait for 20 mins as it was freshly made, which I would say worth waiting for it. Staffs were very friendly, courteous and the service was superb. Nice ambiance of the restaurant and it gives retro nostalgic feeling back from 80s & 90s. We enjoyed our dinner last night and would recommend anyone to visit this place. Will come soon. Merci beaucoup.

It's my favorite BBQ chicken spot. Best in town. The atmosphere brings you back to the 60's with a modern twist (they just made some changes). The chicken, sauce, and fries are as good as it gets. The coleslaw is too bland for my liking. Salt, pepper, and extra vinegar help lift the flavor. Right now, June 2024, they have a 2 for $30 dinner. What a great deal. Parking can be tricky but can be found.

We ate in the restaurant tonight instead of take out. Great idea We chose from the 2 meals for 30$ special. My wife ordered the chicken breast meal and I had the chicken poutine The meals were served with a soft drink or coffee and had the choice of soup or coleslaw. We both had the soup . Wow !!It was great , full of meat , celery and carrots. It was tasty, hot and delicious. A meal in itself. The poutine was great , incredible amount of chicken breast and cheese. The chicken breast meal was good, meat was not dry at all and flavour full Service was polite and friendly. Great value !

Ordered some chicken wings , a salade there , as seen on pictures . I dont like giving people bad notes . Guess I shouldve go for the chicken on charcoal or something. Lessons are hard learned ! Good presentation tho everything was clean when received . The fries needs work guys

Just ordered maybe an hour ago. One of the worst food delivery I ever had. Nowdays, most places put the cheese on the side for poutine. Well. Not them. So I had a soup. My partner had the burgers. The chicken was DRY and inedible and it's their specialty? The fries that came with the burgers were wet and oily. He had to use the ingredients to make a new edible meal !! Told Uber how awful it was. It takes me a lot to say food tastes disgusting. This really really did.

I recently visited this restaurant to pick up food, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. As someone from out of town who does not speak French fluently, I felt unwelcome and poorly treated by the staff. Their behavior was dismissive and made it very clear that I was not valued as a customer. It was disheartening to encounter such an unwelcoming and discriminatory attitude, especially in a service-oriented environment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to visitors who are not local or who do not speak French. I hope the management takes steps to ensure a more inclusive and respectful atmosphere for all guests in the future.

I had a craving for a hot chicken sandwich and CSLBBQ did not disappoint! It arrived sauce on the side, so it didn't get soggy... I really appreciated that. Delicious bread, peas, chicken and sauce. I can't stop thinking about it.

On one of these colder fall evenings suddenly my husband has an itch for poutine. So... off to côte St-Luc BBQ to try and get a homey dish to fill our tummies. First, ordering was fairly easy. Called, they asked a bunch of questions and we placed our order to pick up at a certain time. Service was friendly, with people being quite conscientious about covid precautions since there's so little counter space and still quite a few people working in the kitchen. It's a bit of a maze as you go in one at a time, pay at the counter, then move to the right hand in the next room with other customers (if there are any) in the booth section. Then pick up your meal, and exit from that side. Btw, it smells sooo so good when you get in. Just roasted CHICKEN hitting you in the face from every side. Heavenly. We ordered one regular sized chicken poutine. It was... alright. This is a very heavy poutine, very generous with cheese, sauce, pieces of chicken, and fries. It's got a strong taste of rotisserie chicken so it ain't subtle. It's a more watery gravy so may not be for everyone and fries were thicker than usual but not quite steak fries. Fries were soggy though that's probably because of us having to walk it back home. Overall, my husband loves this poutine, and I think it's a bit too heavy and forgettable for me. Tho when you're craving a chicken dinner and a poutine and can't make up your mind, this will itch that scratch a plenty. At $15 a poutine, this is pretty high in my opinion. It's pretty packed so we shared one and we were fairly full. We will most likely be back! Keep supporting local small businesses!

Cote St Luc BBQ is THE best!! M'y kids have ordered from there almost every Friday! Chicken is really tasty Fries are incredible! Staff super friendly and the best part they donate to the homeless population and it's always so well received!! Thankful for their restaurant and believe it's important to support local and support those who support community

Best chicken! Good size bird too! Fries great. The gravy is next level. This is nothing like St-Huber. Which tastes processed and their fries taste like frozen fries. Worst of all is St-H's gravy. Everything at CSL BBQ tastes fresh. Their chicken soup tastes homemade and in chunky with noodles. This place is pure comfort food.

