Country Cob Bakery - Kyneton

Country Cob Bakery definitely deserves the hype for its incredible selection of pies. I tried the Beef Cheese Chilli Jalapeño and it was great, and it had the perfect, flaky golden crust. They have a huge range of items to choose from for dessert; the New York Cheesecake was rich and creamy. On a practical note, they do clean toilets available, including a baby changing table. Overall, if you're a pie enthusiast, this place is well worth a visit.

Girlfriend and I tried: sausage roll, beef and truffle, scallop mornay and the cowboy. Best sausage roll I’ve ever tried, beef and truffle was a stand out delight. We also tried lemon meringue and custard tart. Best lemon meringue I’ve had. There is no hype, it’s all fact. Great place and worth the 40 min drive.

Good beef pies (and I dont like pies but this one just awesome). I did not mean to buy the pie for me but they have bite size, so I decided to try again. It is very good, and I am coming back for frozen ones tomorrow to bring home. Vanilla slice is good, but the icing bit too sweet for us. If ever you pass by Kyneton, this is a MUST TRY

Pies to die for!! 😋 The YouTube reviews are spot on, they are the real deal, and the pies are spectacular. Superb range of gourmet and plain meat pies 🥧. So many to try! Challenge accepted 😎 Sat down to relish in the delightful pork pepper pie and lamb ragu with a sausage roll chaser and a hot pot of tea on a chilly Saturday morning. Watched an endless stream of people come and go with boxes and boxes of takeaway pies, and a whole array of even tastier sweet treats 🥳 So we took home a box of gourmet pies too. Love it. Highly recommended

Move over historic Piper street, there's a better attraction in town! I love structure and a fast moving line. This bakery knows how to make a pie and a lasting impression and I'm not just talking about the perfect flakes of pastry on everyone's chin in here. Do not miss out!

Tasty things, Nice staff. Love so pi y? eat beef cheese chilli jalopino. Love a bit spicy? Eat pper beef. Both are tasty.

Dont miss this Bakery in central Kyneton, its always busy, the pastries are excellent. The cowboy meat pie is worth buying two to take one home.

Definitely worth the 40 min drive for the pies and dessert. We had the plain meat pie and curry scallop pie, both pies were good but i absolutely loved the scallop pie, they are very generous with the scallops, and they are decent sized scallops not the baby scallops. After trying scallop pie in Salamanca Market in Tasmania, never found another place in Melbourne that made pies like they do in Tassy! Also tried their award winning vanilla slice and strawberry matcha slice, love how it’s not overly sweet, perfect balance of the custard, crispy pastry and icing is not too thick like how other bakeries make it. The strawberry matcha slice is not overly sweet.

If you want the world's best pies you are at right place. Love them all can't decide which is my favourite

This place asked a Seeing Eye Dog to leave..... will not be going back. Use to be a great place to go for early mornings coffee and cake but think new owners have changed stuff up and now the kids refuse to eat the pies
