Country BBQ

Had breakfast there and wasted my money. The grits were watery and couldn’t eat. My eggs were not cooked right. Hard cooked doesn’t mean runny. The biscuit was cold. Last time eating there.

I've been eating at Country BBQ for 30+ years when they first started in a tiny location in South High Point, NC. Nowadays I usually stop for a tenderloin and egg biscuit if I'm in town. It's always very good with a generous slice (or two) of tenderloin and a fresh egg. The biscuits are just OK, the meat is the star of the show. It's enough for two people.

My wife and I stopped at Country BBQ this morning for eat in breakfast. The food was awesome as usual and the portions were huge. Excellent breakfast. Thank you Country BBQ.

Great food great atmosphere didn’t understand why I was expected to go get my food from the front counter while others who were dining in were waited on by the servers and I also had nobody come to my table and had to ask for a refill in the same way! Meh oh well hopefully it will work out better next time!!

All the staff were nice, but as someone who's used to down home good cooking, my biscuit and tenderloin needed more flavor. It was extremely bland like you had to add all the butter and seasoning yourself. If you're used to flavorful meals unfortunately don't expect that from their biscuits.

I ordered an egg platter with sausage gravy and a biscuit. My husband was concerned I was not getting enough protein. Look at the photo and tell me what you think. It looks like they gave me 6 scrambled eggs. I couldn't even eat half of it, so I've got breakfast for tomorrow too. Their biscuits are soooo good. I have half of that left too. My husband had the bacon platter with tater tots. I was going to get a slice of their chocolate cake with chocolate icing (which is the best in town) but I was so full I didn't do it. If you haven't been here for breakfast you are missing out. They serve breakfast until 11 am.

Can't go wrong eating here. Tenderloin biscuit is where it's at! BBQ is decent. Meat and vegetables plates are great.

I eat breakfast here regularly for about 3 months The food is always fresh exactly what I order and the staff is always friendly The biscuits taste like your grandma baked them I have never been asked to pull up and wait or anything the chain stores do The owners of this restaurant have a fantastic staff!!! Forget Bojangles and the rest their biscuits are the best!!! Very reasonably priced!!!
