Best iced coffee on Staten Island. I got a Sugar Free option (Hazelnut) with milk and really didn't taste sugar free at all. A great balance of sweetness and a nice pairing to a humid day. This specific location is located in a spacious parking lot. Easy parking is my thing. I got a nice table to enjoy the coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. My only recommendation would be to have some smaller tables. There are 5 larger tables with 4 seats. Tables that seat 2 would probably increase comfort and business.

Horrible service, bad management. The last 2 times I was there in the restaurant on Amboy Rd, I placed my order and maybe 6 or 7 people came in after me and their orders came out first as I stood waiting. The cook on the grill kept looking back at me and spoke Spanish to the counter girl. Finally when he completed my order he bought it out to me himself and stared at me. Creepy place. Will never go back again.

My husband (not from this country) wanted a box of French crullers. The worker gave him all original donuts and charged him $11. The workers don't know the difference between a French cruller and an original donut. The workers do not know what's going on. You have to go in there knowing what you want and double check your order. This was a surprise for my birthday because I do not like cake. Happy birthday to me.

Been a customer here over 25 years. The food is good and reasonably priced. The girls here are soooo nice. Treat you like a customer should be Amber and Nancy are very friendly and treat customers very well. Love going here for my morning goodies Love my new 🧢 Eddie!! TY

Not sure where the name comes from. It's certainly not very "country" here on Staten Island. In any case, I like the donuts. They have chocolate creme filled, which they no longer carry at Dunkin's. They also have good coffee and take credit cards with no minimum, which is great.

The best donuts ever!!! I live in New Jersey and every time I come into Staten Island I have to stop and get a dozen vanilla frosted donuts! They are always super fresh and they will remain fresh for two days!!

excellent young staff who is polite and moves fast, excellent modern coffee shop with latte, cappuccino, etc. that taste great. Open bright and clean atmosphere. Loving it. The only great coffee shop around the area w/ donuts and cakes.

A year later. November 11, 2022...lady at front counter looked like she was in a bad mood. As I was about to pay for my coffee, she mumbled something quickly to me about five feet away. I had to ask her to repeat her statement A year ago...11/2021 My last and final visit. In the past, always impressed by the professionalism of this place. Very nice people. What has happened ? Came into this store for one coffee. Lady was behind partition doing something....finally I got to ask for my order....charged $2.80 for my $2.49 coffee. Was short changed 3 cents.....why ? Was I asked to donate 3 cents???? NO! What is it with businesses here in Staten Island that just want a few pennies without asking ..can you ask the the customer first please ?. I was brought up to be honest..

Great staff and a great atmosphere. The girls are very respectful, call me by name, and always know my coffee order when I walk in. I thought they were giving me special treatment, but they literally know EVERYONE's name and order - I'm amazed at that level of service and commitment. I recently had a work event catered by them for a mid morning brunch type deal. Eddie the owner did a great job taking my order and having it ready exactly when he said it would be. I would recommend their catering to anyone who's hosting a similar event - Professional and spot on. Thanks for everything, and keep up the great work! Chris

These donuts are amazing but unfortunately we found a hair in one of the donuts this morning and threw out the whole batch. I know these things can happen but it's disappointing when it happens to such a great and otherwise delicious place.

Good coffee & chocolate donuts! Located in a shopping center which makes it easy to get to and park at. There's also so many options there's definitely something for everyone!

Love this place.Delicious coffee yogurt and donuts .Definitely recommend the vanilla cookie dough for people that like sweet things .Also very cute inside and clean Workers are so sweet

Went to this location around 7pm so they were gonna close soon, didn't expect much left but they still had some glazed donuts which are my favorite. They weren't as soft and fluffy as when you get them in the morning but it was still good. Cashier was nice.

Anytime I come in they always make my coffee wrong and when I ask them to fix it they start rolling there eyes and stuff like relax you ruined it can you at least fix it?? It's so annoying cause it ruins my morning having to pay 5 dollars almost everyday just for them to mess it up. I'm not going back there

When i'm not in the mood to sit at the diner I come here. Perfect for a quick bite. I prefer country donuts over Dunkin donuts anytime. The food and coffee is good. The line can be long but it goes quick. Love country donuts.

As far as I know this is the best place to get donuts on the island. I was told they had the best iced coffee so I finally went to try it for the first time. I got a regular iced coffee and it was good but I expected better from all the hype. I wouldn't go out of my way for this coffee but if I was near I wouldn't hesitate to try it again. They have a moderate selection of donuts and muffins. I would recommend trying the chocolate croissant donut and their muffins are much tastier than Dunkin' Donuts. They also offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches.

I love this Country Donuts location! The employees are very friendly and helpful. The donuts are always fresh and the whole bakery selection looks delicious. Even when I come late, there is usually a fair selection of baked goods still available and the hours are convenient since they stay open late (unlike the local bakeries or DD).

