The Best Oyster Restaurants in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"This sporty oyster bar (or is it an oyster sports bar?) boasts a good location on the edge of the French Quarter, close to hotels and Canal Street. Coterie, which also has a location in Long Beach, MS, offers Gulf oysters raw and chargrilled, Rockefeller and Bienville. Blackened redfish, fried seafood platters, and gumbo round out the menu. Open for breakfast too." - Beth D’Addono

If I could I would give this place 6/5!! It was so delicious!!! My oysters were off the chain, blackned Gator made me levitate from how good they were and my shrimp scampi was perfection. Our waitress Erica was AMAZING!! She recommended other areas to check out in New Orleans and she was very sweet and had great energy and such a wonderful personality! She was great. When I come back I hope to have her as my waitress again! I will definitely be back for more delicious food when I come back to New Orleans! This restaurant definitely left a great impression on me and my stomach!

Google
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Food was delish, the atmosphere was very nice which made it a cool and refreshing respite. The highlight of the experience was Caty, our server. Who went above and beyond to give us the best experience ever. Would return again!!!!

Google
My second time here in the last 6 months. Great restaurant with a good staff. Located nicely in the Quarter not far from Canal St or other common thoroughfares. Today I sat at the bar for a quick lunch before heading out of town. I had a wonderful dish—Taste of Acadiana. This provided a sampling of etouffee, gumbo and jambalaya. Very tasty and well presented. Staff was excellent, food delightful, I’ll definitely be back.

Google
I ate lunch here with a group of 6. Our server Katie was the only server working at the time and the restaurant was decently busy. Even though she was the only one taking orders and delivering food she could not have been nicer and never made us feel rushed. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the alligator bites and crab cake pasta and both were great. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Google
Amazing! We ate here twice in our short stay. Once for lunch on our way in and dinner on the way out. The 1/2 Dozen Chargrilled Oysters are out of this world. We ordered them both times. We also had the Boudin Balls, Crab Au Gratin, Taste of Acadiana and the Crab Cake Pasta. No complaints at all. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. We will be back.

Google
Very delicious food and atmosphere. Our waiter was very friendly and served out food quickly. This restaurant captures Louisana perfectly. We hope to return soon.

Google
Talk about great food, service and atmosphere. We got the shrimp and grits and the crab cake Benedict. Both top notch. Coffee was excellent. A local coffee brand. Smooth tasting. Our server Caty S was warm and welcoming. Kept checking in on us.

Google
Great oysters and gumbo. The chargrilled oysters were our favorite, served with toasted baguette. The kitchen closes at 930, but the bar will stay open a bit longer. The happy hour deals looked good.

Yelp
10/10 reccomend! We waited about twenty minutes for a table. The hostess was funny. Our server was kind and did her job well. The manager was active in the dining room cleaning tables, filling drinks and getting tables sat. All additional condiments and refills were brought immediately. The chicken sandwich was juicy, crispy and seasoned well. We asked for no Cajun sauce and honey mustard on the side. The honey mustard is made in house and is delicious! The red beans were topped with rice and were the perfect level of spicy. My husband loved the 2+2+2 oysters which was just a variety plate. I ordered the Parmesan's crusted grouper with grits and sprouts. YUMMMMMYYYY. It was delicious and something I would order again and again if I lived here. The bathrooms are clean sufficiently supplied. The vibe is clean and cozy with warm lighting. Perfect for family or a date night. The food is good and it's certainly worth a visit.

Yelp
This had a small bar upon entering and a dining area in the back with brick walls. They served all meals as well. The staff was friendly, and the food came out extremely fast too. I split the BLT as well as the biscuits and gravy. The BLT consisted of fried green tomatoes, fresh red tomato, Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, and mayo on Texas toast. This was not too bad. I would have preferred a little more bacon and mayo present. I did enjoy the fresh and fried tomatoes present. That was certainly different. There was also a side of breakfast potatoes that did not have much seasoning but were crispy. The biscuits came with a crawfish gravy along andouille sausage I believe. This was definitely the better of the two. The biscuits were loaded with gravy, maybe a little too much as the biscuits were too soft and they were not tasted too much. It was alright though because how good the gravy was. The Cajun flavor along with the andouille sausage taste really was tasty. I would have preferred the biscuits on the side if that much gravy was provided. Will I go back? Yeah.

