We booked in for a half day spa package (£135pp). This was excellent value for money. The spa is set back in a separate building away from the main hotel and the facilities are lovely. A heated pool, jet system and Hammam spa room made this a thoroughly relaxing experience. Flip flops are provided for all guests to use along with robes and towels. The lovely Grace greeted us as we entered the spa and nothing was too much hassle for her. She kindly switched our afternoon tea from 3.00pm to 12.30pm with ease. Our full body massages were amazing and so was the cream tea (both came as part of the spa package price). Service here is wonderful and the team make you feel very welcomed. We would 100% be back!

Having stayed here before a few years ago, my husband & I decided to return recently for an overnight stay. I have to say that standards have slipped & the Cotswold House Hotel is not what it was. |We parked in the car park at the back of the hotel & found the signage & directions into the hotel virtually non existent. Once in the hotel, we had to ask another guest where the reception was. |The whole hotel seemed in need of a complete redecoration, as was the case with our room too. A good lick of paint everywhere would be a start.|Thankfully we ate dinner elsewhere but breakfast was rather clinical & prescribed, and the staff were not very welcoming.|I'm afraid that the Cotswold House Hotel is now an example of faded glory & we shall not be returning.

What a gem of a hotel this is. We stayed 4 nights bnb in a junior suite with views of the gardens and hills beyond, super comfy huge bed, separate lounge area with sofa, separate huge bath and walk in double shower and a balcony with table and chairs, staff were very welcoming and attentive, breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The pool and spa at the bottom of the garden was fab, adults only, and never busy as times are booked for swims. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely return. Thank you Cotswold house hotel and spa for a lovely stay. ❤️

This is a very elegant, smart hotel and excellent value. The service is impeccable, and my room was outstanding - number 5, very large, enormous bed and a gorgeous deep bath. If I had to make a criticism it would just be that the decor and lighting in the bar is rather lacking in atmosphere, and also, it would be a good idea to offer some bubble bath in the rooms - it’s not something one can buy travel size bottles of to bring with you and what’s a bath without it? Thank you for a lovely stay.

Inn is located in one of the most Charming villages in the Cotswolds! Stayed for one night during a Cotswolds Inn to Inn walking holiday. Lovely massage @ Spa. Beautiful garden. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Great location in the center of town. Would have loved to have spent more time in this lovely village; a favorite on our trip.

Unbelievable! Paid £350 a night for a cottage. Staff were lovely, however... pool was dirty, dirt all over the floor. Breakfast smelt off couldn't eat it and very small portions. Lastly soon as I left, they tried taking an additional £150 out my bank without letting me know. (I called) for putting dog food on the floor (no plates) and leaving the juzzaci dirty. It weren't dirty we literally went In there once In and out. Any excuse to get more money out of you, profit profit, after paying already £350. Surely they would wash out the hot tub, or do you not use it for the next customer? Went to plenty of accommodations never happened before. Joke!

A really lovely hotel/Spa in a quaint english village. No food served in the restaurant on a Sunday evening, however the very friendly and helpful staff advised of some lovely place to eat just a short walk away... Across the road is the sister hotel which served delicious food, We opted for the ribeye steak that was superb. Breakfast was really lovely in the bright and airy breakfast room, overlooking the patio and garden. Overall a lovely visit and would definitely go back and use the Spa facilities and pool.

We were/sare making a welcome return here and the lovely Seizencote suite, its fabulous runs front to back of the main house. Door to the high street and the car park. What's not to like.| |On arrival it was sad to see 7 defective lights and a broken sink plug. (It jams in will not return.)|Whatever happens to housekeeping?|Sadly the next morning it was decided to do a buffet style hot food breakfast. |Except it was not hot and served on stone cold plates. Most of the food was stuck to the insides of the heated 'tureens' and luke Warm.|Worse the"FRIED" eggs were round (like poached) and grilled dark brown. The scrambled eggs were like beige/cream coloured rubber with black spots|Being ex military I can eat any food, anywhere, at any temperature (food or ambience)|But at £400 per night! I winced and felt upset. |Myself and another complained. Excuses and Apologies accepted? |And offered MORE fresh food food sorry NO oh NO not more. |Later.|After 3 approaches (why 3 ) to reception I was later on after much discussion offered a rather insulting offer of £12.50 off dinner. As it was concluded I ate some of the breakfast (£18) |I think that they could have done massively and hugely a lot better.|After all Just fish and chips is £20. They have still not found the last 4 light bulbs and a working plug?||As I said OH DEAR.

Yelp
This Hotel came highly regarded of which we saw parts. The gardens in the back our pretty, the buffet breakfast was generous, staff were pleasant, and the downtown location was very convenient. However, overall hotel room comfort did not meet expectations. When we checked in, our room was very hot due to the sun coming in the windows. The AC didn't work properly and the front desk was very slow in finding someone to solve the problem. Because we faced the street, it was too noisy to have the windows open at night to get fresh air. Perhaps I would have felt differently if given a room in the back with a view of the gardens. This was our least favorite hotel out of the six we stayed in during a 7-day walking tour.

Yelp
Lovely hotel with comfy beds and fantastic bath and shower! Bathtub fills up fast and so soothing after a long day! The Fig restaurant was good and the bar/pub ok except for the jarring rock/blues that was blaring. Only problem was they are very understaffed so the wait times are long. I made an appointment at the spa but a customer before me was late and I couldn't wait the extra 30 minutes they were behind so I was so very disappointed....especially since they didn't offer anything like a percentage off on a product or service.....they didn't seem to care.

Yelp
This review is particularly for Afternoon Tea at FIG restaurant only. We stopped by after strolling around Chipping Campden without making prior reservation. The staffs were courteous and kindly checked for availability for us. We then were greeted and seated soon after. The service at Fig was great. The tea selections are great. The High Tea set are delicious and quite a lot! I actually enjoyed the scones quite a lot even though I don't like it that much in the States. Quality, Service, and Experience definitely worth more than 22£ per person.

Yelp
Cotswold House is the cat's meow...! The service is impeccable. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The ambiance is romantic and inviting. The grill is lovey and offers tasty meals. And, the setting - right smack in the middle of town - is gorgeous. A bottle of champagne was wating for us upon arrival. Bottled waters were provided with the evening turn-down service. And, the beds and bathroom in our room made us feel like we were in our own mini-spa. I'd return in a heartbeat. This is The Cotswolds. This is an English Rose amongst roses in the breathtaking English countryside. Yes, it is the 'COT's' meow... ;)

Yelp
Me and my wife stayed here for three nights in June. The location is spectacular and the rooms are extremely romantic. The breakfasts were wonderful. Our only complaint was that there was loud music in front of the hotel both our first night until midnight and all day the following two days. The first night was the Olympicks and the second day was a fair, so just beware of these events before booking.
