I stopped by Country BBQ this morning on my way to work. After waiting in the drive-through line, I was informed at the speaker that they were only accepting cash due to their POS system being down. I left to get cash, then returned and placed my breakfast order.
When I reached the window, I asked if I could add a sweet tea to my order. The employee appeared annoyed, responded with “I guess,” and then shut the window.
I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but it was frustrating to wait in line, leave to get cash, return, and then be made to feel like an inconvenience for adding a single drink. It would also be helpful to have a sign or someone notifying customers ahead of time that only cash is being accepted so people aren’t waiting unnecessarily.