Yelp
We stopped in for brunch given the wait at a nearby restaurant. We got seated right away and the service was outstanding. I had the boudin benedict. OMG it was fabulous. Poached egg over boudin over a biscuit and topped with a remoulade sauce. it comes with fried potatoes which were really good. I would definitely return for a quick brunch.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to eat when we come to visit!! Ambience can be either casual or a little more dressy. Service is great. Food is so good!! The red beans are the closest to homemade that I have had in New Orleans. Great kid's menu! Chargrilled oysters yummy here.

Yelp
During our time in New Orleans, my husband and I visited Coterie Restaurant & Oyster Bar, and it was an amazing experience! Located in the heart of the French Quarter, this spot combines a relaxed atmosphere with authentic New Orleans cuisine, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. The fact that the restaurant was just down the block from our hotel made it even more convenient to enjoy dinner nearby after a long day of exploring. Atmosphere The restaurant has a cozy yet lively vibe, perfect for a casual meal or a night out. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. What We Ordered We started with the Cajun Eggrolls, which were absolutely delicious! These crispy fried eggrolls were stuffed with Louisiana crawfish, smoked andouille sausage, corn, and cheddar jack cheese, served with a flavorful Cajun dipping sauce. They were a perfect appetizer to kick off the meal. For our entrées: * I ordered the Taste of New Orleans, which included three of the city's most iconic dishes: red beans & rice, chicken & sausage jambalaya, and seafood gumbo. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, and it was a fantastic way to sample a variety of New Orleans cuisine in one plate. * My husband had the Crab Cake Pasta, which featured a crawfish and andouille cream sauce tossed with linguine pasta and topped with their house-made crab cake. He loved how rich and flavorful it was. For dessert, we shared the Banana Foster Cheesecake, a decadent cheesecake topped with banana slices sautéed in a caramel sauce and baked in a graham cracker crust. My husband loved it so much that before we left New Orleans, he made sure to grab another piece to take home! Service The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to give us recommendations. Pro Tip If you're planning to visit during peak hours, it's a good idea to make a reservation or arrive early to secure a spot. Final Thoughts Coterie Restaurant & Oyster Bar is a fantastic spot to enjoy classic New Orleans dishes and fresh seafood. The food, atmosphere, and service all exceeded our expectations. We left with full, happy stomachs and a piece of cheesecake for the road, and we would absolutely return the next time we're in town.

Yelp
Place was pretty empty for lunch but it was a very nice restaurant. The waitress we had (I believe her name was Red) was so friendly and sweet she really took good care of us. We chose to do a simple lunch and got a fried chicken sandwich and a burger. Wasn't anything too special about it but the bread and butter pickles were really good.

Yelp
Easy five star review! The food was great but the service okay. The food: the best part was the food! The boudain balls were simply amazing. The Cajun egg rolls were different but decent. The main dish was great. Loved the chicken and sausage gumbo. The red beans and rice were good too. The jambalaya was decent. The bread pudding was simply amazing. The service was a bit lacking but since the food was so good, I'm keeping the 5 star rating. Top notch food.

Yelp
Breakfast was really tasty. It was a little expensive for what we got. Service was dicey, but everyone was nice and trying. It was just really crowded so they seemed a little flustered.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here to have an authentic NOLA lunch and while foods were delicious, I wasn't particularly happy about the seating choices. We were told most of them were "reserved " but for 60 minutes no one came and we were seated at the bar :( The lady at the bar was very nice and attentive. Love her
google avatar

Yelp
The service was horrible. We sat there for over an hour after ordering watching everyone who sat down after us and ordered after us get their food before us. The food was okay. The oysters were delicious but everything else was extremely salty and the food came out cold.
google avatar

FunnyGiraffe172

Yelp
I enjoyed eating at Coterie. The food was wonderful, and our server was extremely friendly. He had great suggestions to suit our desires. The restaurant is located on a main street, but it doesn't get too busy. It's a fantastic place to try some authentic Cajun food!
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
I am disappointed to say the seafood gumbo was bland except for the overly salty taste. The shrimp were small and the texture gave off vibes of being recently thawed. Crab meat was absent from the soup. Do not waste your time or money visiting Coterie.

Tracey R.

