Cottage Inn Pizza Ann Arbor Packard

I’ve ordered from this cottage in three times in the last month two times back to back yesterday and today. I had order a chicken mediterranean pizza and wow was it AMAZING! I wasn’t not expecting it at all! An to my surprise when I went in raving about how good it was I found out that John made it yesterday and he had made it today so I’m definitely excited about tonights meal!

We love Cottage Inn in AnnArbor Packard. We have always had the best service from there. Julie, the manager, has always made sure that our monthly order is done perfectly. We serve a group once a month, feeding 50 people. I can honestly say the pizza is delicious, and it is delivered to us on time. When feeding college students, that is important!

We order from Cottage Inn for a student group every week. Cottage Inn management has always been so helpful, and the pizza is affordable and popular with the kids. We really appreciate the gluten-free option, and also the ability to place delivery orders a few days in advance.

I have never been so disrespected in my life. Not only am I a University of Michigan Alum, but I am a business woman. The way I was treated an hours before this location decided to shut down was unacceptable, and undeserved. I had a 40 minute driver that I asked both managers to help me with because I hadn’t ate all day and I he Ave high blood pressure. I was told by Mia, and the other manager that. It was too bad and that they were shutting down for the night and not taking anymore orders. I’ll never return to this Palma again. Not to mention the people standing around told me the food was salty and not good

Please seal up the orders on Uber eats and DoorDash whoever manages this place is not doing a good job or is not very bright. I don’t want any delivery drivers to mess with my food. Thank you.

The young lady who took my order was nice, courteous and hilarious. We shared an inside joke. I ordered a deep dish with two toppings extra cheese and pepperoni. I took it home to my son and he and I loved it! It was the perfect made pizza we have had in a very long time. I will be going back. Thank you!😋🍕😋🍕😋🍕😋🍕

I had an amazing experience the other day and cannot stop thinking about it. I came up to order a few pizzas for my sons birthday. I have been struggling a bit financially so I scraped everything I had together so I could get him what he wanted for dinner. The total ended up being a bit more than I had and my heart dropped but god sent me this angel Tamiah who helped me get the price down. I remember going out to my car and crying and thanking god for sending me this blessing. Thank you so much Tamiah you don’t know what your kindness meant to me.

Cottage Inn Pizza has always been an American institution. In my opinion. Their pizza and other options are fitted to fit even the most picky eater. With easy to please menu items such as the cinnamon Inn sticks and the ever so lovable Motor City meatball pizza. With much to offer and at affordable prices, is no loss of great quality. This is the pizza choice you want to make.

Amazing food!! The overall vibe for the ambience is absolutely amazing as well and the service is impeccable! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good local pizza because I do offer a lot of different options

I ordered late night delivery from the Packard location. Food was fine, and driver Marcel pleasant.

Honestly, the service was so nice, this place exceeded my expectations. The pizza is made fresh in a cool oven. The cheese tastes so good honestly I'm not sure why people go to other places when you have this place. They also gave us free garlic breadsticks, so kind of them

The only thing worth getting at Cottage Inn is the cinnamon sticks. The cinnamon sticks are so good especially when they are warm. When I went to pick up my order at Cottage Inn that I had placed ahead of time I had to wait for it. Once my wings were ready the worker who was supposed to be working on the cinnamon sticks forgot about them and gave us an extra order of cinnamon sticks. The workers were nice and understanding. The wings were not great at all. They didn't look appetizing and the sauces weren't great (especially the garlic Parmesan sauce). Overall it was great we had extra cinnamon sticks because the rest was disappointing.

It's a solid pizza place with really nice atmosphere. Pizza was just average however (C).

