Country Boy Fried Chicken in Pacific Beach serves up mouthwatering, freshly fried chicken tenders and fries in a laid-back spot that locals can’t get enough of.
"Country Boy Fried Chicken is getting off the ground in Pacific Beach in early 2019. Located at the corner of Garnet Avenue and Cass Street (1001 Garnet), its flagship, 2,000-square-foot space is currently being remodeled by founder Sean Fitzhugh. Having run the concept for three years in the Seattle area, Fitzhugh moved to San Diego to relaunch the fast-casual restaurant, which specializes in freshly fried chicken tenders. The Pacific Beach location will offer late night hours, and Fitzhugh tells Eater that future outposts could include a bar or a drive-thru window.