Yelp
I split a large breakfast with my daughter and it was more than enough food. There weren't many people there when I arrived but it started to fill up eventually. The food was good. Bacon was well done and the good kind not the cheap bacon. The best part was the service. We had a waitress named Caty and she greeted us right away. She was fast and brought me things I needed before I asked. I could hear her strike up friendly conversations with everyone and she really seemed to like her job. We would definitely return while in town.

Yelp
Recommended by our hotel concierge as a non tourist trap It was a bar and restaurant specializing in oysters and New Orleans typical fare. I ordered the fried seafood platter with shrimp, oysters and catfish. It was good. Plate was filled with a ton of french fries. Way too many to make platter look big. It was nice for a small lunch after flying in. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Service was ok. They push the boudin balls. Look good but waiting to eat with others.

Yelp
Visited Coterie after a long night in New Orleans. The portions were big and tasted delicious. We were sat immediately after walking in, other places had lines and less seating room. It's right in the middle of the French Quarter so you can walk anywhere when you're done. Great service and hospitality.

Yelp
We came here on the recommendation of our swamp tour guide. So glad we did! We were greeted by the friendly hostess and sat right away. The server was also friendly and attentive and got us going with drinks immediately. We had a hard time deciding what to order because it all looked so good. But after a few days of lots of fried food on vacation, I think my family was craving a little ruffage. Or as my dad always called it- rabbit food. We all got salads, plus chargrilled oysters and gumbo. I don't think I've ever seen my kids eat so much while we were out at a restaurant before. They LOVED the salad (their ranch is homemade and the chopped veggies were so flavorful), fried shrimp and oysters. Even though the shrimp was fried, it was super light and tasty. I tried a bite of the gumbo and felt like it was extremely salty but my husband thought it was okay. We were super happy with this recommendation and highly recommend a stop in!

Yelp
Very unique experience! Pleasant for the most part. The initial greeting was kinda weird but the overall atmosphere turned into to be great and our server was wonderful. It started off with me and my table mate, but we're here for a wedding and the bride and bridal party joined us. They pulled chairs up and if was no issues at all. For food, since we were drinking we decided to keep it light and order appetizers only. We got the Boudin balls, egg rolls, and oysters Rockefeller. Everything was the bomb! Definitely plan on coming back if time allows.

Yelp
This place is a casual dining. We had a reservation at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and was seated upon checking in. Our server, Erica was very professional, friendly, and polite. She was attentive to our needs - drink refills, remove empty plates, and checking in. The food was delicious. This was my second time having oysters and I LOVE IT!!! The first time, I had raw oysters in Minnesota, which was horrible. I highly recommend the 2+2+2 oysters. You get to sample each flavors. It was well done. The shell was hot to hold. Bienville, rockafeller, and chargrilled were flavorful. My husband ordered the Firecracker po boy, which the bread seems very light and airy. I had the crab cake pasta, which also had adouille sausage. Overall, I would eat here again.
google avatar

Liz W.

Yelp
Our friend made reservations for 2:30pm on a Saturday. There were 8 of us. When we walked in we were sat right away. It's wasn't very busy during the time we were there. The ambiance is nice - relaxed: not overly casual or fancy. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Nola Burger. My salad was good but I had to pick out a handful of pieces of wilted dark brown red lettuce that was starting to get slimy. My husband liked his burger - the sirloin on top he said was meh - I had a bite and liked it - it was like shredded pot roast put on top of a burger. Our friend ordered the Extra Napkins Po Boy - it looked so good! I didn't get a photo but he said he'd order it again and really liked the ham. When we got the bill we were a little confused about the charge for "1 1/2 Beers" between my husband and our other friend who was charged the same... but we didn't say anything and just paid anyway. All in all a decent meal.

Yelp
Delicious chargrilled oysters here, and red snapper! Fun little place, which felt like wasn't that crowded actually when we sat down but we still had to wait ~20 minutes before we were seated (4 people on a Friday night at 7:30 pm). Service was spotty (our group of 4 were seated in the back area, alongside one big party of 10+). Overall, good, wouldn't break my back to eat here but a solid option in the French Quarter for good NOLA style food.

