Country BBQ

My wife and I stopped at Country BBQ this morning for a drive-thru breakfast meal. Three days earlier, I ordered a bacon breakfast platter with hash browns (tater tots) and a biscuit. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. It's supposed to be 2 eggs for both but when we got our orders it looked like 4 eggs and each had 4 slices of bacon. Neither of us could eat all the food given to us. Soooo, we decided to order one bacon/scrambled egg platter. We divided the eggs up and the bacon. Once again it looked like 4 eggs and there were 4 slices of bacon. I got the biscuit and hash browns with half the eggs and half the bacon (2 slices) and she got half the eggs and half the bacon (she doesn't eat carbs). We were both full and plenty satisfied. All for $8. What a deal!!!! It was mmmmm...mmmmm...gooood. Y'all be sure to stop by Country BBQ for some awesome food.

I stopped by this morning ordered 5 tenderloin and egg biscuits. I did not receive any egg and this is the 2nd time it has happened. Some of the tenderloin was hard around the edges and the biscuits where crumbly and falling apart. This is not how the food usually is and seems to be going down hill. I did call and spoke to someone saying I could pick up the correct item and that is the only reason this has 2 stars.

The pulled pork plate is piled high with flavorful pork! There are several choices of sauce. Ordered red slaw (excellent!) and Mac & cheese (also good). The plate came with about 10-12 tasty and nicely cooked hushpuppies. The server was great! She took our order at the table. She explained what came with the plate, kept our drinks filled, and was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was what you would expect at a family-friendly barbeque restaurant. Adequate seating, easily accessible. Would recommend. We'll definitely be back.

We got our breakfast through the drive thru so we could eat it by the lake. I'm on a keto diet so I just ordered the scrambled eggs and bacon. I had so many eggs and 5 pieces of bacon. I could only eat half of it, I ate the other half for lunch. It was much cheaper than ordering the platter.

The tenderloin biscuits and sandwiches are very good. Good prices here too.

Stopped by for lunch. Ordered a BBQ sandwich combo with no slaw, but instead got no straw😄 Ran back through for a make-up sandwich, but it was very dry and bland, and didn't have as much meat as I expect from a good BBQ joint. The sweet tea was somehow also bad, and I dumped most of it. The fries were very good, and gave me something positive, but overall a very disappointing experience.

I went to have their Brunswick stew, which is good, BUT THE SIZE OF THE REGULAR WAS RIDICULOUS FOR $3.99..IT'S SOO SMALL!!! I get that the price of things has gone up, but really! I was so disappointed in the serving size of this...see picture 📸

If you want BBQ, save your money, do not go here. My sliced pork was waterlogged with no flavor at all. My son ordered chopped pork, it comes out looking more like minced pork. Still no flavor. My husband ordered the pork, chicken, and ribs. These did not have flavor either. The mashed potatoes taste and look like instant potatoes. Poor quality food. One the other hand, the French fries were ok. As far as the other food, you should probably pass and find another place to eat. We picked this place due to the ratings. Don’t trust the ratings