The ultimate place for rotisserie chicken. Great staff and service makes the experience even better. Came to watch a hockey game with friends and it was amazing. Can't beat this place

After one week in quarantine we ordered from here. What a pleasure. Comfort food at its best. Soup, fries, whole chicken. Delivery on time. Great to have you back after the fire .well done.

First time here for my Mom's 92nd Birthday. Great food great service and everything fresh.

Almost as good as Chalet BBQ. Great takeout but delivery tends to take forever. Restaurant is pleasant, clean and waitresses have been there forever and know everything about the menu. They aren't reinventing the wheel so don't search the menu for anything new or innovative but they make a mean quarter leg dinner.

What can I say, they do chicken good! I've seen some negative reviews but I'm a big fan of managed expectations. This is not fancy, it's not renovated, it's not 5 star service. However, it's good service and really good food. I really think this place delivers on giving you what you pay for. The chicken is hands down the best in the city, always perfectly cooked. The chicken soup is phenomenal....and you can't beat the price. You get a great delicious meal for a pretty small amount of $$ considering what you get. And the fries are soooooooo good!

The food was not great. Mac n cheese tasted like kd lol. Poutine was fine same with the chicken plate. Service abt akward to be honest..n the dirty glass what a topping on the cake lol.. ps this place is filled with old people and babies.

So my fiancé and I haven't eaten at restaurants in two months because of covid. We chose to break our streak by ordering takeout here. We live nearby so we picked up a half chicken and poutine. What a disappointment. Nowhere near as good as Ma Poule Moullée. Not even in the same ballpark. The chicken was dry and the poutine was somehow bland and soggy. $23 for a stomach ache.

Best BBQ chicken in town. Cheap and really quick. I don't know how they do it, but I've never had as good rotisserie chicken anywhere, anytime. The fries - one of the best in the city. Golden brown. Amazing with ketchup or with their amazing sauce or even in a poutine. (I'm getting hungry just thinking about it) Want a quick and awesome meal, go there!

Rotisserie chicken as good as it gets. We went in the take out entry door, which was a bit sketchy, and the inside decor is straight out of the greasy spoon '50s, but that is meant to invite you not deter you. Ordered the half chicken so I wouldn't have to choose between white and dark (ha). The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal. I had coconut cream pie for dessert, the piece was small but just the size for after a huge meal. It was very good value for money. We will certainly go back again.

The Second best BBQ chicken in town still deserves a 5 star rating in my books. Although I'm a bigger fan of Chalet BBQ and still a huge fan of Cote-St-Luc BBQ as well. This place has been here since the early 50's and it still packs them in. Like I mentioned in my review of Chalet BBQ, I'm sure they have a menu and I'm sure they have plenty of great things on it but who needs it, just order the double leg dinner with fries and coleslaw and you're good to go

Amazing food + affordable (great for when you're ordering for many individuals). Sauce is superb. Always a dependable choice when you need a good meal...fast.

Rude rude customer service!!!! When I called everyone had attitude and put me on hold for long periods of time just to say I'm sorry one hour wait time complete ridiculousness will never call again!!!

I usually order the family chicken pack and it's good, they give a good serving of fries and gravy. They tend to forget the sour cream when ordering baked potatoes and unfortunately their chicken wrap is really gross and soggy (ate half of it and gave up)

Just ordered from Cote St Luc BBQ have been ordering there for a long time an all was extremely good. This time however I ordered the family meal wich is a breast a thigh fries gravy coleslaw ect ect. It used to all come in a platter and was hot and delicious. This time however it came in a bag that you would get from a Mac Donald's A thigh in a bag, a breast in a bag two fries in bags and sauce in a cup, thrown in was two hamburger buns. All COLD ...I phoned to complain and was told to " have a nice day anyhow" This order with my wife's club sandwich came to $60.00 with the tip. I hate being made a fool of so There will not be a next time.