While the line may be lengthy, the food is quite delicious for their low prices. A quick yet enjoyable bite, they have a wide variety of donuts from the classics, vanilla and chocolate with or without sprinkles, to out of the ordinary donuts such as the chocolate coconut and s'mores donut, which I recently tried (4/5, needs more graham cracker and has the perfect amount of marshmallow). Besides donuts, they also have coffee, different kinds of sandwiches, and other kinds of food available - chicken tenders, fries, burgers, quesadillas, and breakfast foods such as an egg sandwich. You can also customize a breakfast sandwich tailored to what you desire. A great place.

What a delightful place to stop by to taste a coco chocolate donut. They also make a mean iced latte, and they're open late.

I don't even know where to start when Im writing a review for this country donuts. Every time you walk in your immediately greeting by such friendly girls behind the counter making your coffee and giving it to you with a real smile like they were actually happy to serve you. The kitchen staff even go out of their way to greet you and bring you your food. The coffee is delicious and for half the price of another coffee place the breakfast is better than going to a deli I order egg whites so usually in the deli they skimp you for not actually having the whole egg on your sandwich not country donuts the egg whites are the same size as if you got the whole egg. Don't even get me started on the delicious donuts yum!

Everything about this place is very nice. Low-key, comfortable vibe. Our order came out promptly. Great customer service at Country Donuts Amboy, I've experienced hospitality at its best! Definitely will be back!

I've been to this location several times and their donuts and pancakes are always fresh and delicious. A few days ago my husband and I decided to get their egg platter with home fries, bacon and toast and we decided to sit down and eat there. Unfortunately as I was eating my home fries, I found a black hair about 1 1/2 inch long. I decided not to eat the home fries and continued to eat my over easy eggs and toast since I really do not like to complain, when I found another dark hair about 4-5 inches long in my eggs. At this point I got up and walked to the counter and showed them at which point a female and male cook come out from the back without hair nets each claiming the other had prepared that specific order. They were going to prepare another order but at that point I had already lost my appetite. My recommendation: cooks should wear hair nets.

Horrible customer service. I placed an order weeks in advance. When I arrived to pick up they were unable to fulfill my order and told me "take it or leave it". Beyond disappointed especially because that answer came from the owner

Probably one of the few places on Staten Island to get a fresh donuts..Parking is very easy yet it is severely understaffed. Donuts are good and they also offer other breakfast goodies and bagels. Food was pretty fresh yet The weight was a bit too long.

Best spot to get real fresh homemade donuts . The coffee is amazing also can't go wrong with their regular cup of coffee or the iced coffee which is better than Starbucks by a lot . The apple cider donuts are a great purchase once the fall season is around

They must search to find the rudest most incompetent girls to take orders/ring up. There were only two customers sitting together when I ordered a grilled cheese with all the veggies. I waited 27 minutes for it. When it was finally "ready" the one slice of cheese was not even melted and there was one slice of tomato, no veggies. I got my money back I was scared to try again.

One of my favorite places nearby to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. It's like a local gem, filled with regulars who frequent each day. Located in a pretty busy shopping center, it can get a decent amount of foot traffic but they keep things moving. The iced coffee is delicious, I love to get french vanilla (creamer) iced coffee. The best part is that they whip it, so it just always tastes smooth and delicious. Prices for coffee are average and comparable to Dunkin but the coffee is just much better than Dunkin. When I'm in a rush I love to get a roll with egg whites, turkey bacon, and avocado! They make it fresh but it comes out nice and quick and it always tastes delicious. They also have some good lunch food that's made fresh (including some lunch specials each day). The prices for food are excellent and can't be beat for quick yummy fresh food. I've never had a donut there, but many people have raved to me that they're always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive. This location is smaller than the other one, but produces some great stuff that I keep going back for. A great local spot definitely worth trying!

This place has excellent pumpkin spice lattes. Barista said with a lol cinnamon it would be sweeter. Couldn't agree more. Good price for good service. Big variety of food but I am in a pizza mood today

This place was oddly busy for 11am on a Wednesday. Lots of people sitting and talking. Nice donut selection, but nothing you wouldn't find at Dunkin. I found the flavors to be very similar, and would doubt it if anyone could tell one from the other in a blind taste test. I did try some of a log-shaped old-fashioned styled donut with a raspberry filling... that was delicious. So overall, nothing mind blowing but not bad.

Eddie and his staff at country donuts went above and beyond to cater my firehouse ceremony on 9/11. The food was hot and delicious and couldn't have asked for anything to be better. Thank you Eddie from the castle on the hill

My new favorite donut spot. Light and fresh. Had two sugar donuts and took 5 chocolate horns to go.

