Counterpart Brewing

One of our absolute favourites brewery/ restaurants. Their fruited, sours and IPAs are always creative and delicious. The food is incredible. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. Features board is always a hit. Honestly can’t go wrong here! Highly recommend!

Such a gem! Everything was amazing and the service was great. 10/10 would recommend! The kale salad, burgers, fish tacos, and calamari were amazing. Honestly couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. This is the best brewery I’ve ever been to. Food in general, amazing. Pretzel was to die for, and you have to get the fried chicken. My fiancé and I loved it so much, we came twice on our 2 day stay in Niagara Falls (and got fried chicken, kale Caesar, and pretzel). I’m also not a beer drinker, but there were fruit-forward beer for me (loved the blender, better place, and live wire). Great energy as well with indoor and outdoor seating, and games. We are now trying to convince them to open in NYC!

Counterpart is one of those rare gems where you almost want to keep it a secret… but it’s too good not to share. Everything here is perfection. The type of menu where you don’t need substitutions… because why mess with greatness? The burger and chicken sandwich are hands down the best in Niagara (yes, I’m prepared to fight people on this). The tacos? Unreal. The kale Caesar is creamy, garlicky heaven, the fries are always on point, and when they have the flourless brownie on the menu—clear your schedule, you’re going to need a minute. If you’re wondering about portions: yes, you’ll leave full. We even hosted our Dinner Club here, and everyone raved about the setup and rolled out satisfied. Presentation is consistently beautiful, and the food tastes just as good as it looks (no filter required). For the beer lovers: the rotating beer list is always fun, with solid choices, cool can drops, and artwork that’s worth showing off. Pair that with staff who are genuinely friendly, outgoing, and quick to make you feel at home, and you’ll understand why Counterpart has such a loyal following. FAQs I get from friends who haven’t been yet: • “Is it worth the hype?” → 100% yes. • “Will I find something I like if I’m picky?” → Absolutely. The menu is approachable but creative, and I’ve never had a bad meal. • “Is it casual or fancy?” → Somewhere perfectly in between. You can go for a relaxed lunch or make it feel like a night out. Counterpart doesn’t just get food right, they get the whole experience right. If you’re eating in Niagara and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

This the perfect place to eat and drink during your trip to Niagra! Do NOT eat in Niagra near the falls- come here! It is very well located on the main road to the falls, with extensive parking and we were well received, beautifully served throughout by Mike and were presented with really lovely freshly made-on-the-premises food. The drinks menu was,as you would expect, extensive and it was fun to check the beers and buy a few to take home. In summary, highly, highly reccomended. Thank you Counterpart for a very fine lunch!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon based on a recommendation. The atmosphere was lively and the servers were attentive. The cheeseburger, a signature dish, was juicy and nicely done. The fried chicken sandwich was spot on and the fries were crispy and perfect. The cauliflower taco, pretzel, and beer were great as well. I didn't have one single negative comment about anything we had! It's no wonder why people keep coming to this place.

Counterpart Brewery never disappoints—great seasonal beers, tasty food, and a fun, and lively vibe. I love their service system too (put up or down the table number to signal staff) — perfect if you just want to relax without constant check-ins.