Yelp
Visited from Orlando on a girls trip. One of our girls had come to this restaurant previously and raved on how good they were so we came in for happy hour. Since it was early in the day, the restaurant wasn't super packed, which allowed us to find space at the bar for us to sit down and grabs a bite & a drink. Our bartender was super sweet & kept engaging with us, even took a shot of their Bloody Mary infused vodka with us - not for me... lol While I'm not much of a sea food girly, I ordered the garlic shrimp roll to munch on, the girls ordered the firecracker, shrimp, and raw oysters. We also placed orders for hurricanes and gator bites for drinks. Since we were the only ones sitting at the bar, drinks were super fast to serve and so was our food. The Garlic shrimp roll was great! The sauce made the bread too soggy, but overall was very tasty. The firecracker shrimp had a kick, was really good, and the girls LOVED the raw oysters. We went twice while we were in town, the staff were great, the restaurant was always clean, and welcoming, and food never disappointed. Would definitely return again when I'm back in town.

Yelp
Tried this place the first night we were in New Orleans. Mostly because we wanted something good, easy, and fast since this place was at our hotel. Food was good and it was fast once you were seated. Everyone was friendly here. They were just understaffed and it took a long time to get seated. It was a bit hard to tell who was the hostess. Once we sat down, it was a bit before getting drinks. However, once we ordered, our food arrived fairly quickly. We would have ordered drinks from the bar but feared that would have taken too long. Fried pickles were delicious! I don't normally like fried pickles breaded the way they do it but the seasoning on the breading was too good to pass. Shrimp platter was huge and I couldn't finish it. I could have definitely shared it with someone else.
google avatar

Geoff J.

Yelp
For a place near a tourist hot spot this was actually better than expected. The shrimp dishes were excellent as were the alligator bites. The club sandwich was very good but almost too much for one person. Service was friendly, value was good and the A/C worked great in the nice looking large dining area. Full bar though we only ordered one beer at lunch. Worth a try if you are near the Aquarium area.
google avatar

Kimberlyn Q.

Yelp
Pretty good raw oysters, although they were pretty big! In addition to traditional southern dishes, they also have basic burgers, sandwiches, and brunch options if you needed a break from the creole/cajun scene after days of stuffing yourself. Service was fine, and the ambiance felt more casual, which I feel is good for families.

Wendy G.

Yelp
Went this morning for breakfast, sign says doors open at 8, the staff was there, but just inside talking. We left at 8:15, if they had issues all they needed to do was come out and say there's an issue. Sadly, the food is good, but if you sign says 8, then you open at 8.
google avatar

Jordyn M.

Yelp
A server from Ruby Slipper actually referred us here and we are thankful for that because we came for lunch the following day and we're happy with that decision. We sat at the bar to partake in the happy hour specials and ordered W 2 hurricanes, a half dozen raw oysters, the Cajun egg rolls and the crab cake pasta. By the end of the meal I could eat anymore even if I tried, though was already speculating returning just to order dessert later that evening (I didn't due to time but .... I was tempted) The egg rolls came with this sauce I want to serve with everything, pasta was yummy and enjoyed the flavors of the crab cake, I just wish the crab cake was a bit bigger given how much pasta I received. Our bartender Vanessa was actually from the city we came from so it was nice to talk to her and she even reached out to her contacts to inquire about ghost tours since we had mentioned we were interested. I enjoyed the food and service. I'd go again.

Yelp
We just made it in time for the Happy Hour!! Got here at 5:32pm and happy hour ends at 6pm, which starts from 3pm-6pm. Must sit by the bar in order to get the happy hour. We ordered Strawberry Lager and Light Lager. Both were very delicious. Great service from our bartender. She was very attentive and observant on each and every customer that sat at the oyster bar. We ordered two dozen of oysters, one dozen for my husband and dozen for myself. We also ordered the Boudin Balls and bartender said the boudin balls is made out of sausage. Which was very tasty and flavorful. Oyster bar seats about 18-20 people. Everyone was ordering the oysters because they are $14 per dozen or $7 half dozen. $3 beer on tap. $7 for the Bloody Mary. $7 boudin balls. There was shrimp balls and firecracker shrimp on the happy hour menu but we didn't order that to know the pricing, I believe it was $9 or $10. We definitely came back the second time! Bartender remember us. We didn't know they have a second bar to the back of the restaurant and it seats about 8-9 people at this bar. The bartender made room for my husband, otherwise he would be standing. This time we ordered one and the half dozen oysters and half dozen of the chargrilled oysters (not on the happy hour menu, its market price). We ordered the Bloody Mary and it was very good!!! It might be the best Bloody Mary I had! A must visit in New Orleans for the happy hour oysters!