I had no idea that Country Dounts served actual food. They have Burgers, Wraps, Club Sandwiches, Wings & much more. I give their service & their food 5 stars. They have awesome coffee too, better than DunkinD's! I'm a big coffee drinker & i really appreciate a good cup of Joe! If you like coffee as much as me, you'll appreciate Country Donuts coffee too.

Great iced coffee at an inexpensive price. Dunkin' Donuts doesn't come close. Best iced coffee I've had.

Ran to pickup some donuts early on a Sunday morning. It was a little busy, but the staff greeted everyone with smiles. I like their donuts better than Dunkin; they're always soft and fresh, unlike Dunkin's which taste like they sat overnight. Good selection of salads and yogurt parfaits in the case. Never had a bad experience here.

I like to come here for ice coffee. It's a cute little shop with friendly sales girls. I like that they "whip" the iced coffees and iced teas.

Love this place!! One of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots on this side of staten island. The chicken and potatoe salad, are probably my favorites. They have these onion rolls that are to die for!! And the ice coffee flavors are endless and unique like toasted marshmallow or funky money. They even have a low carb/fat menu that consists of egg whites and turkey bacon. They make a great chicken soup i even eat it in the summer bc i cant get enough of it, im not kidding! One of the old people hang outs so its like super busy 9am to 11am. So get there early or call and order ahead of time to avoid the line/wait. Its situated in a big parking lot so parking is easy esp for amboy road. I probably eat here 2 to 3 times a week because its right by my office. The owner is a lovely man and the staff is super friendly. Clean establishment. 5 star!!

Like a much, much better Dunkin Donuts. Their doughnuts aren't as frilly, but they're way tastier. Good spot to grab a coffee and read the news.

This place has gone down hill .. such a shame they used to listen to you as a customer.. the food is great .. but the girls making the coffee just don't listen anymore ...

I don't know how they do it, but their coffee is the best coffee I've ever had. And it's literally only $2 for a medium size. Their donuts are always fresh and fluffy and their food is actually really tasty too! I love how there's always a good neighborly crowd in there

The doughnuts are amazing I love the apple crumb. I also love the generous amount of fries you get with your order. The food is always cooked well. When I was able to eat cheese the quesadilla's were my favorite.

After a near death experience on Amboy Road on the way to this establishment, I arrived to find a dearth of Bavarian cream donuts. Disheartened by the selection, I settled for a mere Boston cream donut. Upon sitting down, I was appalled to discover a travesty. The Boston cream donut lacked its most essential ingredient: the cream. It was entirely devoid of any semblance of cream filling. I'm unsure how this business continues to open its doors to the public as a premier donut establishment. The iced coffee was passable, but it may have just been my tears flavoring the coffee. I will not be returning.

The people who rate this place so highly must have no clue about quality food and service. I'm not a fan of dunkin donuts ...but this place is terrible. The girls at the register are arrogant and shouting out to all the familar male customers like hey tony!!...hey bobby!! it just doesnt seem professional and was terribly obnauxious in my opinion!! The food felt over priced and so very basic. I went there once, and only once. Only people who go here are probably neighbourhood regulars who like their names being called out by those awkward register girls.

food, coffee, and donuts are all absolutely delicious but portions are small. When ordering a chicken wrap I would expect more than one piece of chicken buried in lettuce and tomatoes.

Good for breakfast and lunch. Prices are reasonable. Their coffee is better than Dunkin, any day. They are always busy. Great fresh donuts. I especially enjoy their Iced Coffee. They do not charge you as much as other chain stores. Try em out if you are in Eltingville!

Ed has worked very hard to make this place like "Cheers" where people come in and everybody knows your name. His food has a wonderful presentation and of course out of this world whether it be just a bagel, donuts, breakfast and lunch. He works hard at accommodating the needs of the community. Never to be forgotten were the breakfasts he made for workers of Hurricane Sandy. Free of Charge. Your in good hands when you go into his shops.

Renovated this location a while back and it is much nicer. Staff has always been very friendly. Coffee can be a little hotter, it's good, but that would be my only knock on this place.

Awesome place for a quick recharge. I know Country Donuts is a franchise with more than one location. But this location definitely makes an effort to stand out in terms of customer service. Highly recommended.

I had a major dilemma for a 300 person breakfast. I franticly phoned Eddie and told him my pastry order from another vendor fell through moments before. With 300 people on the way, Eddie, in 15 minutes put together a beautiful array of pastries & donuts and saved the day! My guests raved about the quality and how delicious everything was! Eddie is a team player and a true man of his word! Kudos to Eddie and his wonderful staff! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Still excellent a service at this location!!!! Had breakfast there with my lady as my car was getting work done on it!!!!! At least you do not get any annoying guidos at this location!!!!!

Garbage, the people are rude. A shame the coffee is the best on Staten Island. The workers are going to run it to the ground working in customer service I would never imagine slamming things and rolling my eyes after someone asked me to remake something the right way.