Pizza came out fast and was delicious. The pizza crust was tasty and crisp coveted in a garlic sauce. Hit this place up you won't be disappointed

I called Cottage Inn on State Street in Ann Arbor to have a delivery around 530pm on a Friday! I called the wrong location for where I needed the delivery and the man, Cameron, I believe his name was (location...Packard Street) was extremely helpful, gave me the number to the correct location to call and even the name of the person I should speak to, it was an unusual delivery, I'm sure! Spencer, at the State street location, howeve, was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and just not a nice person! I just thought, he's just having a bad day!! I thanked him profusely for doing the unusual delivery, however, when after an hour of no delivery in sight (approx 2 minutes away) I called back to inquire!! Again, Spencer was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional! Put me on hold, couldn't find my order, then comes back to the phone and tells me it is leaving the store now (after an hour) and assures me that it's still hot!! (which it was not) after 20 minutes, the driver finally arrives, and is also EXTREMELY rude and nasty!! Tells me she was driving around looking for me and tried to call me several times, but amazingly enough there were no missed calls on my phone!! You see, my delivery was to a school bus sitting in a parking lot at a U of M sporting event! As a school bus driver, it is very hard to find a place to be able to get my bus into without being a problem!! I just find it easier to find a pizza place that is willing to deliver to me!! I will NEVER order from Cottage Inn again and definitely let everyone I know about my horrible experience with Spencer, his delivery driver and their awful attitude!!! It's a very sad world now a days.

Give this lady a raise! She was working all by herself and I was craving pizza after a long week! She made it alone quickly, and it was excellent and crispy on the crust! Toppings were great as well, definitely will be back!

Worst location ever. One of the workers literally said to my friend "Bi*** are you deaf?" and that is just not acceptable at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst location and horrible customer service. Told us our pizza would be ready in 15 min but it's been over 40 and nothing has come yet. We have been waiting in front of them this whole time and they do not care about the timing, instead they were snappy and rude and made horrible comments the whole time. I do not know what staff you have working Sunday April 7th around 7pm, but they did a shit job. Will not be coming back.

I stopped ordering from them when during the height of the pandemic I discovered the workers were not wearing masks. But I decided to give them a try again. I ordered a deep dish pizza for pickup and when I got home I discovered it was not deep dish, it was slightly squared off but the crust was rock hard and less than 1/4". I called to complain and was told they were busy and to call back later. When I called again I was told that the person on the phone had no ide how to cancel the charge. So now I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company

The pizza is mid, great for football games. Gluten free pizza was ok, not my favorite. However, a good and efficient pizza for tailgates.

Took 2 hours to come and then as soon as our delivery person came to pick up the order, it was cancelled. We called 4 times, each time someone answered and then hung up on us. Terrible service.

When you call to place a order for 1 item they don't put your order in until you get there and then you waiting a additional 10mins the crust be hard from being in over to long it use to be good but now since the workers are lazy it's not good anymore

The food is pretty good but it's a little expensive. They've got a pretty rude delivery driver though.

This place is the go to for when you're craving for those late nights. But sadly, this place has disappointed me tonight. I ordered a large round 2 topping pizza, but when I received it it was a medium pizza cut in squares instead. When I called to tell them of this incident all I got was a promise for 15% off my next order. Sure it's 2am on a Friday morning, but they still shouldn't be messing up the orders that badly.

My wife and I are gluten-free. As such, a lot of pizza places have really mediocre pizza crust. We recently moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan from California. We became used to really good quality gluten-free pizza out west and thought we wouldn't find it here in the Ann Arbor area. But Cottage Inn is pretty darn good; The crust is pretty tasty and the toppings are excellent. Cottage Inn has become our go-to place for gluten-free pizza.

We SO love their Sweet & Spicy. Don't know how they concocted this combination but it's always great (though I'd like a bit more sausage). Although it's plant based I'd never guess. One of the best pizzas I've had - and a nice break from my standard pepperoni and 'shrooms.

We went to place an order at 12:57 AM and the guy that answered the phone was very rude he was a smart ass I did not appreciate it. I feel like if you hate your job that much to be rude then you shouldn't be working there because it's not my fault that you're working at a pizza place at 1 in the morning!