Yelp
After reading the reviews, I visited Coterie on my own because I was hungry and didn't want to wait. I wasn't disappointed! The couple sitting at the bar next to me came back a second time having already visited yesterday. The guy shucking oysters recognized them and paid them special attention. The lady bar tender was very busy and still did her best to make sure everyone got what they wanted. My food was delicious! Oysters were so fresh! Shrimp and grits portion size was generous, which made the cost ($25) seem more negligible! Atmosphere is laid back. People are friendly- from customers to staff. Would visit again!

Yelp
Nice setting with TVs tuned to sports. Service was okay. Food was tasty New Orleans fare. I got the sampler (Acadiana Skillet) with crawfish étouffée, jambalaya and gumbo. The fried pickles were fantastic. We were completely stuffed after this lunch.
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
Everything was so great!!! Our bartender Iimane was amazing, such great customer service. The food was delicious. The 2x2x2 oysters - to die for. Blackened gator...yes please. Boudin balls - so yummy. Everything was delicious and it was such a welcoming spot. Highly recommend.

Mitch A.

Yelp
Great food , great service , large portions , friend and I shared the mixed oyster and fried shrimp platter and we were not able to eat it all. Great locations close to everything.

Yelp
Nice restaurant & the bar area is cool. The hostess was nice & our female bartender was great! Service was excellent. Bathroom was clean. She adjusted my drinks to my taste & gave recommendations on the menu. The drinks & food were moderately priced. I'd definitely go back & recommend it.

Yelp
Stopped here because me and my husband saw a review from one of our favorite vloggers on YouTube. I was skeptical to come here since everybody says to go to all of the more well known places around the French quarter, but I'm glad we came here! Everything was so good. The food was great, we had a garlic shrimp roll for the appetizer, and for our entrees, I had shrimp and grits and my husband had the taste of New Orleans which included seafood gumbo, red beans and rice, and a chicken sausage jambalaya ..Everything was 10/10. The ambiance was beautiful, nice and quiet, low music, and dim lighting. We had dessert too, we opted for the bread pudding which was delicious as well and served warm. Our waiter, Joseph was excellent. I would definitely recommend to go here!
google avatar

Sid D.

Yelp
This place was busy and crowded by the wait was worth! Super lively place with large two separate dinning rooms and two different bars. Quick service and staff were super friendly. They took our order in moderate time and brought food periodically. We got: Raw oysters: super delicious, fresh, and large size! Thumbs up of oyster! Oyster shooter: If you know what it is and if you like it you gonna like it. Tangy, spicy, sour, with oyster in it! Shrimps and Grits: Ah this dish was amazing! Right amount of shrimp and sauce.. WOW. Absolutely recommend this dish. Roast Beef Debris Po Boy: Roast beef was perfectly cooked and sauce was well balanced. Great sandwich. This place is great try if you are in town. Highly recommend.

Yelp
If you're ever in New Orleans, you have to stop at Coterie Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Great food any time of day! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have generous portions. We had dinner there and returned the next day for breakfast. Our server, Britney, was helpful and gave us great places to visit. It's always a pleasure to get good visitor's information from someone who lives there.

Destiny H.

Yelp
Best chicken and andouille gumbo in the French Quarter. Roux was very dark and gumbo was delicious. I had a small taste of the seafood gumbo and it was good but not as good as the chicken andouille gumbo and I love seafood. Friendly staff, very affordable, casual place, give it a try and you'll love it!. We've been to NOLA a lot of times and never tried Coterie before. It was super close to where we were staying. We had Boudin balls as app ( very good), I had a bowl of gumbo ( ask for crackers), my dining partner had the fried catfish served w homemade mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts ( all very good). You can switch out the sides if you want.

Yelp
Whenever we're in New Orleans Coterie is always one of our go to places! We initially went on Sunday, May 26th but got no service. Couldn't even get drinks to go due to the poor service at the bar. We returned on Monday, May 27th after a not so great experience the day before. This time was waayyyy better. Dominique was at the bar and Love was shucking oysters. When the shift changed, Vanessa and Eric were there. They were all so friendly and accommodating. We ordered hurricanes which were amazing and the 2+2+2 oysters were delicious. There were 2 chargrilled, 2 Rockefeller and 2 bienville oysters. We returned the next day during happy and had more drinks, oysters and happy hour bites. All of the food was fantastic. It was hot and freshly prepared. Dominique and Love provided exceptional service and made our visit very pleasant and fun. They were very personable and efficient. This place is a true gem!