The place has been renovated.... but the tables are too close together. The only semblance of privacy during the meal are the booths against the wall. If you are just two people...you will be seated at a table for 4...and will then become inadvertent dining companions with 2 other diners. On our visit.... at 5:30 PM...the chicken was dry...as if it had been prepared hours in advance...and then sat around waiting for us. The sauce was waaay thinner than it used to be. This could be from not stirring the sauce before ladling it ...and it is thicker lower in the pot. The fries were crispy and quite good. If they could perhaps eliminate the 8 additional seats in the dining room...by removing some tables...that would be a very good idea. I liked the restaurant better before the fire. The service is still friendly and prompt though.

This is not a fancy restaurant it's a good old fashioned no frills BBQ chicken joint ! I pass by it all the time and the location itself always looks clean and well maintained. However, on my end I've only ever had delivery as opposed to eating there in person. While I did notice that even though they are closeby the delivery time tends to be longer than that of other restaurants but still within reason. That being said they always get the order right and the chicken is always juicy/tasty and well prepared! I usually order their club sandwich which comes with a great pickle, a generous serving of perfectly cooked/salted fries and really good cole slaw. The other nice thing is they include a serving of gravy on the side which is the cherry on the Sunday because who doesn't love gravy ?? I've also tried their hot chicken sandwich which smartly provides gravy and peas on the side to pour them yourself to make sure the dish doesn't get too soggy during delivery. I was also pleasantly surprised when I tried one of their desserts (apple pie cheesecake) , it was sooooo soooo good ! One last point worth mentioning is pricing -the prices are very good especially considering the generous portions and yummy food ! I will definitely eat from here again , cote saint luc BBQ chicken poutine .... I'm coming for you next ! Lol

My delivery of quarter chicken leg and two leg meals came with a generous side of fries, some gravy, and an added grilled vegetables order. Overall nothing stood out, it reminded me of Swiss Chalet, and nothing made me think to remember the place for future visits or orders. The quality was as expected for the price point.

Why does the line cook who handles the foodnot use gloves!?!? Is this not illegal? For delivery, wait times are ridiculous - even in winter, 1 HOUR to receive food that is a 10min drive away, and arrives cold. NOT WORTH IT.

Their chicken is usually excellent, with tasty crispy skin. On rare occasions it can be slightly dry. They make the best french fries I've had anywhere and a very nice chicken soup as well. Most recently, I ordered the crispy chicken salad, which was good, but not as exciting as their roast chicken and fries. The only bad thing I've had from them are the mac'n'cheese bites. Service is generally good, too. I've ordered from them and delivery times vary. If you ask them how long it will take, their estimate is usually good to within 5 minutes.

Food was good when I ordered to pick up, but having to wait in the cramped take-out area while some fat old fry cook rips apart the chicken with his bare hands and places everything (chicken pieces, fries, roll) in the take-out container with these same hands - no gloves - was the most horrifying thing and didn't do much for the appetite. I tried the sit-down restaurant once, but after waiting 15 minutes to be seated in a 1/3-empty restaurant and finally telling one of the frazzled "waitresses" that I was seating myself, we waited another 10 minutes without water or menus or even a clean table. Glancing over at our fellow "customers," I saw that most other people had finished thir meals and were waiting for their cheques so they could leave. We decided not to stay (coulda' been 3 hours, for all we know) and instead went to the vastly superior Chalet Barbecue on Sherbrooke near Girouard.

I agree with the first two reviews on this restaurant. The rotisserie chicken falls off the bone and is jam packed with flavor on the outside and juicy in the inside. The fries although more on the soft side are delicious. The atmosphere is classic diner style but must say the service differentiates them. Our waitress Karina had to be one of the friendliest people I've met, which added to the whole feeling of ease about the place allowing you to that much deeply enjoy the rich flavor of your chicken dinner.

Don't ever deliver food here. I ordered for myself only but it took more than an hour. It was just a dinner.. not like a family meal. Never ordering here again...

Lunch deals are unbeatable.....1/2 chicken, club sandwich, hot chicken sandwich (white meat) are my faves. Love those greasy fries....throw in slaw and a soda (all included) and we have one of my favorite lunch joints in Montreal.