Pizza arrived about 10-15minutes after sending my order in, hot, ready, and delicious! They followed my instructions correctly. I have no complaints except I didn't get the breadsticks which I've heard great things about; I'll be back for sure

Only ever having ordered from this place, I can't speak for the locations themselves. However, because our order took so long they gave us an extra pizza and milkshake to make up for it. Great service! Drinks -PB Milkshake: mmmmm perfectly creamy and thick, and peanut-butter-flavored. Pizzas -Bacon Pizza: Even though the pizza looks a bit doughy, it's not. The sides are nice and crunchy and there's a good ratio of cheese to dough to tomato sauce. The bacon makes the pizza a bit salty and takes away from taste of cheese and tomato sauce. -Pepperoni Pizza: the pepperoni is extremely fresh and thickly cut. It tastes really great above the thick dough. Desserts -Cinnamon Stix: mmm, these are quite doughy but slathered in so much cinnamon, sugar and vanilla icing that they taste amazingly sweet and melt-in-your-mouth. FINAL VERDICT: The food is delicious, hearty, filling, and still quite warm when delivered.

Who knew that artichoke hearts would taste amazing on pizza? I'm a huge fan of the garlic parmesan crust. Although I don't eat meat, I was pleasantly surprised that they hid the salami between the cheese and the tomato! Delivery is super fast, even when ordering from a third party, EatStreet. Only complaint: do not get the chocolate chip cookie. It tastes like Play Doh, looks like Play Doh, and costs $1.50.

Mmm Cottage Inn! I no longer live in A2 but was visiting a friend, we did a 2 topping large pizza special for $9.99. You get ten slices so it was pretty big. It was ready in about fifteen minutes and was delicious. I would definitely get takeout from this location again.

I like old timey places - and marketing. Four stars for the old school box and flavor.

A friend recommended this place to me long before moving here, and I have to say that she was very right! Got a BBQ chicken pizza (which I'd definitely order again) and the artichoke fritters were to die and come back to life for! The price was fine, and the restaurant ambiance over all was very cool! Huge grape chandelier! Just loved all that bricky italian vibe. I'll go again, for sure, especially since it's so close to campus.

Never ordering from here again. On TWO occasions this week, my order was voided out and never delivered to me. To make matters worse, you CANNOT get anyone on the phone! So I was just waiting two hours for food that NEVER CAME. For two years this was my go-to when groceries were sparse in the fridge. I think some of the people there came to recognize me and my dog that always call in (he's always so excited when they arrive). But never again. This is the only edible delivery pizza in Ann Arbor and we've officially broken UP. Cottage Inn lost a customer this week.

Ordered pizza for delivery, pizza came with a long brown hair in it. I called to complain and they said they'd remake the pizza or give me a credit towards my next pizza. When I went to order again there were "no notes on my account" and they couldn't honor the credit. Gross and rude. 0/10, wont be back.

Pizza we got was really good, awesome thick crust at the end which is my favorite and really good flavor all around. The restaurant is super cute inside and the employees were all super friendly and so nice. If I was from around the area I would definitely make it a regular stop.

This is my go-to 'cheap' pizza delivery/pick-up place in Ann Arbor. I've frequented this location for over 8 years, and it's always been good. While I don't really go for any of the gourmet pizzas (I'm just too picky), group orders have always been great. This location used to be on my walk home from work/school and I ate her way more than I probably should, but the pizza is good. It's cheap and fast. The Cottage Inn Stix are one of my favorites in Ann Arbor as well. Parking is a little weird, it's on a corner and one side has an incline. Usually the parking is filled with delivery cars, but I can usually get in to pick things up when I need to. Getting out proves to be difficult at times, but that's just Ann Arbor for you. I will warn that they butter up their breadsticks/crusts quite a bit, and I've ruined several things because of this. I'm pretty sure there's still butter on my passenger seat. I don't know if their unique pizza box causes the grease to spill out more than other places, or my bucket seats are super jealous of my food, but definitely don't put it on anything that's not easily cleaned. I've also ruined a few dresses carrying the boxes too close to my body.