Shawna B.

Yelp
Delicious Raw oysters and Rockefeller Oysters. Actually everything is delicious on the menu. Attentive service, restaurant is clean and restrooms are too. Happy hour is busy, seems everyone knows their good menu and drinks. Get there early and enjoy the food on the menu.
google avatar

Latrice R.

Yelp
Disclaimer - My reviews are based on FOOD only. One thing about the service in NOLA - that is mediocre consistent across the board. You do not come to NOLA for the service - you come for the food. Jambalaya - Very spicy - This one has ham in it. I couldn't even finish this, and I love spicy food Shrimp & Grits - one word - BLAND Hot sauce + salt and pepper is NEEDED. The shrimp and grit were bland.
google avatar

Carrie S.

Yelp
I stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was friendly and efficient. Ordered too much but ate it all because it was delicious. I had the 2+2+2 oysters which included two of chargrilled, Rockefeller and bienville. The bienville were my favorite - crab meat and shrimp topping. The Rockefeller was probably the best I've had anywhere. The spinach seemed really fresh. The chargrilled were just ok. I've definitely had better at other restaurants. I also got a small bowl of seafood gumbo. It was loaded with seafood. A nice spice level and not too overpowering.

Yelp
This past week I had the opportunity to attend a conference in New Orleans. Just a short walk from the Marriott was Coterie. We first wondered into this resturant at lunch time. The first reason we chose this location was it actually had people eatting food in the middle of the day. We skipped any apps but jumped right into the Red Fish. The food was excellent, the fish was fresh and flakey. For desert (yeah not something I normally do for lunch) had to order a slice of key lime pie. It too was wonderful. The ambiance and service was so good we actually came back the next day for dinner. This time I had the hot chicken sandwich; also great. The key things to point out here is that the value for the service and food is some of the best in this area of town. Many of the resturants in this part of downtown are focused on tourists and the prices and the service shows. That is not the case here, it was so good I made sure to let the manager know that was working that night.

Food C.

Yelp
I ordered the fish platter I thought the fish flounder had no meat mostly crust with a mountain of French fries to fill you up. The tartar sauce was excellent. Service was ok at best he messed up 2 other orders and the bill. Would not recommend
google avatar

Monica ..

Yelp
Coterie- well worth the stop! Just the ambience we were hoping for! We made reservations and were greeted with great customer service. Our waitress was bubbly and attentive. We started with oysters because we had heard they were spectacular. The temperature and texture were superior to other locations we had stopped at. Drinks, oh the drinks! I loved the extra dirty martini and sazerac. I would highly recommend. All the other guests around us seemed really pleased and cemented that this is a stop worth making
google avatar

Louise A.

Yelp
My husband and I were walking by Coterie and noticed they had a happy hour so we decided to give it a try! We sat at the bar and had so much fun we actually stayed a couple of hours . We had great conversations and plenty of laughs with the bar tender, oyster shucker and fellow surrounding customers! The food and drinks were amazing...the oysters were phenomenal, we even convinced my husband to try his first and he loved it ! Definitely a great place to visit in New Orleans! So glad we stopped in .

Yelp
We found this charming spot for brunch with no wait. The Crabcake Eggs Benedict was delicious and the biscuits are fluffy and fresh.

Yelp
No oysters until 11 am. I have been here and loved their oysters. We also tried the shrimp po boy this time. The shrimps were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bread itself was a little chewy. I like it toasted and with a slight crunch. Great place for casual dining. The service was always friendly during my few visits.

Yelp
Just enjoyed the perfect trifecta while in New Orleans. Went with the TASTE OF ACADIANA Three of Cajun countries most enjoyed dishes, all prepared with true southern love and care in house: Crawfish etouffeé chicken & sausage jambalaya, and chicken & sausage gumbo. The flavors were perfect and a great variety when you don't get southern fix very often. Check that box for today. Happy I found this place just a few blocks off Bourbon St and the main downtown.