Every town has its legendary pizza place that is ubiquitous with being a member of the community. That is what Cottage Inn is to Ann Arbor. Its just tasty, reasonably priced pie. Not cardboard cheap like dominos or Ceasars. Not unjustifiably expensive like Pizza House. Just quality pie at a decent price. There's fewer things more important on the face of this earth.

I've always heard amazing things about this place and the pizza. But I will tell you I had a horrible time. First to start off, the waitress took 10 minutes before she took out order and there were only 4 tables of people there. The second thing, she sneezed and didn't wash her hand when she brought out someone's food 2 seconds later. The third thing is the pizza was cold when we got it. I was not impressed at all with my experience here. Maybe it's just this location or the people who work there but I will never go back because of how bad of experience I had.

I don't think that Cottage inn has really good pizza. They have some tasty toppings and some "creative" pizzas, but if you are a traditionalist, you will feel at a loss. I've seen the creativity at other pizzerias so it didn't have the same WOW-factor. The toppings and specialty pizzas raise the stars from a 1.5 to a 3! When I first got here (Ann Arbor), people would rave about Cottage Inn, Pizza House, and NYPD. For the most part, NYPD comes closest to New York style pizza. Cottage Inn and Pizza House make something that is reminiscent of New York style Pizza. If you end up ordering from this Cottage Inn, make sure you realize that the pizza is going to cost an arm and a leg. To deal with this absurd cost, you can go to the Packard location (this one) and get a medium deep dish with 1 topping for $4.99 (not including tax). THIS IS FOR PICK UP ONLY. If you get it delivered, the price jumps up! The medium deep dish is good enough for 2 decent meals if you can eat that much. The pizza reheats OK; not as bad as Pizza hut, not as good as fresh. I've tried a variety of toppings (thanks to Lab meetings + free Cottage Inn Pizzas) and I like the southwestern barb-B-Q - It has loads of chicken, bacon and BBQ sauce. If you are a student, this is going to be the equivalent of saving up for a nice expensive / romantic dinner. The original Cottage Inn on Liberty does NOT accept any coupons. Supposedly the liberty branch is the best Cottage Inn, but I'm not going to pay close to $20 for a 14 inch pie. Overall, I am disappointed with a lot of the pizza in this city. But I was once told "Pizza is like sex. It may not be fantastic or great every time, but it hits the spot." OK, I told myself this, but I think it holds true.

This review is for the delivery only ! I wish I could give 0 stars! The delivery driver calls me and tells me - we do not deliver inside ! I mean doesn't that defeat the purpose of delivery ? Rude guy! The food itself was ok. Have had way better food from LAPD which is nearby !

During staff meetings, I always opt for Cottage Inn Pizza, because aside from Pizza House's Chicago stuffed, they've got the best tasting pies in town. It's definitely the staff's favorite out of all the pizza's we've had to taste test througout the years, taking into account delivery time, crust quality, cheesiness, and toppings. Try their healthy pizza, which is made for people with heart problems. There's less oil. I love the Garden Vegetable. Tasty, and not as bad for you, so you won't feel guilty.

There once was a girl named Izzie. Who ate Cottage Inn until she was dizzy. At first her friends didn't mind, Yes, another greasy pie, what a find! Then the staff kicked them out cuz it was so busy.

This Cottage Inn is the quickest, most reliable pizza delivery for our neighborhood, even on nights when every student in town probably is ordering from them. Combination pizzas, like the one with chicken, bacon, and bbq sauce, are good, though not great, and so are the salads and bread sticks. Every menu item is very salty. The thick crust is better than thin crust if you ask me. Ask for the specials, they always have some.

I'll say it - Cottage Inn is underrated. This is, so far, my favorite "comfort" pizza in Ann Arbor. Although this particular location doesn't have seating (I've heard some do, along with a full menu including beer and wine) it doesn't matter to me - this is the kind of pizza I want to eat at home on my couch, in my pajamas. And I want to eat half a pie or more. The crust is PERFECT - at least as far as I'm concerned. I like it slightly puffy, chewy substantial. You can customize crust flavor options as well as type. Parmesean, garlic, butter, cajun... yum. Really nice variety of specialty pies, good variety in toppings AND the toppings are uber-fresh and uber-plentiful. This is not a pizza place that hides the veggies; every pie has fresh tomatoes all over it. (Domino's fans might go running, but produce lovers rejoice!) Affordable and fast - I'd call this one a big win. Go ahead and put their number into your speed-dial now.

Short and sweet, it's delicious pizza that's always ready on time! In addition, the staff is always friendly, and the one time out of many that my order was a bit late to pick up, they were apologetic and eager to compensate me for the time I spent waiting. All in all, great restaurant!

Cottage Inn Pizza has been around for 64 years, and I ordered my first pie 32 years ago. It's sort of like the Little Caesar's of Ann Arbor, a pretty good value. This time we had a regular round crust and a couple gluten-free crusts (one size). All good.

There's a lot of bread. Not a lot of sauce. Taste wise, it's better than Domino's but you're still in that culinary arena, more or less. Service was quick and easy--used Yelp's online ordering function and it went through like a charm. Pizza was ready within 10-15 minutes. Verdict? Don't expect much--it's cheap and quick pizza, so it'll do in a pinch.

Thanks to the Hooked app, I've frequented Cottage Inn more often than I'd like to admit. The app offers deals such as any large pizza for the price of a medium, and a large 1-topping pizza plus Inn Stix for $9.99. I split a large pizza with one other hungry person, and we usually have only one or two slices left over. We always call in, and we're usually told that our order will be ready in 15 minutes, and that's pretty accurate. As far as the quality of the pizza, it's exactly what you'd expect from a relatively cheap pizza place. Nothing spectacular or gourmet, but it gets the job done. If you're looking for decent pizza late at night that can be made quickly, Cottage Inn is your place!

This place was great. Huge location with tons of seating, warm decor, friendly staff. We had a group of 10 and were able to be seated on a busy, post-football game Saturday night in about 15 minutes. The pizza selection was vast and interesting. We ordered several different pizzas to sample among ourselves and they were all delicious. My favorite was probably the Spicy Italian. Good crust, good cheese, good sauce. Prices were exactly in line with other pizza places. They also have some local beers on tap. This is a pretty good place to grab a slice.

Amazing for cheap, fast pizza! I live about 3 blocks from the place and got their personal pan pizza + 2 toppings for ONLY $4! How amazing?! From call time to pick up, it only takes 10 minutes. The quality is ok and I won't even comment on how unhealthy this place probably is lol But I will say... when I am drunk, I know I'll hit this place up!

Gave this place a try, not to bad but not the taste for me and food was cold when delivered.

So everytime I come out to Ann arbor I make sure to RELY ON YALL COTTAGE IN ON PACKARD STREET TO HOOK MY HIGH ASS UP. 2 toppin large pizza and the bread and 2 ranches and a sauce for only 22.22 exactly and my god it's so good just the right amount of sauce and cheese. My god and the people who work always so nice and respectful my god I love it.

Cottage Inn pizza is the budget pizza of choice around here. It's actually slightly lower quality than Little Ceasar's, but it's a similar style kind of pie, offers more options, and has the advantage of ubiquity around campus. My wife and I ordered breadsticks. My wife held the box in the car. The grease from the breadsticks soaked through the cardboard box, through her down jacket (two nylon layers and the down filling), and through her jeans. Their pizza is about the same, except the crust is kind of undercooked. But it's better than NYPD; in terms of grease, on a scale of 1 to 10, NYPD is a screaming apocalypse heart attack, and Cottage Inn is just an 8. On the plus side, they have a decent selection for toppings--they have roasted red peppers. And their sesame seed crust is pretty alright, if you don't mind it being attached to undercooked, greasy, bland pizza. So I'll give them two stars for variety.

This has been our go-to location for years but no more. We've had five bad experiences in a row. Twice they gave our pickup order to someone else. Twice they forgot to make our order, and once the food was burned, which we discovered when we got home. They have offered to make good on these mistakes but enough already. Maybe delivery is a better experience than pickup. But we aren't going back.
